Mariah is gifting all of us with bikini shots and pose-harding for Christmas, which is just what the baby Jesus would want, I think. Mariah was in Aspen with her family ? and I guess she still is? Maybe. But she appeared on Watch What Happens Live last night and? wow. Mariah was in rare form. Just weeks after RadarOnline.com broke the news that Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon are leading separate lives, the singing diva has admitted that their busy work schedules have kept them apart. In fact, Carey told Andy Cohen on Sunday night?s Watch What Happens Live that while undergoing her troubled pregnancy with their twins Moroccan and Monroe, now 2, Cannon was rarely around.
Responding to a fan?s question, Carey, 43, ruled out having more children with Cannon.
She explained, ?I had preeclampsia; I had gestational diabetes, a really difficult pregnancy and I was alone most of the time.?
Seeming to realize how that sounded, Carey quickly added, raising her voice, ?We love Nick, but he?s working! He?s the hardest working man in show business. Hi, Nick!? she said, smiling and waving at the camera and blowing her husband a kiss.
Earlier, Carey had told the fan who called in to Cohen?s Bravo show, ?Nick and I have a boy and a girl, I couldn?t ask for better.?
She joked of the America?s Got Talent host, ?If Nick could have the babies himself, then maybe. Then, bring ?em on. We love kids!?
?I?m responsible for these children ?til forever so I look at it like, they didn?t ask for this lifestyle, here they are and it is so different than just being able to just be like, ?OK, bye, well, I?m going here now, I just did a show, I?m leaving.??
Carey said, ?To anyone who?s ever carried twins, it?s a totally different experience to carry twins in your body; you don?t even know who you are.?
Later, when asked her Christmas plans, the ?All I Want for Christmas Is You? singer strangely didn?t mention Cannon, saying, ?I?m going to have the best time possible in a snowy layer ensconced in Aspen with the babies. We?re going to have as much fun as possible ? I have to have snow.?
Also during the Sunday night interview, Carey continued to complain about her experience judging American Idol this season (she famously feuded with fellow judge Nicki Minaj and neither one is coming back). In November, she had likened the experience on the hit FOX show to ?being in hell.? And Sunday night, when Cohen asked if she?d ever judge another TV show, Carey replied, ?No? You know what I really should have been doing on that show is doing the mentoring,? she declared. ?I?m a producer, a writer, people don?t realize that.?
The diva, clad in black gloves, said, ?Let me quote my resume,? but added, ?I have fourteen number ones as a producer, which is more than anybody. People don?t know that, because women, we?re either supposed to be a diva or you?re behind a piano, you?re allowed to be a songwriter.?
Carey said friends encouraged her to do Idol so fans could see her personality and she decided it would be cool working with pal Randy Jackson.
?It?ll be a three-person panel, the typical thing,? she recalled thinking. ?And then, they tie me up with this ? it was so typical show biz ?twirl the mustache? moment. I?m not blaming anybody. This is a disclaimer ? this is not about anyone in particular except I wouldn?t have done the show had I known that they were doing a total experiment village moment and I get to be the person who?s out in front. And it wasn?t my bag.?
Carey also good naturedly talked to Cohen about her 2001 movie bomb, Glitter ? ?It was called the G word. We couldn?t bring it up? ? and an old alleged boyfriend, Eminem. When asked to say something nice about Eminem during one of Cohen?s games, Carey joked, ?They come in a package that you can carry wherever you go.?
Carey told Cohen that she?s still working on her next album. She said injuring her arm this year pushed the album back ?and then I said, I?m really not ready with this. I need the arc of the album ? I really need people to understand what I?ve been through and if this were to be my last album, people would hear everything that they needed to hear. We?re going to get there.?

Bless her heart. I feel like Kanye West is taking tips from Mariah, because? good God, they are really similar. Everything is all about them and they?re not sure what to talk about if they?re not talking about how great they are. Kanye?s egotistical rants come across as bravado (and insanity) and Mariah?s speeches come across as ?The Diva Suffers For Your Sins.? But we wouldn?t have it any other way.
? I am wondering about Mariah and Nick, by the way. I?m not saying their marriage is in trouble, but maybe they?re just going to through a rough patch right now.

Feeling a little naughty this Christmas, Mariah Carey posted a festive and steamy photo to Instagram on Sunday (December 22).
The "All I Want for Christmas Is You" singer wore an open silky red robe and a matching bikini underneath with some matching fuzzy heels as she posed in front of a lit Christmas tree.
Giving fans a peek before an intimate moment with hubby Nick Cannon, the former "American Idol" judge wrote, "Warming up for the hottub moments!"
Earlier, Mariah wrote, "It's just a tradition #aspen #coldyethot" along with a pic of herself in her red bikini walking her dog in the snow.

