Showing some love for her Japanese fans, Ariana Grande jetted into the Haneda Airport in Tokyo on Thursday morning (August 13).
Always a friendly female, the ?Problem? songstress looked bright-eyed and bushy-tailed as she strolled through the terminal and flashed a peace sign with her hair up in two buns.
Earlier this month, Ariana announced her brand new scent, simply called Ari by Ariana Grande. She told press, ?It just adds a wink that makes me smile every time I use the fragrance. I have always been obsessed with perfume. I always carried like 6 different scents in my bag, another 3 in my suitcase and another couple in my car.?

Enjoying their time in the lovely nation of France, Zac Efron and Emily Ratajkowski showed up at Kinepolis Cinemas in Lille on Wednesday (August 12).
The ?Gone Girl? babe and her ?Hairspray? hunk were in the house to plug their new movie ?We Are Your Friends,? slated to hit theaters on August 28th.
During the red carpet portion of the evening, Zac told press that he actually had to drop some weight to play his deejay role- ?That was kinda fun. Everything seems to be bulking up, you have to bulk up for a part, you know? It was fun to go backwards and play a DJ and more skinny, svelte guy.?

Miranda and Evan first stepped out together last month, and it sounds like things are going well so far. Evan made his money by founding the Snapchat company when he was still a college student at Stanford.

| Natalie Dormer on sexism or ageism: 'If you work hard, everyone will notice' | Added 9 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Natalie Dormer is promoting her new television show, an 18th century period drama called The Scandalous Lady W, which she hopes will show the value of the feminist movement. The show is a fictionalized portrayal of the life of Lady Seymour Worsley, who leaves her husband for his BFF, Captain George Bisset. The show illustrates how women were considered their husband’s property. Should be a good watch.
Nat is currently under fire, however, for an interview with the Radio Times. She takes a little swipe at Maggie Gyllenhaal for complaining about ageism and sexism throughout her career. Natalie also says men are just as objectified as women, and Hollywood is about looks anyway, so why complain? Nat says you can overcome sexism by simply working hard. She also covers the notion that Game of Thrones contains too much sex and violence:
On objectification in show biz: “My personal experience has been to work on phenomenal jobs in which the men are objectified as much as the women. Actors suffer from it, too. It’s a visual medium, so to a certain extent you get judged on the way you look. We’re not just talking about being slim here. We’re talking about character actors with big eyes getting typecast in the ‘friend’ role. It’s not just about bed-ability: it’s about your physicality more generally. I believe that perseverance will out, that if you’re good and you work hard, everyone will notice.”
On GOT sex: “I think sex and romance is a huge part of human motivation. So long as it’s informing the story then I don?t see what the problem is. Obviously no one likes gratuitous sex or gratuitous misogyny, the same way people shouldn’t like gratuitous violence.”
On GOT violence: “I don’t find it gratuitous. It’s naturalistically shot. It’s not hyper-stylised. You can watch a film like Superman with a 15 rating, and characters will be mown down by guns, yet you won’t see any blood. That’s when I get angry about violence: when its consequences aren’t portrayed.”
On ageism: “I haven’t got that problem yet! But if you mean there’s a double standard, of course there is. Maggie Gyllenhaal has a great career. She might be bitching about it, but she’s navigating it.”
[From Radio Times]
I’m not a huge television watcher (just catch a few favorites, or I stream stuff on Netflix years later) and don’t regularly catch Game of Thrones. So I don’t have a dog in this fight. But it’s very informing that people complain so bitterly about GOT‘s constant violence against women, yet they keep on watching the show. This is an internet-wide phenomenon, and every time GOT airs, people swear they’re gonna stop watching. Then they’re live tweeting the next episode, so it must be that addictive.
As far as Nat’s comments on how “hard work” will overcome sexism, she’s missed the ball on that point. Does she really believe this, or is she simply stirring the pot?
