In 2022, Jennifer Lopez: Halftime came out. It?s worth a watch J.Lo is very raw in the documentary, and there are some genuinely intimate moments caught on camera as she?s promoting Hustlers and preparing to perform at the 2020 Super Bowl Halftime show. She?s upset that Hustlers didn?t get any awards-season love, but she tried to just eat the pain and keep moving, and there?s a really sweet moment where she?s rehearsing for the Halftime show and Emme comes in and convinces Jennifer to check out the kids? dance class next door (and that moment inspired an incredible visual in the halftime show).
I bring up Halftime because it?s one of my favorite celeb-documentaries in recent years, and I?m genuinely looking forward to watching her new doc, The Greatest Love Story Never Told. It?s supposed to be a companion piece to her new album (This Is Me? Now) and her musical film (This Is Me? Now: A Love Story). The musical was hilariously bad to me but others feel differently and so be it. But I will devour this doc, which comes out today. Jennifer let cameras into the home she shares with Ben Affleck and their kids, and cameras follow her around as she?s making the album and the musical film. It should be chaotic and TMI. Speaking of, here?s a little preview of coming attractions:
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck?s past relationship strife is water under the bridge. In her new Amazon Prime documentary The Greatest Love Story Never Told, the Waiting for Tonight singer, 54, opens up about the ways in which she and the Air star, 51, have found harmony together after pressing pause on their relationship for nearly 20 years.
At one point, Affleck asks Lopez if she?s forgiven him, or is angry at him.
?I think I was angry at you for a long time,? she tells him in the doc. ?But that heartbreak set both of us on a course to figuring ourselves out to being better people. I think I?ve forgiven you all the way. I think I need to forgive myself [for] some things.?
After meeting on the set of their movie Gigli in 2002, the pair were engaged later that year, and were set to be married in September 2003. But days before, they postponed the wedding, citing ?excessive media attention.? After briefly splitting in the wake of the canceled nuptials, they officially called it quits in January 2004.
In the documentary, director Dave Meyers ? who helmed This Is Me?Now: A Love Story ? says that when Lopez and Affleck broke up, it was ?catastrophic? ? and the On the Floor artist explains that losing him was hard because he wasn?t just the love of her life, but her best friend.

In that sliding-doors situation of Ben not sabotaging the engagement and going through with the 2003 wedding? it would have been a completely different kind of heartbreak for both of them. They wouldn?t have survived as a couple for very long, and Ben would have had to scratch the sabotage itch in many other ways. As Jennifer Garner knows. There was always something to be said for coming back together in their late 40s/early 50s, at a point in their lives where the biggest self-sabotages are behind them. Hopefully. I guess I?m saying that I understand why J.Lo was mad at him for a while and why she?s not mad at him now. They both had to figure out a lot of their sh-t separately. And I?m still not convinced that they?ve figured everything out, but whatever. God bless. I?ll watch it.

Taylor Swift wrapped on the Sydney leg of her Eras Tour on Sunday night, and she has several days off before her shows in Singapore. I sort of forgot that Taylor usually tours with her parents in tow her father, Scott Swift, is especially active in Taylor?s career, and he?s currently with her on tour. Well, apparently, Taylor, her father and some members of the Swift inner sanctum went out partying in Sydney after the Sunday night show. Scott Swift allegedly got into it with a paparazzo:
Taylor Swifts father has been accused of assaulting a photographer on Sydney?s north shore as he and his daughter celebrated the end of her Australian tour in the early hours of Tuesday morning. NSW Police have confirmed they are investigating after Mr Swift, 71, allegedly assaulted a 51-year-old man at Neutral Bay Wharf about 2.30am.
Its understood he left the scene before the photographer went to police. Police said the 51-year-old did not require medical treatment. Inquiries are now underway into the alleged assault, with an investigation launched by North Shore Police.
Taylor Swift wrapped up her fourth and final show at Sydneys Accor Stadium on Monday night. It is understood Swift and her team, which included her father, went out onto the Harbour to celebrate the end of the Eras Tours Australian leg. They reportedly partied the night away on a luxury superyacht. They had travelled from the concert venue in Homebush on the luxury superyacht Quantum after Tuesdays concert, Daily Mail Australia reported.

