New Jersey rockstar hero Jon Bon Jovi and his wife, Dorothea Hurley, have been married for 35 years. In fact, their 35th wedding anniversary was on Monday, April 29. In honor of their anniversary (not really, lol), Jon?s been giving some personal interviews lately. Jon?s promoting his documentary, Thank You Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story, which is streaming on Hulu. Last week, Jon told The Independent that he hadn?t been ?a saint? during their marriage, admitting that he indulged in the ?wonderful clichs of rock stardom.? (Psst, he meant groupies.) Dorothea and Jon have four children together, Stephanie, 30, Jesse, 29, Jake, 21 (engaged to Millie Bobbie Brown), and Romeo, 20. In an interview with ABC?s Michael Strahan earlier this week, Jon elaborated a bit more on his past infidelities, explaining, ?I?m a rock ?n? roll star.?
Jon Bon Jovi has more to confess. After making headlines for saying he was not a ?saint? in his marriage to his high school sweetheart, Dorothea Hurley, the rock star admitted to getting ?away with murder.?
Bon Jovi, 62, spoke to Michael Strahan about his early days in the music industry during ABC?s ?Halfway There? special Monday, joking that he was ?not saying that there weren?t 100 girls in [his] life? at the time.
?I?m a rock ?n? roll star. I?m not a saint,? he said. ?I?m Jon Bon Jovi. It was pretty good.
?But if you think I was ever going to jeopardize ? anything for believing the narcissist in me was real? What a stupid thing to do. What kind of excesses does a man need that?s going to fuel that fire? It?s just not worth it.?
The Grammy winner went on to praise Hurley, 61, for not being ?afraid to call [him] out on something.?
However, he added, ?She?s also there when I fall. And I?m there for her when she falls. No matter where I went in my career, the ups or the downs, we went there together.?
The couple began dating in 1980, four years before the release of Bon Jovi?s eponymous first album. The duo briefly split in 1985 before reconciling and eventually eloping in Las Vegas in 1989. Bon Jovi and the karate instructor share four children ? Stephanie, 30, Jesse, 29, Jake, 21, and Romeo, 20 ? with the third making headlines for his 2023 engagement to ?Stranger Things? star Millie Bobby Brown.
While sharing marriage advice for the young couple with ?Good Morning America? viewers Thursday, the ?Livin? on a Prayer? singer said ?every day is a challenge and a change.?
He encouraged Jake and Brown, 20, to focus on ?growing together.?

Okay, so, what goes on between Jon and Dorothea in terms of the rules and terms of their marriage is obviously strictly their business. It sounds like Dorothea knows exactly who she married, has come to terms with it, and accepts Jon for all of his weaknesses and flaws. And if that works for them, then power to them. They clearly still love each other 35 years and hundreds of female groupies later. That said, I would be sooo pissed if my husband and I had an agreement like that and he kept giving interviews alluding to how much he cheated on me while simultaneously praising me. If anything, I?d probably want to be a part of any of that kind of talk, similar to how Oliver Hudson?s wife was a part of his big infidelity confessions. This isn?t the first time Jon?s alluded to being unfaithful, either. He?s done it several times in past interviews, too. No one?s marriage is perfect, but I really hope she?s okay with all of this sharing.

