Getting in some last-minute retail therapy, Mariah Carey was seen getting into her waiting SUV after shopping in Aspen, CO on Christmas eve (December 24).
The Grammy Award-winning songstress looked casually gorgeous in a sheer black top, dark green jacket, and a pair of ear muffs as she gave the shutterbugs a quick wave and smile before heading off.
Although Mariah is busy stocking up on presents for all of her loved ones, she hasn?t forgot about her fans either.
On Monday, Miss Carey tweeted out a photo of Santa hats with the word "lamb" embroidered on them and captioned, ?I got these festive Santa hats made & will give them away 2 lambs on twitter &facebook. Thank U 4 everything! L4L!! MC.?

Trying to get in as much retail therapy as humanly possible, Mariah Carey showed up at the shops in Aspen, Colorado yesterday (December 23).
Sporting a black jacket with a black top, skinny jeans, and shag boots, the ?All I Want For Christmas Is You? songstress smiled for the shutterbugs while her bodyguard kept a watchful eye.
Carey recently chatted about her forthcoming 14th album that?s slated to hit stores and online retailers in March 2013.
She explained, "I'm collaborating with a lot of my favorite people but the main thing is [that] I'm not trying to follow any particular trend, I want it to be well received. I want to stay true to myself and the music that I love and make the fans happy.?

Conquering some of her last minute holiday shopping, Mariah Carey went out for a little late-night retail therapy in Aspen, Colorado on Saturday (December 22).
The Grammy Award-winning songstress stood out in the crowd in a black-and-white plaid dress, curly locks, and a black cardigan as she stopped to pose for the shutterbugs before heading off.
While trekking around the chilly city, Mariah and her entourage made trips to both the Louis Vuitton store and Ralph Lauren.
Upon arriving in Aspen earlier this week, Miss Carey tweeted a picture of the snowy conditions, with a caption reading, "So beautiful! Christmas begins for me today. God Bless!!!!"

Making the most of her holiday vacation, Mariah Carey showed up at her mother?s jewelry store in Aspen, Colorado yesterday afternoon (December 20).
The ?All I Want For Christmas is You? songstress was more than happy to throw down a few poses for the shutterbugs as she made her exit, sporting a pair of stylish sunglasses and a new pair of earrings from her mom.
Mariah has been spending her Christmases in Aspen for years, as she loves the snowy weather and gorgeous scenery offered by the mountain town.
Earlier this week, Carey posted a series of adorable photos of herself, husband Nick Cannon, and their kids Monroe and Moroccan to her Instagram account.

Heading in for a busy day on the set of "American Idol," Mariah Carey and Keith Urban were spotted in Los Angeles on Thursday (December 13).
The "All I Want for Christmas is You" crooner was in full glam mode in a short and shiny gold dress and strappy heels while her country singer co-judge sported a white T-shirt, brown leather jacket, and black jeans as he accepted a gift of some pricey booze.
Though things got a little heated during auditions in Charlotte, North Carolina, it seems that the feud between Mariah and judge Nicki Minaj may have cooled.
The "Starships" rapper recently told reporters, "We've jelled really, really well as a group. We have a great chemistry. We have a great rhythm now together, and we really are taking it serious. ... We really are rooting for the contestants and we want to find a great American Idol."
Meanwhile, peacemaker Keith Urban added, "I'm just trying to bring the drama down so that we can stay on point."

Arriving for a busy day of filming, Mariah Carey headed to the set of "American Idol" in Los Angeles on Wednesday (December 12).
The "Fantasy" singer looked stunning a strapless red gown and black heels as she got her makeup touched up before even entering the studio.
Recently, the star's 1994 smash hit "All I Want for Christmas is You" made a big comeback. According to Nielsen, it is the most streamed holiday song this year.
In addition to streaming, the song has re-entered the Billboard Hot 100 at number 29. This year, the list rules changed, allowing songs from any era to be eligible for the chart. After its release 18 years ago, "All I Want for Christmas" is reemerging as a holiday classic.

After a week of workplace drama on the set of "American Idol," Mariah Carey sought to unwind with a day of fun at the Santa Monica pier in Los Angeles.
The Family Day event, hosted by husband Nick Cannon, meant throngs of fans seeking attention from the famous couple. The "American Idol" judge wore a short red dress and wedge heels as she stood out among the crowds of non-celebs.
Her hubby, however, opted for a more appropriate outfit for the day, sporting a white t-shirt, blue cargo shorts, and tennis shoes. Also enjoying the day were the happy pair's 18-month-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe.
Despite the security team and huge crowds, Mariah and Nick took time to hop on a rollercoaster, pick up some cotton candy, and watch their kids marvel at balloons.
The trip was likely a welcome stress-reliever for the 42-year-old diva. As previously reported by GossipCenter, she and co-judge Nicki Minaj were caught on tape mid-argument and Ms. Carey claims that the "Starships" rapper even threatened to shoot her.