Well, Taylor?s spokesperson (likely Tree Paine) immediately pushed back on the idea that Scott Swift is out there, man-handling paparazzi:
A spokesperson for Taylor Swift is addressing reports the pop superstars dad Scott was involved in an altercation with an Australian photographer early Tuesday morning.
Two individuals were aggressively pushing their way towards Taylor, grabbing at her security personnel, and threatening to throw a female staff member into the water, Swifts rep tells PEOPLE in a statement.
On Tuesday morning local time, Australias Sky News reported that Scott, 71, had been accused of assaulting a photographer on Sydneys North Shore hours after her latest performance.
In a statement to PEOPLE, police ? who could not confirm the identities of those involved ? said they were investigating an alleged assault after a 71-year-old man allegedly assaulted a 51-year-old man at Neutral Bay Wharf around 2:30 a.m. local time on Tuesday.
The younger man reported the incident and inquiries are now underway by officers attached to North Shore Police Area Command. The man did not require medical treatment, according to police.

I have no idea if Aussie paps are more or less aggressive than American paps, but if this statement is true, it sounds less like Scott Swift attacked a paparazzo and more like a larger altercation between several people. Like, a genuine scuffle between photographers, security, Taylor?s team and Scott. Imagine claiming that a 71-year-old father of a pop star is running around, attacking paps.

Carey Mulligan wore Armani to the SAG Awards, and I saw many people highlighting this as one of their favorites of the night or one of the best of the night. Eh. Don?t get me wrong, it?s pretty and flattering and I love that she went for a more ?mainstream? look with Armani. But I think people are just reacting to that she?s rarely in a relatively simple column dress in a color other than black. The gold was a good choice though! She does look very good.
Jessica Chastain also wore Armani. There?s this thing where, for the year or two after an actress has had a really successful awards season, they show up to present awards and they wear the most boring ?don?t pay attention to me? styles ever. That?s where we are with Jessica this is her ?I?m just here as a presenter, I?m not trying to get attention? look.
Selena Gomez wore Versace honestly, one of the best looks I?ve seen on Selena in a long time. She often goes too cutesy or with styles which aren?t flattering for her curvy figure. This is va-va-voom, adult-woman styling. It?s good to remember that when you have a bigger bust, this is a very flattering style.

The cast of Dune 2 has taken the opportunity to dress up in the most futuristic or ?alien? styles they can find, to mixed results. It?s cute though, especially with the women trying to compete with Zendaya. Last night was the New York premiere for Dune 2 and Zendaya wore this Stephane Rolland Haute Couture look. Once again, I?m grateful that Z?s brand ambassadorship with Louis Vuitton doesn?t mean that she has to wear LV exclusively. Law Roach is definitely finding some interesting stuff for her and I think this looks cool.
Florence Pugh wore Valentino there have been so many variations on the ?half-sack? dress, with the loose sack dress up front and the business (structure) in the back. This is a good variation, and Miss Flo?s makeup is wild.

Anya Taylor-Joy wore Maison Margiela if you told me this was another Dior, I would have believed you. I?m also including pics of a Prada-clad Timothee Chalamet and Austin Butler (who wore eye makeup). Austin also posed with Sting, who played the same character, Feyd Rautha, in the previous movie. Austin wore Haider Ackerman!

Jennifer Aniston came out for the SAG Awards because she was nominated for The Morning Show, and because she was asked to co-present the Lifetime Achievement Award to Barbra Streisand. It made me remember that very strange 2010 Harper?s Bazaar editorial where they styled Aniston to look like a vintage Streisand it?s clear that Aniston has always believed that she looks like Babs, even if Aniston has done everything she can to surgically remove the likeness. Speaking of! Yeah, Aniston overdoes it with the Botox and fillers. Everything looks okay in still photos and then when she tries to move her mouth or face in any way, it?s painful for everyone involved.
I asked on Twitter if people think she got a boob job but now, looking at the photos, I agree that it was probably just the dress/taping situation. The dress is very good, actually a silver Celine, rather than one of Jen?s preferred black-widow looks. Her haircut is also pretty good the bob is really having a moment with Hollywood ladies. Also: Aniston wore a diamond-looking ring on her left ring finger. Is that anything?
Margot Robbie wore Schiaparelli the Barbie looks are limping along at this point, but bless her heart for trying. I don?t like this at all and I?m mad that Margot and Barbie are getting nothing at these awards shows!
America Ferrera wore a very boring Dior to the SAGs. She better have a great look for the Oscars.

