Last year, Reese Witherspoon came in for some criticism. There was significant backlash to some comments she made in a magazine interview. Regarding AI, Reese said in part: ?It?s so, so important that women are involved in AI because it will be the future of filmmaking. And you can be sad and lament it all you want, but the change is here.? Keep in mind, her union (SAG-AFTRA) had recently gone on strike and fought a huge battle with Hollywood to limit the use of AI in filmmaking, citing the need to hire actual flesh-and-blood actors. Reese came across as sort of blithely tone-deaf at best. Well, Reese is doubling-down.
Reese Witherspoon is again advising her followers that there?s no time like the present to start learning about and using artificial intelligence in their daily lives and workplaces.
?The Morning Show? star posted on Instagram Wednesday doubling down on earlier remarks that women need to become familiar with AI tools.
?Well?I?ve decided it?s TIME,? she wrote. ?The AI revolution has begun, and I need to learn as much as I possibly can about AI and share it with all of you. Also, FYI: the jobs women hold are 3x more likely to be automated by AI, yet women are using AI at a rate 25% lower than men on average. We don?t want to be left behind. So?do you want to learn with me??
Actress Kerry Washington commented on the post, writing, ?THIS? in agreement. But other commenters were not as upbeat, pointing out their concerns about the environmental impact of the technology and the impact of data centers on communities.
Some commenters speculated that her upbeat advice sounded like it must be some sort of launch for a company or service utilizing AI.

It absolutely sounds like Reese is about to launch something

| | Drew Barrymore: 'I don't wanna wear a bra' I?m over it & I don't care anymore' | | Added 16 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

I know Drew Barrymore isn?t everyone?s flavor, but I enjoy many of the subjects she brings up on her talk show. I feel like her bubbly-TMI personality actually helps facilitate some important conversations about dating, aging, menopause and more. And now she?s crossing into a subject I care about deeply: bras and what to do with your girls. A few years ago, there was a tweet from a big-busted woman who referred to herself as a ?big-rig hauler.? That?s how I feel too, that I?m a big-rig hauler and I have to be conscious to always wear a bra when I go out. Now, as I get older? My rules have changed a little bit. For weekends, I basically ONLY wear a bra when I?m leaving the house, and I whip that puppy off as soon as I step inside. But my rule is: during the week, while I work from home, I need to wear a bra. Well, Drew is no longer wearing bras even when she?s at work. She?s starting wearing leotards in place of bras. Tell me more!!
Drew Barrymore is sharing her unfiltered thoughts about bras. The actress and host, 51, revealed that shes over the clothing item while speaking with comedian Chris Fleming during the April 14 episode of The Drew Barrymore Show.
Im wearing a weird leotard right now, Barrymore said as she opened her button-down shirt, exposing the beige-colored undergarment. I wear this thing cause I dont wanna wear a bra because Im over a bra. Im too old, and I wont wear one.
She continued, I dont care if these sausages fall down to my knees. I just, Im over it, and I dont care anymore.
Barrymore recently got emotional when talking about her body insecurities after welcoming her two children, Olive, 13, and Frankie, 11.
During a segment called Scared to Wear on the Monday, April 6, episode of her show, a viewer had a makeover after struggling with self-image when they lost a lot of weight, and Barrymore said she empathized with where the viewer, Dawn, was coming from.
?The other day I was walking down the street, and I?ve had two C-Sections, and I?m so wrecked down there,? Barrymore told Dawn while tearing up. ?I can?t wear a lot of different types of pants,? she continued. But the other day I was walking around, and I had this shorter shirt on, and I couldn?t keep my jacket closed. And I was walking around like ?I don?t want anyone to see this. And I so get when you have kids, and you have a busy life, and your body changes and you get older, and things just aren?t the same. I totally get it,? Barrymore concluded, adding that viewer Dawn looked ?so stunning? in her new look.
[From People]
The thing is, I?m pretty sure a leotard would bug me more than a bra. Like, it would just flatten everything out and give me one big unaboob and I would feel like an amorphous blob. That?s the same reason I stopped wearing sports bras too I hate the ?flattening/blob? effect. I just wear my regular underwire bras while walking or working out now and it?s much more comfortable for me. But yeah? braless at home, in general. Gotta let the big-rig breathe!!

