Here Britney Spears mixing business with pleasure this week flying to Hawaii on the heels of her new album announcement.
It’s called “Glory” … which works too when you see Brit in these photos. She’s baaaaaaaaack … and got some too.
It is great to see her looking so happy (I guess we all would on a beach in Hawaii). So glad that she has, with a lot of help from her family, managed to work her way back from the terrible mess she was in a few years ago and looking fantastic too

| Star: Kylie Jenner wants a Vogue cover but her only pose is 'duck lips' | Added 7 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

It?s sometimes difficult to remember that Kylie Jenner, like Kendall, is considered a model. As in, Kylie considers herself a model, even though she rarely scores the kind of modeling work that Kendall gets. Kylie ?models? for magazines and she has one big modeling contract, her contract with Puma. And while that?s better than most would-be models, it?s still not really a legit modeling career. Kylie has been featured IN Vogue, but she?ll probably never appear on the cover of Vogue. And she?s mad about that, allegedly.
Is Kylie Jenner?s mind, she?s A-list ? too bad the fashion world doesn?t agree. Sources say that Kylie couldn?t believe Vogue editrix Anna Wintour chose Gigi Hadid to grace the cover of August?s Vogue instead of her.
?Ever since she had her lips done, Kylie feels like she is the hottest out of her family and was furious that Kendall and Kim both got their own Vogue covers,? dishes a friend. ?She thought for sure she was next and tells everyone that Gigi only got it because she?s such a pushy suck-up.?
But Kylie?s barely existent modeling career isn?t Gigi?s fault ? it?s her own. Fashion sources reveal that Kylie?s poor reputation precedes her.
?It?s well known that Kylie is a nightmare on photoshoots,? says an industry inside. ?She never looks up from her phone and will stay in the dressing room for hours. And at the end of the day, she just can?t model ? the only way she knows to pose for the camera is to do duck lips.?
[From Star Magazine, print edition]
I don?t know if Kylie is a nightmare on shoots, but I do know that she?s a terrible model, and that she?s really only capable of two poses: dead-eyed fembot and duck-lipped sad doll. After all of the work she?s had done on her face, that?s literally all she CAN do. Does Kylie even want the cover of Vogue? Probably, but I don?t see how she feels like she?s earned it. Then again, Kendall is allegedly the September cover girl of Vogue, and I don?t really know how Kendall would deserve it either.

| Jessica Simpson: 'I was going to get a breast reduction?but I like how they are' | Added 7 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

We rarely talk about Jessica Simpson these days. I personally think that?s a good thing ? Jessica seems happy, fulfilled and ?grown up? nowadays, and I think the combination of becoming a mom and being in a happy marriage really ?calmed? her down. She doesn?t feel the need to overshare about every little thing, and I genuinely believe that she?s in a good place. Maybe this is a case of ?absence makes the heart grow fonder,? but I actually did miss her. Jessica is like CoCo (Ice-T?s wife): generally harmless, amusing, and incredibly relatable, in a weird way. Jessica covers the September issue of Women?s Health, and she talks about body image, her boobs (of course) and more. Some highlights:
Her boobs: “My boobs just have their own life, they have a way of making themselves present. I thought I was going to get a breast reduction?. After having kids, I look at myself and I’m like, you know what, my boobs are actually really big, but I like how they are. They’re an asset, and Eric loves them still.”
Being a public figure with weight fluctuations: “Media scrutiny sucks. I can’t sit here and say I don’t notice it. I will never understand why people take someone down for what you look like. If I had a character flaw, take me down. But a body flaw? That’s not important.”
Why her weight changes made her a better businesswoman: “I have been every size there is. I know what looks good on a variety of body types. Every woman should feel like she can wear what the model is wearing down the runway.?
Workouts: “Before I was a mom, I was dancing on tables at clubs and that was my workout. Now I?m chasing kids. Your biceps curls are picking up your kids?. I give myself so many excuses not to get on the treadmill, to not do that lunge. Workouts are an emotional experience. I exercise to clear my head. It makes me stronger on every level.”
Loving herself: “I’m hard on myself, I believe everything is a work in progress. But that’s okay. I do love my legs, but my favorite physical attribute is my nose, because it’s not perfect. But recently, since I’ve worked out so hard, I’m also loving my stomach?knowing I grew babies in it, and then having to go through a transformation and just owning it.”
Empowering women: “It’s interesting because I feel like all women are very jealous of each other, but they are also supportive of each other. If we can all own what we love about ourselves, we won’t have to have the jealous part.”
[From Women?s Health, E! News]
This made me feel sad: ?Media scrutiny sucks. I can’t sit here and say I don’t notice it.? She was being slammed so hard during her first pregnancy, and people really did go overboard ? I even wrote about it at the time, asking for an end to people calling Jessica (and any pregnant celebrity) ?fat.? Did she overshare to a ridiculous degree during her first pregnancy? Sure. We didn?t need to hear about those ?slutty brownies.? But people were still way harsh towards Jessica. But I also believe that she has learned about how to dress women of all sizes from her own weight fluctuations. And speaking as someone built more like the Jessica Simpsons and Kim Kardashians of the world, I?d rather hear their thoughts on fashion rather than the endless parade of size-0 models.