Hilary Swank and Philip Schneider welcomed their twins, Aya and Ohm, in early April 2023. She announced her pregnancy while doing press for Hulu?s Alaska Daily, which side note I liked and am bummed it was not only canceled but that the remaining episodes after their mid-season break were put behind a paywall. I want to know what happened! Anyway, Hilary had wanted to be a mom for a long time and after years of suffering from ovarian cysts, she was thrilled to finally be able to conceive at 48. The twins are nine-months-old now and Hilary is fully in the thick of it. In fact, she?s currently having twice the fun with sleepless nights.
Hilary Swank is reflecting on the challenges and rewards of being a mom of twins! In April 2023, Swank and her husband Philip Schneider welcomed twins, daughter Aya and son Ohm. Nights are admittedly hard with twins, but Swank also knows there will be a time when shell look back at this period with a different perspective.
?I think that being a mother of twins, I never have had a singleton, so I dont know what thats like, she explained. But I know that the sleepless nights are hard and when you have one that might sleep through the night, the other ones not, so its kind of this trade-off every night.
?But I know this is also a season, and it too will pass, and I try and remind myself that theres going to be a day when Im like, ?Oh, Id love to wake up right now and just hold you.? So just trying and hold on to that.?
Shes already looking forward to the next challenge: when the twins are more mobile.
?Well, theyre only crawling, so its not like were out of control or anything,? she tells PEOPLE.
During an appearance on Today on Monday ahead of the premiere, the new mom revealed the special meaning behind her babies? names.
Aya was a Syrian refugee we met in Lebanon. So she was just this courageous, brave young girl full of life going through a really difficult time. My husband and I were like, she?s so beautiful, what a great name, she shared.
As for son Ohm, Swank said, Ohm is considered the first universal sound and unites all people, and that sounds very fitting.

Hilary, girl, I feel you. Those sleepless nights, especially when you aren?t used to them, are brutal. I feel like I aged years during those years that my kids were under two-years-old. Those cuddles and snuggles and morning smiles make it all worth it, though. I?ve never had twins, but went through a period of time when both of my boys, who are almost four years apart, woke up throughout the night. Power to all of you moms of multiples out there! I can?t imagine what it?s like doing those overnights with twin infants, especially if both want to be fed by mom at the same time. Mobile babies (toddlers) on the other hand, now that?s a whole different beast and set of worries! I wish Hilary all of the best when they get to that stage.

Over the weekend, I watched Jennifer Lopez?s musical ?film,? This Is Me? Now: A Love Story. She self-financed the hour-long movie for $20 million and she really did not need to do any of that. Like, it should have been just a series of music videos released on her YouTube page. She could have even turned it into a few ?short films? like Taylor Swift did with ?All Too Well.? The problem is that? the music wasn?t actually very good. You could argue that the ?story? of the film was kind of camp and hilariously stupid, but the whole point of the film was that it was supposed to be a companion piece to this new album and the album is?not good. The music was so bad, you guys. Even then, I would consider J.Lo to be a great dancer who can ?perform? her music well, but none of the choreography was working either. All of this is being reflected in the numbers:
Jennifer Lopez has made a big deal about investing her own money in her new project. JLo says she put $20 million into ?This is Me?Now,? the title of her new album, and the video that goes with it on Amazon Prime.
The project unfurled on Thursday night. There are no numbers yet, but there?s some indication of a soft launch. The album went to number 1 upon release, but now it?s number 4 on iTunes. What goes down on pop charts doesn?t usually come back up.
The album has also not birthed any hot tracks. The lead single, ?Can?t Get Enough,? is at number 76. There are no other tracks from the album on the top 100. A good indicator of an album?s strength is it immediately dispersing tracks throughout the top 100. It seems like the fans could indeed get enough.
As for the video, ?The Greatest Love Story Never Told? doesn?t hit Amazon Prime until February 27th ? next Sunday. By that time, the album and the single may not be in a position to help it.

