This Joe Jonas-Sophie Turner story is so weird. TMZ got the ball rolling during the Labor Day weekend, a time when celebrities would dump their bad news and hope that people aren?t paying attention. But TMZ?s report wasn?t ?Joe and Sophie are definitely over and he?s filed for divorce.? It was more like: Joe has been meeting with divorce lawyers, he?s mad about taking care of his children, Sophie isn?t around?? Like, was this a real split announcement or was this a warning shot from Joe to Sophie? It does feel more like things are unsettled between them but that it?s not completely broken. Here?s People Magazine?s reporting, and keep in mind, People wouldn?t write this unless they got the nod from Joe?s publicist:
After being both off and on, Joe Jonas wedding band was back on his finger Sunday night. The singer, 34, was pictured sporting his ring during a Jonas Brothers concert in Austin, Texas, amid the news that he?s retained a divorce lawyer after four years of marriage to his wife Sophie Turner.
In a series of photos posted by Pop Crave on Twitter, now known as X, Jonas? gold wedding band could be clearly seen on his left hand as he performed on stage at the Moody Center.
A source confirmed the news of Jonas retaining a divorce lawyer to PEOPLE on Saturday.
Jonas was pictured without his wedding ring on Aug. 11 while picking up an iced coffee in New York City.
As reported by the New York Posts Page Six, Jonas also sang a love song he wrote for Turner during the stop on the band?s North American tour.

People are mad at me for supporting Christine Baumgartner in her divorce drama with Kevin Costner! I get it, Christine comes across as somewhat ridiculous in much of the coverage. But I am on her side it?s clear that Costner was financially abusing her for years, all to keep her entirely dependent on him. Now that she?s broken free, he?s doing what all abusers do: punishing her, humiliating her and nickel-and-diming her. You also have to remember that part of the reason why Christine looks ridiculous in the coverage is because Costner has a world-class PR team and crisis management team, because he learned from what happened during his first divorce. In any case, Christine and Kevin were in court last week for a child support hearing. Christine wanted the court to order Costner to pay roughly $168K a month in child support. He countered with an offer of $60K a month and he told Christine to get a job. The judge agreed with him. Christine is getting hosed by this judge, ISTG.
Kevin Costner just found out how big of a check he has to cut to his estranged wife Christine Baumgartner each month for child support and hes going to be happy. The judge in Kevin and Christines divorce ruled Friday that Kevins going to be forking over $63,209 thats exactly what he said was appropriate. $63k is less than half of what she was getting in temporary support $129k. And remember, she originally asked for $248k a month.
During Fridays hearing, Kevin took the stand and answered some questions from his lawyer, Disso Queen Laura Wasser, saying Somehow in this unusual world we didnt make it and Im sorry. Kevin said his biggest concern going into the relationship with Christine was having kids and getting divorced because he had 3 kids with his first wife and got divorced. Kevin and Christine ended up having 3 kids and getting divorced too.
Remember Christine originally asked for $248,000 a month in child support, but Kevin claimed she was padding the bill simply because he could afford it with Costner claiming the actual amount she needs for their kids is around $51k a month. In the end, the judge went closer to Kevins figure.
The actors testimony also featured Kevin saying he wanted to pass his properties down to his kids and he said, I dont hide money from my wife.

He was mad at her for buying a car before she filed for divorce, that?s how much he was controlling her financially. He?s mad that one of their friends let her borrow money, that?s how much he was controlling her financially. Anyway, I can guarantee that Christine isn?t going to get the prenup nullified either. So she?s going to have to ?make do? with the $1 million she got from the prenup, plus the $63K a month in child support and that?s it. Ten bucks says this judge will tell her that she has to pay for her lawyers and Kevin?s lawyers too.

An underrated indicator that a couple is headed for divorce: when a tall wife stops caring about her shorter husband?s feelings and starts wearing high heels around him. I apologize to all of the short kings out there, but it?s true. In every photo of Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas in the past year, she?s wearing sky-high heels and towering over him in photos. The marriage was doomed! Sophie and Joe have been together since 2016 she was 20 years old at the time and starring in one of the biggest shows in the world. Joe was a 27 year old pop star at the time. I honestly thought Sophie was way too young to jump into a serious relationship/marriage at that point, but they did get married (in 2019) and they had two children in 2020 and 2022. It sounds like the marriage kind of fell apart soon after they welcomed their second kid.