Much like Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce and Hilary Swank, Mariah Carey has become entangled in an international controversy after Mariah was paid to perform for a despot. Human Rights Watch ? who have become really good at getting people to write about celebrities and their associations to tyrants, dictators, despots and crooks ? issued yet another slam against Mariah this week. This isn?t even the first time Mariah has caught the eye of Human Right Watch ? they slammed her back in 2008 when she was paid to perform for the Khadafy family (which was what Beyonce did several years ago too). This time around, Mariah got $1 million to perform for Angolan despot Jos Eduardo dos Santos:
All she wants for Christmas is more cash from a dictator. Curvy diva Mariah Carey performed a two-hour concert for Angola despot Jos Eduardo dos Santos on Sunday for more than $1 million ? after apologizing in 2008 for performing for Moammar Khadafy?s family, according to the Human Rights Foundation.
?Mariah Carey can?t seem to get enough dictator cash,? said Human Rights Foundation president Thor Halvorssen in a statement. ?Just five years ago she performed for the family of Libyan dictator Moammar Khadafy. Now, she goes from private performances to public displays of support and credibility for one of Africa?s chief human rights violators and most corrupt tyrants.?
Carey?s show was sponsored by Unitel, a mobile-phone company owned by dos Santos? daughter, Isabel. She is also the head of the Angolan Red Cross, which the gala benefited.
?It is the sad spectacle of an international artist purchased by a ruthless police state to entertain and whitewash the father-daughter kleptocracy that has amassed billions in ill-gotten wealth while the majority of Angola lives on less than $2 a day,? said Halvorssen.
Carey posed for a picture with the African dictator, his daughter and his wife. ?I am happy to be here in this room and I am honored to share this show with the President of Angola,? Carey said at the gala, according to the Human Rights Foundation, a nonprofit that focuses on protecting and promoting human rights globally.
The Dos Santos are the only billionaires in Angola and have reigned since 1979. Dos Santos has ordered the execution of many politicians, journalists and activists who defy his rule. His family has allegedly ?exploited oil and diamond wealth to build total control over all branches of the government, the military, and the courts,? according to the HRC.
When Carey was shamed along with Beyonce for performing for Khadafy?s family she released a statement promising to be more careful about whom she belts it for.
?I was naive and unaware of who I was booked to perform for,? she said at the time. ?I feel horrible and embarrassed to have participated in this mess. Ultimately we as artists are to be held accountable. Going forward, this is a lesson for all artists to learn from. We need to be more aware and take more responsibility regardless of who books our shows.?
Carey?s spokesperson has not responded yet to a request for comment.

If this was Mariah?s first time, I?d say that she should just take the knock, donate the money and get her manager to do more research before agreeing to these gigs. But this is the second time that HRW has publicly called her out. It?s a problem. A Jennifer Lopez-sized problem. And don?t even start with ?it was for a charity gala? ? Mariah was GETTING PAID! She got paid $1 million! When Beyonce was called out for performing for Hannibal Khadafy, she later admitted that she took the $1 million she got for the performance and donated it to The Clinton Foundation. Every year, Mariah Carey tapes the Christmas Tree Lighting at Rockefeller Center and every year she wears pretty much the same dress. This year was no different. She’s like the Dick Clark of Christmas tree lighting ceremonies.
However, I am surprised Carey didn’t have those kids in front of her on a short leash. I mean an actual short leash. That way if they messed up even a little, she could just jerk the leash back and cut off their oxygen for a split second letting them know she’s not to be f*cked with.

Mariah Carey was on American Idol for one season last year, for which she was reportedly paid $18 million dollars. If someone would pay me just six figures to do that job, I would think I hit the jackpot. But for Mariah, getting paid eight figures to sit on her ass and judge singers was the most horrible, awful thing ever. In a new interview with NY radio station Hot 97, Mariah said she “hated” Idol, and said “it was like going to work every day in hell with Satan.” Obviously she was talking about Nicki Minaj, with whom she had a longstanding feud, but she didn’t deign to speak Nicki’s name. Mariah Carey could not be happier to put American Idol behind her. The “Art of Letting Go” singer — who served one season as a judge on the Fox musical competition, alongside Nicki Minaj, Randy Jackson, and Keith Urban — had some choice words about the show during an interview with Hot 97?s Angie Martinez on Tuesday, Nov. 12.
“Honestly, I hated it,” she confessed. “Here’s what it was. I was the first person who signed on…I thought it was going to be a three-person panel. They gave me a nice…monetary moment, and I was just like, ‘Okay, Randy Jackson will be there; I’ve known him forever. He used to play bass for me. Like, this isn’t a big deal. This will be nothing.’”
“But it wasn’t that,” she continued. “It was like going to work every day in hell with Satan.”
Carey didn’t specify which of her fellow judges might be the devil, but it’s no secret that she clashed with Minaj throughout the season. The two got into several very heated debates during the audition process and occasionally took their feud online. In May, the “Roman Holiday” rapper bashed the Grammy-winning singer as “insecure” and “bitter” on Twitter.
There was one bright spot in Carey’s Idol experience, though. “You know what I loved? I loved the contestants,” she told Martinez. “And some of them that were so good — and also really good people, you could tell — it was disappointing when [the judges] would, for political reasons, not put people through.”