I?m actually going to watch the documentary because I want to see how cringe it is and how much Ben Affleck appears in it. I?m also interested in seeing how thoroughly J.Lo documented the fact that everyone in her life told her to just skip the musical film. I kind of think she should have skipped the album too, but whatever. Again, I love Jennifer Lopez and I?m still really sad and outraged that she didn?t win an Oscar for Hustlers. She has every right to do whatever she wants, but oh my god, was this whole three-part album/film/documentary thing a huge miscalculation. Still, I think it was like an itch she had to scratch she wasn?t going to let it go until she figured out a way to do it.

Hilary Swank and Philip Schneider welcomed their twins, Aya and Ohm, in early April 2023. She announced her pregnancy while doing press for Hulu?s Alaska Daily, which side note I liked and am bummed it was not only canceled but that the remaining episodes after their mid-season break were put behind a paywall. I want to know what happened! Anyway, Hilary had wanted to be a mom for a long time and after years of suffering from ovarian cysts, she was thrilled to finally be able to conceive at 48. The twins are nine-months-old now and Hilary is fully in the thick of it. In fact, she?s currently having twice the fun with sleepless nights.
Hilary Swank is reflecting on the challenges and rewards of being a mom of twins! In April 2023, Swank and her husband Philip Schneider welcomed twins, daughter Aya and son Ohm. Nights are admittedly hard with twins, but Swank also knows there will be a time when shell look back at this period with a different perspective.
?I think that being a mother of twins, I never have had a singleton, so I dont know what thats like, she explained. But I know that the sleepless nights are hard and when you have one that might sleep through the night, the other ones not, so its kind of this trade-off every night.
?But I know this is also a season, and it too will pass, and I try and remind myself that theres going to be a day when Im like, ?Oh, Id love to wake up right now and just hold you.? So just trying and hold on to that.?
Shes already looking forward to the next challenge: when the twins are more mobile.
?Well, theyre only crawling, so its not like were out of control or anything,? she tells PEOPLE.
During an appearance on Today on Monday ahead of the premiere, the new mom revealed the special meaning behind her babies? names.
Aya was a Syrian refugee we met in Lebanon. So she was just this courageous, brave young girl full of life going through a really difficult time. My husband and I were like, she?s so beautiful, what a great name, she shared.
As for son Ohm, Swank said, Ohm is considered the first universal sound and unites all people, and that sounds very fitting.

Hilary, girl, I feel you. Those sleepless nights, especially when you aren?t used to them, are brutal. I feel like I aged years during those years that my kids were under two-years-old. Those cuddles and snuggles and morning smiles make it all worth it, though. I?ve never had twins, but went through a period of time when both of my boys, who are almost four years apart, woke up throughout the night. Power to all of you moms of multiples out there! I can?t imagine what it?s like doing those overnights with twin infants, especially if both want to be fed by mom at the same time. Mobile babies (toddlers) on the other hand, now that?s a whole different beast and set of worries! I wish Hilary all of the best when they get to that stage.

In the film, Foster was 9 years old when she starred alongside a young Michael Douglas and Johnny Whitaker. She and Whitaker played kids who go on a journey with their pet lion rather than saying goodbye to it.
Foster recalled three lions being on set: the main lion, a stunt lion and a stand-in lion, the latter of which was the one she had the incident with.
?We finished a take and I was going up the hill and all I remember is I remember seeing his mane come around and then he picked me up sideways, shook me in his mouth and turned me around,? Foster said.
The True Detective: Night Country star continued: ?Every single person on the crew was running in the opposite direction and I?m like sideways watching everybody ? and they took their equipment, too.?
The Silence of the Lambs star retold the event with amusement in her voice, but other guests on stage ? Colman, comedian Wanda Sykes, and Scottish host Lorraine Kelly ? looked on in shock.
?I?m watching everybody leave going, ?What?s happening,?? Foster said, adding that she remembers thinking it was an earthquake because she was shaking.
?The trainer said, ?Drop it? and because the lion was so well-trained, he opened his mouth and dropped me down and I went running,? she said.
But the lion ?came after? Foster, she said, noting he ?put one paw on me and then just waited like ?I go her,?? she said with a laugh.