| Gwen Stefani is mysterious about her split: 'Nobody would believe it' | Added 7 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

There are so many articles about Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton that it’s hard to know where to start, but I guess the cover of US Magazine is as good a place as any. US, where these two gush about each other through sources while promoting their separate tours, buy tickets now. Don’t get me wrong I think this relationship is real, I just find it over-the-top and opportunistic. They were both on the rebound and found each other at the right time and they’ll tell you about it ad nauseam. US says they talk about getting married all the time and that Blake is planning the right moment to propose. Plus Gwen, 46, is trying to get pregnant while Blake is “OK with having children of his own or helping Gwen raise her kids.”
People has a very similar story about how these two are not engaged yet because they’re both on tour and the timing isn’t right but that “everyone is expecting it to happen at some point.” We know because it’s on the cover of US! Just wait to tell us until you have some real news. (After I wrote this Kaiser pointed me to this article on TMZ claiming these two have already hired a wedding planner. Don’t they have to get engaged first? What is going on?)
Gwen also takes the September cover of Cosmopolitan, where she of course talks about Blake. The styling is typical Gwen – garish makeup, loud prints and bizarrely cut dresses. She’s getting the most headlines for what she said about the end of her marriage, that no one would believe what happened but she can’t really talk about it. Is she talking about Gavin’s rumored relationship with the nanny or is there more to it? Is the nanny thing a smokescreen? So many questions.
On looking pretty tight with Blake Shelton during her second season on the show: “We were laughing our heads off when we saw the blind auditions. I love NBC, but they for sure edited stuff to look like we were flirting. They chose to run with that story before anything was even real. I hardly knew him. But it was like it was in the air?happening before it happened.”
On whether anybody knows the specifics about what happened with Gavin Rossdale: “Nobody except for my parents, the people involved, and whoever they told. Nobody would believe it if I could really say what happened. I went through months and months of torture.?
On whether she knew something was going on: “All you have to do is listen to every single song I?ve ever written and it?s all there. It?s an ongoing theme that I?ve had for a long time.?
On writing a song with Blake, which she never did with Gavin: ??We were both having trust issues, as you would if you were us. It was like, I have so many problems. How can I now be getting into another potentially huge problem? What am I doing? Blake wrote the song and sent it to me. He was like, ?Help me finish it.? I wrote a verse and sent it to him, but he was gone because he doesn?t live in L.A. He didn?t have Wi-Fi, so he wasn?t answering me back! As soon as he came back to town, he brought his guitar over. We were like, ?We wrote a song together! This is crazy!??
[From Cosmopolitan]
Gwen has admitted many times that she writes about her relationships and that her songs are obviously about her life. It’s easy enough to read the lyrics and try to figure it out. (Easier than actually listening to her music.) On her latest release, the songs Used to Love You and Rocket Ship seem to be about Gavin, and suggest that he did her wrong and was controlling. “You thought / There were no boundaries / What, you just pushed me too far / I guess nobody taught you… how to love” and “You’ve been wrapping these chains all around me / On a leash, thinking I’d obey… / That I wouldn’t, that I couldn’t escape.” That’s it though, it’s all vague. Gwen’s last album came out in 2006 and there are so many songs about fighting and making up that it makes me think she was having problems with Gavin from early on in their marriage. So maybe that’s part of the reason why she’s so over the top with Blake, it just seems easier with him. That could be what she means, that they put on such a show that nobody would believe how it really was at home.
People Magazine also writes that Gwen and Gavin are getting along as coparents and that “They haven’t had any problems getting along when it comes to their boys.”

