Mariah Carey and Mr. Mariah Carey finally revealed the names for their twins who were born on Saturday. They named their son Moroccan Scott Cannon, nickname “Roc”. Scott is Nick Cannon’s middle anme and his grandmother’s maiden name.
The Moroccan comes from Mariah’s NYC apartment called the Moroccan Room and is also the place where Nick proposed.
Their daughter’s name is just Monroe Cannon. Monroe after Marilyn Monroe who “inspired” Mariah her whole life.
The daughter’s name is not that bad. But who the hell names their kid with an adjective? Also, who’s Scott Cannon and why is her kid the Moroccan version of him. Is it because he’s dark? This is terrible. He’s not even the original Scott Cannon. He has to be the Moroccan version of him. They made their baby a 2nd class citizen.

Hope you got your fill of pictures of Mariah Carey’s distended uterus, because she finally gave birth to her twins this weekend, on the same day of her third wedding anniversary to husband Nick Cannon. People Magazine says:
Carey, 42, delivered the babies Saturday at 12:07 p.m. ET at an undisclosed hospital in Los Angeles. Carey’s representative [said that] the baby girl was born first, weighing 5 lbs. 3 oz., and was 18 inches long; her brother was next, at 5 lbs. 6 oz., and was 19 inches.
[The rep also said] she and Nick were listening to Carey’s “We Belong Together” after the children were born.
Asked if the birth was planned to coincide with her anniversary, she said: “No, not even Mariah could plan that!”
I just feel sorry for the poor doctor that had to tell her that “on a rainbow with unicorns and glitter” was not a viable birth plan and that butterflies wouldn’t be performing the actual delivery. What with the issue of weight ratios and maintaining air-speed velocity and the fact that insects tend to get stuck in the afterbirth.

Mariah Carey, 42, popped out her twins at around 12 PM EST at a hospital in LA on Saturday. The baby girl came first and her brother followed which shows just how bossy women in that family are.
Mariah’s rep tells PEOPLE that they’re both overjoyed and were listening to “We Belong Together” after the kids were born.
Making the day even more special, the birth coincided with their anniversary as the very prescient Nick predicted. With the help of Rev. Al Sharpton, they renewed their vows in the hospital on Sunday. Speaking about the labor, her rep added.
“Nick was very nervous and Mariah was completely calm. Mariah thought it was another soft labor and Nick was driving her to the hospital and she very calm and the music was blasting,” she added. “When they walked into the hospital, [Nick] was going the wrong way and the nurse redirected them to go the maternity ward, and I said to her, ‘that’s right out of I Love Lucy,’ and she laughed.”
What an obnoxiously cute story. Why can’t they simply say Nick was being a dumbass and didn’t know what the hell he was doing? I mean, look at him. He’s a bumbling idiot. The only things Mariah trusts him to do is hold her umbrella, hold her straw and, apparently, put his penis inside her.

Mariah Carey gave birth to twins on Saturday morning, which also happened to be her third wedding anniversary. The boy and girl were born at around 9 a.m. Los Angeles time and weighed just over five pounds each, according to Carey’s spokesperson.
The singer, 41, and husband Nick Cannon, 30, were married on April 30, 2008, and spokesperson Cindi Berger said in a statement, “babies were born on their wedding anniversary … not even Mariah could plan that!” Berger said the girl was born first and then the boy, but that their names have not yet been revealed.
Singer/actor Cannon was ecstatic about the birth, tweeting, “My wife just gave me the most incredible anniversary gift ever in life! I won’t ever be able to top this!” He later added, “I’m in the happiest place I’ve ever been in my life. I never had more amazing things happening. I am humbled by God’s favor.”

Simon Cowell said on a radio interview that Mariah Carey will have some type of role in the US version of X Factor. Cowell told Jackie Brown, “I met her recently and she was on great form. And her idea was to be the judge of the judges, which only Mariah could come up with.” That last part should actually be changed to “which only an egotistical maniac could come up with.”
What does that even mean “judge of judges?” Does that mean she gets the final say? To right a perceived wrong by having Nick Cannon wave her hand around like a wand while she sits on a pedestal like Jabba the Hut grumbling something while stuffing her face with cookies? Because I would love to see that.

