Life is a mystery. Everyone must stand alone. Unless you use AI to generate photos of yourself standing next to the Pope. Standing very close next to the Pope. Which is what Madonna did on Friday night, posting two images to her Instagram where she and Pope Francis are embracing, with the odd captions, ?Going into the weekend like?? for one, and ?Feels good go be seen?? for the other. But just like a dream, these pics are not what they seem. In both ?photos,? Miss Madge is scantily-clad in lacey black while Francis complements her in papal white. While Madame X dressing provocatively isn?t anything new, her unsuspectingly dragging the head of the Catholic Church into a couple of intimate-looking poses has plenty of people upset. Let the choir sing:
The first photo depicted the pope, 87, hugging the ?Frozen? singer, 66, from the side with a huge smile across his face. His nose was pressed against her cheek.
?Going into the weekend like?? she captioned the head-turning snap.
The second image showed Madonna in a lacy corset with Pope Francis seemingly going in for a kiss as he wrapped one arm around her waist.
?Feels Good to Be Seen??? the ?Like a Virgin? singer penned atop the second snap.
Social media users were quick to slam Madonna over the images, with one calling her actions ?ridiculously disrespectful.?
Another person wrote via X that the ?Vogue? singer?s post was ?creepy,? while a third unamused individual said, ?This is just weird as hell? she?s lost it.?
?Disgusting! I pray her soul gets saved!? another critic seemingly shouted from behind their screen.
Page Six reached out to Madonna?s reps for comment on the backlash but did not immediately hear back.
The seven-time Grammy winner is no stranger to stirring up controversy, however, as she had done so several times throughout her career.
The Vatican once suggested that people boycott Madonna?s Blond Ambition World Tour due to her 1989 ?Like a Prayer? music video, per Entertainment Tonight.
The controversial video featured her kissing a black saint who was wrongly accused of murder and several religious symbols, such as burning crosses.
Her commercial with Pepsi was even pulled at the time, though Madonna was given permission to share it in September 2023.
?Artists are here to disturb the peace,? she wrote in the caption of an Instagram Reel at the time, as she debuted the commercial after it sat in the dark for 34 years.
Earlier this year, Madonna was sued by a fan who attended her ?Celebration? tour and accused her of exposing fans to ?pornography without warning.?
Her shows surely had some punch to them ? as her backup dancers were routinely filmed giving raunchy lap dances on stage.

Ah yes, I remember that lawsuit from the California concertgoer who was ?forced to watch topless women on stage.? In that instance I was leaning on Madonna?s side ? Celebration was her 12th concert tour, I think it was fairly predictable that Madonna would have racy material, girl. But the difference with a concert is that an audience member chooses to purchase a ticket. The Vatican may correct me if I?m wrong, but I don?t think Pope Francis sanctified Madonna using him as an AI prop. There is so much that doesn?t make sense to me in regard to these images. What do the captions mean? She?s going into the weekend with the Pope, and he?s the only one who really sees her? Why is he seemingly canoodling with her, going off of the body language? But I think my biggest question of all is, Madge had to have known that the photos would quickly be identified as AI-generated. So? why?? What is she trying to say here? This isn?t my religion, so I?m not offended on those grounds; I?m offended by a celebrity with Madonna?s following making such a desperate attention grab. Heaven help her.

In 2022, Jim Carrey announced that he was retiring from acting, effective after Sonic the Hedgehog 2?s release. His last role was that of villain Dr. Robotnik in that film series. At the time, Jim told Access Hollywood that he would only come out of retirement for a script ?in gold ink? that was hand-delivered by angels. (Which, IMO, would be the Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind script, which is one of my all-time favorite movies.) Well, two years later, Jim is back for more Hedgehog action and sadly, it?s not because angels showed up with tidings of a great script. Rather, his accountant showed up with a reality check. At the London premiere of Sonic 3, Jim ?fessed up that he?s making movies again because he needs the money.

Carrey announced in 2022 that hed retire after the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 2, in which he played the villain Dr. Robotnik.
In an interview with Access Hollywood in April 2022, Carey said, If the angels bring some sort of script thats written in gold ink that says to me that its going to be really important for people to see, I might continue down the road, but Im taking a break.
That break was short-lived. Less than two years later, Variety confirmed in February that Carrey was coming out of retirement to star in Sonic the Hedgehog 3.
In the film, premiering on December 20, Carrey plays Dr. Robotnik and his grandfather, Gerald Robotnik.
Speaking to the Associated Press at the London premiere of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 on Tuesday, Carrey said, I came back to this universe because, first of all, I get to play a genius, which is a bit of a stretch. And I just, I bought a lot of stuff, and I need the money, frankly.
Carreys salary for the previous two films isnt public knowledge, but Sonic the Hedgehog and its sequel were surprise box-office hits ? a rare occurrence for video-game adaptations. The first film grossed $319 million, and the sequel made $405 million in ticket sales.
In February 2023, Carrey also put a Los Angeles home hes owned for 30 years up for sale. The mansion was originally listed at $29 million, but after nearly two years on the market, the price has now been cut to $19.75 million.