The government shut down is entering its fifth week, so federal employees are looking at a fifth week without pay. And the person responsible, the one with his thumb in his mouth, pouting in the Oval Office, is not providing a fast food bonanza for any of the thousands of people he?s starving. Fortunately, there are people who do care about their fellow Americans in this country. Jon Bon Jovi is one of those people. Jon and wife Dorthea have run the JBJ Soul Kitchen since 2011. The restaurant allows people to pay what they can for their food or they can volunteer for the meal instead. It?s a lovely concept and has been quite successful in its two locations in New Jersey. In honor of Martin Luther King Day yesterday, Jon, in partnership with New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy and his Murphy Family Foundation, fed all federal workers and their families for free at JBJ Soul Kitchen.
This is a beautiful gesture in addition to being a lovely way to honor Rev. King?s memory. According to their website, JBJ Soul Kitchen has served over 94,000 meals since they?ve opened. Since the ingredients used at JBJSK are locally sourced, it supports the community in two ways. Much respect to Jon and Dorthea. And to the Murphy?s for setting a good example of leadership for the state.
I get so filled with rage that so many people have to suffer as a result of #45?s ego. Some of those affected are having to choose between food or medication. So, I?m trying very hard to focus on the folks like Jon and his family who are stepping up to help out. And they are not the only ones. Chef Jos Andrs has organized #ChefsForFeds who are partnering with restaurants, kitchens and food trucks across the nation to try and keep federal employees fed. On a personal note, I?d like to give a shout out to all the trucks and folks who donated to the Tacos for Teachers gofundme to get lunch out to the Los Angeles Unified teachers on the picket lines.

It was just a year ago that we were treated to a series of shirtless photos of Jon Bon Jovi, then 49, hanging out on the beach with his family. Back then he looked pretty damn good, but fast forward a year and he looks even fitter at 50! I really like this guy, who is by all accounts that I’ve heard, a devoted family man and a very nice guy. He’s been married for 23 years to his high school sweetheart, Dorthea Hurley, and they have four children together. He also has his own charity foundation, which has recently focused on Hurricane Sandy relief following the devastating effects of Sandy in his native New Jersey. So long story short, Bon Jovi is awesome.
Bon Jovi’s life isn’t entirely charmed, though. He had a devastating setback when his 19 year-old daughter, Stephanie Rose, overdosed on heroin this November while away at college. In response, he simply said that he never saw it coming and hopes they caught it in time, but that there’s only so much you can do. He said, in part, “I?m shocked as much as the next parent with this situation and had no idea. But then you surround them with best help and love and move on, and that?s where we?re at with it… Hopefully, we caught it when we did and that?s the end of it. But who knew? I?ve got three more to come.”
Bon Jovi in shown in St. Barts with his wife and two youngest children, Romeo, 8, and Jacob, 10. Last year his daughter Stephanie and their now 17 year-old son, Jesse, were in St. Barts too for the family holiday vacation. Maybe all the kids were there and those two stayed at the hotel this day instead of heading to the beach.I just hope that Stephanie is doing well and that she has family around her. Hopefully she’s back on the right track again. It sounds like she has plenty of love and support from her family.

Joining in on the 2012 iHeartRadio Music Festival festivities, Miley Cyrus was among the star power descending upon the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Friday night (September 21).
Still rockin' her platinum blonde locks, the former "Hannah Montana" hottie was in a playful mood as she mingled with a pair of performers in Jon Bon Jovi and Gwen Stefani while attending the weekend-long concert as a special guest presenter.
Aside from her iHeartRadio Music Festival excursion, Miss Cyrus recently lent her celebrity to a cause in which she wants others to care about, too - choosing our President.
The 19-year-old joined stars such as Josh Duhamel and fellow iHeart Festival attendee Kathy Griffin in a Rock the Vote PSA (watch below), of which she tweeted, ?#WeWill be heard! I?m in @Rockthevote?s new PSA. Watch, register, & make your choice this November!?

Gearing up for Sunday's MTV Europe Music Awards, Rihanna took the stage during a secret gig in Madrid, Spain on Saturday night (November 6).
Held at the Teatro Circo Price, the "S&M" singer joined up with Bon Jovi frontman Jon Bon Jovi to treat the audience to a rockin' rendition of "Livin' On a Prayer" at the MTV hosted Pre-EMA party.
As for the visit to Madrid, RiRi arrived in town with her baseball player beau Matt Kemp the previous day - as she's among the stars lined up to take the stage at the EMAs.
The appearance comes as the 22-year-old readies to release a brand new album titled Loud, which is due out on November 16th.
