Earlier this week we heard that Kate Hudson and her fiance, Muse frontman Matt Bellamy, were off-again and that they “have been separated for some time now” according to Kate’s rep. This was despite the fact that Kate was seen attending an event with Matt less than three weeks ago. Judging solely from photos, if their relationship was off at that point, Matt didn’t seem to know about it. That’s pure assumption of course, but it’s the impression I guess. At that same event was Dancing With The Stars professional Derek Hough, who was spotted out on a date with Kate over the weekend. US Weekly reported that the two are an item, and now they’re claiming that Kate and Derek were seen kissing on that date.
The longtime (dance-off!) friends quickly got intimate — and didn’t care who was looking — after they arrived at L.A.’s restaurant the Nice Guy at 11 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5.
They “were totally kissing,” an insider tells Us of Hudson, 35, and the Dancing With the Stars pro, 29. “So scandalous!”
Shocking perhaps, but Hudson and Bellamy, who share 3-year-old son Bingham, had already broken up by then. “Kate and Matt have been separated for some time now,” a rep for Bellamy, 36, told Us on Tuesday, Dec. 9. “Despite this, they remain very close friends and committed co-parents.”
Hudson appears to share the same sentiment. “She says that Matt’s a really great guy, but they’re no longer together,” a pal tells Us. The split “wasn’t anything big and emotional.”

Of course this whole story could be an elaborate ruse. Lainey Gossip reports that Kate and Derek’s sister, Julianne Hough, are close friends and that the two share a publicist. *cough* We’ve heard of several of Derek’s hookups with Julianne’s friends, like Nikki Reed and Nina Dobrev. Then again, both of those women got with Hough right after their high profile relationships ended. The dude has a definite pattern.

This week Kate Hudson's rep announced that she and Matthew Bellamy split up some time ago, and rumor has it she?s already moving on.
According to E! News, the ?Almost Famous? starlet was spotted kissing Derek Hough at the Nice Guy restaurant in Los Angeles this past Friday evening (December 5). Kate and the ?Dancing with the Stars? stud have been friends for years and it?s only natural that they may have developed feelings for each other.
On Tuesday, Hudson?s spokesperson stated, "Kate and Matt have been separated for some time now. Despite this, they remain very close friends and committed co-parents."

While there may be a variety of fad diets and trendy gyms out there, Kate Hudson insists that real and lasting fitness results are only possible through working out and eating healthy.
The ?How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days? actress told Us Weekly that there?s no shortcut to being in fantastic shape.
"You [have to] work your ass off, that?s the only way. [And] you have to eat right. Everybody wants some sort of secret and there just isn?t, it?s just you have to work out."
Hudson continued, "I wouldn?t say [I work out] a lot, just consistently?People think for some reason you have to work out for two and a half hours?but, it can be little. It can be 20 minutes, it could be 40 minutes, but you have to [get it in].?
?You can?t do like two weeks and go like do two days and then take a week off and then do three days and then go, ?Why aren?t I [seeing results?] I don?t get it.' You know, you just got to do it -- sad, like anything else in life!"

I have to hand it to Kate Hudson, she’s realistic and honest about the fact that she works out daily and watches what she eats to lose weight. Kate isn’t one of those celebrities claiming that “running around after the kids” keeps the pounds off. Kate has consistently admitted how hard she works to look great, and she said that after she had her second baby she literally worked out for six hours a day to lose weight. In a new interview with US Weekly, Kate said that you don’t have to work out for two hours daily to lose weight but that you have to do something every day. She also said that there’s no secret or trick to it.
Kate Hudson… admitted to Us Weekly at her mom Goldie Hawn’s charity event Love In For Kids on Nov. 21 that she works her “ass off” to stay in shape and there’s simply no other secret to looking good.
After dishing that she loves a “real serious double double burger, fries, and Coke,” the Fabletics designer, 35, admitted that she has to work hard in the gym to maintain her perfect physique.

The mom of two, who has been practicing Pilates for 15 years, said the key is to be consistent with your workouts.

