Three weeks ago, Jennifer Lopez suddenly canceled her planned summer tour. The tour was supposed to be in support of her album This Is Me? Now. The album flopped and the musical and documentary she made about the album were pretty bad too. So bad that J.Lo?s flop era basically hurt her marriage to Ben Affleck, and now they?re sort of separated but working on it. Back when she initially canceled her tour, I said that I hoped Jennifer would spend the summer with Ben and their family, reconnecting and working on their marriage. Well, that?s sort of what she?s planning but they?re not making any mention of Ben??
Jennifer Lopez is planning her summer vacation! The Atlas star, 54, has been making plans to travel, a source tells PEOPLE. Lopez is taking time this summer to be with her children, family and close friends, Live Nation announced on May 31 when she canceled her planned concert tour amid what sources have called strain in her marriage to Ben Affleck.
Lopez has previously taken some epic summer vacations, both with friends and with Affleck. In years past, the couple enjoyed trips to France and Italy over the summer, including during their 2022 honeymoon in Milan and Lake Como and a birthday trip to the celeb-favorite island of Capri.
Lopez has said shes not a big vacation person in general, but has spoken about her love for Italy. When I finally went to spend a couple of summers in a row in the south of Italy, I really, really loved it, she shared in a 2023 interview with Travel + Leisure.

Josh Hartnett stars in M. Night Shyamalans Trap, which comes out in August. Given the buzz and excitement from the trailer, I think it will be another big success for Shyamalan. And for Hartnett, who is sort of going through a career renaissance at the moment. The fact that he?s the lead in a buzzy summer movie is wonderful too! This is what we always wanted for him, the chance to weave in between big, important movies, indie films and popcorn-entertainment. Well, Josh is finally there. It took him several decades, but now he realizes that he can actually do all of that. He recently spoke to Variety about his career and more. Some highlights:
He was so worried that ?Pearl Harbor? would define his career but now he doesn?t care: ?I love my work and I want to put it out there and I want people to enjoy it. But like me, personally, I don?t feel the way that I did when I was younger, because I was undefined. I was 19, 20, 21 years old. So, I was still trying to figure out who I was. Something of that magnitude that everybody knew about and sort of thought of me as the character, had an effect on me that I kicked back against. It was always something that I had to contend with at that age, and I was still trying to figure out what I meant to myself and to people around me. I don?t think that could happen again at the age of 45 ? I hope I?ve got a little bit more there there.?
Working with Christopher Nolan, Raoul Peck, Guy Ritchie and M. Night Shyamalan: ?I love experimentation in film. And these guys are still at the very top of their game in experimenting in film. I?ve never been anti [mainstream films]; I just was anti-paint by numbers. I want to work with people who are, for lack of a better term, artists. I?ve always been able to do that, luckily, but some of those films were not received by the public the same way that I?d hoped, and they were small.?
The Virgin Suicides: He looks back at ?The Virgin Suicides,? noting that at first, it wasn?t a monetary success but became a classic ? ?not a cult classic, a classic,? he points out. ?My hope was for all of these films that they would be able to kind of rise to that level. Some of them are better than others, but I think all were worthy swings.?
Would he do another TV series? ?I would hesitate probably to go back into a full, multi-year series unless it?s really, really good, and it has to be able to evolve. There are worse things than something becoming successful, but if it becomes successful and it?s a single environment or the character doesn?t seem to have much room to grow or fall apart, then you?re stuck. I have ADHD. I?ll lose it.?
Why he signed on to ?Trap?: ?The script was just batsh-t crazy. I was like, ?YES!? The character is wonderful. I can?t say anything about it, because he?ll kill me. But the characters are all wonderfully complex.?
He used to push back hard on the ?heartthrob? label: ?It was never my intention to be a heartthrob?[but it was] the wrong approach to even acknowledge it. I didn?t have the presence of mind to do that because I was so young. It had an effect on me, in which I had to fight against it. I really wanted to be a serious actor. What I didn?t understand is that I was in an amazing position, working with terrific directors on terrific projects. For all intents and purposes, it didn?t matter how people viewed me in tabloids or whatever ? as long as I was working within the industry. But I was too young to really understand that, to make the differentiation.?

