Marty Supreme was completely shut out of the Oscars, after being nominated in nine categories. It was glorious! God, I loathed that movie. While I have to emphasize that I?m not a Timothee Chalamet hater by any stretch of the imagination, I was actively rooting against him in Best Actor and I was so pleased that Michael B. Jordan ended up winning that Oscar. Timothee once again avoided walking the Oscar red carpet with his girlfriend/partner of three years Kylie Jenner. But they must have said ?fk it? for the afterparties, because they happily posed for coupled-up photos at the Vanity Fair party.
Kylie Jenner wore Schiaparelli for the Oscars, a slinky red dress with a ?literal? boob-keyhole. She wanted to look like Jessica Rabbit but the actual effect of it was so? downmarket. It was giving ?failed game-show hostess.? For the afterparties, Kylie changed into a custom Alexander McQueen dress. Timothee apparently wore Givenchy suits to both the Oscars and the afterparties. Hey, at least they look happy-ish at the VF party, I guess. It?s time for Chalamet?s team to go back to the drawing board and figure out a better way to present him if he ever goes through another awards season. A public apology and/or acknowledgement that he was talking out of his ass about ballet and opera is probably needed here as well.

On Thursday, Zendaya attended the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon. It was a major pre-Oscar event, with Oscar nominees like Wunmi Mosaku and Zinzi Coogler (Ryan Coogler?s wife and producing partner) in attendance, as well as superstars past, present and future like Kerry Washington and Chase Infiniti. Obviously, Zendaya got the most attention. Her appearance at the Louis Vuitton show earlier this week was the first time she had been outside in months, or at least that?s what it felt like. And the LV appearance was also the first time she came outside since her stylist Law Roach announced that Z and Tom Holland had already gotten married. Well, at the Essence luncheon, it seems like everyone offered congratulations on the wedding. Not only that, it does seem like Zendaya is wearing her wedding band everywhere now.
Zendaya might have just confirmed her marriage to Tom Holland amid rumors that they tied the knot in private. Zendaya was playfully put on the spot at Essences Black Women in Hollywood Awards on Thursday, March 12 by host and Black-ish star Marsai Martin. Martin called out her ?cousin? Zendaya, and said Zendaya doesnt play about her private life, while still asking the Euphoria star, 29, to ?give me a sign.
A source tells PEOPLE Zendaya was overheard accepting well wishes from fellow attendees at the event.
Zendaya bashfully showed off what appeared to be her wedding band to the camera, and was met with applause from the audience. Zendaya attended the Los Angeles event in a white flower-adorned Eugene Alexander minidress that Sarah Jessica Parker famously wore in the 2008 Sex and the City movie. The dress history stretches back to a longer version that Whitney Houston wore in the late 1980s, per Vogue.
On Tuesday, March 10, Zendaya was seen wearing a thin gold ring on her left hand as she posed for photos at the Louis Vuitton fashion show while clasping her hands in front of her waist and tucking her hair behind her ears. Her engagement ring was notably absent from her left hand, while the rest of her silver rings appeared to match.

