I remember little Jennifer Lawrence back when she was doing her first big promotional tour for the first Hunger Games movie. It was obvious that the studio had gotten her a stylist, and her fashion during that tour was very hit-or-miss. Mostly, it felt like J-Law?s personal style was missing and she was being told what to wear. Jump ahead to the past few years, where J-Law is now the biggest A-list movie star under the age of 30, she has a lucrative Dior contract and an Oscar and everything else. And it still feels like her personal style is missing from the promotional tour.
My guess is that J-Law is 100% contractually obligated to wear Dior to any and all red carpets. That being said, she probably gets the first pick of all of the current Dior designs. So there?s no excuse for this. She wore this awful tent dress to the Paris premiere of Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2. This is easily the worst Dior she?s worn the entire tour, and in PARIS. The fashion capital of the world! La tragdie! J-Law has one of the best figures in Hollywood too, so why in the world would you put her in a shapeless bridal sack? PS? are those GD feathers on the cuff?
Her Paris photocall look (also Dior) was much better. If this had been a full-length gown, it would have been great for the premiere. And if the sack-y premiere dress had been a mini-dress, it would have been decent for the photocall. Just goes to show you? Raf Simons had no idea what the f?k he was doing. I will say this though ? J-Law?s makeup and hair game has improved a lot over the past few years. I love this shade of blonde she?s got now and her makeup looks fresh and pretty.

Here is Miley Cyrus posing completely naked while backstage at her MTV VMAs hosting gig, in new photos from V magazine’s December issue.
In the publication?s ?Diary of a Dirty Hippie? feature, the RuPaul?s Drag Race alum Laganja Estranja writes about Miley Cyrus? debut of ?Dooo It!? at this year?s MTV Video Music Awards, which featured the singer?s drag queen friends all sashaying down the stage in one colorful performance.
Alongside the short column, the magazine has also published a photo of Cyrus, 22, posing fully naked inside her dressing room that night ? her ladyparts displayed in all of their glory.

Kicking off the day with some press duties, Jennifer Lawrence showed up at a photocall in Madrid, Spain for her new film ?The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2.?
Joined by Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson, the ?American Hustle? hottie was all smiles as she showed some love to her Spanish fans.
Meanwhile, Jennifer posted a video to her Facebook page to prove that she washes her hands after using the restroom. Lawrence wrote, ?I hate talking to the Internet but I can't get asked another question about my hygiene on this press tour. I told MTV I didn't wash my hands after going to the bathroom because I was trying to gross out Josh and Liam and I ended up grossing out the world. Of course I wash my hands after going to the bathroom! (I can't believe I've put myself in a situation where I even have to say that.) Anyway with all the rumors I've ever heard about myself this is the one I really had to put to rest. ?Jen?

These are photos from a Hunger Games photocall in Madrid today. Lawrence is wearing a burnt orange short sleeveless dress with metallic darting at the collar. I don’t have a designer ID on this dress yet but I really love this look, it’s clean and striking. Lawrence should do menswear more often.
Last month, during a joint interview with Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth, Lawrence revealed a bunch of cringe-worthy facts about her personal hygiene. The three were asked for their most disgusting habit and Lawrence volunteered “I don’t wash my hands after I go to the bathroom.” Hemsworth seemed to confirm this with the detail “she likes to come back and literally put her hands all over your face.”
“Does this smell like your mom?” Lawrence quipped.
In that same interview, there was a write-in question from Lawrence’s buddy Amy Schumer asking if she ever peed in a bidet. Lawrence explained “this is an ongoing conversation with me and Amy” and added “I’ll take it one step further, I’ve peed in some sinks.” She explained “When two girls go into a bathroom, someone’s gotta take sink and I actually like taking sink.” I often go to the bathroom with friends and I’ve never heard this before. How impatient do you have to be to pee in a sink? Maybe if you’re wasted and the line is very long, but I’ve never done this.
So Lawrence has volunteered a bunch of information about her lax personal hygiene, only she’s sick of talking about it at this point. She posted the following video to her Facebook page along with some text that seems to contradict it:

In case you can’t watch the video, we see Lawrence in a bathrobe flushing a bidet. She walks away, saying “what a weird toilet” and then is told by someone off camera “that’s not a toilet it’s a bidet.”
“That’s not a toilet? Oh, then I don’t have to wash my hands.” She had half-washed her hands at that point but stopped.
Yeah, I don’t think she regularly washes her hands. Maybe she was trying to gross out Josh and Liam in that interview, but Liam was a little too quick to add that she likes to stick her hands in his face after she goes to the bathroom. At least she’s making fun of herself, but still it’s gross. No wonder everyone keeps asking her about it.

