Sarah Ferguson started a podcast months ago, before she was diagnosed with breast cancer. I have no idea if her pod is successful, but I would assume most people really just don?t care. Still, because Fergie is toeing the Firm?s line for the most part, she must be hyped as the next big thing in? American broadcasting?? The Mail is trying to start the rumor that Fergie might end up hosting an American talk show. Like? this isn?t a real thing. It seems the real story is that Fergie is back to scheming for a way to make money so she can ?support? her ex-husband.
The Duchess of York is hoping to land a lucrative chat show in America in a bid to help her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, pay his mounting bills. TV producer Amy Rosenblum told The Mail on Sunday that she met Sarah Ferguson at New Yorks Regency Hotel last month and discussed possible formats. Ms Rosenblum, one of the most respected figures in US television, who was a long-time producer of Americas top-rated breakfast programme, NBCs Today Show, said: Sarah told me, I want a show! I want a show! I did a pilot with her about 15 years ago. We were up against Ellen DeGeneres and ultimately they went with Ellen. But Sarah was really good when we did the pilot. We have been friends since then.
Ms Rosenblum declined to comment on specific pitches which may be in the pipeline. But an insider at ABC TV, part of giant Disney Studios, said: Fergie could reasonably expect to earn around 2million a year, but that figure would go up considerably should her show be a hit.
Shes always gone down well in America. Shes never been too proud to promote the heck out of anything, be it one of her books or WeightWatchers. Americans respect someone who hustles.
The ABC source said: Ellen has retired so there is a gap in the market.
Fergie is reportedly keen to help bankroll 2million worth of essential maintenance work at Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park.Andrew had faced losing his 30-room mansion until he paid 200,000 for urgent roof repairs this summer. A source told the Mail on Sunday: Its true Sarah wants to help Andrew stay in what she considers their family home. She lives at Royal Lodge when shes in the UK. Its very much their familys base. Andrew has lost so much. She will do everything she can to help him keep the house, even though it may prove untenable in the long term.
Friends say that the Prince has been left bereft by events and is a lost soul.
He rides his horses and goes for long walks but he is a lost soul and veers between bafflement and feeling bereft by the turn of events, said one woman who is in touch with members of his inner circle. He has always maintained his innocence and those close to him believe him absolutely. He is struggling. He was able to pay for the emergency roof repairs but that was very much an interim fix. The overall repair bill is considerably higher and you have to factor in the day-to-day running costs of a place like Royal Lodge.
Money, or the lack of it, has been a constant in Andrew and Sarahs relationship. She will do everything she can to support him now, just as she always has.

Again, Fergie isn?t getting a network talk show. Americans wish her well, but we?re not dying to see her on a talk show, and these days, her baggage (Andrew, Jeffrey Epstein) would weigh down the show. As I said, the real point of this story is ?poor broke Andrew.? ?He is a lost soul and veers between bafflement and feeling bereft by the turn of events?He has always maintained his innocence and those close to him believe him absolutely.? Bafflement? Does he not remember all of the teenage girls procured for him by Jeffrey Epstein? Did someone force him to settle out of court with Virginia Giuffre? Yahoo has a body image series pun-tastically named It Figures, where they talk to different celebrities and experts about body confidence and self-esteem. Their latest conversation was with Mark Wahlberg. I actually think this makes sense, cause Wahlberg?s fitness regimen is arguably the biggest asset he brings to his projects. During his talk, Wahlberg touched on his productive hours between waking up (insanely) early and getting his kids up for school, and also the pressure he feels to get in the precise shape required for a role. The struggle is real, nevertheless he persists:
Mark Wahlberg works hard ? just look at his alarm clock for proof. The actor, who previously woke up at 2:30 a.m. and more recently has added an hour of snoozing to arise at around 3:30 a.m., says this routine allows him to prioritize fitness and then leave the rest of the day to deal with the ?too many other things? he has going on.
The actor acknowledges that his early rising time isn?t for everyone but doesn?t understand people?s reactions to his personal choice.
?When I kind of talked about my schedule at that point in time, it got a little blown out of proportion and people didn?t know how to interpret it. ? People thought I was taking an hour and a half long shower,? he says, referring to the daily schedule he shared on Instagram in 2018. ?But it?s just getting up early, having my prayer time, meditation, doing my workout, and then reading and doing all the things that I need to do before I even get the kids up for school. It just worked for me.?
Bedtime is a priority for Wahlberg too. ?I want to get to bed as early as possible to get my eight hours of sleep.?
His routine aligns with ample research suggesting that the early morning might actually be the best time to exercise for various reasons. Wahlberg?s fitness goals, however, tend to be driven by his work.
?I always feel an immense amount of pressure when somebody takes a risk on me and says, ?OK, I want to have you starring in this film. And you know, you?re supposed to show up like this,?? he explains. ?Whether it?s putting on weight, losing weight, whatever it is, I have to deliver. I have to be prepared, I have to bring something to the table and I take that very, very seriously.?