Yeah, I think it happened. Zendaya doesn?t play about her private life and Tom Holland doesn?t play about Zendaya. Tom was like, no, this needs to happen as soon as possible in any way my lady wants. Nicole Kidman is currently promoting Prime?s Scarpetta, based on the Kay Scarpetta books by Patricia Cornwell. Currently, I?m debating whether to watch it. Reasons to watch it: I like Nicole and I know she really believes in this, and I like a crime/procedural story. Reasons not to watch it: I don?t really like coroner/medical examiner shows and Jamie Lee Curtis is in it. Let me know! Anyway, Nicole covers the latest issue of Variety and she?s talking Scarpetta, her history at the Oscars, the long-awaited Practical Magic sequel and, oh right, her divorce from Keith Urban. Some highlights:
Every year is the year of Kidman: ?Well, not last year. I was quiet. I had other things going on. I was in my shell. Now I?m in a place of saying, ?2026. Here we go.? I have ?Practical Magic? with Sandy. I?ll be in full witch mode.
Wearing John Galliano at the 1997 Oscars: ?Well, it ignited European couture for the carpet. It was never like that before. The clothes were nice, but the idea of combining the couture houses with something as prestigious as the Oscars? That?s just a given now. What comes out of that is those dream images that little girls look at ? or people try to find versions of it for their lives? I remember being nervous because of the color, and then seeing Madonna that night and she said, ?Best dress!? All I could say back was ?You smell so good.? She did. She had the softest skin. You know who else smells so good? Rihanna. Intoxicating. I sat next to her at the Met.?
The Oscar campaign process when she was nominated for Moulin Rouge: ?It was very different then. There wasn?t much to do. It got more and more intense throughout the years. I don?t really remember there being much with ?The Hours.? There were a few Q&As, but it wasn?t a lot. Now it starts in September and finishes in March. If you do Cannes, it starts in May. Like, what? How did that happen??
Winning the Oscar in 2003, right after the US invaded Iraq: ?Well, it wasn?t just the days before the Oscars ? it was throughout that whole period. I remember at the BAFTAs that year, we all wore black. It was a dampened-down ceremony, appropriately so. But there was still an incredible embracing of art and continuing the show in line with the legacy of Hollywood.
On the idea that she won the Oscar for ?uglying up? with a fake nose: ?Whatever. People are always going to say whatever. The performance was there. Ann Roth, Stephen Daldry and David Hare all agreed they wanted Virginia to have a different profile than mine. My profile is very distinct, and it needed to be different. I have a very particular nose. I like when I?m able to change up my appearance, as someone trained to be a character actor. Some people are employed to look and be exactly themselves. I?ve been trained as a character actor, so therefore when I?m working, I?m not here to be Nicole. On a talk show, I am, but not in a film or play or TV show. If that means changing my physical appearance? Of course. You have to walk differently, breathe differently, talk differently. The timbre of your voice has to change. All of the internal mechanisms affect the external.
How she?s doing after her split from Keith: ?I am [doing alright], because I?m always going to be moving toward what?s good. What I?m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward. That?s that. Everything else I don?t discuss out of respect. I?m staying in a place of, ?We are a family,? and that?s what we?ll continue to be. My beautiful girls, my darlings, who are suddenly women.
She gets into an on-screen altercation with JLC in Scarpetta: ?Jamie Lee and I have a physical fight in this show. Sisters go at it. Someone recently told me they could watch us fight until the end of time.?
Why she came back to Practical Magic: ?I love Sandy [Bullock]. I love her. And we?re so different. I?m like [makes a wild noise with her mouth] and she?s so measured and together. We?re like sisters. I have so much protection and love for her. We also have incredible chemistry. We produce differently. She?s incredibly hands-on, and I love delegating. We have different skill sets that become complementary. It?s amazing that we still know each other. Joey King and the new cast are amazing, and Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest are coming back.?
She brought in Susanna Bier to direct Practical Magic 2: ?It?s so good to have?found a purpose in terms of that work, being able to shift something culturally?at a time where you just go, ?Well, yeah, I work a lot, and I?m hoping to be able to give female directors and writers far more of a chance through my own showing up and being in the thing.??And then I also produce when I?m not in them. I love working with men too ? like David Gordon Green on ?Scarpetta,? Osgood [Perkins], obviously Baz Luhrmann. Men?s voices are very distinct. They?re able to edit. They?re able to operate a camera. They love shots. They?re cinephiles, and they?re fantastic to work with because we have the same language.

That last part is a bit cringe women directors know how to edit too, Nicole! Women can operate a camera as well! Jeez. I know she was trying to say: I?m not against working with men, I love male directors too. But it came out the wrong way. It also makes sense that she would sign up for Practical Magic 2 simply because she loves Sandy Bullock. I have something disturbing to announce about PM2: Aidan Quinn isn?t in it!! He didn?t return for the sequel! Crazy. But Lee Pace is in it, hot damn. Anyway, I love how Nicole and her fans reacted to her split from Keith. It was basically a shrug, and ?okay, let?s get back to work, let?s keep booking these projects.? Atta girl.

