With a plethora of amazing films under her belt, Sharon Stone has maintained a constant presence in Tinseltown for several decades.
The ?Casino? actress opened up to the September 2015 issue of Harper's Bazaar about her cerebral hemorrhage that put her career on hold for a bit. ?When I came to, the doctor was leaning over me. I said, ?Am I dying?? And he said, ?You?re bleeding into your brain.? I said, ?I should call my mom,? and he said, ?You?re right. You could lose the ability to speak soon.??
Stone continued, ?It took two years for my body just to absorb all the internal bleeding I had. It almost feels like my entire DNA changed. My brain isn?t sitting where it used to, my body type changed, and even my food allergies are different. I became more emotionally intelligent. I chose to work very hard to open up other parts of my mind. Now I?m stronger. And I can be abrasively direct. That scares people, but I think that?s not my problem. It?s like, I have brain damage; you?ll just have to deal with it.?

Kicking off her weekend a little early, Halle Berry showed up at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel on Thursday evening (August 13).
The ?Monster?s Ball? babe was in the house for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association?s annual Grants Banquet and she looked stunning in a figure-hugging fitted blue cut-out dress as she mingled with fellow famous guests.
And during the course of the evening, Halle and her Tinseltown peers presented more than $2 million in grants to nonprofit arts organizations. Each year the HFPA designates some of the monies acquired via the Golden Globes to be used for such grants.

Here are some photos of Miranda Kerr and her boyfriend of some-odd three months at LAX a few days ago. Miranda met Evan Spiegel, the billionaire founder of Snapchat, at some point in May. Maybe. That?s what I believe! I think Miranda was hired to be a pretty face and attend some weird events during the Cannes Film Festival and that?s where she met Spiegel. That was seemingly the first time that they had been in the same place, so it makes sense.
As I mentioned in the previous post about this couple, Spiegel is very much a douche-bro, judging from his emails (which Valleywag got their hands on last year). He?s only 25 years old and he moved from an affluent family to the frat-bro culture at Stanford, to a billion-dollar tech venture, which is enough to bring out the douche-bro in any man, I would guess. Miranda is 32 years old, a supermodel and a single mother. My guess is she tried to land billionaire James Packer last year and it either got too complicated or he pushed her away. So now she?s trying to mold Spiegel into Boyfriend Material.
The ?PDA? photos are especially interesting to me. Together, they have the raw sexuality of uncooked hamburger. I have to give it to Miranda though, she?s really working it. She looks so pleased to see the paparazzi too, you can see her trying to give the photographers her best angles. Should we place bets on when she gets knocked up? I say the announcement will happen by January/February.

That?s what has made her increasingly frequent public failures that much funnier: we know that Madonna is beating herself up because nothing went smoothly. Stories about Madonna?s perfectionism extend to every aspect of her life, which of course includes her current Rebel Heart Tour. And according to Radar, Madonna?s Rebel Heart crew has had ENOUGH.
Madonna has never been known for being demure, but insiders close to her Rebel Heart Tour preparation tell RadarOnline.com that her diva behavior has really crossed the line! With the 56-year-old?s latest tour set to kick off on September 9, it?s crunch time, and insiders say she is cracking under the pressure.
?Madonna is a real piece of work,? one insider told Radar. ?On Monday night, the dancers declared mutiny on Madonna because she is working them way too hard. One dancer even went so far as to take off his credentials, throw it in her face and say, ?F*ck you. I quit!’ She had to call security to protect her and escort her remaining dancers out!?
?On another occasion, one of her dancers broke her arm during rehearsals and instead of showing concern, Madonna had a nuclear meltdown,? the insider claimed. ?Everyone is required to wear black head-to-toe at all times and she has said, in her own words, that there are ?no fat c*nts allowed in her presence.’?
A second source close to production echoed the concerns of the first.
?This is by far the biggest production she has ever done,? the insider told Radar. ?She is more demanding for this upcoming tour than she ever has been and wants everything done now. Madonna seems to expect everyone to drop every other project that they are working on to cater to her and make her tour their only priority in life. The problem is that she does not pay very well, but she knows that people that she hires will work countless hours at less than premium wage because she is Madonna.?
The source added, ?Her ego is so over-inflated and she thinks that her staff are lucky to be in her presence. She been a complete nightmare to work for and the tour has not even started yet.?

A month or two ago, I finally spent some time on Reese Witherspoon?s lifestyle/retail site, Draper James (go here to see). I almost got a headache from the sugary over-hyped SOUTHERN, Y?ALL vibe. I actually live in the South and I?m very happy here and we?re just as modern, crazy, stupid, corrupt, intelligent, artistic and racially diverse as the rest of America. But you would never know that with Draper James. It?s very much like Blake Lively?s ?Allure of Antebellum? Preserve post ? Reese wants to create a vision of a modern Southern lady that?s all about magnolia blossoms, luncheons and linen napkins. And I?m just not sure that really exists beyond some very elite cloisters of Southern society.
Anyway, Reese covers the new issue of Southern Living, which seems like a perfect fit if ever there was one. If there was a magazine called American Citizen: Drunk Blonde, that might be the only thing that would fit better for Reese. In this Southern Living article, Reese actually tamps down her natural instinct to judge everyone. Maybe because she knows how hard it is to be judged, y?all.
She?s not a judgy parent: ?No one?s really doing it perfectly. I think you love your kids with your whole heart, and you do the best you possibly can.?
But she?s a hands-on mom, y?all: ?But, you know, right now I?m feeling sad missing my little 2-year-old, and my daughter?s about to finish her freshman year of high school, and my son has a golf tournament this weekend that I hope I don?t miss.?
Balancing work and motherhood: ?There are some sacrifices you make, and it hurts your heart sometimes, but my kids tell me they?re proud of what I?ve accomplished, and that just means everything. I grew up with a working mom, and I have so much respect for the things she did as a nurse and a teacher. I would never begrudge her that.?
She bought a house in Nashville: ?Everything is a little bit slower here, and I think I?m ready for that in my life again. When I?m here my brain relaxes.?
Her Southern accent: ?Early on, someone said, ?Well, you?re never gonna get a job with an accent like that.? I learned to change it up, but it?s like a pair of slippers that I put on when I?m at home. I start to talk more and more Southern. My kids know when I?m serious. I get really Southern.?

Southern accents are a weird thing ? I grew up in Virginia and I never really felt like I had much of an accent, but then I became more conscious of it in my late teens. Maybe my accent just became stronger as I got older too, because I feel like it?s stronger now than ever before. I can drop it sometimes, but most of the time I don?t even care. So I have a Southern accent. Who cares? I?d rather sound like a hick than have Donald Trump?s totally bizarre New York accent.
