Here are some photos of Kim Kardashian at the 2024 Met Gala. I saw some fashion talk about how she still represents Balenciaga and yet she didn?t wear anything from her friend Demna (the chief designer). Kim stopped repping Balenciaga a few years back, but she does still wear the brand sometimes. This year, she decided not to destroy a significant vintage gown and instead went with a Maison Margiela custom piece by John Galliano. The point of this is to say ?Kim?s 19-inch waist is snatched.? Indeed, she probably had surgery to get her waist that tiny, plus there?s obviously an intense corseting situation happening here. All in all though, she just looks uncomfortable. In the videos of Kim walking the carpet, she looked absolutely miserable and like she couldn?t even breathe properly. What women do for fashion, huh?
I also have to wonder if the cardigan was always part of the plan. The way she was clutching it in a particular way, it makes me wonder if something on the dress broke and the cardigan was a quick fix. Her hair also needs a quick fix she went back to blonde last week and I knew she was doing it for the Met Gala. Congrats, it looks like sh-t. Stop frying your hair!

Nicole Kidmans black and white Balenciaga gown didnt seem on theme to me when I first saw it, but she said it was a tribute to the Sleeping Beauties theme in that it was a remake of a 1951 Balenciaga gown she saw in a photo, recreated by their current creative director, Demna. (The Met Gala exhibit contains so many fragile and archival gowns that were reawakened for display.) In that respect its an incredible gown and who wouldnt want to wear this? Imagine seeing a gorgeous 70-year-old gown and asking for it to be remade for you. Nicole was clearly enjoying the drama of it all too! Queen.
Fellow fashion goddess Isabelle Huppert was in cream satin Balenciaga that had a long flowing train. She looked so gorgeous and regal. Look at the details on this gown, it looks like a separate top and skirt. Her face says she doesnt want to be there though. I get it. I would be tired after all that.

It genuinely shocked me to see how many celebrities interpreted ?The Garden of Time? to mean ?metallics, icy, sand/beige, silver and white.? I think most people were expecting florals, colorful looks and interesting vintage. That?s not what we got. Jennifer Lopez, one of the Met Gala co-chairs, kind of got it wrong. That being said, this is one of her best red carpet looks in a while. J.Lo went with a custom Schiaparelli Couture and this is very sexy, flattering, all of it. I wish her makeup had been different, but overall, I really liked this.
Chris Hemsworth was another co-chair who did not really go for the theme. Chris and Elsa Pataky both wore Tom Ford, and Elsa wore a crown. Just? boring, really. The more I look at Chris?s look, the more Miami Vice it seems.
Phoebe Dynevor went for a woodland fairy vibe in this Victoria Beckham. I thought she looked cute, honestly. She wasn?t shooting for the moon, she just wanted to look pretty and she wanted something sort of comfortable.