Welcome back, Jim. I saw the first two Sonic movies with my kids. I liked the first one and thought the second one was?well, it was a thing that happened with some fun moments but an otherwise messy plot. I never got around to taking my older son to see Red One (oops, not sorry!), but both of my kids want to see Sonic 3, so there?s probably no getting out of that one.
As far as Jim?s confession that he needed the money, I respect the honestly here. Hopefully, hes working with a financial advisor or someone who can help him get back on track and learn to curtail his spending. Other actors, most famously Nicolas Cage and Al Pacino, have also had to take roles simply because they were broke or in heavy debt. Movie stars, they?re just like us! Only, they can turn around and get paid millions of dollars to film a family-friendly movie sequel which is guaranteed to make them even more money on the backend. We have to sell sh-t on Facebook Marketplace and donate plasma. Potato, pot-ah-to.

This week, we learned that Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly broke up again over the Thanksgiving holiday here in America. Apparently, she found something on his phone and she broke things off and they haven?t seen each other since. She?s also about six months pregnant with their rainbow baby, and this is not the first time they?ve broken up or broken off their engagement. Megan and MGK?s relationship has always been a giant ball of chaotic drama, and sources told People Mag that Megan and MGK will probably get back together at some point:
Megan Fox was caught off guard by the latest rift in her on-off relationship with Machine Gun Kelly. The Subservience actress and the musician broke up in late November, just weeks after announcing that they are expecting their first baby together.
A source close to Fox says the actress was blind-sided by the recent split, adding, Shes been distraught. Still, Fox is trying to focus on preparing for the baby on the way: Its her priority.
Reps for both stars have not responded to PEOPLEs requests for comment. Fox and Kelly, a.k.a. Colson Baker, met while making the movie Midnight in the Switchgrass together, and got engaged in January 2022. Theyre both already parents: Fox has Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 8, with ex-husband Brian Austin Green, while Kelly is dad to daughter Casie, 15.
Another source said Fox and Kellys romance has always been bumpy and theres a possibility theyll reconcile soon.
They love each other but dont have compatible personalities. Theyre both hot-heads, dramatic and stubborn. When theyre good together, theyre great, said that source, adding, They will very likely get back together. Theyve split in the past and then worked things out.

One month ago, Megan Fox announced her pregnancy. She is expecting her first child with Machine Gun Kelly, and her fourth child overall. Megan had previously spoken about miscarrying earlier in her relationship with MGK, so this will be her rainbow baby. People were happy for Megan in a general way, because many of us clocked that MGK is kind of a dirtbag long ago. There was a sense of ?I?m happy for her, but I wish she would leave that guy.? Well, guess what? It happened.
Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly have split just months before the arrival of their baby, TMZ has learned. Sources tell TMZ Megan and MGK ended things over Thanksgiving weekend while they were together in Vail, Colorado.
We?re told the reason for their split is that Megan found material on MGK?s phone that was upsetting, and it made her want him to leave the trip early. MGK dipped out of the trip early, and since then, the former couple hasn?t seen each other, and they are not together at this time.
The breakup is a little complicated since Megan is pregnant with MGK?s baby and is due in March.

There was a very similar situation last year, when MGK and Megan broke up, that Megan had suddenly found some kind of evidence of infidelity and she called off the engagement. He?s filming it and they were just flirting and talking about Spongebob, which he mispronounces. This is one of the sexiest videos Megan Fox has ever done, and you can just tell that they?re hot for each other. Well, TMZ got the backstory on it apparently, it was filmed more than a year ago while they were doing promotion, and Michele?s rep denies that Michele had anything to do with Megan and MGK?s split. Too bad, because I wish Megan would go for a guy like this.