I know it?s not really the point of this story, but I love that there are two child actors involved, but it?s Michael Douglas who?s described as ?young.? Funny! As for the working lions, if you watch the video clip Jodie actually explains the different functions each one played. The ?main? lion was their regular scene partner, because he was very old and no longer in possession of his teeth. The ?stunt? lion was used for roaring and growling shots, presumably close ups that were filmed away from the children. Then the ?stand-in? lion was employed when the ?main? lion could not be persuaded to move. At all. Which is how Mr. Stand-In got called in for this shot. And boy did he milk his moment! Talk about scene stealing, he tried to run off with the star! I hope it was more Jodie?s clothing that the lion grabbed with his mouth rather than her body, and I also hope there really wasn?t that much of a delay until the trainer told him to ?drop it!? Thank goodness Jodie was OK and is now here to tell this story. But that last bit where the lion lays his paw on Jodie and boasts, ?don?t worry, I?ve got her!? ? no offense to the feline, but that move was total canine good-boy energy.

America Ferrera is having a great year. Her powerful speech in Barbie earned its place in cinematic history as a major cultural moment and she was just nominated for her first Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. I?m a huge fan of America, so I?m thrilled that she?s getting the recognition she deserves. (I know I say this often but if you?re looking for a new sitcom to binge, go watch Superstore!)
Last week, America appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers to talk about the movie, her Oscar nomination, and her different experiences at Oscar events. At one point, she shared that she met Martin Scorsese at an Oscar event and was starstruck saying hi to him, prompting Seth to ask her if that happens often. America responded by telling a story about the time she met Leonardo DiCaprio and cried.
Appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Friday, the 39-year-old Barbie star explained that being starstruck will sneak up on you at industry events, before she detailed one celebrity encounter in particular that left her weeping.
As she explained, it usually happens when she meets someone she had a childhood connection to, such as when she met DiCaprio, now 49, at the 2007 Screen Actors Guild Awards, where she won an award for her performance in Ugly Betty.
I watched Titanic in the movie theaters seven times. [I was] 13, 14 [years old], prime time to be in love with Leonardo DiCaprio, right? OK, so first time I went to the SAG Awards, and I had won for Ugly Betty, I had been onstage and the whole thing, she recalled. I was feeling kind of like, I belong here, this is cool.
At the awards show, she ended up saying hello to DiCaprio. And I promptly departed [from] him, went around the corner and just started weeping, Ferrera said.
And my husband, then-boyfriend, was with me and he was like, I am so embarrassed right now.
Ferreras spouse, Ryan Piers Williams, whom she wed in 2011, then encouraged Ferrera to stop crying.
I hope Leonardo DiCaprio never sees this, Ferrera told Meyers, who joked that he probably wont.?

That is SO funny. I?ve been trying to think of which celebrity I?d be so starstruck that I?d cry if I met them and I don?t know! Honestly, I think it would be Judy Blume. There are celebrities that I?ve admired or would love to meet, but Judy?s books meant so much to me when I was growing up that I could see myself becoming emotional if I ever met her. I would also love to sit in on a Fiona Apple recording session and see how her genius works. Oh, and Gillian Anderson would definitely inspire a lot of feels. They tell more funny stories, including Seth joking about which famous person he met that made him cry (at least, I think he was joking!) and which Full House star she was thrilled to have met. She also talks about meeting Tom Hanks and trying to hold it together as he said nice things to her. It?s a fun interview and she comes across as a really nice, down-to-earth person.