| Jennifer Garner: 'there's no richer time in a woman's life than when having babies' | Added 7 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Note before we get started: Garner’s exact quote according to E! was “There’s no more rich time in a woman’s life than when you’re having babies and when you’re trying to figure out how to parent them and balance everything,” but that would not fit into our headline format.
Jennifer Garner was on the Today Show yesterday, where she was promoting a kids’ film I have barely heard of until now, Nine Lives. It’s about a business mogul whose personality gets trapped inside the body of a cat so he can reconnect with his family (trailer here) and also costars Kevin Spacey and Christopher Walken. It’s the kind of dopey family-friendly movie that Garner usually does, but Kevin Spacey must be hurting for roles. Garner’s interview covered her usual subjects: her family, kids and the paparazzi. I was struck by how much fake hair they put on her, and how Botoxy she looks in motion, but she’s been looking that way for some time. Here’s what she said and you can see the video above. She starts talking around :50.
On the message of the movie
I just love the idea of celebrating the idea that parenting is about time. You can’t buy parenting no matter what. You have to actually get down on the floor and spend some time together.
On her career
I’m really glad that I’m playing moms because there’s no more rich time in a woman’s life than when you’re having babies and when you’re trying to figure out how to parent them and balance everything, and the emotional weight of seeing your children struggle. Whatever it is, there’s so much there to draw from that it feels like I’ve aged into where I should be as far as acting goes. You know what I mean? As far as my career, I feel like I finally fit.
On Samuel hating the paparazzi
He sees them and he says ‘Mom, go out and tell them your son does not like it.’ It kills me.
On helping get privacy laws enacted
Oh my gosh, it is so much better. I really do thank all of the legislatures who saw the wisdom in not allowing paparazzi to lie in wait outside of your school, doctor’s offices, outside of your home.
“As modern families go is your family doing ok?”
We are definitely a modern family, we are doing really well.
You went to Europe recently?
Ben was working in London on Justice League and I felt like, ‘Well, the kids should have that experience.’ He and I are great friends and we just all went en masse. The kids and I had an amazing time, and he worked hard and got to join us for some. I want them to see everything’s OK.
On how they’re a team for the kids
It has to be, you don’t have a choice, it has to be.
[Quotes from video of Today Show and via E! News]
In the video excerpt I saw (the one above), Garner doesn’t say that line about how there’s no richer time in a woman’s life than when she’s having babies. I got that from E!’s recap of the interview. I don’t doubt that she said it, she said something really similar when she was promoting The Odd Life of Timothy Green. Garner said “there?s no deeper want for a woman” than to be a mother. Rereading what I wrote at the time that’s true for her maybe but it’s unfair to claim that it’s a universal experience, as is this. She could have said “for me” and either statement would have been fine though. There are so many childless women, by choice and otherwise, and so many women with children who have a really tough time for various reasons. I would not call having a baby or raising a child the “richest” time. I would call it difficult. What about all the women who have postpartum depression and anxiety? It’s a throwaway comment and to be fair she’s not one of those celebrities who always extrapolates her experiences, she very rarely does that. In these two scant times she’s done it though, it’s been about motherhood. This is what’s important to her and this is why she’s kept her family together no matter what.
Here are some photos from the Nine Lives premiere earlier this week and of Garner out recently.

Here are Katy Perry Orlando Bloom jetting off to Italy for a romantic vacation.
The Hollywood stars weren’t alone on during their romp, as others beachgoers were spotted sunbathing in the area.
It’s unclear, however, if others were around when Bloom decided to strip down.