Busy Philipps strikes me as someone who is always hustling, which I can?t hate on. Right now, she?s starring in the third season of Girls 5Eva on Netflix. (Side note: Girls 5Eva is such a great comedy; I totally recommend it. The full series is 22 episodes, 30 minutes each.) In addition to promoting G5E, Busy is also, uh, busy talking up her new talk show, Busy This Week, which premieres on May 8 at 10:00 p.m. ET on QVC+. This weekly talk show is 30-minutes long and its premise is ?Busy on the couch to get an unscripted take on whatever has kept us busy this week. From celebrity guest interviews and laugh-out-loud moments to personal stories and her favorite curated shopping finds, Busy will give her audience a healthy dose of [retail] therapy.?
But those are the only two projects that Busy has going on right now. She?s also a new spokesperson for the ADHD medication Qelbree. Five years ago, both Busy and her older daughter Birdie were diagnosed with ADHD. In a recent interview with USA Today, Busy spoke more about her diagnosis, including her personal symptoms, how it felt to suddenly have a reasoning behind some of her behavior patterns, and finding a treatment that works for her.
You may think it?s just part of being a parent, thinking you?re overwhelmed constantly. But If you?re struggling and feeling bad about yourself because you?re constantly forgetting things, its worth taking two hours for yourself to invest in your own mental health, and figure out whats actually going on,? Philipps, 44, tells USA TODAY over a Zoom call from New York.
When Philipps daughter Birdie, now 15, was having issues in school, a doctor in Los Angeles started talking to her and ex-husband Marc Silverstein about Birdie and ADHD. The symptoms sounded too familiar.
My ex-husband and I just started looking at each other because I checked every single box at the highest level,? she says. For years, Philipps thought there was something wrong with her. That she didn?t have follow-through, was lazy or forgetful. Hollywood labeled her ?ditzy.?
I allowed that, especially in my teen years, to be a word that was used to describe me,? she says, ?Im actually not at all ditzy, Im super focused, and Im really highly productive and I have great ideas. I just had a struggle my whole life with follow-through with making sure I could prioritize them.
It manifested as low self-esteem; she?d grow jealous of people who seemed to be productive and keep dates and times straight when she couldn?t even write things down correctly. In her 20s and 30s she used to show up 40 minutes early and hang out in her car ? just to make sure she wasn?t late.
I could not figure out how to be on time, because I would get distracted,? she says.
ADHD shows up differently for girls and women, with symptoms like Philipps?: trouble focusing and keeping organized and maintaining interest. For boys and men, hyperactive and impulsive symptoms are more common. That?s why many girls and women may be underdiagnosed, therefore untreated. Treatments can range from medication to behavior and lifestyle management, according to Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD).
After Birdie?s diagnosis Philipps found a doctor of her own and tried out different treatments, ultimately improving both her productivity and how she felt about herself. She currently takes Qelbree, a non-stimulant ADHD treatment approved for adults in 2022; she?s now a paid spokesperson for the brand.
Beyond the medication, though, she has other coping mechanisms: She always writes things down in a notebook and maintains a big calendar in her house with important dates and times. While she appreciates people are discussing mental health all over TikTok and Instagram ? and she learned details about ADHD symptoms she didn?t know before ? she reminds fans that her ADHD diagnosis and treatment plan came from a doctor, not an influencer.
We all have to be critical thinkers,? she says, ?and we all have to be able to understand that the internet is not the be-all, end-all of everything and sometimes not even the most truthful information.

I feel all of this so hard because I was also diagnosed with ADHD in my late 30s. Similar to Busy, my catalyst for getting tested was Mr. Rosie suspecting that our son has it. That research made him realize that I checked most of the boxes as well. He used to joke that I always did things ?at 100% for 80% of the time,? meaning that I was super productive until it was time for the follow-through. I?m glad that Busy also got her diagnosis, treatment, and peace of mind. I like that although she?s being paid to talk about her treatment, she stresses that you need to figure out the different things that work best for you. Prior to my diagnosis, I started bullet journaling because I found that the routine and accountability helped me stay on track, even if there are days that my brain just won?t start, despite knowing what had to be done.
Like Busy, I also used to feel really down on myself, wondering why I couldn?t do something until the very last minute (?I?m a night owl!? ?I thrive under pressure!?) or that I needed to finish a project in one sitting or else I?d lose motivation and never get back to it. Honestly, I still get frustrated with myself some days. Finding out that nothing was ?wrong? with me, that it was just that my brain works differently, was an incredible feeling. There are a lot of online resources to help identify the symptoms, and seeing someone and being prescibed medication can truly can be life-changing. If you?re on the fence about getting tested, I totally understand. Give yourself some grace, and for that matter, please remember that you never know what others may be going through because if youre going through something, the chances are that youre not alone.

