One of the funniest/sleaziest dramas of the year had to be the Al Pacino/Noor Alfallah saga. In late May, we learned that 82-year-old Al Pacino was expecting a child with his 29-year-old ?girlfriend? Noor Alfallah. Pacino?s people called her a golddigger and suggested openly that she scammed her way into the pregnancy, while Noor?s people were like ?she?s not a golddigger, she just loves old people!? It?s true that Noor is seemingly always in the company of a much older man. In any case, the pregnancy story set off a two-week gossip bonanza and finally, Pacino tried to put a bow on it by talking publicly about how he was looking forward to being a father again. Al and Noor made a big show of being ?together? and she quietly welcomed a boy, Roman Pacino, in June. Now the ?relationship? with Al Pacino is over and Noor has gone to court to establish custody of Roman.
Al Pacinos girlfriend Noor Alfallah has filed for physical custody of their son, Roman, according to multiple reports. In legal docs obtained by The Blast, Alfallah, 29, requests that Pacino, 83, have ?reasonable visitation? of their 3-month-old baby.
Alfallah, a producer who graduated from the University of Southern California?s Cinematic School of Artagrees, also reportedly requested the Academy Award winner have joint legal custody, which would allow him to participate in major decisions concerning their baby, including medical treatment and education.
A specified amount for child support was not listed in the initial filing, according to The Blast, but per California law, the income of each parent is to be established first before ordering child support.
Alfallah is also reportedly asking the court for the House of Gucci star to pay for her legal fees and any costs associated with the case.
A Voluntary Declaration of Parentage (or Paternity) was signed by both parties, according to reports, six days before baby Roman was born. A VDOP is a ?government form two parents can sign to create a legal parent-child relationship between a child and parent? and is ?often signed at the hospital when a child is born, but it can be signed later,? according to California Courts. The document was signed by Pacino and a third-party witness.
On Wednesday, Pacino and Alfallah were spotted at dinner at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles with another couple, a source tells PEOPLE. The pair arrived together and enjoyed dinner next to each other, the source added.

If you ask me, this is the least scandalous part of the saga? It actually sounds like Al and Noor are on the same page about his involvement and financial responsibilities and that they?re doing everything through the court so it will be above-board and established. Like, we knew that Al and Noor weren?t made to last as a couple, but they can be in each other?s lives for the same of the baby and? whatever. She?ll get some child support and there you go.

These are photos of Al Pacino at the Venice film festival. He’s flanked by his girlfriend, Argentinian actress Camila Sola, for The Humbling premiere. He’s 74, and she’s 34. They’ve been dating since about 2009. So five years. I can’t even imagine dating a guy 40 years older. I guess they’re making it work. Ladies do love Pacino. He’s nowhere near the dreamboat he used to be, but the man still attracts his fair share of attention. Page Six says women have been falling all over him in Venice. Here’s some photo evidence of Pacino’s very female fanbase at the festival.
Pacino has two films debuting in Venice. Both of them are roles where he gets to break out the tears. The Humbling features him as a suicidal theater actor (the The Wrap says he achieves “late-career greatness” in the role). In Manglehorn, Al stars as a man trying to cope with losing his great love. Pacino answered questions about how he was able to vividly portray depression:
He approaches the topic lightheartedly: “Fortunately, I may be depressed, but I don’t know about it. I don?t see how I could not be depressed, some of the time, but I don?t know about it. How does it go? You say I?m depressed? Life is sort of like all over us. Things make you sad. Basically you’d like to be a little happier sometimes. But ‘depressed’ seems so ominous. It?s really in all of us. We all relate to it. I probably have been, and I?m glad that I don’t know about it, but now that you mention it maybe I?ll give it some thought and be depressed.”
Seriously, though: “People go into depressions and it’s very sad and it’s terrifying. I’ve had bouts with that, that comes close to that, but nothing that deep. I feel spared and I’m lucky. What you look for are the similarities in character that are similar to you. I understand depression and that’s part of what we do, is to go out and understand the character.”
What makes him happy: “I have three children. That’s been a real source of enlightenment for me, plus the friends I?ve had, the people I?ve met over the years, the relationships I?ve had. All of it has contributed to an amazing, shocking journey I?ve had so far. I feel as though I’m doing OK.”