This week, whenever a positive headline or story comes out about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex?s Australian tour, I?ve been turning the tables on the deranged narrative and suggesting that ?plates are being smashed in Anmer Hall? or ?you can hear the glasses shattering in Buckingham Palace.? Honestly, though, I?ve been surprised by how muted one royal office has been in particular this week. Historically, whenever Prince Harry and Meghan are getting attention and positive press, Kensington Palace and ?sources close to Prince William? can?t rage-shriek loud enough about how William despises his brother and ?no more titles!!? when Scooter King is on the throne, etc. My guess is that the absence of those stories has more to do with Prince William and Kate?s leisurely spring break, where they cannot work at all, not even to instruct their staff about an anti-Sussex briefing campaign. Their laziness defeated their rage in a head-to-head match-up. Still, someone made sure to announce that Kate would be out two weekends from now:
Kate Middleton and Princess Anne will take part in an important Australian and New Zealand holiday later this month. On Wednesday, April 15, Buckingham Palace announced that the royal duo will attend services commemorating Anzac Day on Saturday, April 25. The annual holiday honors members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC), including commemorating those who have lost their lives in conflict.
Princess Anne, 75, will begin the day with an early morning service at the Wellington Arch in Hyde Park Corner. Princess Kate, 44, will then attend a wreath-laying ceremony and a parade at the Cenotaph war memorial later that day, followed by the Service of Commemoration and Thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey.
The Princess of Wales is expected to lay a wreath at the Cenotaph on behalf of King Charles. The subsequent Westminster Abbey service will include readings from the New Zealand and Australian High Commissioners, prayers read by children from each country and a performance of a M?ori waiata (song).
The British royals are regular attendees at Anzac Day services, as Australia and New Zealand are both members of the Commonwealth. In 2023, Prince William attended the early morning Dawn Service at the Wellington Arch, where he laid a wreath and signed the book of remembrance.
Princess Kate joined him in 2022 for the Service of Commemoration and Thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey. And in 2021, Princess Anne represented the royal family at the Westminster Abbey service for Anzac Day after the event was canceled in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The announcement of Princess Kate and Princess Annes Anzac Day plans came as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle continue their trip to the continent this week.
[From People]
Announced in the middle of the Sussexes? tour, it?s too funny. ?Don?t forget about meeeee, I can celebrate Australia toooooo.? What?s crazy is it really has been four damn years since Kate has done anything for Anzac Day. William hasn?t done anything for Anzac Day since 2023! Last year, Princess Anne and Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, were tasked with these appearances. In 2024, it was just Prince Edward marking the occasion. Back in the day, Anzac Day used to draw a bigger royal crowd, but of course, that was when Prince Harry regularly took on these events, and he brought Meghan too. I would argue that these are events for Prince William, especially given that he?s going to be ?King of Australia and New Zealand? one day. But whatever it?s obvious that William is being sidelined or ignored on purpose.

| | Scarlett Johansson: Being 20-something in the early 2000s was 'a really harsh time' | | Added 17 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Scarlett Johansson appeared on CBS Sunday Morning this past weekend, and she ended up talking about the early ?00s and what it was like to ?come of age? in front of the whole world. She?s 41, born in November 1984. Scarlett was often held up as an example of a child actor who successfully transitioned into an adult career, but I also remember how much attention she received when she was in her teens and early 20s. It?s gross to think back on the cultural discourse when she was, like, 18 or 19, and before she even really knew herself.
Scarlett Johansson is revisiting how life as a famous person felt in the 2000s when she was a teenager and in her early 20s. Johansson, 41, sat down for an interview on CBS Sunday Morning April 12 to discuss her new skincare line, The Outset, and her decades-long career as an actor. It was such another time, too, she said, when asked if she believed the public was a little too focused on [her] looks when she was a young woman.
I think growing up in the entertainment industry and being 20 something years old in the early 2000s, being a 20-year-old woman in the early 2000s in the spotlight, I think in general it was just a really harsh time, Johansson said. I think women were just pulled apart for how they looked in a way that was socially acceptable at the time and it was tough. There was a lot placed on how women looked and what was offered at that time for women my age as far as acting roles or opportunities, it was much slimmer than it is now.
Johansson made her screen acting debut in a 1994 episode of Late Night with Conan OBrien and appeared in a number of movies as a child star in the 90s and early 2000s. She broke out as a major Hollywood star when she and Bill Murray costarred in Sofia Coppolas 2003 movie, Lost in Translation, and has remained one of the most popular (and highest-grossing) actors in the movie industry for the last two decades.
I think theres much more empowering roles available to young actors now than when I was in my 20s, she added in the interview. It was slim pickins, I would say.
Johansson said on CBS Sunday Morning that she felt young actresses would get really pigeonholed in that time period and offered roles like the other woman, or the side piece, the bombshell.
That was an archetype that there was just a lot of when I was that age, she added. It was kind of tricky to navigate around that because there was a lot more that I wanted to do, and I found that doing theatre in New York was a great way to work different muscles and get out of that pattern.
[From People]
There were slim pickins? for young actresses in that time, but Scarlett wouldn?t know because she and Natalie Portman were offered pretty much all of the best roles for 20-somethings back then. It?s when both women hit their late 20s and early 30s that it felt like there was a real dearth of quality roles for women in general, which led to some crazy statements from Scarlett. It?s crazy to think about how many good films Scarlett was in before she was even 27 years old. As for the early ?00s? I give the Millennials a lot of credit for moving the discourse away from the grossness of that era.