As mentioned last week, Madonna has come to the end of her Celebration Tour. After 80 ticketed shows, two continents, and two lawsuits for starting late (resolutions still pending), all that was left was a free concert in Rio on May 4. And how did it go? An estimated 1.6 million people attended last Saturday?s show. We?ll never know how much it was the power of Madonna, the appeal of free tickets, or some combination of both. But reports indicate that the revelry was joyful in the days leading up to the concert and on the night of, when Madge took to the stage only 52 minutes late! That?s basically on time for her, right? Associated Press captured highlights of the scene at Copacabana beach:
Madonna takes a bow: Madonna put on a free concert on Copacabana beach Saturday night, turning Rio de Janeiro?s vast stretch of sand into an enormous dance floor teeming with a multitude of her fans. ? Huge cheers rose from the buzzing, tightly packed crowd, pressed up against the barriers. Others held house parties in brightly lighted apartments and hotels overlooking the beachfront. Helicopters and drones flew overhead, and motorboats and sailboats anchored off the beach filled the bay. ?Here we are in the most beautiful place in the world,? Madonna, 65, told the crowd. Pointing out the ocean view, the mountains and the Christ the Redeemer statue overlooking the city, she added: ?this place is magic.?
Madge?s previous audience record was broken: An estimated 1.6 million people attended the show, G1 reported, citing Rio City Hall?s tourism agency. That is more than 10 times Madonna?s record attendance of 130,000 at Paris? Parc des Sceaux in 1987. Madonna?s official website hyped the show as the biggest ever in her four-decade career.
Copacabana beach got into the groove: In recent days, the buzz was palpable. Fans milled outside that stately, beachfront Copacabana Palace hotel, where Madonna is staying, hoping to catch a glimpse of the pop star. During the sound check on the stage set up in front of the hotel, they danced on the sand. ? Flags with ?Madonna? printed against a background of Copacabana?s iconic black and white waved sidewalk pattern hung from balconies. The area was packed with street vendors and concert attendees kitted out in themed T-shirts, sweating under a baking sun. ? Eighteen sound towers were spread along the beach to ensure that all attendees can hear the hits. Her two-hour show started at 10:37 p.m. local time, nearly 50 minutes behind schedule.
Rio followed NYE holiday planning: Organization of the mega-event was similar to New Year?s Eve, when millions of people gather on Copacabana for its fireworks display, local authorities said. That annual event often produces widespread thefts and muggings, and there was some concern such problems might occur at Madonna?s show. Rio state?s security plan included the presence of 3,200 military personnel and 1,500 civilian police officers on stand by. In the lead-up to the concert, Brazil?s navy inspected vessels that wished to position themselves offshore to follow the show.
A fan justifies her love: Ana Beatriz Soares, a fan who was at Copacabana on Saturday said Madonna has made her mark across the decades. ?Madonna had to run so that today?s pop artists could walk. That?s why she?s important, because she serves as an inspiration for today?s pop divas,? Soares said.

You guys, I know there may be a second language issue here, but I am positively howling at the statement, ?Madonna had to run so that today?s pop artists could walk.? We have to keep it, it?s too good! So instead of paving the way for artists to follow, Madonna flew high so that others could trudge after her? I think Madonna would (not so) secretly endorse this twist on the popular phrase. I can just see her going, ?Hey Gaga, I ran so you could walk!? Anyway, it sounds like it was everything you?d want for a final show, with millions of fans excited to be there. And I guess having the concert be free somehow removed the pressure for Madge to start on time. At least that?s what I?m going with. Or Rio really is magical enough that even Madonna can begin within an hour of the scheduled start time (which was 9:45pm). Lastly, kudos to the AP writer for subtly referencing the Christ the Redeemer statue in an article about 1.6 million people turning out to worship a pop idol. The devil?s in the details.

Anne Hathaway covers the latest issue of V Magazine, all to promote The Idea of You, the romance where her single-mother character is pursued by a Harry Styles-type rock star. Her character has bangs (sob) but otherwise, it seems like it was a fun role for Anne and she?s enjoying the promotion as well. She chatted with V about fashion, a potential Princess Diaries trilogy, and what it was like to work with her Idea of You costar Nicholas Galitzine. Some highlights:
She doesn?t truly identify as a fashion person. ?I really don?t. I view myself more as a guest. I think it?d be an insult to someone whose education revolved around it, whose life revolves around it, who has done a full fashion cycle in multiple cities as opposed to just, like, getting invited to a show and an after-party. I think there?s a degree of stamina and schlepping involved in being a proper fashion person. I?m very grateful to be a guest. I mean, I?ve studied it, but it?s informal. I?m aware of the history. I love fashion photography. And I?ve been welcomed for a long time and been shown great kindness and generosity by people whose lives it is. But I?m an actress first.?
The Idea of You: ?It is this story about a single mother fully embracing her sexuality at a time in her life and a woman?s life where, traditionally, we begin to be erased.?
Her 20-something costar Nicholas Galitzine: ?We had met a number of young men already, but I remember laughing when Nick walked in because he was so ridiculously perfect for the part. I just thought, he is it. Is he gonna be able to read the lines? Read the lines, great. Okay, can you sing? Oh, my God, he can sing. Wait and he can play the guitar? Okay, and he?s just fun to be around. He?s just charming. Like, he?s just charmed this entire room.?
The old-school chemistry tests. ?Back in the 2000s?and this did happen to me?it was considered normal to ask an actor to make out with other actors to test for chemistry. Which is actually the worst way to do it. I was told, ?We have ten guys coming today and you?re cast. Aren?t you excited to make out with all of them?? And I thought, ?Is there something wrong with me?? because I wasn?t excited. I thought it sounded gross. And I was so young and terribly aware how easy it was to lose everything by being labeled ?difficult,? so I just pretended I was excited and got on with it. It wasn?t a power play, no one was trying to be awful or hurt me. It was just a very different time and now we know better.?
How they did new chemistry tests: ?We asked each of the actors coming in to choose a song that they felt their character would love, that they would put on to get my character to dance, and then we?d do a short little improv. I was sitting in a chair like we had come in from dinner or a walk or something, we pressed play, and we just started dancing together.? What band did Nick pick? ?The Alabama Shakes. And it was just easy. I heard [the lead singer of Alabama Shake?s] Brittany?s voice and I just started smiling. And he saw me smile, so he relaxed, and we just started dancing. Nobody was showing off. Nobody was trying to get the gig. We were just in a space dancing. I looked over and Michael Showalter, our director, was beaming. Spark!?
A third installment of The Princess Diaries series? ?We?re in a good place. That?s all I can say. There?s nothing to announce yet. But we?re in a good place.? What about the Devil Wears Prada 2? ?Probably not. We all love each other and if somebody could come up with a way to do it, I think we?d all be crazy not to. But there?s a huge difference in the world now with technology, and one of the things about that particular story is it was about producing a physical object. Now with so much being digital, it would just be very different. Maybe me, Stanley, Emily, Meryl, Dave Frankel, Patricia Field?we should just all do something else together. That?d be fun.?
She loves her character in The Idea of You: ?One of the points that the movie makes is something that really resonates with me: We have limited ideas of appropriate ways for women to be happy. And we react harshly and punitively when we feel that women have stepped outside those boundaries. I think that needs to stop, so I made a movie about it. I loved getting to play a character who has to come up against what the world thinks about her, how they?ve judged her, and decides to choose her own happiness. There?s this line where her ex-husband who left her, who is clearly threatened by her new choices, tries to shame her by saying: ?Do you even know what people are saying about you?? And you know what her response is? ?No.? Period. I just loved that.?