Demi Moore is having one of the greatest professional years of her life. She started out with a scene-stealing supporting role in Feud: Capote vs. The Swans. Since then, she?s been garnering heaps of praise for her starring, shocking turn in The Substance, for which she just scored a Golden Globe nomination. It?s been so much fun seeing her (and little Pilaf!) hustle for this film. She?s been doing a great job of balancing being damn proud of her work, while still being grateful. I think part of that grounding comes with age and having lived a full life. And one of the facts of her life right now, is her family dealing with Bruce Willis?s frontotemporal dementia (FTD). Even though they?ve been divorced for a long time, Demi is still very close with Bruce and his wife Emma Heming Willis. She talked about Bruce?s health, consciously deciding to remain a family post-divorce, and more in a new interview with Christiane Amanpour:

The Substance actress spoke with Christiane Amanpour for an interview on CNN that aired Thursday, Dec. 5, about her ex-husband, who was previously diagnosed with aphasia that progressed to frontotemporal dementia (FTD).
?Given the givens, he?s in a very stable place at the moment,? said Moore, 62. ?And I?ve shared this before, but I really mean this so sincerely: It?s so important for anybody who?s dealing with this to really meet them where they?re at.?
?And from that place, there is such loving and joy,? she added.
Moore, who was married to Willis, 69, from 1987 to 2000, also told Amanpour that the situation is ?very difficult? and ?not what I would wish upon anyone,? including a feeling of ?great loss.?
?But there is also great beauty and gifts that can come out of it,? the Now and Then actress added.
Willis and Moore share three daughters ? Rumer, 36, Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 30 ? while the Die Hard actor is also dad to two younger daughters with wife Emma Heming Willis: Mabel, 12, and Evelyn, 10.
Addressing their supportive joint dynamic with Amanpour, 66, Moore said, ?That has been very important to me even from when Bruce and I had separated and divorced, is the recognition that we?re a family, and we?ll always be a family, just in a different form.?
?And that form may kind of evolve and change, and there is a way in which we can all be in that form,? she added. ?And I?m grateful, ?cause it?s not just me ? it has to require everybody to be coming together. And it?s lovely.?
Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE at the 2024 Gotham Awards on Monday, Dec. 2, Moore also said she has grown to have more self-acceptance over the years, revealing that one of her children also consciously chooses to walk down the same path.
?My middle daughter Scout, in many of our conversations, she kind of succinctly put it. She said, ?I want to quit wasting time focusing on all that I?m not, when I could be celebrating all that I am,?? Moore recalled at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

I continue to be impressed with the way the women in Bruce?s life are rallying around him with love, while also protecting his privacy. Demi doesn?t really divulge any specifics here, in fact this emphasis on meeting the person where they?re at is a phrasing she?s used before to talk about Bruce. I think it?s a thoughtful way to speak of Bruce positively, without disrespecting his privacy. And it also subtly redirects the focus, making the conversation less about the intimacies of how Bruce is doing, and more about how the rest of us can relate to people going through FTD and other illnesses. I?m wishing their big beautiful family all the love and grace for a joyful holiday season. And then I?m wishing for another knockout outfit when Demi hits the Golden Globes red carpet on January 5, ideally with Pilaf as her date.

Suri Cruise turned 18 years old this year. After Katie Holmes divorced Tom Cruise, Katie and Suri lived full-time in New York, and Suri is fully a New Yorker. Suri is currently a freshman in college and from the looks of things, Katie and Suri are handling it pretty well. Katie has an empty nest, but Suri comes home often to visit her. Tom has had nothing to do with Suri or Katie since 2012. That?s when Katie and Tom divorced, and Katie negotiated a divorce settlement which set her & Suri up in New York. Katie still works, but I would imagine the divorce settlement has largely financed their lifestyles. In recent days, the Daily Mail has been trying to make one particular story happen: that Tom Cruise set up a multi-million-dollar trust fund for Suri and it kicked in when she turned 18. Well, Katie just denied it:

On Sunday, Dec. 8, Holmes, 45, shared a post on Instagram disputing a report from the Daily Mail that alleged that 18-year-old Suri had become a millionaire after her trust fund from her father Tom Cruise recently kicked in.
The outlet reported that a source said Suri gained access to her trust fund from the Top Gun: Maverick star, 62, in April when she turned 18, and that she has an additional trust fund from her mother.
Completely false, Holmes wrote over a screenshot of the article. Daily Mail you can stop making stuff up.

For years, I?ve wondered about the terms of Katie and Tom?s divorce, specifically the financial aspect of it. In many divorces, the wealthier parent does have to provide some kind of trust or separate account specifically for the kid?s education/college. While Suri might not have a trust, I wonder if there?s been a separate account for her education? Of course, Katie and Tom settled the divorce so quickly, it also seems possible that Katie accepted a lump-sum settlement with the understanding that everything to do with Suri?s education needed to come from that divorce settlement money. Anyway, it?s interesting that Katie even bothered to deny this. Maybe Suri wanted her to say something.