I?m glad he?s at a place where he can acknowledge that he sort of screwed up because he was fighting against imaginary ?heartthrob? demons. The man acted as if being seen as someone with pin-up handsomeness was some kind of cross to bear, rather than an opportunity to get in those meetings and audition for those directors. Pretty privilege is real and he felt attacked by his own privilege! But it was also about his age and inexperience too he really felt like he was in the trenches because Michael Bay made him a movie star before he was ready for any of it.

Last fall Glamour Magazine declared that Brooke Shields was in ?Her F?k It Era.? Of course, my takeaway from that article was that overhydrating is your ticket to eating all the potato chips a girl could want. And then heaps more. But I digress? Brooke proved once again this weekend why Glamour got it right. She attended the Tony Awards on Sunday as a presenter, the first since being elected president of Actors? Equity. The only hitch was, she?d had double foot toe surgery three days prior. But no biggie! Brooke had arguably the most comfortable walk on the red carpet, as she posed for photographers proudly showing off the Lay?s chip brand sunshine yellow Crocs that perfectly matched her Monique Lhuillier dress:
Brooke Shields chose to forgo the standard red carpet shoe attire at Sunday?s 2024 Tony Awards ? for good reason.
Ditching the typical high-heels associated with such high-profile events, the actress wore clogs-style Crocs under her yellow dress. The shoes were the same color as her sequined gown. She showed off the shoes to photographers on Sunday night.
?I got my Crocs! I couldn?t do this in heels!? she said in a red carpet interview with People on Sunday.
The reason for the comfort attire? A day before the Tonys, Shields noted on Instagram that she was recovering from ?double foot toe surgery.? The Hollywood Reporter has reached out to her reps for additional information.
It?s not the first time Shields has matched clogs with high fashion. In 2008, she was spotted wearing a long hot-pink gown with matching clogs.
In May, Shields was elected president of the Actors? Equity Association, the union that represents about 51,000 actors and stage managers on Broadway and nationwide.
She beat out Erin Maureen Koster, a stage manager and third vp at Actors? Equity, and Wydetta Carter, an actor who had been serving as Equity?s first vp. Shields will serve a four-year term.
?I promise to lead with strength and compassion, and I will stand up for you and command the respect that we deserve as an acting community,? Shields wrote on Instagram following the vote. ?Also to those who ran, I did not run against you, I ran with you and for you. I look forward to listening to you.?

I do not wear high heels. It?s not a feminist statement, it?s a protest by my feet. There are many heels out there that I think are beautiful and very often complete ?a look.? It?s just that when I attempt movement in them, I look like some unholy mash-up of Humpty Dumpty and a newborn foal. Such is life. Rather than practice and try to improve my gait (because I?ve worn sneakers, my feet won?t stand for the stilt nonsense), I?ve taken the route of biding my time and waiting for the shoe revolution to break out on the red carpet. Our numbers are rising, victory is in sight.
So I wholeheartedly applaud Brooke for wearing Crocs, and I?d stand by that even if she hadn?t just had foot surgery. That being said? Brooke, honey, you know you can jazz up those kicks? They make Crocs for all occasions! Questlove continually ups his Oscars Crocs game with color, embellishments, and crystals. I know the shoe color matched the dress, but this is an awards show; we need more! It could?ve been as easy as some pearls to echo the earrings. Or random cupcakes to harken back to the mysterious dessert-art from her Actors? Equity campaign video. To close by quoting a Sondheim musical: ?So many possibilities??

I remember, years ago, when it felt like every celebrity was drinking and driving. There was like a three-year rash of celebrity DUIs and DWIs. It was legitimately a ?trend? and a horrible one at that. There was significant backlash to the trend at the time too and Mothers Against Drunk Driving came out repeatedly to educate young people. Then drunk-driving was replaced by texting-and-driving as an issue. But I digress. We haven?t had a big-name celebrity get caught drunk driving in a minute. That?s what happened in Sag Harbor, New York on Monday. Justin Timberlake was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Justin Timberlake was arrested on Long Island on Monday night and accused of driving while intoxicated, authorities said.
The pop superstar, who was still in custody in Sag Harbor on Tuesday morning, the Sag Harbor Village Police confirmed to NBC News.
He will face a DWI charge, a court official said.

