Last September, Halle Berry revealed that she?d adopted a new kitten named Bandit that she?d found in her yard. Bandit joined Halle?s two other cats, Boots and Coco, who also showed up in her yard the year before. She has two Labradoodle dogs as well. More kittens soon started popping up outside of Halles house, so she began fostering them and paying their vet bills as she found them new homes. Halle and her neighbors figured out that there was a tomcat who was ?laying pipe? in her neighborhood, so they set a trap to catch him and have him neutered. She was also able to catch the kittens? mother and get her spayed.
There must be something in the air in Halle?s neighborhood to make it such a fertile breeding ground because she keeps finding more kittens to foster and more parents to get fixed. During an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show to promote her new movie, Crime 101, Halle revealed that she now has four cats and has started an unofficial cat rescue side hustle.
Im turning into a cat lady. I have four now? This isnt official, but I have named my rescue Hearts and Paws. I have found countless kittens, but I also try to catch the moms and the dads and get them fixed because thats how I fix the problem. And so I capture them, get them all tied up, and then Ive kept four of the kitties, but I find now I have to stop. And Im finding four is a lot. And I have two dogs, too. But Ive taken this on as like my side hustle in my neighborhood to sort of fix the problem.

Hearts and Paws is an adorable name for a cat rescue! I freaking love that Halle is still fostering kittens and helping them find homes. It?s also really great that she?s going the extra distance to catch the parents to have them spayed and neutered. She has a large platform and is using her resources and voice for good. I wonder if she will pursue starting an official cat rescue agency. We actually got our cat two years ago today (Feb 24) from a local cat rescue agency after several friends recommended it to us. She?s a tortie that was found living with her siblings at just a few weeks old and is the absolute best companion for our family.
Drew being Drew, she of course asked Halle if she?d ever heard two cats doing like they do on the Discovery Channel. Drew then did her own impersonation of what feline intercourse sounds like and got Halle to join in. It?s a wild moment that at first made me cringe but upon rewatch, I cannot stop laughing at it. As it turns out, when push comes to shove, I?d rather watch Drew imitate cat foreplay than awkwardly touch someone in the most uncomfortable way.

On this site, I once wrote about how my parents would rub an alcohol-soaked finger across my gums when I was a teething baby. I considered it an old-school method of dealing with a teething baby, and I still believe that method was probably quite common for parents in the ?50s, ?60s and ?70s. Well, people acted like my parents were handing me a bottle full of liquor! Commenters were so outraged, I still remember that. Well, I thought about that today as I read this new Margot Robbie story. Apparently, when she was growing up in Australia in the 1990s, her mom used to give her Kahlua-and-milk as a bribe to finish her homework. OH MY GOD.
Margot Robbie admitted that her mother Sarie Kessler used to mix her a drink with Kahlua when it came time for her to do homework as a kid. Robbie, 35, laughed off the confession when she appeared on the Table Manners podcast on Wednesday, Feb. 11, as she promoted her new movie Wuthering Heights. During the podcast, the Australian actress discussed her familys dinner habits growing up with the podcasts British hosts Jessie Ware and her mother Lennie.
In our house, [dinner] would often be late, because things were often quite disorganized, Robbie shared, after describing her preferred pre-dinner snacks, which included a cheese board and a bowl of nuts and bolts ? cereal, nuts and dried noodles ? that she would eat at five oclock, or fivezies, as Robbie called it. Its also like a family thing ? you have a rum and Coke [and] some nuts and bolts.
When Ware, 41, and her mother Lennie asked Robbie how old she was when she began drinking rum and Coke, she added, Honestly, my mum used to, in order to get us to sit ? I dont know if I should share this ? she used to give us Kahlua and milk so that we would do our homework.
Wed be running around like maniacs and shes like, Sit at the bench and do your homework, she added as the podcasts hosts laughed. And I love a White Russian. Thats probably why.
Robbie grew up as the third of four children in her household: she has one older sister, Anya, an older brother named Lachlan and younger brother named Cameron. (Both of Margots brothers work in Hollywood, while Anya works as an accountant.) The Robbie siblings grew up on a farm on Australias Gold Coast, and their father Doug left Sarie and their children when Margot was 5 years old.
I was very much a bogan growing up, though I did not realize it at the time, Margot said on the Table Manners podcast, using a self-deprecating Australian slang term for someone of a low social class as she described her familys eating habits.