These are photos of Matt Damon and his wife out with his daughters in London yesterday. He’s in England filming the Bourne sequel, and we’ve already seen photos from the set. Matt may claim he’s uninteresting to the paparazzi but he knows that nothing counters a tabloid cover about relationship trouble like a family photo op. I shouldn’t sound so smug, Matt’s wife, Luciana, kind of stayed off to the side and there were other people with them. If this was a photo op I think we would more of Luciana, or maybe Matt doesn’t want to be that obvious. In case you think that Star might have been on to something with their “Matt Damon $140 million divorce shocker” story (doubtful), Matt was also seen out jogging with Luciana last week.
Matt was photographed riding a carousel with his daughters Stella, five and Gia, seven. The Daily Mail reports they were outside the London Museum of Natural History, where there are rides and they also have a skating rink. There are also some cute photos where Damon is filming the girls skating. It looks like fun! Now I wonder if they went into the museum too.
I have a question. Damon is wearing a Harley Davidson cap. Does this mean he rides a Harley and why are there no photos of this?! I want to see Matt Damon on a motorcycle as soon as possible. I know that his buddy Ben Affleck rides because I’ve seen him on a motorcycle. Damon would be hotter riding. He’s hotter overall at this point, although Affleck can turn it around. Also, I love his glasses.
See these family photo ops work well. The celebrity can just step out with the wife and kids and people will forget the rumors and the douchey things they’ve said. Depending on their level of fame they just need to do this sparingly or they’ll be stuck in a near-daily cycle like the Garner-Afflecks.

Cate Blanchett covered the Guardian?s Weekend Magazine to promote her fall films, Carol and Truth. In the weeks since we?ve discussed Blanchett?s movies, the idea that Blanchett could or would earn some awards nominations for Truth have sort of faded away. The film wasn?t very well received critically, and at this point, if Cate is going to get nominated this year, it?s going to be for Carol. Anyway, you can read the Guardian?s interview with Cate here. She was pretty chatty with the magazine, but we?ve heard a lot of this stuff before. Some highlights:
Being 46 years old: ?Actress years are like dog years. So that makes me about 120.?
On LGBT rights, sexism: ?Well, the fact that we?re talking about it means there are still barriers. It?s like the situation with women in film ? or, frankly, women in every industry ? not being paid the same as men. You have to keep it on the agenda. You have to keep it politicised. But I?m not very interested in agitprop cinema. That?s the realm of the documentary. That?s where investigative journalism belongs. The problem is that when you represent a character in a same-sex relationship, it?s like you have to represent them all. You become a spokesperson, which really isn?t the point. When the time comes that we have a diversity of same-sex couples in film, then the problem is solved, I don?t have to stand for everyone.?
On being misrepresented as having ?many? relationships with women: ?Look. I also just played Mary Mapes, who?s a journalist. No one asked me how long I?d been to journalism school. If I played someone who has an affair, I think a reporter would probably think twice before asking, ?Ooh, how many affairs have you had?? It would be a slightly delicate area. But there are no holds barred about asking me whether I?ve had relationships with women. And so I facetiously said, ?Oh yes, I?ve had many relationships with women? ? because frankly, who hasn?t? Of course I said it in inverted commas. But the inverted commas didn?t make the page.?
Being a working actress and mother: ?Now, I might be wrong, but I don?t think they put the same question to male actors, do they??
Stepping away from her film career: ?When I stepped away to run the theatre company, a lot of people said, ?This is a mistake. You realise you have a certain shelf life and you?re throwing that away.? But I think it?s made me a better actor. If it hasn?t, I?m a f–king idiot. But you do carry that fear with you. When I was getting ready to leave [the company], I did think, ?Well, I?m in my 40s, I don?t know if I?ve even got a film career to go back to.? And then Blue Jasmine landed in my lap.?
She doesn?t want to sound wanky. ?Acting can be an anthropological process. I don?t want to sound wanky or pompous about it ? my son calls it pump-ass ? but I think that?s what it is.?
Empathy & Donald Trump: ?I think that empathy is a noble cause. I think a point of understanding is probably a good thing. I mean, with some people it?s harder than with others. If I was playing Donald Trump, it might be a tall order?. I would play Donald Trump in a heartbeat. The comb-over? I?m there. Todd Haynes could make a whole new film. Six different incarnations of Trump.?

