Trading in their bikinis for a pair of Pink mini dresses, Alessandra Ambrosio and Elsa Hosk headed to New York yesterday (Feb. 25) to promote the highly-anticipated Victoria?s Secret Swim Special, as well as the new Sexiest Push-Up Bra.
All eyes were on the Angels as they showed off their model figures in coordinating ensembles. Alessandra flaunted her amazing abs in a rose-colored crop top and matching skirt, while Elsa donned a figure-flattering dress with black trim.
Tonight (Feb. 26), the pair will be back in bikinis for the first-ever VS Swim Special, which will show off the brand?s newest swimwear and give viewers a glimpse at the models? lives off the camera. ?We have such a great time, it doesn?t feel like work. I get to hang out in bikinis. It?s a dream,? Elsa told New York Daily News.

The 2015 BRIT Awards opened with a bang last night thanks to Taylor Swift.
The ceremony, which was held at London?s O2 arena on Wednesday (Feb. 25), began with the 25-year-old belting out her hit single, ?Blank Space.? She switched out of her awe-worthy red-carpet dress and slipped into a more stage-friendly, tuxedo-style jumpsuit for her performance. In true T-Swift style, the show ended with an explosion of glitter.
Shortly after her jaw-dropping performance, she was presented with the International Female Solo Artist award. ?I have been coming to England and playing shows for eight years and this is my first BRIT, and I?m so happy,? she gushed. ?My British fans have also changed my life."

Ivanka Trump has a feature in the March issue of Vogue to promote Celebrity Apprentice. She’s photographed here by Mario Testino. Her dress is Erdem, and she’s hanging out with her son, Joseph. Most of the interview covers Ivanka’s fast-paced lifestyle and how she rules the boardroom at work but finds time to balance family. Her husband, Jared Kushner, is present through much of the discussion. He calls his wife “definitely the CEO of our household, whereas I?m more on the board of directors.”
Ivanka’s previously talked about how she works 16 hour days, and she sees her kids (including daughter Arabella) at night for a quick sleep routine. Ivanka believes working so much helps her be a better mother when she comes home. The mere thought exhausts me because there’s always so much to be done as a mother. Even working for 8 hours every day on top of mothering can push someone to their limits. Jared says Ivanka “doesn’t want to outsource mothering,” but she does have help. She just doesn’t talk about it.
In this interview with Vicki Woods, Ivanka reveals how she focuses on family in one key way. Every weekend she turns off her phone to observe the Sabbath, which is solely devoted to family time:
On turning off her phone: “Yeah, we observe the Sabbath. From Friday to Saturday we don?t do anything but hang out with one another. We don’t make phone calls. It?s an amazing thing when you?re so connected … to really sign off. And for Arabella to know that she has me, undivided, one day a week? We don?t do anything except play with each other, hang out with one another, go on walks together. Pure family.”
On appreciating what she has: “You realize in life not that many things matter that much, but your choice of spouse is really everything. I am running a thousand miles a minute, and so is he, but none of it really matters. And I wouldn?t be able to do any of it if I didn?t have somebody who cared about me and had my best interests in mind. If I was married to somebody who, even if beneath the surface, didn?t like the fact that I work so hard or didn?t support my ambitions for myself or felt self-conscious about my last name … I think it would be very hard to build a solid foundation on that.”

Ivanka also reveals how she and Jared go out nearly every weeknight together, which sounds awesome but exhausting. I couldn’t be away from home for 16 hours (plus a date and time with a personal trainer) every day, but no shade. It works for them, and a dose of concentrated family time every weekend must help a lot. Turning off your phone for 25 hours every weekend is a hardcore commitment. Ivanka seems very well bonded with her kids in these pictures. Good for her.

