Lauren Graham?s fourth book, Have I Told You This Already? Stories I Don?t Want to Forget to Remember, is coming out later this month. She wrote it during the pandemic to stave off the dread of the virus and lack of work. It also helped her get over her breakup with Peter Krause. Lauren and Peter were together for almost 12 years before they spilt in the summer of 2021. Lauren worked hard not to let the breakup up ?flatten? her, so she focused on the good things she had going in her life and writing the book. Now that she?s had a little time to process it, she realizes she?s in ?a better place,? but she?s still sad about it ending.
Lauren Graham definitely has more to say.
The actress, producer and writer ? whose charm and quick wit have resulted in three New York Times bestsellers ? is releasing another collection of essays about her life and career, Have I Told You This Already? Stories I Dont Want to Forget to Remember, available Nov. 15.
Writing also became a good distraction for Graham when her almost 12-year relationship with actor Peter Krause, whom she began datingafter the two costarred as siblings on Parenthood, ended during the summer of 2021.
I knew I was resilient because I just always have been, she says. You take your knocks and dont complain. Thats how I was always raised.
Somewhere in that is a year like this where I just was not going to let [the breakup] flatten me, she continues. I was like, Okay, well, look at all the good stuff I have, and look at all the good times, and Im going to write this book. Thank goodness I have these outlets and these stories to tell.
Though they lived together and Graham helped raise the actors now-20-year-old son Roman from a previous relationship, the two preferred to keep the romance out of the spotlight.
I think part of all the positives of having known each other for a really long time were there, she says. And one of the negatives of that is we almost came into a relationship as people in their 40s without asking any of the questions people in their 40s should be asking. We had such a good time together that I didnt maybe ask some fundamental questions about What are your values and what do you envision? and those more grown-up things. And then they just caught up with us.
After the split, Graham rented a beach home and then returned to L.A. to focus on her work.
Im less on the run, says the actress, acknowledging that the passing of time has been the greatest gift. Any pain still really has its moments. I was a contributor in the life of his child, and so were connected. And yes, Im in a better place, but its still just a shame. Its just sad to me.
[From People]
I hate to say this but now the gossip in me is awakened. Like, what were the fundamental questions Lauren forgot to ask? I was bummed when Lauren and Peter broke up because I like both of them very much and they seemed well suited for each other. I loved their low-key vibe to the relationship everyone knew they were together, but they kept it quiet. But prior, I just assumed they were a pandemic causality, especially when Peter got used to living without Lauren when she was stuck in Canada filming during Covid. And maybe they were, maybe that?s when they finally thought to ask these questions they?d ignored for so long. I can see what Lauren?s saying about people in their 40s or older just assuming they are all on the same page and forgetting they still have decades to consider how their partner factors in. And I agree, it is a shame. But I?m glad Lauren?s in a better place and can see that.
Lauren talked about what she?s looking for in her next relationship. She acknowledges she has everything she wants in life so she?s just looking for a good time, someone who is funny and kind. She must be in a better place if she?s open to what might be next. And if no guy comes along, it?s not an issue because Lauren?s already working on her fifth book, ?a Bridget Jones-y thing set in Los Angeles.? I don?t mean to be a jerk, but I kind of hope the love of Lauren?s life takes his time because I want to read the LA B. Jones story.

In sad news, Lauren Grahams rep has confirmed to People Magazine that she and Peter Krause broke up quietly sometime last year. We first heard that they were a couple in 2010 when they co-starred on one of my favorite drama series, Parenthood, although theyd known each other for a long time. Peter is now starring on 9-1-1, which films in LA, and last year Lauren is on The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers, which films in Vancouver. Peoples reporting makes it sound like their work kept them apart and that this was a covid-

