| Tori Spelling's rack is 'expired & recalled' but she fears losing her implants | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Our photo agencies keep catching Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott outside of massage parlors. That’s an expensive habit. These two are supposed to be broke, but Tori refuses to change her spending habits. I feel sorry for the poor masseuses who have to deal with these two fakedy fakers.
More tales of woe are spilling forth from True Tori. The last we heard, Dean was quitting the show after this season. He’s tired of being villified and set up for false-alarm vasectomies. Tori still has more tricks up her shirt. She’s already shown us her storage vaults of junk that she can’t throw away. Now she’s dealing with a different sort of expired good: Her breast implants. Tori says her pair should have been removed 15 years ago. She visited a plastic surgeon who said she has stage-3 hardening, and “it’s almost as bad as it could get.” Tori worries that losing her implants would make her less attractive to Dean:
Tori: “How are you going to feel about me having flaps there?”
Dean: “I’m all for taking a boob break. Your body needs a break.”
Tori: “Why don’t we put them in a glass dome and I could that on a wall next to my first bouquet from my marriage?”
Dean: “Things are expired, going to recall.”
Tori: “My boobs. They’re expired and recalled.”
[Later ...]
Tori: “If someone had said to me when I was 20 years old, ”by the way, every 10 to 15 years you’re going to need to get these suckers replaced” I wouldn’t have done it I have the biggest fear of going under for surgery. I’m so scared of being put to sleep. Now I’m all riled up, I just want to stick a knife in there and cut them out myself.”
[From Lifetime - True Tori]
If Tori’s implants are truly “expired” by 15 years, she’s lucky they didn’t burst or leak. Do they really have to be replaced on a regular basis? Tori’s implants were probably a very early version, but the math doesn’t make sense. She got implants when she was 20. Tori is 41 now. There’s no way these puppies are 15 years overdue for replacement. Tori exaggerates everything, so it’s hard to take her seriously.
Tori and Dean also visited Dr. Oz a few days ago. Tori says her recent hospital visit was “rock bottom” because her kids “weren’t even fazed by me being in the hospital. They’re used to it.”
Hollywood Life has details from the next episode of True Tori. Dean drops a pumpkin on little Hattie’s head. These two, I swear.

It may not even be Thanksgiving yet on this side of the Atlantic, but over in London, Now Magazine held their annual Christmas Party, and somehow they managed to get Nicola Mclean and her epic funbags to show up to celebrate with them. And after seeing how much cleavage she busted out, I’d like to […]

| Johnny Depp 'doesn't give a f-' about his recent box office failures | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Johnny Depp covers the December issue of Details to promote Mortdecai. The magazine hasn’t released the cover yet, but the interview has already gone online. The scarf monster whips out his bitch in this discussion. This interview happened weeks before Johnny’s drunk variety show at the HFAs (and also before Amber Heard was reportedly “mortified“). Speaking of Amber, her dad said that she and Johnny would marry this fall. It hasn’t happened yet. Will it ever happen?
Anyway. Johnny’s very defensive over his box-office record. More specifically, he claims not to care about his three consecutive box-office bombs. He doesn’t care about critics either. F*** the critics. Perhaps Johnny anticipates the failure of Mortdecai. I watched the trailer again last week, and everyone in the theater was groaning. Not in a good way. But Johnny doesn’t care! He doesn’t need your input or your loyalty. F*** that mess:
The “ephemeral” nature of life: “As Marlon once so beautifully f***ing said to me, life is a birdsong. That’s stuck with me. For everybody, the clock’s ticking. The main thing is whether you sit there and stare at the clock in fear of your ultimate demise–which is pointless–or you just live. Marlon said, ‘Be careful, we only have so many faces in our pockets. I understood what he meant–and he’s right. But I’m not running out, you know?”

| Jennifer Aniston was snubbed for a Spirit Award nomination for 'Cake?: LOL' | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

What happens if, after all of her hair-tossing and hustling, Jennifer Aniston doesn?t even get nominated for anything for Cake? I mean, would that be funny or would the schadenfreude be too heavy and we would actually feel sorry for her? I?ve always side-eyed the manufactured (and bought and paid for) ?Oscar hype? around Aniston?s ?going fug for Oscar? role in Cake, but I thought some awards shows would throw her a bone with a nomination or two. But Aniston couldn?t even wrangle an Independent Spirit Award nomination. Cake was completely shut out of the Spirit Awards!!! Oh well? maybe she?ll get a Golden Globe nomination. Snort.
Another thing that puzzled me about the manufactured Oscar buzz? The fact that a trailer hadn?t been cut and released months ago! It?s the weirdest thing. But maybe it had something to do with the fact that no one had any interest in buying Cake? Maybe it had something to do with the last-minute wrangling to get Cinelou a distribution arm, specifically so they could distribute Cake? Whatever it was, it was a bad decision to let all of these weeks go by without releasing a trailer. They finally released one this week:

It does have a decent cast ? Sam Worthington, Anna Kendrick, Felicity Huffman, Adriana Barraza, Sam Worthington, Mamie Gummer and many more. I wonder? would this film have more legitimate buzz if it starred someone like Julianne Moore? Also: does Aniston?s character have a sexual relationship with Sam Worthington? Hm.