Almost one year ago exactly, Gwen Stefani?s fans became very concerned that Gwen had gone full MAGA. She released a poorly-received album which seemed shockingly vapid and churchy, and she seemingly went all-in with the evangelical Christians, even becoming a spokesperson for a ?prayer app.? In retrospect, I think Stefani simply became ?born-again,? and here in America, we associate that kind of religious fervor with Republicans and political/moral hypocrisy. Meaning, it?s not that she went ?full MAGA,? it?s that she was surrounding herself with those people in the name of religion. Still, walks like a duck, talks like a duck, etc. Anyway, Gwen recently had a conversation on the Hallow app about her Christianity, praying for a third child and feeling more religious since she married Blake Shelton. Some highlights:
Gwen on meeting Blake: During a conversation with Jeff Cavins on the prayer and meditation app Hallow, the 56-year-old singer spoke about feeling like she had never experienced active love before meeting Blake Shelton, a feeling Cavins also referred to as Christs love. I also experienced active love, I think, for the first time when I met my husband because I had never really received active love. And I dont think I knew how to even receive it. Like, it was just like I would be so uncomfortable when someone was sacrificing or actively trying to love me through their actions by maybe sacrificing something.
On her music & her voice: I always thought it would be very arrogant to say, Oh, this is my gift. This is what I?m talented at. This is what I?m good at. But then I remember at a certain point in the last 10 years going, No. God made me to do this. And if I dont do it and share it, thats a sin. I have to keep doing it. Even if its not through being in a church and talking about it, but just through sharing my story through a song ? even if its a silly song, it says bananas in it, and it makes people happy when they go to college ? whatever it is, that?s what I was made for, I guess. Stefani added that she had to learn to accept that God chose me to do that.
Getting pregnant at 43 with son Apollo: ?I really wanted to have another baby. I really did. I couldn?t and I was old and started talking about all these things?it was waking me up.? Part of it was because her oldest son, Kingston, 8, said he ?really wanted [her] to have a baby,? and Gwen believed she was ?too old? to have one. ?He was like, ?Please God, let my mommy have a baby. I just remember thinking, look at my little boy. He?s praying for me!? she recalled. She said he would pray for her to have one every night despite never being told to do so. ?I never taught him that, really. I think it was four weeks later and I was pregnant with Apollo, who I had at 44 years old, naturally, totally a full-on gift. That was the first miracle.?

From what I know about Gwen?s life and family, I?m pretty sure she was raised Catholic. Possibly a ?cafeteria Catholic,? picking and choosing what she needed from the church. But she used to be much more?secular, I guess is the word I?d use. Like, we knew that she went to church but she didn?t really talk about it and she openly had liberal/Democratic views. It feels like she?s just morphed into what she thinks she needs to be as Blake Shelton?s wife. What?s weird about that is I?m pretty sure Blake isn?t super-religious?? Like, yeah, he?s a country singer, but he?s not like THIS whatsoever? It?s so weird. Oh well, I guess this is who she is now.