Last week, we got to see Mariah Carey?s epic, naked pregnancy photo on the cover of Life & Style. Many criticized Mariah for giving (selling?) the photos of L&S, one of the most budget tabloids, but considering she also gave L&S the exclusive on the babies? genders, I think Mariah probably has an existing relationship with someone at the mag or something. Anyway, this week?s gem comes via the British OK! Magazine - even more naked pregnant photos, this time with Nick feeling up his lady. Oh, Mariah. I LOVE YOU.
There are a few excerpts from the OK! Mag piece, and of course it?s all Mariah:
Mariah says: ?You can tell the personalities a bit. In viewing our ultrasounds, our boy is all ready like Nick, like, ?Here I am, take my picture or don?t, and our girl is coyly facing the other way, like, ?No pictures,? waiting for a proper debut. I took some ultrasound footage of them in the womb that I think they?ll definitely find interesting later in life.?

Eight months pregnant Mariah Carey decided to show off her baby bump in a naked photo shoot for Life & Style magazine. And in case that wasn’t enough nekkidness for you, she and her husband also posed together in the nude for a series of photographs that will hang about the family home. I hope she’s already budgeted for a therapist. The Daily Mail says:
Nick Cannon has revealed he recently stripped down for a naked photo shoot with his heavily pregnant wife Mariah Carey.
He confessed that he is already regretting the artistic photos which are set to be displayed on the walls of their family home.
‘My children are going to have to see these pictures. It’s a little weird,’ he remarked during his Rollin’ with Nick Cannon radio show.
‘It’s a little nasty. I mean, have you ever seen your parents naked? When they get older and their friends come over… they will see the pictures and say, “Your daddy’s butt naked.”‘
It could be worse. They could actually see your dad butt naked in the flesh. Good luck getting anybody to come over to the house then. Trust me, all your friends will be too busy telling the guidance counselor and branding your house “the pervert factory” to have a sleepover after that.

The Grammy winning singer happily exposed her full-blown baby bump on the cover shot - with the installment hitting newsstands on April 8th.
In the accompanying interview, Miss Carey dished of deciding to shed her top for the issue, ?I was feeling very vulnerable about taking pictures at all right now, but then I didn?t want to miss this opportunity to document this once-in-a-lifetime experience. My ultimate goal was to share this incredibly personal moment with my true fans.?
The 42-year-old continued, ?The babies were kicking almost the entire time; it was unbelievable. Especially the girl ? clearly she?s a diva in training! We didn?t start shooting until 1:30 a.m. because I was in the hospital from the night before until the day of the shoot with contractions five minutes apart!?

A few months ago, she also confirmed to L&S the sex of the babies - one boy and one girl. Now, these are not the first photos of Mariah?s massive bump that we?ve seen - she also tweeted a photo of her bump with a butterfly painted on it. Obviously, because ?Butterfly? is going to end up in at least one of these baby names, right? Raspberry Butterfly Cannon Blueberry Butterfly Cannon. Anyhoodle, in this interview, Mariah makes it clear that while she has issues with everybody all up in her womb, she also feels like she owes it to her fans to enjoy every second of her pregnancy. Indeed, although Mariah?s not due for a few weeks, the twins could be making their grand entrance sooner rather than later. Contractions sent mom to the hospital on March 27. But for now, Mariah and soon-to-be-dad Nick Cannon are simply reveling in their twin bliss! And Nick says he is more attracted to his wife than ever.
?I thought I couldn?t love Mariah more,? he tells Life & Style. ?But I have a whole new appreciation and admiration for her.?
Mariah adds, ?Now I have so much respect for mothers everywhere, especially those who?ve had difficult pregnancies or given birth to multiples. We need to have Mother?s Day once a week!?
