I?m not here for any kind of rewrite or reimagining of Brandon Blackstock. I remember ALL of the stories and all of the legal wrangling. Blackstock passed away from cancer last week. He was married to Kelly Clarkson for years, and she filed for divorce from him in 2020. It took years to untangle all of his financial impropriety and mismanagement, and Blackstock really tried to squeeze as much money as possible out of Kelly in the divorce. For the past week, we?ve heard endless stories about how he was diagnosed with cancer after the divorce was finalized, and that Kelly was the one looking after him. Well, guess what? Blackstock likely started banging Kelly?s assistant in the last years of their marriage, and the assistant became his jumpoff and then his girlfriend/partner in his final years.
Brandon Blackstock was in a relationship with his ex-wife Kelly Clarksons former production assistant when he died on Aug. 7. Brittney Marie Jones ? who was identified in Blackstocks obituary as his partner in life and business ? worked as Clarksons production assistant in Nashville from 2016 to 2018, according to her LinkedIn.
In December 2018, she transitioned to an executive management assistant role for Blackstock ? but still assistant managed day to day artist schedule for Kelly Clarkson, according to her profile. Two years later, in June 2020, the same month Clarkson filed for divorce, Jones became an executive assistant for V Bar B Cattle Co., a Montana ranch owned by Blackstock.
A rep for Clarkson did not immediately respond to PEOPLEs request for comment.
The talent managers obituary describes Jones as his beautiful and loving partner in life and business. It also said that the pair started building a life, building companies, and working tirelessly to create Headwaters Livestock Auction and what will live on as his legacy, The Valley View Rodeo in Bozeman, Montana.?
On Friday, Aug. 8, Jones father Larry paid tribute to Blackstock in a Facebook post, writing, Yesterday we lost a good man Brandon Blackstock. He described Blackstock as my daughter?s soulmate, and said he considered him my son.

While no one is saying exactly when Blackstock?s relationship with Brittney Marie Jones began, I assume everyone can read between the lines. My only question is whether Kelly knew that her assistant was banging her husband before 2020? Because it sounds like that?s exactly what Jones was doing. Kelly was dealing with so much at that point, trying to figure out just how badly Blackstock had mismanaged her career and her money. Did she know about Jones as well? Well, in any case, I hope Jones was the one taking care of him in the end and not Kelly.

In recent weeks, there have been dozens of horrible stories about Prince Andrew, all coming out of Andrew Lownie?s book about the House of York. I?ve skipped many of the most lurid stories, partly because I find the whole thing disgusting and partly because most of the terrible stories are decades-old and they?ve already been reported on and discussed ad nauseum. If there?s one optimistic note for the Yorks, it?s that people have thought that Andrew is a buffoon and a nonce for years, so few people are newly scandalized by these stories. Still, we?re going through another round of ?poor Princess Beatrice and Eugenie? for some reason. Like, I don?t believe Bea and Eugenie should have to ?pay? for their parents? crimes, but they?re also grown women with families of their own, and it?s past time for B&E to distance themselves from their horrible father, not to mention the entire monarchy. Innocent victims: Friends of Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have described them as ?innocent victims? and ?collateral damage? after Lownie?s book came out. One contemporary of the sisters exclusively told The Royalist: ?All they have ever done is stand by their parents in the most horrifically public circumstances. I don?t think it?s fair to criticize them for that. They?re sweet girls who understand that they are immensely privileged, and have always been grateful for the privilege they?ve had, and have tried to use it to do the right thing. They were told to get jobs by the firm and they did that, so it seems unfair to attack them for making money.?
More from B&E?s contemporary: ?It would be totally inaccurate to say they are devastated or heartbroken by the book, or any of this c**p that is going around, because there are absolutely no new revelations in it at all. It?s just a massive rehash of a load of things that have already been said by different people, brought together in one place. Fergie & Andrew will not remarry: There have long been suspicions that Fergie and Andrew were happy enough with an open marriage, and that it was only the publication of those photographs that forced a divorce. These rumors have been fueled by the fact that the couple have continued to live together, apparently very happily, at Royal Lodge, Andrew?s home, ever since, appearing in many ways to be a married couple. I have been told they live in separate wings of the house. Rumors of remarriage have persisted, though friends regard them as tabloid fantasy, given they no longer have a romantic relationship and the attention it would attract.
York associates believe the whole thing will blow over: Speaking to several of Andrew and Sarah?s friends this week, I have been struck by how many of them think the controversy will quickly ?blow over.?