My guess is that Justin has been drinking too much for years. His face tells the tale, iykyk. I remember when he was caught being completely sh-tfaced in New Orleans and cheating on his wife too that happened in 2019. And you know it?s bad when someone is drinking to excess on a MONDAY. Anyway, shame on him. He?s in his 40s he knows better and he?s extremely lucky he didn?t hurt himself or someone else. Lock him up!!

From the best we could tell, Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady were basically separated and quietly going through a divorce mediation for much of 2022. As soon as Tom decided to play one more year, Gisele was done. She dealt with it all in a pretty straight-forward manner which I admired she was simply ready to move on and she was tired of being married to such a selfish bonehead. Gisele and Tom finalized their divorce in October 2022. The next month, Gisele was seen out on a date with her jiu-jitsu instructor and friend Joaquim Valente. They?ve basically been together ever since then, although Gisele later claimed that they were just friends for a long time and then it turned into something more. Some people theorized that Gisele started up with Joaquim while she was still married. I honestly don?t know! But In Touch Weekly claims that Gisele and Joaquim are dunzo.
Gisele Bu?ndchen?s romance with her jiujitsu instructor, Joaquim Valente, seems to be fizzling.
Joaquim, 36, was last seen at the Brazilian supermodel?s Bal Harbour, Florida, home on April 26, sparking speculation that the couple has put their relationship on pause.
?The spotlight was too much for him,? says a source. ?Joaquim?s a regular guy. He?s not used to all the attention he was getting.?
Tom Brady?s Netflix roast certainly didn?t help matters, either. ?Joaquim became part of the joke. People actually started asking him if he was the reason for their divorce. He hated that.?
Gisele, 43, was really upset with her ex-husband, 46. ?She blames the break on Tom,? says the source. ?By agreeing to do the roast, he basically put a target on Joaquim?s back.?

Ah, that?s another reason why Gisele was so mad about the roast there were jokes about Joaquim and the divorce, etc. I get that and I think it probably was a factor. But the larger issue is surely that Joaquim is ?a regular guy? who has no idea how to navigate a relationship with one of the most famous models/celebrities in the world? And if Joaquim is getting cold feet over a Netflix roast? he?s not a keeper. He?s not a ride-or-die. You could do better, Gisele!

Here are some photos of Jennifer Lopez at Giorgio Baldi on Sunday night. I?ve seen some outlets claim that she was ?dining alone,? but she was clearly out with a couple of girlfriends and one of those ladies drove J.Lo away from the restaurant. Giorgio Baldi is one of the most popular restaurants in LA and it?s become something of a celebrity hot-spot. During Rihanna?s pregnancies, she was there practically every week, sometimes multiple times a week. My point is that J.Lo knew she would be photographed and she either wanted to be seen or she didn?t care that she was seen. Considering the weekend was full of ?imminent divorce? rumors, it feels like Jennifer wanted to be seen out and about. Is the message ?I?m not hiding away??
Notably, Jennifer is still wearing her wedding band and her green-diamond engagement ring. She?s been wearing her wedding ring this whole time, I think? Meanwhile, Ben has been seen recently without his ring at times, and wearing his ring at other times. You guys know I don?t put a lot of stock in Ring Watch, but I do think Jen is sending a message by getting pap?d this weekend with her rings. ET also confirmed that Jen and Ben are ?quietly? trying to offload their $60.8 million Beverly Hills mansion, which seems to be the root of the divorce rumors in recent days. Maybe it?s just? selling a house which doesn?t work for them, but Ben and Jennifer are still working on their marriage?
And finally, Meghan McCain recently said that when J.Lo appeared on The View, Jen was ?deeply unpleasant? and ?not a nice person.? Again, that?s coming from Meghan McCain, who is one of the biggest aholes in the country.

