I still enjoy hearing about Lori Loughlin?s alternate reality. In LoriWorld, federal crimes are just mere ?family matters? which can be waved away through denial and leaks to People Magazine. In LoriWorld, you can get away with anything if you?re a ?faith based? faux-churchy white mother. In LoriWorld, you are seen as self-sacrificing if you decide to take a deal rather than sit back and watch your daughters and your husband roll on you to cut a better deal. Yes, that?s the latest from People Magazine: after last week?s news that the FBI is investigating her daughters? roles in the college admissions scam, Lori wants everyone to know that she would do anything to make sure her daughters would never be put in ?harm?s way.?
Lori Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli continue to deal with the legal fallout for their alleged involvement in the college admissions scandal ? and the couple is willing to protect their daughters at all costs. Last week, DailyMail.com first reported that one of the couple?s daughters ? either Olivia Jade, 19, or Isabella Rose, 20 ? was under criminal investigation in the case. Also last week, the Wall Street Journal reported that several students had received ?target letters? from federal investigators who believed they might have been complicit in their parents? alleged acts.
A source close to Loughlin confirms the couple ?has every reason to believe? their daughters could be targets of prosecution ? and they are taking their daughters? well-being into account as they proceed in the case.
?Lori will not do anything to put her daughters in harm?s way,? the source tells PEOPLE. ?She is like a mama bear when it comes to the girls, and she will do whatever she has to do to protect them from prosecution, especially malicious prosecution. Her top priority in all of this is to protect her daughters.?
?The prosecution could easily charge the daughters in an attempt to get them [Loughlin and Giannulli] to plead guilty,? the source says. ?But investigators have not disclosed any information that they may or may not have that would implicate either one of the daughters.?

Is it malicious prosecution if the feds are like ?hey we have evidence of all four members of your family doing federal crimes, and we?ll charge your daughters based on this evidence?? And wouldn?t Lori have better protected her daughters if she had just taken the first deal on the table, rather than naively believing she could try her case in the court of People Magazine? And I guaran-fking-tee that the feds have more than enough evidence that one or both daughters committed crimes. Like the faked rowing photos. Also: Olivia Jade was out partying this weekend. She clearly DGAF about her mom?s fake martyr act.
Last thing Us Weekly started the ball rolling last week when they claimed Lori?s friends never really liked her husband Mossimo and that those friends believed the entire scam was Mossimo?s fault. Now Us Weekly reports that ?Lori is constantly arguing with Mossimo because she is beginning to grasp that they are in very serious jeopardy.? This whole thing is going to rip her family apart and they?re all going to turn on each other.

As we discussed last week, there?s a very involved conspiracy going around about Britney Spears. Britney checked into a mental health facility this month as part of the ongoing drama following her dad?s health issues. Jamie Spears has been in-and-out of hospitals since December, and Jamie has been Britney?s conservator for more than a decade. He managed or micromanaged every part of Britney?s life. She reportedly fell apart during his health issues. The conspiracy was that Britney was being held against her will at the facility and that all she wants is to be free of her dad and her doctors and the conservatorship in general. But TMZ has another take:
Britney Spears is at the tail end of her 30-day stay at a mental health facility and weve learned more about how she landed there in the first place. As we reported, Britney has had a rough time dealing with her dads recent illness. Jamie and Britney are super close hes been her conservator for nearly a dozen years and his health battles have taken a big toll on her.
Were told at the same time, Britneys doctors were adjusting her meds which had lost their efficacy. Britneys mental health issues were stabilized with a cocktail of medicines that were designed specifically her. Over time, those meds were increasingly ineffective and doctors needed to create a new cocktail. Were told there were problems. First, they had to wean Britney off the existing meds. This cannot be done quickly and theres a risk of suicide if its not done right its that serious.
As doctors weaned her off the meds, they created a new cocktail, but its all trial and error, and there were errors that made Britney unstable and ultimately unwilling to cooperate with doctors. She was admitted to the mental health facility and were told doctors think theyve now found the right mixture of drugs. Britney got a day pass Sunday to spend time with her boyfriend, Sam Asghari, in Bev Hills. She went back to the facility the same day.
One other thing there have been reports the conservatorship has forced meds on Britney against her will. Not true. The conservatorship Britney is under does not permit the conservator to force drugs on the person for whom the conservatorship was created. On that note, there have also been reports Jamie Spears forced Britney into the mental health facility. The type of conservatorship Britney has through the probate court does not allow a conservator to force someone into a mental health facility. Whats more, were told Jamie is adamant he did not want his daughter to go to the facility because he thought it would leak out to the media and he felt there were better ways of solving her problems. Were told Britney is the one who said she wanted to go.

