Susan Lucci is 71. I don?t know why this surprises me, as my mother jokes that All My Children was my unofficial babysitter while I was growing up in the early 1970s. The Daytime Emmy winner (who will always be Erica Kane to me) still looks amazing, and, of course, she works hard to maintain a fit lifestyle.
In in interview with Women?s Fitness, Susan said she works out six days a week. I work out five days a week and now I feel inadequate. She admitted, ?I try to take one day off, because youre supposed to take a day off.? Note she said ?supposed to?. She doesn?t lock away her sneakers on that seventh day, confessing that she?ll ?always do something, because I find my body craves it. My body craves pizza and Buffalo wings. Life?s not fair sometimes.
One thing she and I have in common is the time of the day devoted to staying in shape. She says, I like to work out first thing in the morning because then I know, no matter what happens for the rest of the day, I?ve done something good for myself. After a long day of writing, of which posting here is the best part of it, I just want to collapse on the couch, so if I don?t go to the gym in the morning, I don?t workout that day. Working out in the morning also alleviates the feeling of guilt I carry with me all day if I don?t go. I totally understand Susan saying its a craving, because I feel the same wayeven though my relationship with exercise can often border on abusive.
Susan practices Pilates moves to stay in shape (on a chair she promotes), but has always made fitness a part of her routine, especially after preparing to complete on Dancing with the Stars. She told the magazine, ?I knew I?d have to step up my program, to get an even stronger core to be dancing on the show.? And, as a result of stepping it up (the lady did a pretty mean mambo), she now has flat abs and she?s proud of them.
One thing the petite lady may not be able to achieve through her workouts is her height. She jokes, ?I want to be 5?8, and I?m hoping I can get there through stretching?right now I?m five foot two on a good day. I think she?s perfect just the way she is. I loved that such a small statured woman was such a good, larger than life soap opera villainess. it?s good to see my ?babysitter? living her best life.

Here are some photos from last night?s London premiere of Maniac, the Netflix series starring Emma Stone, Jonah Hill and Justin ?Edgy? Theroux. Cary Fukunaga is the executive producer of the series, and he directed many of the first season?s episodes. Fukunaga got a lot of attention a few years back for being hot and woke, and for being the reason why the first season of True Detective was so good. He also dated Michelle Williams for about a year or something? From what I can see, there were reports last year that Fukunaga was dating Margaret Qualley, but I have no idea if that?s still happening, or if he?s single now or what. What I do know is that he and Emma Stone would make a very cute couple.
Unfortunately, I still have questions about whether Emma and Edgy Justin have been secretly hooking up for months. That gossip has quieted down, but there?s nothing really to replace it. Justin isn?t officially dating anyone that we know of, and neither is Emma. I still halfway believe that they?re dealing with each other.
Fashion note: Emma?s ensemble here is Louis Vuitton. The pants are great. They are a perfect and versatile pair of black cigarette pants. The camisole-top is not the best though. It just looks sort of cheap, even though I?m sure it easily costs $1000. My favorite part of her whole look is the ponytail. I love a ponytail on the red carpet.
Emma also did a segment of Billy On the Street. It?s amazing how many people are just NICE when they come face to face with Emma Stone. They don?t get hysterical, they don?t freak out and they don?t insult her.

Rihanna?s Diamond Ball gets bigger every year, and a lot of her celebrity friends came out to support her this year. Chopard is one of the sponsors, which is why Rihanna wore some absolutely gigantic Chopard jewels. LOOK AT HER EARRINGS. My God. As for the dress? I dislike it, but I also accept that it?s perfectly ?Rihanna.? Only she would pick out a white lace catsuit with a weird satin mullet-esque dress overlay. The dress is by Alexis Mabille.

Update: Issa and Donald are almost definitely not a thing, as many of you pointed out that hes in a quiet relationship with the mother of his children. Issa and Donald are probably just friends who briefly posed together at the event. My bad.
Paris and Nicky Hilton were there. Yeah, I don?t know why either.

Here are some more photos of Keira Knightley in Toronto earlier this week, promoting her latest film Colette. Colette is the true story of Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette, the famous French writer of Gigi, among other works. It?s the story of her first marriage, to a celebrity author played by Dominic West. Keira was all over TIFF promoting the film, and then she went straight to New York to hustle some more. That?s why she appeared on Good Morning America?s new ?GMA Day? talk show with Michael Strahan. As it turns out, Michael Strahan is some kind of Keira Knightley super-fan. He told her that he used to get pumped up for football games by watching Love Actually. I don?t think she believed him, but he was truly devastated a little bit when she said that she?s only seen Love Actually ONCE.
She tells them that she only saw Love Actually when it first came out, which is something a lot of actors usually say that they don?t like watching themselves and they hate to sit through their own movies. But really, Keira isn?t even in it that much! I can?t believe she hasn?t EVER watched at least part of it in the fifteen Christmases since it was released!! LOVE ACTUALLY IS A NEW CLASSIC.
And here?s the trailer for Colette. This looks like an interesting film, although if I?m going to pinpoint the weakest part just from the trailer, I?d say that Dominic West seems rather uneven. Keira looks great though.