In the past two years or so, Angelina Jolie has been going blonder and blonder. I have mixed feelings about it I think darker hair suits her and makes her look younger, but I have to admit, her current honey-blonde shade looks pretty good. These are photos of Angelina in Paris last night for the Couture premiere. Angelina costars in the Alice Winocour film, which went to some film festivals last year. They ended up delaying the release until this year, and the trailer was released last month (I?m including it at the end of the post). While Angelina?s character is an American, Jolie speaks French throughout the film? Which is kind of cool. Bilingual Jolie!
As for Angelina?s premiere look? sigh. If you see her on the red carpet in just the silver Givenchy dress, you?re like? oh, Angie, why in the world did you wear black pumps with that dress?? It makes more sense when you realize that she wore a black cape over the dress outside of the venue. Angelina also changed into a slouchy black pantsuit after she walked the carpet. She probably should have just worn that to the premiere. As for the Givenchy? it?s okay. That?s her style, and she loves silvers, greys and black. My queendom to see her wear turquoise or violet!

Going from memory, last night was the second time in the past year where Margot Robbie showed up to a premiere half-naked, then stood awkwardly next to her full-clothed male costar. Inevitably, the guy looks like an idiot for trying to serve face while Margot?s ass is hanging out. You can see the guys try to offer Margot their coat or their protection and she always refuses. So it was last night at the London premiere of Wuthering Heights (the quotes are part of the title). Margot wore a corseted and mostly sheer Dilara Findikoglu gown.
It?s impossible to discuss the gown without discussing the inspiration for the gown. Apparently, Margot got permission to borrow Charlotte Bronte?s bracelet. It?s a piece of Victorian mourning jewelry, with an amethyst set on a strap constructed from Emily Bronte and Anne Bronte?s hair (Emily wrote Wuthering Heights, Charlotte wrote Jane Eyre). Charlotte survived both of her sisters, and so she had their hair finely braided and turned into a custom jewelry piece. Vogue claims that the bracelet is a replica, but other outlets say that Margot wore the real bracelet, so I have no idea. It?s being said that Dilara Findikoglu designed the dress around the bracelet, and it appears as if the gown is adorned in hair-like twine as well. Beyond bracelet (which may or may not be authentic), Margot also wore pieces from the Boucheron archives and some newer pieces from Jessica McCormack. Margot?s stylist Andrew Mukumal is absolutely insane. It was raining at the premiere as well! I would have been so worried about water damage on those archival pieces. And if Im being honest, the whole look all together is giving Xena Warrior Princess rather than Wuthering Heights.
What else? Jacob Elordi looked fine in all-grey. I?m not wild about his facial hair these days, but whatever. He?s fine. He was pretty concerned about Margot as well, it looked like he was trying to keep her warm and protect her from the rain. Charli XCX was there too (she did the music) she wore a bridal Erdem look.

A consistent criticism of many current actresses is that they simply look too ?modern? for any kind of period drama. That?s especially true of many American actresses, and I would argue that British actresses tend to look more period-piece ready (think Kiera Knightley, Mia Goth, Anya Taylor Joy, Olivia Colman, Helen Mirren, etc). There?s always a social media discourse about ?Instagram Face,? as in? if you look like a filtered Instagram influencer, you?re probably not going to get cast in a Jane Austen adaptation. I often think this discourse is unfair to actresses because people are projecting their own bullsh-t unto who can and cannot ?pull off? a period role or period costume.
Well, all that being said, I think the ?too modern for period drama? discourse is completely fair in Margot Robbie?s case. She looks like what she is: a modern woman, a 21st century blonde who grew up on an Australian beach. Every clip or glimpse I?ve seen from Wuthering Heights just shows that Margot was badly miscast as Cathy. I would even argue that Jacob Elordi comes close to pulling off Heathcliff (minus the whitewashing controversy), and that Jacob actually has that thing where he looks convincing in period pieces and period costume. But not Margot.
I bring this up because of these photos from the Paris premiere of Wuthering Heights. Margot has been trying to wear Wuthering-themed dresses and style herself with a mid-19th-century vibe for the premieres and it?s not working!! My God, it?s really not working. Margot?s dress here is a custom Chanel, and I assume it was customized to have a 19th century feel. She also wore a Lorraine Schwartz diamond necklace with over 100 carats. Sigh.
It looks like real reviews of WH have been embargoed until closer to the release, but I keep seeing tweets from people who have seen some early screenings and they?re mostly disappointed rather than shocked and turned on.