I recently lost weight with MyFitnessPal and I don’t tell people about it unless they ask. No one wants to hear that I weigh and measure everything I eat and enter it all into an app. People invariably say that it sounds like too much work. (Once you do it it becomes second nature.) I also try to work out more and while I’m in no way close to Kate Hudson’s level of fitness, I agree that you have to be consistent about it. To me it’s more about diet than exercise though, because even when I exercise my butt off I can ruin it by eating too much. That’s why I’m not really buying that Kate Hudson eats a double burger, fries and a coke for a treat. Maybe she does that once a month.
Also, genes play into this. Look at her mom! I know it’s more the work she puts into it, and she’ll tell you about it. Good for her.

Kate Hudson looked stunningly gorgeous at the LACMA gala honoring Quentin Tarantino. Kate wore a Grecian-inspired Gucci dress. The color is a pale pink, almost blush, yet not too girly pink. I love this dress, which is perfect for a gala. She’s also carrying a silver Gucci clutch and wearing Chrome Hearts jewelry. The muted color of Kate’s dress allowed her to go bold with her makeup without looking garish. Stong eyes and lips usually don’t go well together, but Kate pulls off both here. Her hair is playfully tousled but still polished. The side view is a little more exciting and striking than the front.
Florence Welch was dressed in … Gucci as well? She has a knack for being able to stand out from the crowd even when dressing within event guidelines. This printed jumpsuit is nothing that I’d ever wear, but it suits Florence’s personality. She’s so cool.
The man of the hour, Quentin Tarantino, cleaned up nicely for the event. QT in glasses!
Michelle Rodriguez wore a cute white dress that was both sporty-ish and sexy. Her bangs look a little greasy, but that body won’t stop.
Camilla Belle in a cornflower blue halter gown. I can’t find verification that this is Gucci, but it probably is. Camilla wears a lot of Gucci even when she’s not at Gucci-sponsored events. She’s so pretty and so boring.
Selena Gomez does nothing to stop those boob job rumors with this slinky silver dress. Her hair and makeup look gorge.
Rachel Zoe wore a curtain-inspired dress with a built-in cape. This dress looks heavy, severe, and no fun at all. Not good for the brand, Zoe!

The ?How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days? flaunted plenty of midriff as she posed with fellow guests in what she referred to as a ?Sons of Anarchy?-themed costume.
Hudson posted a photo of her sexy ensemble along with the caption, ?Mother of Anarchy is taking her daughters to a little party.?
Kate?s dad Kurt Russell also showed up at the party as did Katy Perry, Lily Allen, Tallulah Willis and Jessica Alba.

A slew of B-listers attended the Casamigos Tequlia Halloween party this weekend. Paris Hilton was there in her traditional trashy costume. I swear she has a whole closet full of them. Halloween is her favorite holiday. Kate Hudson attended without a full-on costume, but she did have her face painted as a Mexican death mask. I suspect this will be a popular costume for many after the recent children’s movie, The Book of Life, brought Dia de los Muertos to theaters.
Kate is not Mexican, yet she has her face painted in sugar-skull mode. Is this offensive at all, or is she simply showing her appreciation for the Mexican culture? Several US cities hold Day of the Dead celebrations where people who are not Mexican get their faces painted at the festivals by Mexican artists. So this is an honest inquiry: Is Kate’s costume on the same level of St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in the US? You tell me. I’m all ears. Some people do find it offensive when non-Mexicans wear this makeup.
The rest of the celebrities in attendance were pretty try hard. Paris dressed as Minnie Mouse and had a ball for the paps. Elisabetta Canalis wore a Wizard of Oz Dorothy costume. Paris was probably upset she didn’t dream that one up, so she could carry one of her many tiny dogs. Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber came as fancy hippies. Molly Sims was … very pink? Chord Overstreet dressed as a cop. A hot cop? That’s debatable.
P.S. Have you seen the Ray Rice-inspired costumes this year? Disgusting.