A significant chunk of the interview is devoted to discussing Blue Jasmine and what it was like working with Woody Allen. It?s interesting because during Cate?s awards blitz two years ago, all of the questions about Woody Allen were shunned because of all of the controversies. But I guess Cate thinks that it?s passed and she can now talk about it? Perhaps. And yes, I would love to see her play Donald Trump. Why do I think she would be somewhat brilliant at that?

I still don?t have words for what Riccardo Tisci did to Kim Kardashian at the LACMA gala over the weekend. Seriously, look at this. It?s like a lingerie diaper. Anyway, Kim sat down with Andre Leon Talley for the new Vogue Podcast ? you can hear some of the podcast here, and you can download it on iTunes (but seriously, why would you want to?). I wasn?t even going to listen to it because even though I don?t actually hate Kim or the Kardashian-Jenner clan, I?m not about to exert myself to the point where I actually sit down and listen to a podcast featuring an interview with one of them. Thankfully, other outlets listened to it and they transcribed some of it. YAY. Just as I suspected, Kim is vapid and superficial. Shocking. Here are some assorted quotes:
Kim once flew to Paris just to have a slice of her favorite cheesecake. ?I don’t like cheesecake but the cheesecake at Hotel Costes?It’s heaven. I flew in, maybe a couple months ago, just to have a last hoorah of all the food that I’m not going to be able to have for a while. And I get there and they tell me they didn’t have it! I told them, ?You don’t understand, I leave tomorrow and I flew all the way over here for one night, maybe two nights.’ And they said ‘OK, we’re going to get it.’ And they got it and it really made my day.?
What she loves to do in Paris. ?Eat is my favorite thing to do when I’m in Paris. It’s just the ambiance.?
She doesn?t have any food cravings during this pregnancy. ?You know I don’t crave anything, it’s so weird. I just don’t. I eat more carbs than usual, but I don’t crave anything in particular. Every morning I have an egg white, avocado and a piece of wheat toast. And for lunch I love a salad. And then dinner its usually a risotto or a pasta.?
She planning a closet that looks like the Saint Laurent store: ?They are so organized, you have no idea. I’m so excited, we are moving into our new house…I added on this whole other room, it’s going to be so amazing. It’s going to look like a store. Everything’s color coordinated and height coordinated. It’s so organized. It’s going to look a little bit like a Saint Laurent store. Like marble and brushed gold. And I have a whole closet set aside for my daughter, of all my clothes, all my Met gowns. Hopefully one day she’ll want to wear something of mine.?
She hates Thanksgiving food. “I actually don’t love Thanksgiving food, isn’t that weird? I don’t love it all. I love the tradition and I love hanging out with the family, but I don’t really love the food so I never get tempted really. But around Christmas time I love the sweets and all of that.”
Wearing heels while pregnant: “It’s getting hard. A friend of mine emailed me and said, ‘Have you given up?’ and I said, ‘Why, what do you mean?’ and he said, ‘You’re wearing flip flops. I saw a photo of you in flip flops,’ and I said, ‘Yes, I’ve given up at this point.’ I was getting on a plane and my feet were swollen. I’m to the point now where my feet are slightly starting to swell — not as bad as before — but they’re getting there. Today I’m wearing heels and they’re fine. I think in spurts they’re OK at this stage.”

Only monsters hate Thanksgiving food. Seriously, how can any red-blooded American hate ALL Thanksgiving food? I can understand not caring for a particular Thanksgiving-oriented dish ? like, I don?t care for cranberry sauce ? but to just hate ?Thanksgiving food? in total? Turkey? Mashed potatoes? Random bacon-coated veggies? GRAVY for the love of God? As for flying into Paris just for cheesecake? I?m not sure I?ve ever loved a dessert that much. I would drive ten miles for a piece of chocolate when I?m PMSing, but I would not fly to Paris for cheesecake.