Remember last year when we were laughing at the ?look at the weight I gained!? Oscar campaign he did for Father Stu? Well the joke?s on us, cause he did get a Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama nomination? at the Satellite Awards (and lost to Brendan Frasier). So there. Call me unforgiving, but all I ever think of when I see Mark Wahlberg is the $1.5 million he swindled out of a few week?s worth of reshoots for his supporting role in All The Money In The World (on top of being paid ten times the amount the actual star of the film made). And that?s really not fair of me, because it ignores the blithely callous statements he made about the Trump presidency.

Last week, we heard that Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas had agreed to go into mediation to try to work out the terms of their divorce. In September, Joe filed for divorce in Florida, where they lived and had a home up until early this year. Weeks later, Sophie sued Joe in a New York court, saying that he had abducted their children, refused to relinquish their passports and that the girls need to return with her to the UK. It was set to be a catastrophically messy and international custodial battle, but the fact that they agreed to the mediation and agreed to some temporary terms laid out by the New York court seemed like good first steps. As it turns out, their mediation went really well and they?re likely about to sign an agreement. TMZ had details about the immediate custodial framework for the rest of the year:
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have struck a deal in their divorce case and it sounds like theyre both on the same page. As we reported, Joe and Sophie were hashing out the terms of their divorce during 3 days of mediation last week.
There is a prenup, so it looks like assets were not a big issue. The bigger issue, of course, was child custody. Sophie wanted the kids to live with her in the UK, and Joe wanted them to stay with him in the U.S.
According to settlement docs, obtained by TMZ, an amicable resolution on all issues between them is forthcoming. Translation theyre super close to signing a settlement.
In the meantime, they have agreed to a temporary child custody agreement. Under the terms, the 2 kids ages 1 and 3 will be with Sophie from October 9 through October 21. During that time, shes allowed to travel with them to the UK. On October 21, Sophie must return with the kids to the U.S., where Joe will then take them through November 2.
The kids will then go back to Sophie until November 22. Joe gets them on that day and will presumably spend Thanksgiving with them. The kids go back to mom on December 16, where they will stay until January 7. So she gets them for XMAS and New Years. Sounds like a final settlement is looming.

This kind of custodial framework will only ?work? while their daughters are young. Once they get to school age, it?s highly unlikely that either parent would agree to a two-weeks in the UK, two weeks in the US pattern. So, while I?m glad that mediation worked well for them for the time being, I?m not sure if they?ve actually come up with long-term solutions. It also strikes me that Sophie and Joe are both wondering if the other will relent about their (separate) living situations. Sophie might be going into this thinking that Joe will eventually buy a home in London, and Joe might believe that Sophie will eventually want to move back to the US.