I liked that last point so much because it?s soooo true. ?We have limited ideas of appropriate ways for women to be happy.? Those boundaries are enforced harshly, although it does feel like those boundaries change and widen over time. That being said, the whole premise of the movie feels so unlikely because those boundaries are ?enforced? by women and men. In this situation, it wouldn?t just be the case where the ?older woman? was being criticized and mocked the younger guy would be getting tons of sh-t as well.

Britney Spears is not doing well. She hasn?t been doing well for a while. It?s difficult to discuss, given that we don?t know Britney?s medical/mental condition right now. From the outside looking in, it feels like she?s currently in a ?manic? state. She is the chaos, and chaos surrounds her. Britney is currently seeing Paul Soliz, a man with a lengthy rap sheet. Wednesday night, Britney and Soliz went to the Chateau Marmont to party. According to TMZ, there was some kind of disturbance, likely in the public area of the hotel, and Britney was possibly ?harassing and threatening hotel employees.? Police were called to the scene and they saw nothing. Britney and Soliz then checked into a hotel room ?where they continued partying and drinking. While they were in the room they ended up getting into a huge altercation that were told turned physical, according to sources, and Britney may have hurt her leg.? Here?s more from Page Six:
First responders responded to an incident involving Britney Spears at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles early Thursday morning, Page Six can confirm. Sources familiar with the pop star tell us the incident stemmed from a fight she had with her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Paul Richard Soliz, at the luxe hotel.
Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson Brian Humphrey confirms to Page Six that an ambulance was called to the Chateau Marmont around 12:42 a.m. PT.
?We received a 911 call reporting an adult female, who had been injured,? the LAFD rep says. ?The caller did not have much information regarding the nature of the injury. We sent one ambulance to the location.?
We?re told the emergency response vehicle was at the scene until 1:17 a.m. PT. Only the fire department responded to the call, and police were not on the scene. Humphrey adds, ?It?s not clear from the reports? whether first responders ?offered any treatment,? but notes that they ?did not transport anyone to the hospital.?
A source also tells us Spears, who lives in nearby Thousand Oaks, Calif., left with security, adding that she is ?home now and is safe.? A separate source close to Spears, 42, reaffirms, ?She is home and fine.?
Photos obtained by Page Six show the ?Piece of Me? singer holding a pillow while outside of the Chateau Marmont, with Soliz standing beside her wearing a blue flannel shirt, black jeans, a cap and sneakers. A first responder can also be seen in the images, holding a stretcher and leaving the scene, as Spears looks in the direction of the paparazzi cameras. She appeared to be surrounded by bodyguards.
Following the incident, sources tell Page Six exclusively that Spears? friends are still very much concerned about her relationship with Soliz, with one pal saying, ?He?s been bad news from the start.? Page Six broke the news in August 2023 that Spears was ?getting close? with Soliz, her former housekeeper, but insiders also shared at the time that they were concerned given his criminal past. Court records we previously obtained showed he had been charged with multiple misdemeanors and even a felony, including possession of a firearm.