Our sources say the couple has had serious problems for at least 6 months. Were told over the last 3 months, Joe has been caring for their 2 young children pretty much all of the time, even as his band was touring. Were told Joe currently has both kids, as the group plays around the U.S.
On the surface, it seems theres been no outward signs of trouble. Joe and Sophie have attended events together. However, in recent weeks Joe has been seen not wearing his ring. And they recently sold their Miami mansion. They bought that place just a year ago and sold it fairly quickly, for a decent profit.
Joe and Sophie first linked up in 2016 and got engaged a year later. In 2019, they were married Vegas-style and have been living the family life ever since quickly welcoming their first kid in 2020 and another in 2022. A lot has happened for them in 4 years.
Professionally, Joe and Sophie have been busy mostly JJ, though. Hes gone on tour with his brothers recently and is scheduled to perform through the winter. Sophies done some TV/movie stuff in recent years but isnt nearly as active as she was during her GoT days.

It honestly took me a good ten minutes to figure out what the hell was happening here. At first, I thought Hailey Bieber was being paid to shill Krispy Kreme donuts and I was like ?I would do that for free.? Then I thought Hailey was launching her new Rhode products AT Krispy Kreme, and I was like ?you can rent out a Krispy Kreme for product launches??? OMG!? But now I get it Hailey has done a ?collaboration? with Krispy Kreme and her Rhode label. Basically, Hailey is offering Rhode peptide lip treatments in Krispy Kreme flavors, and Krispy Kreme is bringing back Strawberry Glazed Donuts in association with their Rhode collab. Truly, we all win here.
So, these photos are of HAILEY and Justin BIEBER going into a Krispy Kreme in New York and just? talking with staff and posing for photos. Hailey was all dolled up in a great red (?strawberry?) minidress, while Justin wore Crocs, shorts, a hoodie and a baseball cap. He really made a point of not dressing up for her event, although he did promote her sh-t on his Instagram. Are you getting some kind of vibe from them? The vibe I get from her is that she?s increasingly embarrassed to be seen with her perpetually underdressed husband. After the trip to Krispy Kreme, they went to lunch at Bar Pitti. She booked it out of the restaurant too, like they had a fight.

The Venice Film Festival begins tomorrow, followed closely by Telluride and then Toronto. I?ve waxed poetic before about the impeccable conduct of actors and union leaders during the strike, and now that Tepid Film Festival Fall is officially underway, I am very eager to see the next phase play out. I feel like the tone may be about to shift, given that there?s so much business involved with the festivals. This may be why we saw SAG-AFTRA President Fran Drescher record a composed, if somewhat sober interview last week. Back in the day, Angelina Jolie loved being in London, and she did a lot of work there. She was made a Dame by QEII for her work with refugees and survivors of sexual violence. She ended up having meetings with (now) Queen Camilla, the Archbishop of Canterbury and she had tea with Prince William and Kate. This post isn?t about Angelina, but I was reminded of that ?tea? back in 2015, because it was so random. It sounded like William and Kate cold-called Angelina and Brad Pitt and invited them to Kensington Palace for no other reason than to stargaze. It made me wonder how many other celebrities William and Kate have desperately tried to meet, only to be turned down. It looks like Dolly Parton is one of those celebrities.
Dolly Parton has revealed the hilarious reason why she turned down an invitation for tea with the Princess of Wales. The country singer, 77, explained she received the coveted invitation from Kate Middleton, 41, whilst she was in London for work.
Whilst sharing her love of the capital, the Jolene singer admitted she almost brushed shoulders with the residents of Buckingham Palace, but unfortunately couldnt go.
Dolly said during an appearance on BBC Radio 2: This time, Lordy, I even got invited to have tea with Kate but I couldnt even go. I thought it was very sweet and nice of her to invite me and one of these days Im going to get to do that ? that would be great.
Then, in true Dolly Parton style, she cracked a joke as to what made her decline Kates invite. She said: But she wasnt going to promote my rock album so I had to say no.
She explained her regret at not having explored more of the city while on tour, but concluded she didnt ever have enough time to play tourist.