Ive been waiting for a while to see if we would get photos of the Prince and Princess of Wales today in Birmingham, for their big event for World Mental Health Day. Our photo agencies are seemingly taking part in the Mute Challenge, so you can see the pics here at the Mail. Kate wore her best bumblebee attire black trousers, a black crewneck and a bright yellow blazer. I usually think that Kate looks surprisingly good in yellow, but this shade is off. It?s too goldenrod. You know we?re going to get another dozen embiggening commentary pieces about how Kate is the first woman to ever wear trousers, right? Deep sigh. Meanwhile, did you know that William and Kate commissioned yet another survey? These two love to collate their meaningless data and put that data in nonsensical pie charts. Here are the results of their latest survey:
Kate Middleton and Prince William are sharing the results of a survey that they administered ahead of World Mental Health Day that found that nearly all young people feel their friends are struggling with mental health issues.
The survey, which was conducted by the Prince and Princess of Wales Royal Foundation, was taken by 3,000 young people in the U.K. According to the findings, 95% of 16-24-year-olds say they think their peers are having some sort of problem with their mental health.
The poll also found that around 60% of participants think that it?s very important for young people to have greater awareness and understanding of social and emotional skills. Additionally, 39% feel that they dont manage their emotions very well.

The survey? asked kids if they think it?s good to be ?aware? of mental health. This reminds me of Kate?s Early Years busywork, the purpose of which is purely awareness-raising. As in, all Kate does is say ?the Early Years are important,? and then an endless amount of time, money and resources are devoted to compiling data about whether or not people think the Early Years are important. I?ll conduct my own survey: do you think these two lazy jackasses will ever do anything more than an awareness-raising campaign with their endless resources? Yes or no.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus found out she had breast cancer one day after winning an Emmy, her sixth consecutive for playing Selina Meyer on Veep and eighth overall for acting. Julia announced her diagnosis in 2017, and is now Julia sharing more about the moment when she got the call that day six years ago. While appearing with journalist David Remnick at the 2023 New Yorker Festival last Friday, Julia spoke candidly about the way she responded to her doctor over the phone, and also described the powerful memory she said got her through the treatment that followed.
?I started laughing. Well, because the night before, I had won an Emmy. And so, I came downstairs and ? the Emmy was there. It was like on the dining room table. I?m coming down to get coffee. My cell phone rings, and it?s my doctor saying, ?Guess what, you have cancer,?? she recalled.
?And I?m like, ?Huh? What?? And so, it was a very bizarre juxtaposition,? she continued ?And, of course, I did laugh, and then I became hysterical, crying, because I was terrified, as most people are, or as all people are if they get a diagnosis like that.?
She said she was fortunate to have her family rally around her as she began to navigate the unknown. ?I have a very strong and supportive family, and for which I am eternally grateful, upon whom I relied ? sisters, husband, my sons, my mother, my mothers, my stepmother, everybody,? she said.
Still, she continued, ?I was deeply terrified because who wouldn?t be? I mean, all the tropes are true. You know, you get that call and it?s like, ?What, me? No, no, no.? I mean, you can?t imagine that something like that would happen to you.?
To get through her grueling chemotherapy sessions, Louis-Dreyfus told Remnick she focused on a memory of a particularly unnerving moment from her past to motivate her.
?I?ve said it before, but many, many years ago, I was on a boat with my husband. I was swimming in the water. He came to the bow of the boat and he said, ?Jules, I don?t want you to panic, but there?s a shark in the water, so you need to come back.? And I was far away from the boat,? she explained.
?And so, I just saw the ladder and I started swimming towards it, and I made the decision not to look around me at all. I was just going to stay looking at the ladder. And that very much applied to how I got through my cancer adventure ? was sort of looking at the ladder. Just let?s get this done, let?s get there.?

Ok, first of all, I hope her doctor didn?t actually say ?Guess what, you have cancer,? but that?s just Julia?s way of highlighting the absurdity of going from Emmy win to breast cancer overnight. But I do appreciate the license she takes for storytelling purposes, because the way she recalls the moment is so vivid I felt like I could see each moment happening. The confusion to laughter to hysteria to tears (a trajectory you know she could act the sh*t out of, by the way). And while she mentioned speaking about the shark story before, it was new to me, and holy cow was that a powerful image. Again I find Julia?s language incredibly cinematic. It wasn?t her inclination to be public with her cancer diagnosis, but she?s given great comfort to others by sharing the many facets of her personal experience.
To end on a selfish note: I miss Veep so much. Julia said it was freeing to play Selina Meyer ? it was also freeing to watch her! But I guess what I also miss is when it was just a funny show on Max (ne HBO) and not, you know, our actual politicians.