Motor racing ace Lewis Hamilton is dating US reality star Kim Kardashian, The Sun can reveal. The mum-of-four and Brit seven-time F1 world champ enjoyed an intimate dinner and a couple?s massage as part of a romantic weekend getaway in the country. US reality star Kim, 45, flew in from Los Angeles on her 100million private jet to spend an evening with British F1 hero Lewis, 41. She arrived with a mountain of luggage for her brief stay at the exclusive Estelle Manor in the Cotswolds, with three bodyguards protecting the couple.
Insiders said they were granted exclusive use of the posh spa at the country club in Witney, Oxfordshire, before having a meal in a private room.
A source told The Sun: ?It all appeared to be very romantic. Kim and Lewis made use of all the facilities on offer. She had two bodyguards with her and Lewis had a close protection officer but they remained in the background. Two of the three stood guard outside the door to their room, so no one could disturb them.?
Seven-times world champion Lewis has known Kim for years, and was close to her rapper ex Kanye West. However the pair have never been romantically linked.
Mum-of-four Kim touched down on Saturday afternoon at Oxford Airport, where two cars ? one for her luggage ? were waiting to make the nine-minute journey to Estelle Manor. An hour later, Lewis, who drives for Italian team Ferrari, arrived at the Grade II-listed property by helicopter, chartered from London?s Battersea Heliport.
An onlooker told The Sun: ?Kim?s arrival was very low-key. She was flanked by two bodyguards and was whisked inside. An hour later, around 4pm, Lewis landed in a helicopter and walked inside where other guests were mingling around.?
Insiders said the couple shared a room in the main part of the house, which sits in 85 acres of land. They also had exclusive use of the spa and pool in the evening before an intimate dinner for two.
A source added: ?They had a couple?s massage booked in and had full use of the facilities for just the two of them. It was all kept very quiet ? they clearly wanted to have some time for just the two of them. In the evening, they had dinner in a private room so they didn?t have other guests around. Estelle Manor is an incredible place to have a date, it?s so luxurious and glamorous.?
However social media regular Kim shared nothing from her time at the hotel ? where rooms cost upwards of 1,000 a night ? while Lewis also failed to post any updates. Yesterday morning, he was spotted using the gym and walking through the grounds in an oversized grey tracksuit with the hood up. The pair checked out at around 11am and left together in the two cars which had taken Kim from the airport.

You know what? Good for her. Good for both of them? F1 fans are having meltdowns, but I?m fine with this? They?re both in their 40s, they?re both single, they were both trying to be discreet about it. I guess the drama for the F1 girls is that Kim is sort of a famewhore? It?s true, she is. But she has gotten slightly better about it. Anyway, I hope they had a nice time.

Last night, Wuthering Heights premiered in LA. This is Emerald Fennell?s adaptation, and it?s beyond clear that this is not a faithful adaptation of the novel. It?s also beyond obvious that the casting for Cathy and Heathcliff is? not great. But I?m sure a lot of women will see it and enjoy it, and that?s nice. I?m trying to balance ?it?s nice for filmmakers to make movies for a specifically female audience? versus ?wow, this movie looks like a pile of garbage.?
Margot Robbie wore a rather spectacular Schiaparelli gown for the premiere this is a big statement dress, and while it?s not what I would have chosen for her, it?s going to get so much attention from the fashion blogs. What was even more interesting than the dress was Margot?s choice in jewelry. She borrowed pieces from Lorainne Schwartz and Fred Leighton. She also got to borrow an extremely special necklace from Elizabeth Taylor?s estate. This is the Cartier Taj Mahal necklace given to Elizabeth Taylor by Richard Burton for her 40th birthday. It?s featured in Taylor?s incredible coffee table book, My Love Affair with Jewelry. It was one of her favorite pieces.
Charli XCX did the music for the film, and she?s been involved in the promotion too. She wore a custom Vivienne Westwood dress to the premiere she loves Westwood, and I feel like she?s more ?on theme? than Margot.

I?m not sure if anyone will care about this other than me, but this gossip bummed me out. In late 2023, there were rumors that Bella Hadid was seeing a low-key non-celebrity. The gossip turned out to be true, and by early 2024, Bella had moved to Fort Worth, Texas and she was cohabitating with her horse trainer/equestrian boyfriend Adan Banuelos. For two years, Bella actually seemed to get away from the model grind, enjoying some semblance of a normal life, living out all of her horse girl dreams with her boyfriend. Well, it?s apparently over. The relationship, that is. I have no idea if she plans on continuing to live in Texas.
Bella Hadid and professional equestrian Adan Banuelos have reportedly called it quits after two years together. The supermodel, 28, and Banuelos, a well-known horse trainer on the competitive circuit, are said to have ended their romance recently, according to Entertainment Tonight.
A source told ET that Hadid is taking the breakup hard, describing the end of their relationship as emotionally significant given how committed the relationship had become.
Shes still processing it, the insider said, adding that the pairs bond had been very serious.
According to the source, Hadid has been leaning into her work and surrounding herself with close friends to distract herself from the split. Despite the reports, the former couple are still following each other on Instagram.
The former couple first sparked dating rumors in October 2023, when they were spotted together in Texas. At the time, Hadid was frequently seen attending rodeo events and spending extended time in the state.