| Lauren Graham got a rescue puppy, after she 'fell in love with her on the internet' | Added 4 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Lauren Graham stars on that new show Zoey?s Extraordinary Playlist, which, I don?t know. I cannot seem to get excited about it from the clips, even though I like everyone in the cast. I guess it scratches the My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend itch? In addition to Zoey?s, Lauren also just started filming Disney+ new Mighty Ducks series that films in Vancouver, which turned out to be fortuitous because it allowed Lauren to add to a new fur baby to her family. Lauren said she found her new pup on the internet, fell in love, drove down to meet her and knew right away this sweet dumpling would become the newest member of her family. Lauren told Ellen DeGeneres the story ? and brought pics. Look at her! *makes strangled noises in throat*
You got a puppy. And, it?s a rescue dog? What is she?
We think Lab, Shepherd and then, I took her in to the vet and they?re like, ?and Rottweiler.? I was like, ?she keeps getting smaller ? wow.? Yeah, she?s kind of a big dog. I fell in love with her on the internet, which I hope is the closest I ever have to come to internet dating. But? there was something in her eyes and I?d been working in Vancouver and I drove to Washington state to pick her up. And I didn?t intending on taking her home that day, but one look in those big, brown eyes and ?you?re coming with me!? I just put her in the car and now she?s my dog.
Every single time I set out just to ?look? or ?meet? a potential pet ? cat or dog I left with them. Once I ended up with his brother too (best decision I ever made). I mean, any time you get face to face with one of these furry angels, you?ll lose your heart to it, but driving across the border to meet the precious pup? Lauren had to know there would be no turning back. And who can blame her, look at that little face!
We don?t have a name for Lauren?s new little love, but hopefully she will be the subject of Lauren?s next book. Did you know Lauren was a best-selling author? Because I sure as hell didn?t. Honestly, sometimes I don?t know how I get away with calling myself a fan. Lauren has written a memoir, a novel and an advice book and I am just learning about all of them. She also runs an online book club. I also did not know that Lauren lives near Parenthood co-star, Dax Shepard. Since Lauren lives *with* Parenthood co-star Peter Krause, it?s like a family reunion every day.
Anyway, Zoey?s Extraordinary Playlist is on NBC and Hulu. If it?s good, please tell me so I can move it up my list.

It?s an exciting time to be a Netflix subscriber, as the streaming service just revealed plans to produce a new batch of ?Gilmore Girls? goodness, including the original cast and creator.
According to multiple reports, the ?in-the-works continuation? is slated to yield four 90-minute mini-movies to be penned by Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino.
Furthermore, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop, Lauren Graham and Scott Patterson are all in negotiations to return for the project. In fact, way back in 2009 (3 years after the series ended), Ms. Palladino hinted to Entertainment Weekly, ?The beauty of Gilmore, and the beauty of family-relationship shows, is you never really run out of story. You?re going to battle your family until you?re all in the ground. Those things never resolve, doesn?t matter how much therapy you get. Ten years later, there?s still going to be [material] there to mine and to delve into.?

| Lauren Graham on the trials of showbiz: 'I?ve been on a diet for 35 years' | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Lauren Graham covers the May issue of More magazine, and it’s hard to believe that this woman is 46 years old. She looks fantastic! Lauren is promoting “Parenthood” — I think — which is the only thing that her IMDb profile reveals that she’s been working on besides a Christmas-type movie. Speaking of that holiday, I know that a lot of you harbor a lot of affection for her role in “Gilmore Girls,” but I enjoyed her quite a bit in Bad Santa even though that was a much naughtier turn.
Lauren does mention in this interview that she was just finished writing her first novel at the behest of one Diane Keaton, so that’s something to look forward to. Also, Lauren discusses how the past few decades as an actress have taken a toll on her eating habits. That is, she says she’s been on a neverending diet for 35 years. I hope that’s an exaggeration because that would mean she’s been dieting since about age 11. Luckily, her rack has not been affected by such drastic measures as you can see from the below sample picture from the photoshoot. Here are some excerpts:
She never lets herself eat like crazy: “I’ve been on a diet for 35 years.”
On getting older: “I’ve spent a lot of time wondering, ‘What’s going to happen? I try not to allow myself to do that much anymore. I think I’ve gotten more comfortable with the unknown.”
She gets frustrated with career slowdowns: “Acting is the most bizarre profession. You can stay in it for years and not really be in it and be waiting for someone to give you an opportunity. It’s like when I watch ‘American Idol’ and see people who have been told to believe in themselves at all costs: It’s not always a good idea.”
She’s also a writer: The actress recently penned her first novel, Someday, Someday, Maybe. Graham was inspired to pursue her passion for words by Diane Keaton, who played her meddlesome mother in 2007?s Because I Said So. “If she had told me to consider a career in banking, I would have done that. I wanted to write about the tiny, tiny progress and the complete unknown of wanting to follow any impossible dream.”

Hmm. I think Lauren might actually be joking about the 35-year diet because she's never appeared overly skinny, right? Maybe she just watches what she eats and calls it a diet. She doesn't have the strung-out look of a Goop who completely obsesses over food and punishes herself with daily two-hour workouts after taking a bite of fried chicken. Lauren does look quite lovely as always here, doesn't she?