I kind of agree with the ?sources? that it will likely blow over. I?m not saying that?s what should happen or that we should breeze over the constant stream of depravity, arrogance and abuse from Andrew. I?m just saying that Andrew has always been lucky his mother spent decades covering for him, and just when Andrew?s years of degeneracy were coming back into the public sphere in a big way, the entire British media and British establishment decided that the bigger story was ?Meghan and Harry.? As for Sarah? she?s a survivor, she?ll find a way to survive in some form no matter what. A few weeks ago, Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz renewed their vows. Then, this week, they finally revealed some photos from the vow renewal, and it very much looks like they just threw another wedding. So, why do what amounts to a second wedding, three years after the first? My guess is that Nicola wanted a wedding free of Brooklyn?s family, especially David and Victoria Beckham, and that Brooklyn was totally fine with that. Brooklyn has reportedly gone no-contact with his family, and there?s been a months-long estrangement which has largely played out in the British tabloids, plus TMZ and People. While I have no idea if Brooklyn and Nicola are built to last, I don?t blame him for wanting some distance from the Beckham circus, especially given how ridiculous they?ve behaved towards Nicola. Team Beckham keeps proving why Brooklyn needed distance as well, given the increasingly hysterical briefings to British outlets. The Mail had a new exclusive which is just? insane. Some lowlights:
The vow renewal photos: Those who know the Beckhams say it is this picture that seals their triumph. They have well and truly taken over Nicola?s husband Brooklyn, now Brooklyn Peltz Beckham. The vow renewal ceremony to which the Beckhams were not invited has made his heartbreaking fall out with his family complete.
The vow renewal photos: To date Nicola, 30, has posted 48 photos on Instagram showing the happy couple and their friends enjoying the party. Of course, Brooklyn?s own family as absent. Victoria, 51, David,50, son Cruz, 20 and his girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 29, have been holidaying on board their 16m yacht off the coast of Italy. The shock at seeing the ?wedding? picture pop up on Instagram must have hit them like a tidal wave. Though many have speculated that the Beckhams will be furious at being left out, I can reveal that the overriding feeling in Team Beckham is more a mixture of sadness and concern. This latest show of indifference to their feelings from their eldest son has left David and Victoria ?deeply worried? for Brooklyn, who is now estranged not just from his family but from his maternal and paternal grandparents and extended family too.
Nicola & Brooklyn are being cruel! ?It?s inexcusably cruel and heartless, but this isn?t Brooklyn?s doing,? says one source. ?Why would they want to do this? It is just so hurtful,? says one friend. ?A point has now been reached where it?s actually no longer about a feud. The Sussex connection!! David, Victoria and their three other children found out about the vow renewal by reading it in American celebrity weekly People (coincidentally also Prince Harry and Meghan Markle?s preferred publication) ten days ago.
Orchestrated by Nicola: ?You can?t help but believe that this has all been orchestrated by Nicola and her mother,? another insider tells me. ?It?s Claudia recreating her own wedding to Nelson all of these years later only at least Nicola?s groom is young and attractive. But while Nicola and Claudia are busily using an occasion like this for their own gain or as a PR opportunity, they need to be mindful that at the centre of all of this is a pawn named Brooklyn and his family are very, very concerned for him. It?s like he has been brainwashed, been taken in and told that he can?t see his own family.?
Brooklyn the hostage: Some close to the Beckhams feel the event was contrived from start to finish by Nicola and Claudia, including Brooklyn being set up as the spokesman. Others can barely believe they are his own words. The Beckhams believe that Nicola has Brooklyn under her control. Some have even started to refer to David and Victoria?s eldest son as the ?hostage?.
The Beckhams hope Brooklyn comes back to them without Nicola: ?God only knows what Nicola will do with Brooklyn when the attention stops,? said a friend. ?All David, Victoria and in fact their entire family hope for is that Brooklyn comes back to them at some point. And if he does, he will be welcomed with open arms. They just all hope he knows how much he is loved.?

It?s fascinating to watch these people run the full Meghan Markle play on Nicola. Nicola is to blame for everything, Brooklyn is her hostage, it?s all Nicola?s fault, she?s manipulating Brooklyn, Brooklyn?s family knows that he?ll abandon his wife and come running back to them eventually! It?s so distasteful. I?m sure a lot of people will bring up Nicola?s Republican parents, and so be it Nicola?s billionaire father sucks. It is what it is. But I?m actually glad that Brooklyn and Nicola have some powerful allies in their corner. Because it absolutely looks like the Beckhams demanded that Brooklyn should leave Nicola, and they can?t handle that Brooklyn has chosen his wife.

One day after Netflix and Archewell released statements about their new contract, Netflix released the trailer for With Love, Meghan?s second season. The second season will be out on August 26, two weeks from now (on a Tuesday). The trailer is full of the same vibes as Season 1 fun California fashion, entertaining, Meghan learning new skills and hanging out with friends. You can see appearances by Tan France, Chrissy Teigen, Jose Andrs, Daniel Martin, Jay Shetty and more. It?s lovely to see Jose especially, because remember how Prince William thought he successfully colonized Jose and William?s obsessive stalking of the Sussexes? friends was supposed to be a ?humiliating blow? for? Harry and Meghan? Good times.
One of the big headlines is Meghan looking at Jose and asking, ?Do you know who doesn?t like lobster? My husband.? Jose replies, ?And you married him?? Personally, I?m not wild about Chrissy?s inclusion here, but I?ve had a hate-on for that woman for years, so maybe it?s just a me problem. Anyway, this looks really cute. I can?t wait for Netflix to greenlight a third, fourth and fifth season of WLM. And lots of holiday specials. We need special holiday-themed programs for Valentine?s Day and the Fourth of July and Easter!!