In response to the devastating wildfires that swept Maui in August, Dwayne Johnson and Oprah Winfrey set up the People?s Fund of Maui. The aim of the fund was to provide local survivors with $1,200 a month to assist in recovery. Dwayne and Oprah each donated $5 million to start off the fund, and then publicly asked people to contribute. In my side-eyeing Paris Hilton for vacationing near the disaster site, I seemed to have missed that Dwayne and Oprah themselves received backlash? for starting a fundraiser to help. The criticism they received was for asking people to donate, despite the massive wealth between them. Over the weekend Dwayne posted an Instagram video update about the first round of $1,200 checks going to survivors, and he also took the opportunity to address the flack he and Oprah received during the launch:
?When we first launched the fund, there was some backlash,? Johnson said in a video shared to his Instagram on Sunday. ?I get it and I completely understand, and I could?ve been better. And next time I will be better.?
The ?Moana? actor acknowledged that he knows ?money ain?t falling out of the sky, and it?s not growing on trees, and there?s a lot of people out there who?s living paycheck to paycheck. And I get it, and I know what that?s like.?
Many people criticized Johnson and Winfrey for not contributing more from their own pockets and asking their fans to donate.
?When you?re living paycheck to paycheck, you are easily pissed off. It?s frustrating,? Johnson continued in his video on Instagram. ?And the last thing you want to hear when you?re living paycheck to paycheck is someone asking you for money ? especially when the person asking you for money already has a lot of money. I get it, I understand.?
Johnson?s net worth is estimated at $270 million and Winfrey?s is estimated $2.5 billion, according to Forbes.
?I?ve never launched a fund before, but I?m a quick study and lesson learned,? the ?Red Notice? star added.
He also thanked his fans for their honesty in his caption, writing, ?I?ll always appreciate and protect that straight talk between us ? you have my word to always listen, learn, grow and do better.?
Johnson and Winfrey?s fund is intended to give adults displaced by the wildfires in Lahaina and Kula a monthly stipend of $1,200 to help them during recovery.
In Johnson?s latest post, he said the first round of applicants has started to receive the monthly stipend.
?I?m so grateful and moved by all the messages I?m receiving out of Maui from the survivors of the devastating wildfires who are now getting their personal funding from The People?s Fund of Maui,? he wrote in the caption. ?The strength of our people of Maui is beautiful and inspiring. Watching families and community come together after this tragedy is inspirational and I?m proud of our Polynesian people.?
Johnson concluded: ?Thank you to everyone who has helped by sending resources, love and prayers to all people affected by the fires and a loving mahalo and RESPECT to our OG cultural leaders, our local community organizations, and all our first responders and every person who came together to help our people.?

I don?t usually say this, but in this particular case I?m with the million-billionaires. Between Dwayne and Oprah, they started off the fund with $10 million of their own money. A drop in the bucket for each of them, sure, but I still don?t think they?re the bad guys here. They each routinely donate generously to worthy causes. And they didn?t single out any one group to contribute to the fund, it was a blanket plea that other millionaires were welcome to respond to! That being said, this was a well done move by Dwayne ? to acknowledge the parts that didn?t land from the original launch and promise to handle it better next time, all while giving a positive update on money going out to survivors. But overall, I think the intent, context, and track records matter a lot here. I mean, it?s not like Dwayne and Oprah just showed up empty-handed to a refugee center or foodbank for the umpteenth time.

In 2020, Doja said that she never stripped in incel video chatrooms but she did some ?dumb-ass? stuff when she was younger and she gave some kind of apology. Crash cut to three years later, and Doja posted-and-deleted photos where she wore a t-shirt with an image of Sam Hyde, a ?comedian? with neo-Nazi links.
The US rapper Doja Cat has been slammed online after photos posted to her Instagram account showed her wearing a T-shirt that featured an image of a comedian with neo-Nazi links. On Friday, several images posted on her account showed her wearing a top featuring the controversial comedian Sam Hyde.
The celebrity news account Pop Base said that Doja Cat, 27, initially shared her look in a photo on her main feed but later deleted it and re-uploaded a new version with the image cropped out. A slightly blurry selfie of her wearing the shirt showing Hydes face was also posted on her Instagram stories.
Representatives for Doja Cat did not respond to a request for comment from Insider, made outside of normal working hours.
Hyde co-wrote Million Dollar Extreme Presents: World Peace, a sketch-comedy show that premiered on Adult Swim in 2016. Pitchfork reported that the show was canceled after one season following criticism that it promoted racism and sexism and shared bigoted views.
In 2017, Hyde also pledged $5,000 for the legal defense of the founder of the Daily Stormer website, a neo-nazi publication. Andrew Anglin was sued by the Southern Poverty Law Center for organizing a troll storm against a Jewish woman in Montana, the Los Angeles Times reported. When a reporter contacted Hyde to ask for a comment, Hyde reportedly asked if they were Jewish and claimed $5,000 was nothing to him.