Conspiracies around Britney crop up every month, and I tend to believe about half of them. In this case, I think there probably were some issues with her medication and it makes sense if her doctors were worried about her long-term usage of those medications losing some of the efficacy. But I also think it?s possible that Britney is like so many people who suffer with serious and life-altering mental illnesses: she was on prescription drugs which helped her and she thought she was ?cured? so she decided to stop taking them. Or she stopped taking her meds because she didn?t like how they felt. My guess/conspiracy is that without anyone to monitor her full-time, Britney just stopped taking her meds at some point and Jamie gave her some options, one of which was the mental health facility. Basically, this TMZ story comes from Jamie Spears, who is trying to paint this whole thing is the best light possible. We?ll never really know what has happened with Britney over the past decade, honestly.

Jenna Dewan was on Ellen when John Cena was hosting. They bonded over the fact that Jenna is a WWE fan now, thanks to her boyfriend, Steve Kazee. She said shes been through a tough year and alluded to her divorce but didnt mention much. Its been impressive how above-board and kind to each other Jenna and her ex, Channing Tatum, have been. Im sure they had some issues, but theyre not leaking to the press. Jenna has a new book coming out, Gracefully You, How to Be Your Best Self Everyday. It sounds like shes still going to take the high road and that it will be a lifestyle and self help book. She was sweet when she was describing it though and just said that shes a hippie and its about what works for her. The book isnt out until October though, which makes me wonder why shes promoting it now. Heres some of what they said and the interview is below.
You tried a certain recovery method?
Cupping. Ill try anything. I like alternative body hacks. I woke up and my rib was out of place. So I was in Chicago and I yelped body worker nearby. [The woman said] how about cupping? That was on for about 10 days. Theyre like giant hickeys that dont go away
So you rib hurts, someone gives you a boatload of hickeys on your back, and then your back hurts so your rib doesnt hurt anymore?
Basically, they just like changed the pain so youre handling it a little bit better.
Thats pretty intense. Also you have a book coming out.
Its no secret, I had an intense year and a lot of change. Im a hippie at heart. Im sort of a seeker. I like to do practices and rituals and things that sort of connect me to something greater than myself, bigger than myself. Through that, I used a lot of those techniques to help me through change. Theres a lot of personal stories, theres a lot that I go into. Theres also rituals and my hippie side that I put in there. I went to Peru and I lived for two weeks with this tribe. Ive always been that sort of person. I put it all together in this book. Theres poetry, theres funny stories, theres dance. It was really cathartic and fun to write this.
Remember when Gwyneth Paltrow showed up in a backless tube dress to a red carpet to show off her cupping marks? Im surprised Goop hasnt said she invented cupping. I like how Jenna owns the fact that she?s a hippie. She also admitted that the cupping only worked because it made one part of her body hurt more than the other. John explained that perfectly! She didnt defend it at all, shes not all super-serious and touting it as a cure all like Goop, she?s self conscious about it and says shes the type of person who tries things like this. Some people are into alternative treatments and spiritual practices. As long as they admit it?s their thing and don?t try to tell other people how to live their lives that?s ok. Some of those things can be helpful too (not cupping necessarily, but I have not tried it and am not going to attempt to figure it out now. Ive done acupuncture though).