To be fair to Mariah, after she said that about “going to work in hell” she added “no, just playing. It didn’t affect me that much, I was just disappointed.” As for how she talked about certain contestants not getting through for political reasons – she just kind of trashed her former employer there didn’t she? Or is she talking about the public voting process? I do think she’s saying that the show is staged somewhat, which we know, but again she got paid more than top actors and actresses get for blockbuster movies. She’s ridiculous.
My mom watched Idol the season that Mariah was on and she said that Mariah was “stiff” at first, but that she warmed up and was decent with the contestants as the season progressed. I saw a couple episodes and I was struck by what an ass Nicki Minaj was. Mariah seemed aloof to me, as usual. I can see how Nicki Minaj would be annoying, but when that much money is involved, suck it up. Mariah did that when she was doing the gig, but her throbbing ego couldn’t keep it in check forever.
Here’s the video of Mariah saying this. Notice at about :25 in when she kind of glosses over her huge paycheck. “They gave me a nice dangling monetary moment.” To Mariah, 18 million dollars is a “moment.”

If you’ve ever wondered what the relationship between Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon is like, just read this quote from Cannon who says Mariah thinks his music is a joke and then laughs about it.
He told Enstars at the InTouch Weekly Icons & Idols after-party for the VMAs that Carey is in the studio “getting her album finished” and he called it an “incredible” record. Cannon added that he and his wife do not give each other advice about their albums, but that Carey has strong feelings against his music.
“She thinks my music is a big joke,” he said, before adding with laughs, “but so do I so it doesn’t matter.”
He then explained the difference between their different sounds and in the process praised his wife’s talents.
“My music is silly, you know what I mean, she makes anthems that changes people’s lives,” he continued. “I make songs about shaking ya ass. My album is called White People Party Music so that’s how I would describe it. Fist-pumping-good-time-have-a-blast-type of music.”
Did you hear that? It’s the sound of a cracking whip. It’s amazing how much this guy will put up with for that bag of money. “Hey, Nick. Your music is sh*t!” Haha, okay, cool Mariah. What kind of sandwich did you want me to make you again?

Ms. Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon, talked about her dressing habits while in New York City for theAmerica’s Got Talent results show. According to Nick, Mariah doesn’t wear the same outfit twice.
“I wish I had the most closet space because I probably have more clothes than she does because that’s someone who doesn’t wear anything twic
“It rotates through her closet. Then it goes into an archive or she’ll give it to a charity, museum, or something like that,” he said. “Me? I got to wear my stuff again, so I need the closet space.”
She “archives” her clothes. What does that mean? Does she have a section of her closet with her clothes tagged like dead bodies at the morgue? What a weirdo.

While promotingThe Butler, Mariah Carey talked about one scene in particular where a white woman spits on a black college student. Coming from a biracial family, she says that exact thing happened to her as a child.
Speaking to Yahoo! Movies, she said, “That actually happened to me.” She added: “I know people would be in shock and not really want to believe or accept that, but it did. That right there that was almost the deepest thing to me in the movie because I know what she went through – and it happened to be a bus as well. It was a school bus, in the face and in the same way.”
That incident probably provided the motivation she needed to become the person she is today. And that she finally found the person that spat in her face and kicked them in the balls. Mariah seems like the type that can really hold a grudge.

Nick Cannon talked to Toofab and revealed that Mariah Carey might have nerve damage in her arm after dislocating her shoulder while filming her new music video.
She?s doing a lot better, but she still doesn?t have movement in her right arm, there?s nerve damage. Her shoulder is definitely a lot better, back in place, but she also had some cracked ribs. She can?t move. The fact that she doesn?t have use of her right arm right now has been pretty tough on her, but the doctor said with a lot more rest and relaxation she?ll be fine.
I like how Nick puffs up her injury and then explains that as long as she rests, she’ll be fine. It went from “OMG, nerve damage! This sounds serious!,” too, “Eh, it’s just a few nerves, dude.” This guy blows more things out of proportion than a porn camera.