I wonder if Britney?s security was there the whole time, or if she and Soliz arrived at Marmont with zero security and then Britney called them when she was partying in the hotel room and things went sideways? It really sounds like her security swooped in and got her the hell out of there before there was an even bigger incident. Meanwhile, Britney posted this on her Instagram:

It looks like Britney Spears and her team and clearing away all of her outstanding legal issues this week. Just days after Britney reached a settlement with her father over a financial dispute, Britney has now settled her divorce from Sam Asghari. Sam filed for divorce last August, in what was a pretty sudden split. He moved out of her house and there was a stream of awful stories about Britney, all leaked to TMZ. Reportedly, Britney cheated on Sam and physically assaulted him and he had enough. The leaks to TMZ were likely some kind of play on Sam?s part, given that he signed a strict prenup and was likely angling for a generous out-of-court settlement with an NDA attached. That?s probably what he got.
Britney Spears has settled her divorce with Sam Asghari this nearly a year after Sam filed to pull the plug TMZ has learned. Britney and Sam filed a Stipulated Judgment, obtained by TMZ, along with her response to Sams divorce petition, filed by her lawyer, disso queen Laura Wasser. The judge should sign off soon, and when that happens the marriage will official be history.
As we reported, Britney and Sam have a prenup, which essentially leaves Sam with nothing. TMZ broke the story, Britney has paid Sams rent at his new place. Although we reported earlier the plan was for her to cut him a 6-figure check, we dont know if that happened.
Sam filed back in August 14 months after they tied the knot at her Thousand Oaks home citing irreconcilable differences. There were rumblings from Sams lawyer, Neal Hersh, that the fitness trainer would contest the prenup, but that didnt materialize.
As for why the marriage fizzled, sources told us Sam believed Britney cheated on him with a staff member at her house saying theres footage out there of them in a compromising position. We were also told Britney had gotten physical with Sam during their time together and one time, Brit flipped out and started punching him while he was in his bed. Around the same time as this alleged incident, Sam was spotted with a black eye and bite marks on his arm.

Yeah, the fact that TMZ doesn?t have Sam?s side of the divorce story kind of tells me that Britney DID cut him a check and that he likely signed an NDA weeks/months ago. That is the most reasonable explanation and I also think it?s the best option for both Britney and Sam. While their marriage was brief, Sam and Britney were together for years and he truly helped her shake off her abusive conservatorship and get the kind of legal help she desperately needed. I hope he got some money to start the next phase of his life.

A few days ago, Kim Kardashian made a dramatic hair change. She went back to ?icy blonde? and cut her hair/took out her extensions. The new hair color does nothing for her, but the point is that something happened recently which made Kim decide to give herself a big makeover. We?ve just learned what that something is she and Odell Beckham Jr. apparently ?fizzled out.? Kim did a ?breakup blonde? makeover. I barely remembered that Kim and Odell were together, and they mostly avoided being photographed together. They were seen on Oscar night, after the Vanity Fair Oscar party. Kim also attended his blowout birthday party last fall. So they were dating (or whatever) for about seven months.
Kim Kardashian and Odell Beckham Jr. are going their separate ways.
It?s over and just fizzled out, a source tells PEOPLE of the pair, who were first linked in September 2023.
The split comes after the SKIMS founder, 43, and the Baltimore Ravens wide receiver, 31, were spotted exiting the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscar Party together in March. At the time, a source told PEOPLE that they were ?hanging out pretty much all night once he got there.
There wasnt a ton of PDA like some of the other couples, but there was a lot of touching, and they were right near each other the entire time,? the insider added. ?They were careful about not being too all over each other, but there was lots of chemistry, and they left together.?

TMZ got the breakup confirmation at the same time as People Mag thank you, Kris Jenner. TMZ?s sources say that Kim and Odell have just phased into a friendship and there?s no bad blood (ha). They still respect each other, no one?s bad-mouthing anyone. Which sounds fine Odell was seen out with another woman a few weeks ago, so maybe that was it. Or maybe they were never super-exclusive in the first place. Kim making sure that everyone knows she?s single ahead of the Met Gala is so funny. Is she going to try to find a new boyfriend there?