The only part of Ariana Grande?s chaotic and cockamamie PR I believe this year was the part where she claimed that she and Dalton Gomez had been on the rocks long before she started up with Ethan Slater. The scandalous part of Ariana and Ethan?s adultery was that Ethan?s wife Lilly Jay had no idea, and that Ari and Ethan were going around behind Lilly?s back. Dalton wasn?t around Ariana had basically already left him, although I?ll also buy the idea that she kept giving him just enough emotional incentive to stick around in case she needed him. In any case, Dalton was also the most quiet of the four people in this toxic situation he didn?t make a big stink, he didn?t pile on, he didn?t sell his story, he didn?t chat with Page Six. He and Ariana quietly worked through their sh-t, filed for divorce simultaneously, and Dalton is walking away with a seven-figure check for his trouble.
Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez have made quick work out of their divorce, settling up just weeks after they filed to end their marriage. There werent a whole lot of contentious issues there was a prenup, and, as we reported when we broke the story, Ariana cut Dalton a check and according to the settlement Dalton will receive $1,250,000, tax-free. Dalton is getting the money upfront, so there will be no spousal support.
Dalton will also receive 1/2 of the net proceeds from the sale of their L.A. home. And, Ariana will pay up to $25,000 of Daltons attorneys fees.
A source close to the situation tells us, There is still a strong mutual love and respect between Ariana and Dalton and they wanted to make sure everything was done right in lockstep with one another.
The settlement is standard operating procedure for Arianas lawyer, disso queen Laura Wasser, who tries usually successfully to quickly settle even the most contentious divorces. Youll recall, she recently settled the bitter divorce between Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner.
The settlement has been filed with the court, and all thats left is for the judge to sign and they will be single again. Ariana is in deep with her newest boo, Wicked co-star Ethan Slater, and were told Dalton is dating as well. The date of separation on the divorce docs is February 20, but they didnt file for divorce until last month.

It can be clean-cut like this when there are no kids involved and one spouse feels a bit guilty and wants to write a check so that her ex will be able to land on his feet. As I said before, I wonder who ?managed? this for Ariana, because this was the only part of the drama which was handled correctly and efficiently. I guarantee Ari got an NDA attached to the settlement and Dalton would never break it. It?s good that he?s also getting half of the profit from the sale of their home that will probably be more than his cash settlement, considering the real estate market in LA. I wish Dalton well and I?m sure Ari does too. And yes, she?s moved on. She moved on while she was still married.

Gigi Hadid has been the most random-ass person for the past year. It was around this time last year that things appeared to be ?heating up? between Leo DiCaprio and Gigi. They kept showing up to the same places and partying together and maybe they were dating, but it seemed more like a situationship of convenience as Leo was trying to beat the allegations that his d-ck would crumble if he was around a woman over the age of 25 for more than ten minutes. Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid are spending time together. The actor, 48, and supermodel, 28, were spotted exiting celebrity hotspot Via Carota in New York Citys West Village neighborhood on Thursday before getting into the same SUV, as seen in photos shared by the Daily Mail.
Both were dressed casually for their dinner outing, with Hadid in a white cropped top under a black leather jacket, paired with a tan miniskirt. Meanwhile, Cooper wore a striped jacket over a blue graphic tee, dark slacks and a two-toned baseball cap.
Reps for Hadid and Cooper did not immediately respond to PEOPLEs requests for comment.