Yesterday we saw a caught-on-tape feud between new American Idol judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey while they were scouting talent in North Carolina. Nicki really lit into Mariah, saying “I?m not f**kin? putting up with her f**king highness over there… I?m not gonna sit here every f**king minute to have you come down and harass me every minute everyday.” It sounded like Nicki was defending herself against something that Mariah said. TMZ had a bunch of follow-up stories for their exclusive, claiming that Mariah called Nicki a “bitch” several times, and that Mariah also bragged about herself and her accomplishments so much that it set Nicki off. I believe it, as Mariah is so full of herself. I remember Mariah’s insane HSN appearance, all she did was talk about herself.
In other stories about this mess, we heard that Nicki allegedly threatened Mariah’s life by saying “If I had a gun I would shoot her.” Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe denies that ever happened, but admitted he asked Nicki personally if she said it, which she denied. Of course she did. It was allegedly more peaceful yesterday on the Idol set, with Mariah and Nicki getting along – for now.
As for the suspicions that this whole thing was staged for publicity, TMZ is sticking with their story that it wasn’t, but adds that Nicki feels that producers are trying to get her riled up, and are encouraging Mariah’s bad behavior. Mariah’s husband, Nick Cannon, sort-of confirms that producers are in on it. He was interviewed by Access Hollywood and he placed the blame on their shoulders. “I’m kind of disappointed in Fox and everything, because they’re taking away from the quality of Idol.
My wife is the strongest and the classiest woman I’ve ever met. You watch the video and she maintains her composure… I don’t think she’s moved by the theatrics and the pageantry of it all. She signed up for a job to help young people with their dreams.
This is like a sidebar. I hope that’s not what this show becomes about – the catfights.
Honestly I believe the show is solely about a singing competition, that’s why America loves these shows… to make it about something that it is not, kind of shows that the producers and the network are losing their foot[ing].

Around 4:30 into the video (link here) they do a reenactment of the Nicki Mariah fight, with each of them reading lines, and it’s funny as hell. Nick concluded afterwards that “anyone can see that my wife is strong, classy and she maintains her strength.”
You can just shoot me now because I was really impressed with Nick Cannon. He loves the hell out of Mariah and he will go to bat for his self-absorbed wife any day of the week. I’m buying this side of the story, that producers are loving this feud and encouraging it even if they didn’t directly stage it. This is a hell of a lot of buzz for this show, and people will watch it just to see these divas give each other the side eye. A big fight like this may be inconvenient, but they’re surely loving the press.

Always the ultimate diva, Mariah Carey looked the total pop queen when she touched down in Los Angeles on Thursday (September 6).
The 42-year-old songstress smiled her way through LAX Airport dressed in a black floor-length dress, complete with massive heels and huge sunglasses.
Mariah flew in from New York one day after kicking off the NFL season with a glittering performance at the Rockefeller Center in the city on Wednesday night.
She wowed the crowds at that event as she belted out her new single "Triumphant (Get 'Em)," alongside ?The Voice? coach Cee Lo Green.

Mariah Carey was none too happy when she discovered that rapper Nicki Minaj would be joining her at the judges’ table on this season’s American Idol, reportedly hanging up on producers and storming out of the studio in a hail of Peruvian Swordtail butterflies and Hello Kitty accessories. TMZ says:
We’re told [Mariah] hung up the phone when she was told Nicki was the top candidate.
Sources [said] Mariah was led to believe she would be the only woman on the judge’s panel. Choosing Nicki would not only crush that expectation, it would add insult to injury because Nicki (29) is a lot younger than Mariah (42).
Some of the honchos believe it’s a mistake to have 2 women and a man on the panel, and a 4th male judge would be necessary.
They’re [also] worried if the judge’s end up being Mariah, Nicki and Randy, middle America might not welcome the blackout.
Yep, can’t have too many women or blacks sitting behind the table, or you risk alienating the valuable late nineteenth-century plantation owner demographic. “And once you let in the women and the coloreds, the Jews and the homosexuals aren’t far behind,” Representative Todd Akin was later quoted as saying.
Forte Forte’s cotton strapless dress has the same crotchet top and full pleated maxi skirt as Mariah’s, but it’s “tobacco” instead of “poo brown.”