I?m breaking up the many photos from last night?s Avengers: Endgame premiere into several posts. I?m doing that because god bless it, the premiere wasn?t a total sausage party and there were actually some interesting fashion looks from the ladies (and some of the gents). So behold, here?s Scarlett Johansson actually looking like the va-va-voom bombshell we used to know. For too long, she was doing funky things to her hair, but she?s back to longer hair and a good blonde. Her tight AF dress is Versace and it?s honestly great and super-flattering. Her date was her boyfriend Colin Jost. I bet they totally get married this year.
Here?s Sebastian Stan in a blue suit. I?ve never really gotten hyped for him, but enjoy.
Chris Evans was also in blue and again, I know a lot of people (like Hecate) have all the feels for him. I do like him better with the beard his hair doesn?t look great here though?

Paul Rudd, looking like an ageless snack.
I like that Evangeline Lilly wore a suit, but this suit is terrible and her hair sucks too. Damn.

Here are more photos from the LA premiere of Avengers: Endgame. They?ve been doing smaller premieres and screenings around the world for weeks now, but the LA premiere last night was the first and only event for the entire cast and every member of the Marvel franchises in total. Endgame really does spell the END for many beloved characters. I would assume Tony Stark and Pepper Potts are not coming back ever again? Gwyneth Paltrow came out for what is probably her last Marvel event. She wore a G. Label tuxedo minidress which showed off her legs and hid her neck. The neck bow is too large and puffy and it makes her look like she?s wearing a black neck brace. Otherwise, she looks good? Her hair is okay.
Benedict Cumberbatch looks AWFUL these days. He recently shaved his head and it looks like he lost weight and he just looks terrible. Sophie Hunter knows it too.
Brie Larson in Celine. I mean? it?s a shiny satin and taken with her cheap-looking dye job, she looks sort of like a game show hostess. It?s just very dated, and she could do so much better.
Danai Gurira in hot Pink great color for her and you can tell she was feeling it.
Robert Downey Jr. and Susan Downey. Tony Stark has made RDJ a rich man, but I suspect he?s happy to be done with this.
Zoe Saldana in Givenchy. The color is great but the dress sucks. She loves some weird sh-t though.
Bradley Cooper didn?t come with Irina Shayk OR Lady Gaga, lmao. He flew solo.

People were shook when Natalie Portman turned up at last night?s LA premiere event for Avengers: Endgame. They were shook because? Portman was basically kicked out of the Thor/Marvel franchise years ago. Thor was given other lady friends and foils and there was some kind of reference to how Thor and Portman?s character had broken up. So why did she come to the premiere? I have no idea. I suspect she isn?t in Endgame, but what do I know? I do know that her Dior ensemble was a mixed bag the skirt is stunning. The top part is blah.
These are maybe the worst pants I?ve ever seen on Chris Hemsworth. Usually, I don?t even notice what he?s wearing, really, but YIKES on this suit. Chris was there with his wife Elsa Pataky, obviously. Elsa was so happy.
Tessa Thompson in Ronald van der Kemp. This dress would have been a disaster on anyone else, but I love it on her. Delightful and strange.
Look what the cat dragged in. Literally, Miley Cyrus looks like something a cat brought into the house. Miley was there to support her brother-in-law Chris Hemsworth, and Liam Hemsworth looked? hot. As always. Miley and Liam both wore Saint Laurent. Look at Miley?s terrible makeup, my lord.
Matt Damon came out to support his friend Chris Hemsworth too. Matt and Luciana and their family basically live down in Australia now and it feels like Chris and Matt are joined at the hip. Remember when John Krasinski and Emily Blunt were joined at the hip with Matt & Lucy? I wonder why they had a couple-breakup.
And finally, Chris Pratt and his fiancee Katherine Schwarzenegger. She looked pretty and wholesome. They make so much sense as a couple.