I looked through her Instagram to see if she was still spending time in Texas, and it looks like even as recently as three or four weeks ago, she was still attending Adan?s events. But? this breakup coincides with Bella?s promotion for The Beauty, a Ryan Murphy-produced horror series. It would not surprise me at all if Bella spent two years in Texas and decided that, actually, she likes to work and she would rather spend more time in New York and LA. That?s just my theory, I have no idea. I also wonder if she thought they would end up getting married and he wasn?t into it. Once again, that?s just a theory. Two years is a long time to spend in Texas to nurture a relationship without a ring to show for it, I?m just saying.

I have no memory of this happening, but I?m sure I heard about it at the time? So, back in 2017, Quentin Tarantino was casting for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Tarantino famously has a great eye for casting, and he was trying to find his ?Sharon Tate.? The casting allegedly came down between Jennifer Lawrence and Margot Robbie. Margot got the job, although as it turned out, Sharon Tate was not some major role/character in the film. Well, why didn?t Tarantino choose J-Law for Tate? According to Jen, it?s because Tarantino was convinced that Jennifer wasn?t ?pretty enough? for the role.
Jennifer Lawrence claimed she lost out on the role of Sharon Tate in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood because of criticism of her looks. Back in 2017, fans were agog at the news that Quentin Tarantino was making a movie involving the Manson murders, and rumors started flying that he was trying to choose between Lawrence and Margot Robbie to play Tate.
Tates sister Debra broke her silence on the matter, flatly declaring Lawrence was not pretty enough for the part and that she would prefer Robbie. Tarantino eventually did select Robbie, amid a cast that included Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margaret Qualley, Dakota Fanning and Austin Butler.
Now Lawrence, 35, has shared her own memory of how the situation unfolded, saying Tarantino did want her for the part and then everybody was like: Shes not pretty enough to play Sharon Tate, during a recent event for 92NY.
Thats not true, said interviewer Josh Horowitz, to which Lawrence replied: Im pretty sure it is true, or its that thing where Ive been telling that story this way for so long that I believe it, but Im pretty sure that happened.
The Hunger Games actress added: Or he just never was considering me for the part and the internet just went out of their way to call me ugly.
Back in 2017, when speculation was rife that Lawrence was up for the role of Tate in Tarantinos film, Debra went viral for pouring cold water on the idea. Shes not pretty enough to play Sharon, Debra famously pronounced in an interview with TMZ. My pick would be Margot simply because of her physical beauty and even the way she carries herself is similar to Sharon.

It?s true that Margot looks more like Sharon Tate, and it?s also true that at that moment of both Margot and Jennifer?s careers, Margot was a better fit for a supporting role in a Tarantino movie. Jennifer would have been more of a distraction, because she was SO ubiquitous at that time. It didn?t have anything to do with Jennifer not being ?pretty enough? Jen is beautiful, but yeah, Margot looked more like Sharon Tate. Still, it was rude as hell for Sharon Tate?s sister to say that about Jen, and I don?t blame Jen for nursing that insult and believing it was the reason why she didn?t get the part.

They got married in 2019, and they welcomed their first son in February 2022. Jen gave birth to their second son last year. She?s very much in the zone of having two kids under the age of four. Which I think influences how she talks about her career and explains why she just referred to herself as a stay-at-home mother.
Jennifer Lawrence might be one of Hollywoods most elite actresses, but she still considers herself a stay-at-home mom. The Die, My Love actress, 35, appeared on a Monday, Jan. 12 episode of the SmartLess podcast and shared that she thinks of herself as a stay-at-home mom rather than a working actor. Lawrence is mom to sons Cy, 3, and a second baby, whose name has not yet been revealed, with husband Cooke Maroney.
Thats me. I identify as a stay-at-home mom, Lawrence said on the podcast. But I am obviously working.
Im not used to being busy like this. I normally have a busy three months while Im filming, but even in that sense, its calm because there is nothing else to do, she continued. I just go to work, I do that, I come home, I sleep, and then I do it again. And then, like, two weeks while you promote. It is hectic.
She also shared insight on her co-parenting relationship with Maroney, whom she described as the opposite of her.
I married somebody who is the opposite of me. He is so organized. Hes an anchor, said the actress. Everything is ordered. I have to keep the closet doors closed, and I have my little jobs that I work really hard to do.
I get it now, I get it. [The kids are] on a very strict schedule. You know, its like breakfast: 7:30, explained Lawrence. Hes good at keeping it. But weve learned [that] to keep our marriage alive, I have a 15-minute wiggle room.

I understand what she?s saying, and again, she mostly has been a SAHM in recent years. Since 2020, she?s only acted in four films. Do actual SAHMs feel like Jennifer shouldn?t call herself that though? Like, is it stolen SAHM valor? Is it middle-class cosplay from a rich, Oscar-winning actress? I don?t feel like it is, but maybe I?m just not seeing the controversy. I might be wrong, please let me know.