| Anna Kendrick on feminism: 'You just have to fight back and own that word' | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Anna Kendrick has a big part in this year?s Into the Woods, the Rob Marshall-directed Broadway-to-film musical which seems like a big mess. Anna plays Cinderella. And she sings and dances and I think she gets romanced by a douchebag Prince Charming played by Chris Pine? Something like that. Anyway, to promote the film, Anna did a long Q&A session with The Daily Beast ? you can read the full piece here. Some of interview is just blah, Disney shilling and that kind of thing. But there are some interesting parts:
Whether her Cinderella has agency: ?To me, what?s interesting about this particular Cinderella story is that not only does she say, ?Getting a man isn?t everything and I choose something else,? but she?s also saying, ?Just because my lot in life improved a bit doesn?t mean I don?t deserve better.? She goes from being the lowest of the low in society to being a princess, and even though she knows people envy her situation, she chooses ?the unknown? over the ?security? of that situation. And that?s very brave?. there?s something to be said about women standing up for themselves. I know there are women who stay in relationships because they?re afraid of the devil they don?t know, and for somebody who comes from a home of abuse and neglect to marry a prince and then say, ?This is not good enough? I want something authentic? is very brave.
Hand-wringing over feminism: ?It?s hard because words confuse me sometimes. There isn?t a word for a member of an ethnic minority who is pro equal rights for all races, but there is a word for gender equality?and that?s feminism. It?s a very female-centric word. I understand that the implication is that ?I?m a woman who supports women? and not ?I?m a person who supports gender equality.? I feel like the word can be appropriated by the wrong people for that reason and misinterpreted by those people, but you just have to fight back and own that word. It?s practically become a curse word. Somebody says, ?Oh, you?re being such a feminist,? and you?re supposed to be like, ?No I?m not.? Why are we afraid of that word? It exists and we can?t get rid of it, so let?s fight for it and embrace it. That is truly a bummer.
Online misogyny: ?I do get crazy s–t. But I look at some of those girls who are involved in Gamergate and I think, ?I don?t know how they do it. I don?t know how they handle it.? When I?m feeling bad, I look up some of the girls involved in Gamergate and I think, ?You know, I feel very, very lucky and supported.?
Whether she would date a prince in real life: ?Absolutely. That?s my dream. Absolutely. A prince, or a professional athlete. I just worked with the Green Bay Packers, actually, so I?m gettin? into that world. I?m puttin? out feelers. Somebody just take care of me! I hate my job? somebody please just take care of me??
[From The Daily Beast]
Anna also talks about being hacked by The Fappening, but it?s clear she didn?t want to talk about it on the record, and she basically says, hey, a lot of people take those photos and victim-blaming doesn?t help anything. As for her comments on feminism? I think she explained it well. Just because you don?t agree with some people about what ?feminism? means to them, that?s no reason to toss out the word or the concept of gender equality or women?s rights or what have you.

| Cate Blanchett feels judged by the 'mummy mafia' for being a working mum | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Cate Blanchett covers the new issue of Porter Magazine (it?s #6 for those of you who care). I?ve been DYING to see some Blanchett. I?m been missing her so much. I got spoiled last year, seeing her at so many events while she supported what turned out to be her Oscar-winning turn in Blue Jasmine. But since the Oscars, Cate went back underground. We?ve barely seen her in months! So, yes, let?s end our year with some Blanchett Love. As for the Porter photoshoot? it?s not great. I need to see more of her face! And that rose petal photo just looks weird. Some highlights from the interview:
She feels judged by the ‘mummy mafia’ in Sydney: ?You know there?s an extra judgment. You know they?re really observing how you parent. They don?t know that you cram everything in to make space for your kids like any working parent. Playing the lead in a film where you shoot for three months away from home is not an easy thing for me when my children are in school and my husband is running a theatre company. They assume you have a nanny and a driver and a chef. Who gives a sh-t whether I do or not? The fact is I don’t, but you know there is a certain circle of people – and we all get insecure – who then ask, ‘Why can’t she brush her hair?’ You just have to shrug that off.?
But she?s not a big tabloid target: ?We?re really boring. We?ve got three kids; I?m not married to an actor. No one?s interested in us, and that?s part of the reason why we live here ? because nobody gives a s–t.?
On Emma Watson?s UN speech about feminism: ?I was so f–king proud of Emma Watson’s speech at the UN. It was brilliant, such an incredible use of her airspace, and really passionate. It was fantastic.?
On the hacking of private photos: ?It’s horrendous. But there’s hope. There are a lot of things happening in an international sphere, and there are enough women with enough clout to make those shifts happen. Enough is enough. And I hope the Emma Watsons of this world are going to say, ?F?k it.??
Social media: “I’m really fascinated by what we accept and what we ignore and how we process the white noise being shoveled down our throats. It used to be you’d go to the hairdressers and pick up those evil magazines and feel dirty. It’s like watching too much p0rn, I guess.”
[From Porter via The Daily Mail]
Wow, Cate cursed up a storm in this interview. Even though she?s the picture of untouchable elegance on the red carpet, I?ve always sort of imagined that Cate is a fun person to be around. Like, she probably enjoys a good steak and a beer and she loves talking sh-t about people. I would assume that the Mummy Mafia of Sydney isn?t so much ?judging? Cate as worshipping her from a distance. Like, if I saw Cate with unkempt hair and dirty jeans, I would just assume that look was going to be HUGE in the coming months.
Oh, and Cate plays the evil stepmother in the new live-action Cinderella. This movie looks like such a mess, but Cate as the evil stepmother? Funny.
