| Britney Spears doesn't actually want to do a sit-down interview with Oprah | Added 3 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Soon after Oprah?s cultural-reset interview with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Britney Spears? fans began demanding that Oprah do a similar interview with Britney Spears. I honestly thought it was a good idea Oprah is good at getting celebrities to open up, and we haven?t heard from Britney in a sit-down, long-form interview in many, many years. Now would be the moment for it for both Britney and Oprah. There were even some claims in recent weeks that Britney was all for it and that Oprah was down too. But here?s Us Weekly pouring cold water on all of it:
Not so fast. Britney Spears wants to speak out amid speculation about her life under her conservatorship but she?s not planning on doing a bombshell interview like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did, sources close to the singer tell Us Weekly exclusively.
?The report about Britney considering a tell-all is greatly exaggerated and essentially giving false hope to the fans who tweeted calls for it after the Harry and Meghan interview,? an insider tells Us of the 39-year-old pop star. ?Britney would like to tell her story and has always wanted to write a memoir, but the conservatorship makes that difficult and it?s not something on her immediate radar, anyway.?
A second source with knowledge of the situation says the Grammy winner wants to have her voice heard, but in another format.
?Britney hasn?t mentioned doing an interview. She wants to speak and could do so on social media with the assistance of [boyfriend Sam Asghari] on his platforms if it got to be this emergency situation for her,? the insider says, noting, ?She doesn?t want to be filtered.?
Fans were excited when reports surfaced earlier this month that Spears was considering a sit-down interview. The Louisiana native has been stuck in a heated legal battle with her father, Jamie Spears, over her conservatorship, which she?s been under since 2008 after suffering a public breakdown amid her divorce from Kevin Federline, with whom she shares sons Preston, 15, and Jayden, 14. Her efforts to be freed from the restrictive terms of her conservatorship sparked the #FreeBritney movement in 2019, which gained traction following the release of the ?Framing Britney Spears? episode of FX and Hulu?s The New York Times Presents series in February.
[From Us Weekly]
I get that Britney is probably tired of being filtered and she?s likely worried about probing follow-up questions from an interviewer if she did sit down with someone. Britney has more than earned the right to tell her own story in whatever way she chooses. But I do think someone like Oprah or Gayle King could really help her. I even think someone like Anderson Cooper might be a great interviewer for Britney. They would help create the chronology of events and what?s happened to her with her father and all of it. Whew.

| Kylie Jenner donated $5K to her friend's GoFundMe when the goal was $10K | Added 3 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

As we discussed, Kylie Jenner got a lot of crap on social media and in the comment section of this blog. One of Kylie?s makeup artists/friends (Samuel Rauda) was in some kind of bad vehicular accident and he has a bad head injury. Kylie donated $5000 to his GoFundMe page, which was set up by his family, and she encouraged her millions of followers to check out the page and donate if they could. The reason why Kylie was getting slammed all over the place was because the GoFundMe fundraiser was for $120,000 and Kylie only donated $5K, despite being a near-billionaire. Well, Kylie heard y?all and she wanted to clarify some sh-t: when she donated the $5K, the goal set by the GoFundMe was allegedly $10,000. Hm.
Mega-wealthy reality star Kylie Jenner came under fire for encouraging fans to help fund a celebrity makeup artist?s medical bills ? but a source told Page Six she did so believing she had covered the remainder of the costs herself. By the time Jenner had become aware of Samuel Rauda?s request for financial help on GoFundMe, $6,000 of the original $10,000 goal had already been raised, the source said.
The ?Keeping Up With the Kardashians? star then donated $5,000 of her own money to put the total over the desired amount, the source said. Jenner then posted about Rauda ? who ?underwent major surgery? on March 14 ? on social media in an effort to raise ?awareness? since Rauda is a close friend of her current makeup artist Ariel Tejada, the insider said.
She wrote on her Instagram Stories alongside a picture of Rauda, ?May God watch over you and protect you @makeupbysamuel everyone take a moment to say a prayer for Sam who got into an accident this past weekend. And swipe up to visit his families go fund me.?
We?re told it was at this point ? because Jenner had ?brought a lot of attention to? the GoFundMe ? that the campaign?s goal was increased above its original $10,000 request, making Jenner?s $5,000 donation appear small in comparison.
[From Page Six]
I know we?re talking about Kardashian-Jenners here and all of that, but? I kind of believe this version? I don?t think Kylie would be so clueless to post Rauda?s GoFundMe page, having only donated $5K, if there was (at the time) still tens of thousands of dollars left to fulfill the goal. I believe the original goal was probably $10K and the Rauda family raised the goal AFTER Kylie posted the info. I wonder if Kylie will donate again? Hm.

| Ana de Armas addresses rumors that she's back together with Ben Affleck | Added 3 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