While an airport is the last place most of us want to be lately, Ive seen some cute casual style on celebrities at the airport and wanted to break down what theyre wearing. First off Alessandra Ambrosio was looking super cute at So Paulo airport in Brazil in a comfy casual Pink tank and sweatpants paired with a versatile jean jacket. I love a good jean jacket for Spring and have about three a cropped light wash jacket for wearing with dresses, an oversize dark wash jacket and a standard medium wash jacket. Jean jackets are classic staples and go with so many outfits. (Those are not my exact jackets, I collected them over the years.)
Alessandra is wearing a Pink Alo Yoga set. She?s in their straight leg sweatpant in candy pink. I can?t find her exact top but their seamless ribbed favorite bra tank is somewhat close. Their cropped accolade crewneck is also very cute.
Alo Yoga is a little pricey for me. You can get a similar look from Garage Clothing for about 40% cheaper. Their ultrafleece boyfriend sweatpants in pop it Pink are cute! They have the sleek scoop cami top and ribbed scoop cami tops in matching colors. I also really like their ultrafleece hoodie. If youre looking for the ultimate in affordability, here are two options. (While we no longer feature Amazon posts, we may occasionally share Amazon links as affordable alternatives.) Also I believe her tote bag is Saint Laurent. Gap has a striped tote bag thats also nice.
Alessandra is said to be wearing the Alo recovery mode sneaker but those look a little different to the ones on their website. As an alternative I like these Reebok women?s club C double revenge sneakers.
Hailey Bieber looked effortlessly chic at the airport in Sydney in this incredible cropped puffy trench by Magda Butrym. This coat is $3,000 and she likely had it sent to her. Luckily Asos has a similar mid length trench for $119. Joes Jeans Liz cropped trench retails for around $350 and Quince has a more traditional looking short trench for $90.
I dont have an ID on Haileys pants but Spanxs easy flare pants look close. White House Black Market has sharp-looking white stretch pants and Lucky Brands mid rise sweet flares are on sale for $29.99 in limited sizes.
Haileys bag is Chanel. Tory Burch has a drawstring tote thats not quite the same but still gorgeous. Heres an affordable black tote.

Harry Styles & Zoe Kravitz are likely coming up on their one-year couple-anniversary. This time last year, we actually thought Zoe was probably dating Austin Butler, and hey, that might have even been true, but at some point, Zoe and Harry Styles turned this situationship into a real relationship. Are you surprised that they?re still together? I am. It?s the curse of ?two really cool people in a relationship? at some point, cool people stop putting in the effort because they expect their coolness to just allow them to float through life without effort. It takes effort to maintain a relationship for months, I?m just saying.
Anyway, Harry and Zoe were out on Monday in New York. Harry appeared on Saturday Night Live over the weekend, so it looks like he decided to linger in NYC with his girlfriend, who is New York-based. They hit up Chez Margaux for lunch and then they went to Soho House. Zoe?s baseball cap reads ?Kiss,? which is believed to be some promotion for Harry?s new album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.
We?ve heard before that Zoe thinks Harry is her ?soulmate.? I would be curious to know how Harry feels about all of that, but he rarely addresses his romantic life in interviews. This has a vibe of? Harry and Olivia Wilde, actually? We?ll see.

Here are some photos from Monday?s Chanel Fall/Winter show at the Grand Palais in Paris. The show was well-attended, but the attendee-style was pretty meh. Matthieu Blazy took over as Chanel?s creative director in late 2024, and I think Blazy is acting more as a caretaker to the brand, not a revolutionary. In this post, I?m including photos of Oprah (who is super-skinny these days), Teyana Taylor, Eileen Gu (fresh from the Olympics) and Margot Robbie. Teyana is actually showcasing the few changes Blazy has made: more bold prints, and he?s made Chanel much more welcoming to Black celebrities. I wonder if Teyana?s presence at this show means that she?s going to wear Chanel at the Oscars.
But I really wanted to talk about Margot and her hair-change. This is horrible, right? I?m not anti-bob, but the bob combined with ?wet-look hair? and those horrific bangs? my god. The bangs remind me of when she played Tonya Harding!!! She was great in I, Tonya but that?s the style, right?
Incidentally, Margot?s riding high professionally at the moment a victory lap of sorts because her big Wuthering Heights gamble paid off, and WH has now made $213,635,877 worldwide, on what was reportedly a $80 million budget. So, Emerald Fennell?s terrible adaptation made money and there you go. Margot not only starred in it, but she produced it through her amazing production company, LuckyChap. Wuthering Heights made more internationally this past weekend than The Bride, and WH has been out for four weeks.