Lily Allen co-hosts a podcast, called Miss Me, with her longtime best friend, Miquita Oliver. They say they?ve been friends ?since birth.? As you probably know, Lily has always been an open, outspoken, oversharer. Since she and Miquita began Miss Me, Lily has had a platform to say all sorts of crazy sh-t. (Not kidding; on the May 27 ep, she talked about once having diarrhea while onstage during a concert.) It?s generally good gossip fodder, at least. On the most recent episode of the pod, Lily and Miquita talked about the fact that Lily f-cked a pop star that her best-friend-since-birth had a crush on. She did it on purpose, too.
Lily Allen knows something about sabotage. During the Monday, June 3 episode of her podcast Miss Me, which she hosts with best friend Miquita Oliver, the pop singer, 39, revealed that she once deliberately slept with her co-hosts celebrity crush. The British TV presenter, 40, recalled a time when she interviewed a pop star in the early aughts that had a big album and she found out he fancied her.
Careful who you tell things to ? I told Lily that I liked him and she was like, Well actually I like him, and I was like, Well it doesnt matter because he actually likes me, Oliver said. She explained that the Smile performer wasnt a pop star then, but Allen ? who was working artist relations at the time ? went to a festival in Japan and seduced him.
When Oliver found out Allen slept with him, she said she had never been that angry with her friend.
We did not speak for about six months, the former The Month with Miquita host recalled. But the Alfie musician maintained that she wasnt trying to sabotage Oliver.
?I fancied him, so I was getting mine, Allen said, adding: By the way, I think pop stars are fair game, like, I don?t care.
However, the TV personality felt that at the time she had been sabotaged by Allen.
The point is we got over it, Oliver said.
The singer-songwriter/actress then apologized saying she never wants to cause her friend pain.
I actually thought youd just be happy for me, Allen admitted with a laugh.

Umm, not gonna lie, but Lily sounds like a terrible friend. What a bitch move. There are plenty of fish in the sea, especially if you?re a nepo baby who runs in rich, privileged, famous-people circles like Lily did. She wanted to pull a power move over her friend, so she did just that. And yes, I would think the same thing if it were a man ?getting his? with someone that his friend had a crush on. It?s not like Lily and Pop Star X were star-crossed lovers or soulmates. She just wanted to stake a claim in something that her best friend wanted. Thinking Miquita would be ?happy? for her is also bonkers because you know if the situation had been reversed, they would still not be talking. Kudos to Miquita for being the bigger person and getting over it because I don?t know if I?d ever again fully trust someone who did that to me.

Angelina Jolie is keeping her birthday low-key. As Jolie turns 49 on Tuesday, June 4, a source close to the actress tells PEOPLE that Jolie is spending the day with her children: Maddox, 22, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, Pax, 20, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 15.
?Angelina will celebrate her birthday with a quiet day at home with her kids. Zahara is home from college, and she looks forward to everyone spending the day together, the source says.
Most recently, Jolie produced the Broadway musical adaptation of The Outsiders along with her daughter Vivienne, who is also working on the production as her mothers assistant. Jolie was nominated for co-producing the musical adaptation of S.E. Hintons 1967 book The Outsiders, which is up for 12 Tony Awards, including Best Musical and Best Direction of a Musical.

?Zahara is home from college? Angelina misses Zahara so much! She probably planned the whole week around Zahara being home. Brad Pitt has repeatedly shown the world that he treats his biological kids differently than his adopted kids, and that?s a huge reason why all of the kids want nothing to do with him. Zahara and Shiloh are exceptionally close sisters. Maddox and Pax adore their younger siblings and they?re very protective of their mother. All of the hate and accusations thrown at Angelina, and it turns out that she fostered a loving and supportive family dynamic with all six kids.