?The coveted invitation? like, we have no idea how frequently or infrequently William and Kate entertain, but as a long-time royal watcher, it definitely feels like they don?t have many friends and they aren?t socializing or throwing parties, nor are they known for being particularly nice or generous hosts. They practically turn the lights off and hide out when the pre-BAFTA dinner is held at Kensington Palace. How many times did they mooch dinner off of Harry and Meghan? Ever since then, Ariana?s team has gotten high marks and she?s been pretty scandal-free. Then she started banging her married costar Ethan Slater and she dumped her husband simultaneously. Suddenly, it was amateur hour from Ari?s team as they navigated a quickie divorce storyline while also rolling out a series of lies about when she and Ethan started. Ethan?s wife started talking and it became a huge PR disaster for her. So, where was Scooter Braun, her manager? On vacation. And that?s apparently why Ariana is dropping Scooter.
Ariana Grande?s team were reportedly unhappy with Scooter Braun after he allegedly refused to cut his vacation short and help tackle the media storm surrounding her rumoured relationship with Wicked costar Ethan Slater.
Grande is among the music stars to have reportedly cut ties with the music manager in recent months. The Independent understands that Demi Lovato and Frozen star Idina Menzel have parted ways with Braun?s SB Projects, while Justin Bieber is also reportedly seeking legal advice to end his contract with the mega-manager. So far none of the artists have responded publicly to the reports. Braun appeared to mock the rumours earlier this week by joking that he was ?no longer managing himself?.
In a new report on Friday (25 August), Puck writer Matthew Belloni, who first reported news of Grande?s exit, claimed that tensions with the ?thank u, next? singer were amplified by Braun?s reaction to her relationship controversy earlier this year.
In his report, Belloni writes that Grande?s team wanted Braun to fly from his holiday in Europe to New York in order to help quell the media furore, which he reportedly refused to do.
?I deserve a vacation,? Braun is said to have told Grande?s team, according to Belloni?s sources.
The Independent has contacted Braun and Grande?s representatives for comment.

Ariana fked up her PR and instead of working with the managers Braun put in place at SB Projects, Ariana threw a tantrum that a billionaire CEO wouldn?t cut off his vacation just to rescue her from her self-made catastrophe? Yeah, I?m on Braun?s side here. It?s not like he?s the Ariana-whisperer either she?s 30 years old, she has her own dedicated team PLUS the SB Projects team. That?s easily 20 people, all of whom could have helped crisis-manage this situation. It?s actually insane that she wanted Braun to cut off his vacation for THAT.