Apparently, Rihanna was home in Beverly Hills on Sunday afternoon when some madwoman fired shots at the house from an assault rifle. WTF?
A woman fired several shots into the Beverly Hills home of pop star Rihanna on Sunday, and a round penetrated a wall of the mansion, a law enforcement source told The Times.
Los Angeles police responded to the report of the shooting at 1:21 p.m. Sunday, police said, and a 30-year-old female suspect was taken into custody. The pop star was home, the source said.
According to police, the suspect fired multiple rounds from inside her vehicle toward the celebrity?s home in Beverly Hills. No injuries were reported in the incident, according to Police Sgt. Jonathan de Vera, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police department.
The pop star reportedly lives in a colonial-style mansion in the Post Office neighborhood of Beverly Hills with her rapper partner A$AP Rocky. The couple share three young children, daughter and two sons. It wasn?t immediately clear whether anyone else was home at the time of the shooting.

The police are now investigating possible motives. I had no idea Rihanna even lived in Beverly Hills, and I?m not sure it was common knowledge? Ryan Murphy?s Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette is now the most-streamed/watched show in FX?s history. The show has caused a huge boom in interest in all things John & Carolyn. People are so hyped about almost every part of the show, and we all have our fingers crossed that the show doesn?t screw up the final episodes. But? one thing was clear in the early episodes: Love Story?s writers and producers were doing Daryl Hannah dirty. Daryl and John had an off-and-on relationship for years, and there?s some evidence to suggest there was some overlap between the end of John and Daryl and the start of John and Carolyn. Love Story made it seem like Daryl was clinging to John, that she was desperate to marry him, and that she would bring her drugged-out friends to his New York loft. I wondered if Daryl would say something about how Love Story and Dree Hemingway portrayed her, and now Daryl has done so in a New York Times op-ed, ?How Can ?Love Story? Get Away With This?? An excerpt:
I have generally chosen not to respond to media coverage of me. I have long believed that engaging with distortion often amplifies it. But a recent tragedy-exploiting television series about John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette features a character using my name and presents her as me. The choice to portray her as irritating, self-absorbed, whiny and inappropriate was no accident.
In discussing the show, ?Love Story,? one of its producers explained: ?Given how much we?re rooting for John and Carolyn, Daryl Hannah occupies a space where she?s an adversary to what you want narratively in the story.?
Storytelling requires tension. It often requires an obstacle. But a real, living person is not a narrative device. There is also a gendered dimension to this thinking. Popular culture has long elevated certain women by portraying others as rivals, obstacles or villains. Isn?t it textbook misogyny to tear down one woman in order to build up another?
The character ?Daryl Hannah? portrayed in the series is not even a remotely accurate representation of my life, my conduct or my relationship with John. The actions and behaviors attributed to me are untrue. I have never used cocaine in my life or hosted cocaine-fueled parties. I have never pressured anyone into marriage. I have never desecrated any family heirloom or intruded upon anyone?s private memorial. I have never planted any story in the press. I never compared Jacqueline Onassis? death to a dog?s. It?s appalling to me that I even have to defend myself against a television show. These are not creative embellishments of personality. They are assertions about conduct ? and they are false.
When so many people watch a dramatization that uses a real name, real-life consequences follow. In the weeks since the series aired, I have received many hostile and even threatening messages from viewers who seem to believe the portrayal is factual. When entertainment borrows a real person?s name, it can permanently impact her reputation.

She also writes about how she?s valued privacy and discretion always, especially in recent years. Which is true, she does her work and doesn?t seek the spotlight for herself whatsoever. She?s also been remarkably discreet about John during and after their relationship and after his death. What Love Story did to her is not fair at all and I think Daryl is owed a public apology. I?d also like to say: it?s not Dree Hemingway?s fault. Dree plays the ?Daryl? character as written, and I could actually tell that Dree did a lot of work to try to play Daryl as authentically as possible (Dree?s voice work as Daryl is INCREDIBLE). The writers really fked up we would have been rooting for Carolyn anyway, but they chose the cheapest way to tell a false story of John and Daryl?s relationship.