Three things irrevocably changed the American population during the pandemic. One, over 1.1 million people died, leaving gaping holes in families and communities. Two, people?s lives were ripped apart by long covid and the longterm effects of covid infections, which we still don?t completely understand. We basically have a not-insignificant part of the population still dealing with health issues years after their covid infections. Three, we learned that millions of people living in America are absolute morons who hate and don?t understand science, vaccines and public health. Evangeline Lilly showed her ass during the pandemic and it?s never been the same for her since. In the early days of the pandemic, she arrogantly declared that quarantines are bullsh-t and ?freedom? is more important than any public health measure. Then she went to that bonkers anti-vaxx rally and came out in support of ?bodily sovereignty? against vaccine mandates. She did and said all of that while under contract with Marvel. Well, I guess her contract is up and she understands that she?s done irreversible harm to her career, because Evangeline is quitting the biz.
Evangeline Lilly announced on Instagram that she has stepped away from Hollywood for the foreseeable future and ?might return one day.? Lilly, best known for playing Kate Austen in ABC?s drama series ?Lost,? re-shared a video recorded in 2006 in which she expressed her desire to be a ?retired actress? by the next decade.
?Ten years from now, where would I like to be? I am terrified to admit this to the rest of the acting world but ideally 10 years from now I?d like to be a retired actress and have a family,? Lilly said in the video. ?I?d like to be writing and influencing people?s lives in humanitarian ways.?
In her caption to the video posted June 3, 2024, Lily writes: ?I am so filled with joy and contentment today as I live out my vision. Praise God, I feel so grateful for my blessings. Stepping away from what seems like the obvious choice (wealth and fame) can feel scary at times, but stepping into your dharma replaces the fear with fulfillment. I might return to Hollywood one day, but, for now, this is where I belong.?

Pre-pandemic, Evangeline was known as a granola-hippie type who eschewed the fame machine of Hollywood for the most part. Like, she never really capitalized on all of the buzz she got from Lost, and that genuinely was her choice back then. This current move is not completely her choice though Marvel was not happy that several of their stars were such idiots during the pandemic. Evangeline wasn?t a big enough star for her career to weather her own stupidity. Sidenote: I dont think she really had the talent for career longevity either, but whatever.

Last month, Demi Moore was one of the biggest names at the Cannes Film Festival. She was promoting The Substance (which got pretty good reviews) and partying at the festival. She was also one of the big-name attendees at the Cannes amfAR gala. Just after Cannes, Joe Jonas and his bros were in Monte Carlo for the Monaco Grand Prix. Meaning, Demi Moore and Joe Jonas were in the same general vicinity around the same time. Weirdly enough, there are photos of Demi and Joe having lunch together at the infamous Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, and Page Six claims that something might be happening?
Demi Moore is continuing her ?Demi-sance? with a flirty new friendship with Joe Jonas, sources tell Page Six. The 61-year-old actress ? who stole the show at Cannes Film Festival with a series of attention-getting red-carpet looks ? met the 34-year-old singer while in the South of France last month, according to insiders.
?Demi and Joe have struck up a friendship. They have mutual friends and they bonded,? one well-placed source told us of the pair, who were seen having lunch together at the exclusive Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France.
While one insider told us that things were already getting romantic, the well-placed source was quick to dispel any rumors of hanky-panky.
Moore ? whose new horror film, ?The Substance,? was all the buzz at Cannes ? hosted the amfAR gala during the festival, where Joe made a surprise appearance onstage alongside his brother Nick. While Nick, 31, was scheduled to perform at the event, it was the addition Joe for his band DNCE?s hit ?Cake by the Ocean? that got the crowd out of their seats. Moore was seen dancing with Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh during the song. Moore was later spotted dining with Joe, his brother Kevin and supermodel Heidi Klum. We?re told that Joe is also friends with Moore?s stylist Brad Goreski and her manager Jason Weinberg.
The new friendship comes on the heels of Joe?s break-up with model Stormi Bree, after five months of dating, as Page Six confirmed last month. ?He?s been busy working on his solo album,? a source told Page Six at the time.
Joe has been sharing photos from his vacation at the luxurious One&Only Portonovi resort in Montenegro in the Balkans, while Moore was last seen over the weekend in Vienna, Austria, at Cartier?s High Jewelry masquerade ball.