| | Nicole Kidman is learning how to become a death doula after her mom's passing | | Added 18 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

If I made you guess which celebrity was studying to become a death doula, you could probably come up with like a dozen solid candidates, right? There are many celebrities who give off a certain energy of ?maybe I?ll become a death doula.? We?ve even heard about one celebrity who is already a death doula Riley Keough spoke about that part of her life a few years ago in an interview. In case you don?t know, a ?death doula? is someone focused on the emotional/psychological aspects of palliative care and end-of-life care. The doula will talk to the person at the end of their life and help facilitate communications, last wishes and funeral arrangements. Well, after losing her mother in September 2024, Nicole Kidman has decided to become a death doula.
Nicole Kidman has a new career in mind. The actress, 58, shared that shes learning to become a death doula during a talk at the University of San Franciscos War Memorial Gym on Saturday, April 11, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
Speaking to investigative journalist and USF graduate Vicky Nguyen as part of the schools Silk Speaker Series, she explained that the idea may sound a little weird, but that her plans first came about after her mother, Janelle Ann Kidman, died aged 84 in September 2024.
As my mother was passing, she was lonely, and there was only so much the family could provide, Kidman told attendees, via the Chronicle. The Holland actress has four children, while her younger sister Antonia Kidman, 55, has six.
She continued, Between my sister and I, we have so many children and our careers and our work, and wanting to take care of her because my father wasnt in the world anymore, and thats when I went, ?I wish there was these people in the world that were there to sit impartially and just provide solace and care.
So thats part of my expansion and one of the things I will be learning.
Death doulas, also known as end-of-life doulas, provide support to people and their loved ones toward the end of life. Per the International End-of-Life Doula Association, An end-of-life doula advocates self-determination and imparts psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and practical care to empower dignity throughout the dying process.
[From People]
If you?ve had experiences with loved ones in end-of-life care, you know that death doulas already exist in other forms, under different names. It?s not some hippie-dippy thing, it?s a real part of palliative care with many organizations. There are not only doctors and nurses involved, but therapists and social worker-types as well. As for Nicole, even without her confirmation, I would have predicted that she would be interested in this kind of thing.

In the wake of the 2020 election, I thought the national media had finally learned how to stand up to Donald Trump?s pathetic rants and conspiracies. Certainly after January 6th, I thought we had turned the page. But I was wrong the media played a major role in undermining Joe Biden and rehabilitating Trump in the public consciousness. The mainstream media is still, by and large, addicted to the unhinged drama Trump provides and the easy access they get from him and his batsh-t crazy cronies. All of this to say, it says something about the state of American journalism when Megyn ?Santa is White? Kelly is speaking out more forcibly on Donald Trump than Jake Tapper or David Muir. Just two months ago, Megyn was wailing about the need for an all-white Super Bowl Halftime show, but even she can?t stomach Trump?s bullsh-t.
Conservative commentator Megyn Kelly on Tuesday railed against President Trump?s social media posts, including his statement earlier Tuesday threatening to kill a ?whole civilization? if the Strait of Hormuz was not reopened.
Trump paused the large-scale strikes on Tuesday for two weeks after Pakistan requested a deadline extension. The three parties are now working toward a longer ceasefire agreement and a U.S.-Iran ?joint venture? to reopen the shipping choke point with a toll fee.
?I don?t know about you, but I am sick of this s???! I?m just ? I?m sick of it. Can?t he just behave like a normal human? I mean, honestly, like the president ? ?3D chess? ? just shut up,? Kelly said on her weekly podcast, ?The Megyn Kelly Show.?
?But this is completely irresponsible and disgusting. This is wrong. It?s wrong. He should not be doing it. I don?t care that it?s ? his negotiation tactic is to kill an entire country full of civilians ? men, women, and children ? an American president, so that the Strait of Hormuz will be opened? It?s just wrong,? she told listeners.
?He can?t be a dignified, strong leader without threatening a bunch of war crimes?? Kelly added.
[From The Hill]
If this isn?t bad enough, Kelly also appeared on Piers Morgan?s YouTube show and ripped into Trump again, calling him gullible, weak, and easily ?bamboozled? by Benjamin Netanyahu. Has something shifted? Probably not. Megyn Kelly isn?t any kind of political-media bellwether at this point. But it does feel notable that between Megyn Kelly and Joe Rogan, even right-wing grifter types have turned on Trump.
?I am sick of this sh*t. Can?t he just behave like a normal human?? Megyn Kelly completely unleashes on Trump, and it?s brutal. pic.twitter.com/i9BkvoVHIn