How many of you sat through Zack Synder?s Justice League this weekend? I did. I agree it?s better than the first one, but that?s about as much praise as I can give it (which isn?t much). However I can see why there is a lot of talk about the Batfleck again, Zach certainly did him justice (ha! See what I did there?) But has all the renewed interest in Ben Affleck coming back as Batman gotten the attention of his ex-girlfriend Ana De Armas? There are rumors that the former highly caffeinated, dog-walking flames might be dating again after splitting two months ago. Ana got those started when she posted the shot above to her Instagram stories. That is the same half heart necklace that Ben got so much attention for wearing back in May 2020 while they were dating. Soon everyone flooded her comment section asking about Ben. But Ana shut that news down with a follow up story that was just several versions of ?Nope!?
Nothing to see here! Ana De Armas appeared to shut down rumors that she and Ben Affleck are back together two months after their split.
The Knives Out star, 32, raised eyebrows on Sunday, March 21, when she uploaded a selfie to her Instagram Stories that showed her wearing a half-heart necklace. The Oscar winner, 48, was previously spotted rocking the other half of the gold pendant in May 2020 when they were still in a relationship.
De Armas? captionless post sparked speculation that the former couple were giving their romance another try. However, she seemingly denied that was the case on Monday, March 22, by posting a series of GIFs that read ?Nope,? ?No? and ?I Don?t Think So? on her Instagram Stories alongside a hand making a peace sign.
[From Us]
CB asked last year who held the other half of the necklace and we still don?t know. There is no right or wrong way to wear them, of course, but I have never known anyone to openly display their half unless they wanted to make a statement. Those who wear them for sentimental reasons tend to tuck them inside their shirts. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. Or, maybe Ana wanted the intended person to see it, she simply doesn?t want us to know who that is.
Regardless of whether she meant for it to catch this much attention, it did get Ana?s name in the headlines right when Ben was trending on Twitter. Unfortunately, all the articles mentioning the rumors and the necklace also bring up her life-sized cutout being dumped in the trash. I don?t really care one way or the other if they hook up again. I do think Ben has been working on his sobriety and that he?s been pretty successful of late. I hope that?s his focus and not who his next relationship is. Ana is lovely and very talented. I don?t really think she needs gimmicks to keep her name in the news. But I don?t think she?s above pulling gimmicks to keep her name in the news either.

| Sandra Oh: 'This is the first time we are even able to voice our fear & anger' | Added 3 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Anti-Asian violence has been increasing over the last year after Trump linked COVID to China and Asia. We have been horrified by the attacks on Asian elders. Eight people were murdered by a white supremacist who targeted Asian spas in Georgia. It is absolutely despicable that the press and local police captain have tried to humanize the terrorist. Since this unconscionable event has taken place, there have been several Stop Asian Hate rallies organized. It was one such rally in Pittsburgh, PA that Sandra Oh came out to support. In a video captured by photojournalist Kristina Serafin, Sandra gave an impassioned speech about being proud to be Asian. Sandra stated that Asians belong in America just as much as anyone else. Below is more on the event from Access Online:
Local photojournalist Kristina Serafini captured Sandra?s powerful speech in a video posted to Twitter, and the clip quickly went viral.
?To everyone here?I will challenge everyone here: If you see something, will you help me? If you see one of our sisters and brothers in need, will you help us?? Sandra said, after acknowledging her gratitude for the opportunity to gather with other attendees and share their collective outrage.
?For many of us in our communities,? Sandra continued, ?this is the first time we are even able to voice our fear and our anger, and I really am so grateful to everyone willing to listen? One thing that I know is that many in our community are very scared, and I understand that. And one way to go through and get through our fear is to reach out to our communities.?
The 49-year-old went on to encourage those listening to join forces, and she added how honored she felt to be able to express herself publicly.
?We must understand, as Asian-Americans, we just need to reach out our hand to our sisters and brothers and say, ?Help me and I?m here,? she added. ?And just for one thing, I am proud to be Asian! I belong here! Many of us don?t get that chance to be able to say that, so I just wanted to give us an opportunity to be able to shout that. Thank you so much.?
[From Access Online]
I stand with my Asian brothers and sisters including those from South and Southeast Asia. This violence is feeling very much like what was happening to people who were from the Middle East or were Muslim adjacent after 9/11. We should all stand with the Asian community to combat this anti-Asian sentiment. White supremacy is a drug that needs to be eradicated. I have always been a fan of Sandra Oh and she will always be Christina Yang for me. Sandra has spoken up when it wasnt popular to do so and is proud of her heritage. I love that she showed up at this rally and emphasized that are we connected to each other. People like Sandra Oh who have large platforms need to continue to speak out. Call and check in with your Asian friends and family and let them know you stand with them. I will no longer allow the divide and conquer attitudes that come from white supremacy to prevail. Because I truly believe that what happens to one of us, happens to all of us.