Pacino knows he’s lucky to have never experienced major depression. He’s an incredibly talented actor, and it sounds like these new roles will put some of the old Pacino magic back on the screen. I long for the days before Pacino used to make brunch out of curtains and scream every bit of dialogue. Don’t even talk to me about Jack & Jill.
Pacino’s discussed depression before in 2013 with The Express. (I keep tabs because The Godfather is still my favorite movie, okay?) He said, “I was not prepared for fame. It hit me hard and I did not have the capacity to cope. I’ve never liked the recognition, the questions, the publicity. I have often felt like running away and hiding. There has been a lot of self-doubt and unwelcome events in my life.” He then went on to describe his “downward spiral” of alcoholism. Pacino had a deep well to draw from for these two Venice films even though he escaped long-term depression.

Many of you have mentioned the double standard when it comes to extreme age differences in celebrity couples. (Where, let’s face it, the older person is the famous/incredibly wealthy party.) Like it’s seen as somewhat acceptable for an older dude to date a much younger woman, but when a female celebrity does the same thing and gets herself a boy toy (see: Madonna, Ellen Barkin) we call them “Cougars” and make a bigger deal out of it. Personally I just think we do that because it’s rarer to see, and we hold women to a higher standard than men. We put ourselves in their shoes and think “no way could I have much in common with a guy 20 years younger, but the sex must be great.” I used Ellen and Madonna as examples, as they both are/were in long term relationships with men 30 years their junior. (I think Ellen and her man have since broken up and who knows about Madonna and Brahim.)
Thirty years is a huge age difference of course, but what about forty? Al Pacino, 72, has been dating a 33 year-old woman, an Argentinian actress named Lucila Sol, for around three years that we know of. I found photos of them together for the first time on a red carpet back in April, 2010. I follow gossip slavishly and while I’ll admit to not paying much attention to Al Pacino this is the first time I’ve heard of this! Consider Ellen Barkin, 58, who earned tabloid headlines about her mid-20s boyfriend a couple of years ago. All this time Al Pacino has been dating someone who could be his granddaughter and I didn’t realize until The Daily Mail pointed it out. They made the age difference their headline but they don’t make a big deal out of it, they were practically patting Pacino on the back. These two were at the premiere of “Phil Spector,” the HBO movie based on the true story of the eccentric music producer/murderer, in which Pacino stars. As The Mail mentions, Helen Mirren co-stars, but she wasn’t at the premiere with her sassy hair. Boo! She was probably in London due to the play she’s starring in.
Al Pacino is certainly in remarkable shape for a man of 72.
And one of the reasons why was apparent when he showed off his much younger girlfriend Lucila Sola at the premiere of Phil Spector in New York on Wednesday.
The dapper Godfather star looked jubilant as he joked with the beauty, who is 40 years younger than him, on the red carpet.
The pair were the stars of the night at the debut showing of the controversial new HBO film.
However his 33-year-old lover was not the only beautiful woman who turned up for the exciting event.
Girls star Allison Williams, 25, also looked in fine figure in a lace detailed black dress, while The Good Wife favourite Christine Baranski, 60, daringly twinned a leopard print dress with a dark coloured cardigan
One big name who was conspicuous by her absence was Helen Mirren, who is the leading actress in the movie.

Pacino is 5 years older than my dad and his girlfriend is around that many years younger than me (I’m not giving specifics!) so yes I think this is a huge age difference. At least she’s not mid 20s but still. If this were the age different between a female celebrity and her boyfriend you could bet we would be hearing about it.
We don’t have photos from that specific event, (you can see them at the Daily Mail) but here are photos of Al and Sofia at the Goldene Kamera awards in Berlin last month. In the other red carpet photos they’re shown in September, 2011 and August, 2010. See – they’ve been together a long time! No biggie to the gossip press, or maybe I just don’t pay enough attention. (I read three gossip magazines every week!)

According to Variety, Al Pacino is in talks to play Dr. Jack Kevorkian in the upcoming HBO telepic You Don’t Know Jack.The film will be directed by Barry Levinson (Wag the Dog, What Just Happened) and written by Adam Mazer (Breach). Based on an authorized biography of the famed “suicide doctor” by his assistant Neal Nicol and his lifelong friend Harry Wylie, the movie will be about Kevorkian’s creation of the “Mercy Machine” and his role in helping his patients commit suicide.