Last night was the big premiere event for Euphoria?s long-awaited Season 3. I don?t watch or care about Euphoria, but I?m interested in all of the gossip around this show. Basically, every actor has fallen out with Euphoria creator Sam Levinson and everyone sort of acknowledges that Season 3 will be and should be the last one. Zendaya is simply too famous for this nonsense anymore. Same with Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer and Jacob Elordi. Still, the cast showed up for the premiere. I would assume they were all contractually obligated to do so.
Fashion notes? Zendaya wore a halter gown by Ashi Studio. She didn?t even get a custom look from her personal sponsor Louis Vuitton for this maybe LV didn?t want to be associated with Euphoria. The gown is fine but I loathe when halter gowns are cut that way in the bust. It?s too narrow, and even small-chested women are going to be worried about one of their girls popping out. Sydney Sweeney wore an archival 2007 Pierre Cardin which I absolutely HATE on her. The combination of the short skirt with the built-in cape throws off her proportions and makes her look absurdly top-heavy. I mean, yes, she?s naturally top-heavy, but this is giving her a ?linebacker shoulder? effect. Hunter Schafer wore Acne Studios, which looks like vintage Versace to me.
Anyway, enjoy what will almost definitely be Euphoria?s final season! These actors are never coming back to these characters.

The sad truth is that literacy is declining overall in the US, and even when people can sort of read, they completely lack media literacy. They don?t understand what they?re reading or they aren?t able to understand the context of it. I?ve seen this play out with the release of the Epstein Files, the majority of which are emails and texts to and from Jeffrey Epstein. Instead of reading and understanding the actual context of who is saying what, too many people are just looking at the names of ?who appears in the Epstein files.? Like, Barack Obama?s name is in the files, but that?s because Epstein and his associates fking hated Obama and they were constantly bitching about him. Well, Gigi Hadid?s name also ?appears in the files.? Instead of looking at the context in which Gigi and Bella?s names appear, some idiot commented on Gigi?s Instagram that they ?had to unfollow? her because of it. Gigi responded:
Gigi Hadid is breaking her silence on a sensitive matter. The supermodel spoke out about the Jeffrey Epstein-

Four major premieres for The Drama, and four major looks for Zendaya. Zendaya and her stylist Law Roach decided to keep on a strict wedding theme and go for something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue for all of the premiere looks. Old = a Vivienne Westwood gown from Zendaya?s archives. New = a new, structured, white Louis Vuitton. Borrowed = Zendaya borrowed a famous Armani gown from Cate Blanchett?s personal archives. And now, finally, we?re getting blue.
Last night, at a big NYC screening for The Drama, Zendaya wore an electric blue (and black) Schiaparelli gown. She accessorized with blue eye makeup and blue jewels from Tiffany & Co. Those are feathers, by the way. That?s not an optical illusion, those are electric blue feathers on the corseted bodice. Y?all know that I?m rarely down with Schiaparelli, but this is a solid and interesting look. I also enjoy the fact that Zendaya?s Louis Vuitton isn?t structured in a way where she HAS to wear LV on every red carpet. That was one of my big concerns about Z signing up for that brand ambassadorship, that she would be stuck wearing LV 24-7.
I?m also including photos of Zendaya?s after-party look, which was also blue, or navy to be exact. JustJared thinks this look is from Di Petsa. It?s really cute and sexy!