I?m sort of quietly fine with Hailey Bieber. She?s not my fave or anything, but I believe she gets so much unnecessary hate and online drama from Selena Gomez?s fans. All Hailey did was marry Justin Bieber when he proposed. That?s it. You would think that Selena and her fans would feel like ?thank god, he?s moved on.? They don?t. It?s also clear that Justin adores Hailey and that she?s a very stable person, which is what Justin needs. Anyway, Hailey has her skincare line, Rhode, and she models and she?s Justin?s wife. Hailey recently spoke to the Sunday Times about all of that and more. Some highlights:
Hailey & Justin love to throw gatherings: ?The Biebers love to host. We had a Super Bowl party this year. I really love to cook.? Does she have a go-to dish? ?I like to do some sort of pasta and a protein ? whether it?s salmon or chicken. There?s something ?really joyful about people consuming your food? I like to take care of people.?
On her skincare line, Rhode: ?Skincare is a real-life commitment for me. To this day my nana is obsessed with great skin products. She would take me to the mall and get all the samples.? Although Bieber plans to continue modelling she describes Rhode as a ?primary focus?. ?It?s my favourite thing I?ve ever done. It has exceeded my wildest expectations.?
Her fresh-faced aesthetic. ?As I?ve gotten older I?ve realised how much more comfortable I feel with just fresh skin and brushed-up brows,? she says. On all of the hate & nonsense she gets online: When I broach the subject today, Bieber?s publicist interjects, telling me to move on. Whatever the truth about her relationship with Gomez, the toxic analysis of it does both women a disservice. While Gomez remains unfairly defined by a relationship she left years ago, Bieber is arguably the victim of mass-scale online bullying that no amount of money or fame can insulate her from. When Bieber later states that she has ?accepted? there?s ?no winning ever? when it comes to the internet?s perception of her, I can?t help but feel for her.
The possibility of Baby Biebers: At some point baby Biebers will be on the cards. How does she feel about bringing children into her extremely privileged yet public life? ?I literally cry about this all the time! I want kids so bad but I get scared. It?s enough that people say things about my husband or my friends. I can?t imagine having to confront people saying things about a child. We can only do the best we can to raise them. As long as they feel loved and safe.?
She is not a regular churchgoer: ?I don?t remember the last time I went to church on a Sunday. [For me] it?s not about having to go to a service on a certain day of the week. It?s more about loving who?s in front of you. I could be sitting at home on Tuesday watching a live stream of a service and that?s church. Having friends over for dinner and just loving each other is church for me.?

I remember reading Hailey and Justin?s dual interviews when they first got engaged and married, and it was actually pretty clear why Hailey wasn?t focused on having a baby right away because Justin still needed to figure sh-t out in his life and Hailey wasn?t looking to take care of a baby and a husband. I wonder if she still feels like that? I don?t know. I respect the fact that she?s waiting though. Here?s a fun story to start off your week. The Cutest Celebrity Couple, Zendaya and Tom Holland, were spotted playing basketball at an Oakland, California middle school over the weekend. They were there alongside actor and basketball player Elvin Rodriguez, Harlem Globetrotters player Sam Diaz, former Bachelorette contestant Christon Staples, and more as a part of an event organized by local nonprofits. Pictures and videos show them shooting hoops, making speeches, doing tricks, and hugging children.
Celebrity couple and Spider-Man costars Zendaya and Tom Holland made a surprise visit to an Oakland middle school on Friday, where they showed off some basketball skills to a crowd of onlookers.
Photos and videos posted to Zendayas Instagram story show the pair in her hometown, attending a basketball game at West Oakland Middle School. They were there as part of a event organized by local nonprofits Hoopbus and Project Backboard.
In Zendayas story, Holland is seen dribbling a basketball and wearing a T-shirt by local clothing brand Oaklandish that reads, Oakland Roots. A video posted by Hustle actor and basketball player Elvin Rodriguez shows Zendaya assisting him with a layup on the court.
Another video posted by Regular Hoops shows Harlem Globetrotters player Sam Diaz teaching Holland how to spin a basketball.
Hoopbus operates out of a retrofitted 40-foot yellow school bus that is driven around the country. Members teach students about racism and racial inequalities via basketball demonstrations. Project Backboard renovates basketball courts at public schools using colorful, large-scale artwork.
I just came to say hi to all of you, see your beautiful faces, and have a great time, Zendaya said in a speech given to the crowd.
Zendaya was raised in Oakland and attended Oakland School for the Arts.

I love this so much! I checked out Zendaya?s, Rodriguez?s, and a bunch of other Instagram accounts that posted pictures and stories from the event over the weekend and it looked like everyone was having a blast. Personally, I really enjoy stories like this, where lowkey celebs show up to a community event, don?t act like divas or a-holes, raise money or awareness for a good cause, and don?t have any ulterior motive. Bonus points if they have ties to the community.
Tom and Zendaya have reportedly been together since 2021. They keep their relationship pretty private by Hollywood standards and never seem thirsty for attention. I don?t think they walk a lot of red carpets together, either, which respect but I wish they would! It looks like the most public thing they tend to do is comment on each other?s Instagram posts with lovey-dovey emojis. I do hope they start doing more things like this together. It makes me like them even as a couple even more than I do now.