Here are some photos of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West out and about in London today. Is it just me or is this the most flattering dress Kim has worn in MONTHS? Look at it! She looks thin and tall, which is always her goal. Body parts aren?t falling out. She?s covered up and yet we can still see her figure. She should buy this in every color!!! As for Kanye? I guess that?s in style now? Moth-eaten sweaters and cowboy boots, y?all. Now you know.
I don?t have much to add here ? Kim and Kanye were out in London last night for the BRIT Awards (he performed and she presented). Afterwards, they went out partying and now here they are, leaving the Dorchester. North West did not make this trip ? I saw the photos of Kim flying out of LAX and arriving at Heathrow and North was left at home in LA. This week?s National Enquirer says that North is always crying around her parents because? North has no idea who they are. A source says:
?Kim leaves Nori with a nanny a lot, so she isn?t used to this much time alone with mommy and daddy. It?s obvious Nori?s way more comfortable with the nanny than with Kim and Kanye. She cries wherever they go. It?s obvious Nori doesn?t want to be there.?

Earlier this month, Gawker published a really interesting essay called ?Why Is South Sudan a Hellhole? Blame George Clooney?. The point of the essay was not that Clooney is a terrible person or anything, but that the Darfur genocide was a complicated geopolitical catastrophe which was made infinitely worse when Darfur became a cause clbre and South Sudan was partitioned and given ?independence.? The point of the essay was also that West should know by now that whenever we jump into these complicated situations without really understanding the facts on the ground, we make it worse. I?m not going to pretend I completely followed everything in the essay, because pretending I understand would be the same kind of mistake the world made.
Which brings me to Clooney?s latest. George cowrote (with John Prendergast and Akshaya Kumar) a New York Times op-ed about how the situation in Darfur/South Sudan ? you can read it here. Summary: Darfur is still a hellhole. Sudan continues to attack the people of Darfur through literal scorched earth campaigns (burning villages to the ground, etc) and mass rape and torture. The point of the piece is ?don?t forget about Darfur, it?s still terrible.?
While I think it?s noble for Clooney to still be committed to the people of Darfur ? he?s paid for satellites to monitor?s Sudan?s activities for years ? I also wonder if there?s a slightly superficial urge at work here. George is desperate to be taken seriously, of course, which is why he ended up married to Amal. George wants to be a bigger political player. So is it any surprise that the National Enquirer reports this week that George is looking for ways to ?cement? his political credentials? A source claims: ?George has big ambitions and aims to get into politics imminently. He wants to do more humanitarian work and hopes to join the Democrats? 2016 election campaign.? The problem? A lot of people still see George as a boozy womanizer. The source also says, ?Surprisingly, it?s an even money bet on what George likes better ? alcohol or sex.? Yeah? that?s not a problem for a Democrat, you know?

God help me but I am SO into Kim Kardashian?s hair these days. That shoulder-length cut suits her and it makes her look younger and fresher. Of course, the rest of Kim is still a hot mess. These are photos of Kim heading out to the BRIT Awards last night in London. From what I could see, she didn?t walk the carpet. Which is fine, it would have been totally unnecessary, because the paparazzi got these shots of her leaving her hotel and we already got to see her outfit: it?s an onesie/jumpsuit by Julien Macdonald. It?s not flattering in the least. When Kim presented at the BRITs (she gave an award to Sam Smith), this is what the jumpsuit looked like in the back view:

I have no memory of this, but apparently there was a rumor circa 2002-03 that Jude Law was being considered to play Superman. Have you heard this? I remember the build-up to the reboot of the franchise, and how disappointed people were when Brandon Routh eventually got the part. I also remember that it took a while for Routh to get cast, and the reboot went through several different directors too. But I have no memory of Jude Law being in the running. You have to remember, back in those days, Jude was a HUGE deal. He?s still a wonderful actor and he still gets a lot of work now, but Jude Law circa 2002-05 was a major celebrity/heartthrob. Anyway, during an interview with MTV?s Josh Horowitz, Jude discussed how he was also wearing the cape:

Taylor Swift went for a dark, dragon-y look ? this is Roberto Cavalli Atelier, accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz jewels. Swifty is #TeamTargaryen!!!!! Karlie wore a bold Thierry Mugler gown. Both ladies seemed to have abandoned their twee. Is this a temporary thing? Are they no longer about cutesy cupcakes and cookies and sleepovers?
Taylor picked up the award for International Female Solo Artist. She also performed ?Blank Space? at the show, to decent reviews (I watched some clips and Tay-Tay is really not the best at choreography). But the most notable Swifty moment came when there was a cutaway during Kanye West?s performance of ?All Day?. Here you go:
