Here is Selena Gomez enjoying a blissful sunshine break in Mexico and she was more than happy to showcase her beach-ready body.
She is most certainly all grown up as she flaunted her figure in a sexy swimsuit while spending a day on the beach with pals.
Selenita’s physique was perfectly highlighted by the cut-out panels of the Mint Swim swimwear while she left her voluminous locks fall at her shoulders in natural waves.

It seems that no celebrity is safe from fat shaming critics, and earlier this week Selena Gomez received some nasty feedback after posting some bathing suit snapshots.
But rather than letting the haters get to her, the 22-year-old ?Wizards of Waverly Place? starlet posted an empowering message for women of all shapes and sizes.
Gomez wrote, ?I love being happy with me y?all,? and added the hashtag, ?#theresmoreto love,? to let everyone know she?s all about that bass, too!

| Amber Heard in a Stella McCartney suit at Tribeca: stunning or sloppy? | Added 9 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Here are photos of Amber Heard at the Tribeca premiere of Adderall Diaries. This is another James Franco production starring James Franco. Pamela Romanowsky officially directed, but I’m sure this movie is all Franco-ed out. Hollywood Reporter calls the film “a tale of abuse and cloudy memory that is almost as confused as its hero.” The abuse in question is an overuse of the prescription drug Adderall (as part of a murder mystery), but Franco insists he knows nothing about the drug in real life. He seems so scattered/ADHD though. If Franco could focus on a few projects at a time, his talent could shine. Instead, he does everything halfway and literally falls asleep on film sets, in seminars, and while teaching. What I’m staying is that this movie won’t do anything for Amber’s career.
Amber looks good in this Stella McCartney suit. Stella’s designs are usually dreadfully unflattering, but Amber’s rocking this suit better than the dudes at the premiere. Johnny Depp couldn’t make it to NYC. He used to attend even her tiniest events, but he’s still recovering from that strange hand injury. Johnny’s not working on Pirates 5 yet, although producers are getting antsy. Johnny’s go-carting accident cost the film tons of money, but the budget is already huge. What’s a few more millions down the drain? I’m including photos of Ed Harris, Franco, Cynthia Nixon, and Christian Slater in the gallery.
Here are some pics of Amber and pals at the Wednesday Tiffany event in NYC. Amber’s wearing The Row, which surprises me. Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen usually don’t design sultry, “I just rolled out of bed” clothes, but the rust color is nice. Olivia is wearing a tassled Marchesa nightmare. Reese is wearing Oscar de la Renta, which looks more peplum-y than the catalogue version. Reese’s styling makes this look like another little navy-blue dress.

Here are some assorted photos of LeAnn Rimes in England today. She flew back to England a few days ago because she?s still working with David Gray on some sort of project or album or something called Snow In Vegas. Like, they?re doing some duets and such. Don?t ask me to care! In any case, David and LeAnn performed a duet at the BBC Breakfast Studio in Manchester, and we have some photos of them outside the studio and at the train station in Manchester. LeAnn also tweeted about it like crazy, using the #LeInLondon hashtag which she?s still trying to make into a thing. Here?s part of the

| Josh Hartnett: 'I?ve definitely said no to some of the wrong people' | Added 9 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

|
At some point, it really feels like people stopped giving a crap about Josh Hartnett (probably when he started looking like Ashton Kutcher, amirite?). About 14 years ago, he was the next big thing, the bad boy/heartthrob/Brando/James Dean. That was how he was billed, that was the press around him. Then he made some terrible career decisions and he spent a lot less time in LA and NYC. And people sort of forgot about him. He?s currently in Showtime?s Penny Dreadful, and he?s promoting the new season by sitting down for a strangely accusatory Playboy 20 Questions. Like, half the piece is the Playboy interviewer grilling Josh about all of the parts he could have had if only he had made smarter career choices. Just FYI: Josh talked about some of this stuff last year in Details, like how he was offered Superman, Spiderman and Batman. In this Playboy piece, the focus is mainly on how Christopher Nolan wanted him for Batman.
Why he turned down Batman, Superman and Spider-Man: ?The intensity of my sudden fame was overwhelming for me, and in the middle of that, I felt I couldn?t trust any new person I met or their motives. I spent a lot of time back home in Minnesota with my friends and family. I did smaller movies, and I stopped working for a while. If I could go back and take with me my wisdom of today, I wish I?d been more resilient. I hope I wouldn?t be as panicked as I was. Maybe I?d have known that no matter what people try to take from you, you don?t have to give it to them. I?ve definitely grown a bit.
The blowback of saying ?no? to Christopher Nolan: ?I?ve definitely said no to some of the wrong people. I said no because I was tired and wanted to spend more time with my friends and family. That?s frowned upon in this industry. People don?t like being told no. I don?t like it. I learned my lesson when [writer-director] Christopher Nolan and I talked about Batman. I decided it wasn?t for me. Then he didn?t want to put me in The Prestige. They not only hired their Batman for it, they also hired my girlfriend at the time? That?s when I realized relationships were formed in the fire of that first Batman film and I should have been part of the relationship with this guy Nolan, who I felt was incredibly cool and very talented. I was so focused on not being pigeonholed and so scared of being considered only one thing as an actor. I should have thought, Well, then, work harder, man. Watching Christian Bale go on to do so many other things has been just awesome. I mean, he?s been able to overcome that. Why couldn?t I see that at the time?
Working with Ben Affleck back in the day: ?In what universe does Ben Affleck win an Academy Award for a best picture he starred in and directed? I knew he had it in him to do whatever he wanted to do. Ben has always been the smartest guy, but he holds that in reserve for some reason.?
Why he?s dated so many co-stars: ?I think it?s a respectable way of going about it. I?ve met very important people in my life doing films. Sometimes that had consequences that were just awful for everybody involved. Some were fantastic all the way through. Everybody makes mistakes dating people they work with. They?re whom I?m attracted to because I share experiences with them and understand a bit about what they are and what they do. If I were able to go back in time, I don?t know if I could have done anything any different.
[From Playboy]
I feel like Josh made that ?why do you date costars?? question unnecessarily complicated. Lots of actors date costars, it?s a pretty normal thing. As for the stuff about Nolan? I didn?t realize how far Hartnett got into the process of casting Batman. Do you think Nolan really took it out on him for saying no? Probably, although I would imagine Nolan has a different version of events. I don?t blame directors for not giving Hartnett much time after he refused major projects ? the attitude among directors must be, ?Hey, he doesn?t want to be a star, so don?t give any project that would make him a star.?
Oh, and that?s Tamsin Egerton in the background ? that?s his girlfriend. I think they?re living together now. They were costars on a film that has never been released.

| Zoe Saldana: Being a 'self-focused' mom doesn't make you a 'selfish' mom | Added 9 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

This is a little checkup with Zoe Saldana’s quest to get back in fighting shape after giving birth to twin boys. She’s invited us into the process, which is unusual and (to me) preferable than seeing her bragging on a magazine cover about how chasing kids around made her snap back. Zoe’s intense film schedule will start back up in less than two months. She’s nervous about her baby weight even though those few lingering pounds look really fantastic on her. Zoe already talked about her “frustrating, painful” struggle to get her old body back. If she wasn’t an action movie star, I wouldn’t understand her rush. But I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that movie studios are breathing down her neck. Marvel famously visited Chris Pratt at home when he was losing weight, so it’s not beyond the realm of possibility here.
Zoe’s probably being really hard on herself too. She took to her Facebook page as an update. She promised to do this last week with a “Let?s do it together. Let?s talk about it, hear each other out, and seek advice when we need it.” So Zoe’s talking it out. She’s a little upset about her busy week, but she resolves to prioritize herself:
“I made it! After a week of postponing my workout due to life & meetings & work, I prioritized it. I prioritized myself. A good friend once told me that being self-focussed doesn’t necessarily mean you are being selfish. Be self-focussed!”
[Zoe Saldana on Facebook]
There’s also a post-workout selfie video at the link (and FYI, Guardians director James Gunn “liked” this post). This is just a tiny update, yet it reveals a lot about Zoe’s state of mind. She has baby twins, a husband, and multiple movies on the way. She has a nanny to help, but Zoe is so busy. I do sense the mommy-guilt complex in her words. Zoe is correct, it’s okay to focus on yourself even as a new mom. I would argue that some “alone” time for mom is healthy for the whole family. Zoe will work it out.

| Gwyneth Paltrow admits she only made it four days on the SNAP Challenge | Added 9 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |
|
|
|
|
|
Gwyneth Paltrow devoted her weekly Goop-letter to her efforts with the Food Stamp Challenge this week. Even though this comes after several days of abuse hurled at Gwyneth for ?poverty tourism? and peasant-lies, I kind of think this was probably her goal from the start. She didn?t dedicate herself to the challenge of trying to live on $29 a week (for food) but she always planned on writing about it for Goop. You could even say that she half-assed it for a greater purpose: to make a larger statement about how we eat, the food we buy and how women need equal pay. You can read her whole Goop-post here.
Last week, chef (and great man) Mario Batali challenged me to raise awareness and money for the NYC Food Bank by trying to live on $29 dollars for the week (what low income families on SNAP are trying to survive on). Dubious that I could complete the week, I donated to the Food Bank at the outset, and all of us at the goop office began the challenge.
As I suspected, we only made it through about four days, when I personally broke and had some chicken and fresh vegetables (and in full transparency, half a bag of black licorice). My perspective has been forever altered by how difficult it was to eat wholesome, nutritious food on that budget, even for just a few days?a challenge that 47 million Americans face every day, week, and year. A few takeaways from the week were that vegetarian staples liked dried beans and rice go a long way?and we were able to come up with a few recipes on a super tight budget.
After trying to complete this challenge (I would give myself a C-), I am even more outraged that there is still not equal pay in the workplace. Sorry to go on a tangent, but many hardworking mothers are being asked to do the impossible: Feed their families on a budget which can only support food businesses that provide low-quality food. The food system in our beautiful country needs to be subjected to a heavy revision?it is a cyclical problem, with repercussions that we all feel. I?m not suggesting everyone eat organic food from some high horse in the sky. I?m saying everyone should be able to afford fresh, real food. And if women were paid an equal wage, families might have more of a choice in the grocery aisles, not to mention in the rest of their lives.
?I know hunger doesn?t always touch us all directly?but it does touch us all indirectly. After this week, I am even more grateful that I am able to provide high-quality food for my kids. Let?s all do what we can to make this a basic human right and not a privilege.
[From Goop]
A C-minus? I guess the only thing Gwyneth can NOT do well is pretend to be poor.
Gwyneth also cites statistics about equal pay and she literally types ?hats off to Patricia Arquette? for drawing attention to the issue. Real question: do some people think that Arquette was, like, the first person arguing for equal pay? As for the correlation Gwyneth draws between equal pay and food insecurity, as much as I want to nitpick her to death, if we?re looking at the realpolitik, she?s right. Food insecurity is linked to women?s pay and more often than not, it falls on mothers to care about food and what their children eat. Is that the way it SHOULD be? Of course not. In a perfect world, women and men would have equal pay for equal work and men and women would have equal interest in ensuring food security for their children.
But yes, Gwyneth did half-ass this challenge. She only stuck with it long enough to have her Goop staff come up with some recipes involving eggs and rice. Guess what she used all those limes for? Zest and garnish. Classic.
