Starting her weekend with a relaxing afternoon, Kate Hudson went to the nail salon and grabbed a treat in Pacific Palisades, California on Friday (April 4).
The "Almost Famous" star looked cute in a black top, black and gray camouflage-patterned pants, and flip-flops as she munched on fruit and granola as she went about her day.
Recently, the 34-year-old actress shared her way of staying in shape to The Zoe Report, admitting, "My rule is to try and break a sweat six days a week, whether through an intense workout or running around with the kids. I just try to break a sweat."
Focused on staying healthy, Kate adds, "I believe that with anything in life, you need motivation. The one thing that women always talk about is how they'd like to find time for themselves to make themselves happy. Being active can be challenging, but it's one of the greatest health benefits."

Kate Hudson really brought the drama in this Atelier Versace, right? She was one of the best people on the red carpet, and I thought her dress ?walked? well on stage too ? it was a 360 dress, good from every angle. It also doesn?t look like Versace to me, but perhaps Donatella made this especially for Kate. I mean, what else is there to say? She looked fantastic. Everything worked. Great hair, great makeup, her dress was the perfect combination of drama and flattering design. I guess the ?caped? effect is maybe a throwback to Gwyneth Paltrow?s caped Tom Ford, but this Versace isn?t really a cape.
And here are some pics of Kate?s dress change for the after-parties. She wore Zuhair Murad, a designer favored by the likes of Jennifer Lopez. I could totally see this dress on J.Lo too, which makes me not like it so much on Kate. I kind of think she should have just stuck to the Versace for the after-parties. I should also note: Hudson did the Oscars without Matthew Bellamy. I think they?re over, you guys.
I think I saw Penelope Cruz on the red carpet last night, but maybe I was hallucinating, because I don?t remember her in this Giambattista Valli gown. Am I hallucinating? I?m a bit Oscar punch-drunk right now. Anyway, this is beautiful and it reminds me of Elizabeth Taylor. It wouldn?t surprise me at all if Penelope had consciously tried to channel Taylor. I don?t mind all of the fabric and I don?t mind the pink. My one qualm is the black belt and the bow, which isn?t really flattering and I think Valli could have achieved the same basic design in a better way. The black belt is also a bit too matchy with the clutch, so the effect is that she looks like a wrapped gift from Victoria?s Secret.

Enjoying a quiet dinner before the rush of Oscar festivities, Kate Hudson left Madeo Restaurant in West Hollywood on Friday (February 28).
The "Almost Famous" star looked chic in a red pantsuit and black heels as she rushed through the crowds to her vehicle.
Noticeably absent was her fiane, Matthew Bellamy and rumors are swirling about the state of their relationship.
On Tuesday, Kate attended BVLGARI's Decades of Glamour event without her engagement ring. She and the Muse frontman share a 2-year-old son, Bingham.

Here are some photos of Kate Hudson at last night?s ?Bulgari Celebrates 130 Years? event in West Hollywood. Kate looks pretty here, although I?m not a fan of this hairstyle for her. I was debating back and forth whether these photos deserved a post, or whether we should even talk about Kate, but then I saw a suspicious story on People Mag about her. For the record, there were a tabloid story last week (I think) about Kate and Matt Bellamy and how they were having problems. Kate denied the story. And now this was in People:
They had a whirlwind courtship, welcomed a baby and got engaged in a little over a year. But it seems wedding plans for Kate Hudson and Matthew Bellamy are on hold for now.
“Kate and Matt have been on the rocks for some time,” a source close to Hudson tells PEOPLE in the magazine’s new issue. “They’re not in a great place.”
In December, the couple and their 2-year-old son, Bingham, were together in Australia, where Bellamy’s band, Muse, was playing. They spent Christmas in the U.K. with Bellamy’s family, skipping Hudson’s mom Goldie Hawn’s annual Christmas getaway in Aspen.
Since then, Hudson has been seen out with family and friends ? but not Bellamy ? in L.A., New York and at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, where she promoted her film Wish I Was Here.
On Tuesday night, Hudson showed up solo at Bulgari’s Decades of Glamour bash at L.A.’s Soho House, where she was spotted without her 9-carat engagement ring.
Despite this, the source says the couple “are still living together. Kate is not giving up.”
Reps for the pair did not comment for this story.
Hudson, 34, and Bellamy, 35, met in April 2010 at the Coachella Music Festival in California. Hudson told InStyle in 2011, “Matthew was polite and immediately protective, which for somebody like me who’s all over the place ? one minute I’m over here and the next I’m over there ? is important.”
She continued: “I wanted to talk to him and be with him all the time. On our first dates we would take long walks and talk the entire day.”
In April 2011, the couple got engaged, and that July, they welcomed son Bingham. (Hudson also has a 10-year-old son, Ryder, with ex-husband Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes.) Since then, the couple have split their time between California and London, where Hudson purchased a home in 2012, and last summer shot her upcoming film Good People.
When asked in January about wedding planning, Hudson told Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan: “No, I’m planning nothing right now. I’m so busy, we’ve been so busy, and it’s been great. I come from an unconventional family ? my parents aren’t married. So there’s a part of me that goes, ‘If I’m going to do it, I’m going to do it right’ ? So, no. Not anytime soon, no.”

I wouldn?t be surprised if Kate and Matt were having problems, but I?m mostly surprised that they?ve managed to work for as long as they have. Usually Kate goes through men a lot faster. Don?t hate the player, hate the game! Anyway, Kate is scheduled to present at the Oscars, so we?ll see if Matt is on her arm.

Looking fabulous even for a long flight, Kate Hudson arrived in style at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Friday (January 17).
The "Almost Famous" star donned a black hat, white blazer, and black pants as she made her way though with a fringed bag over her shoulder.
After a short stint on "Glee," the 34-year-old actress returns to the big screen in the upcoming film, "Wish I Was Here."
Written and directed by Zach Braff, the movie follows a struggling actor and father who ends up home-schooling his children. "Wish I Was Here" is slated to hit theaters in September.

Taking her little guy for a family visit on Saturday (January 4), Kate Hudson and her son Bingham Bellamy headed to her brother Olivier Hudson's house in Brentwood, CA.
The "Bride Wars" babe spent the day with Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell, wearing a gray quarter-zip with skinny jeans and cute sandals, carrying Bingham on her hip.

Kicking off the last day of 2013 with some physical fitness, Kate Hudson hit up her local gym in Brentwood on Tuesday (December 31).
The ?Raising Helen? star sported a white tank and red leggings as she finished her intense workout.
Recently, Kate finished the production of her latest comedy drama ?Wish I Was Here.? Per the synopsis, the film follows ?Aidan Bloom, a struggling actor, father and husband, who at 35 is still trying to find his identity; a purpose for his life."
Starring alongside Miss Hudson are Jim Parsons, Ashley Green, Mandy Patinkin, Zach Braff and Donald Faison. ?Wish I Was Here? is slated to hit theaters Fall 2014.

She spent the Christmas holiday in the UK with English fianc Matthew Bellamy, and last night (December 30) Kate Hudson made her return to America.
Joined by her sons Ryder and Bingham, the ?How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days? dame showed up at LAX International Airport sporting a hooded sweater and nerd glasses to ring in the New Year in SoCal.
Meanwhile, Kate recently told press that despite the prevailing trend of shorter hairdos in Hollywood, she?ll keep her locks long.
?No, not for me. If I had to do it for a role maybe, but I wouldn?t just do a pixie. I like having long hair. I have one friend and she almost has a long buzz cut and she looks gorgeous. But I don?t how my ears would look in a pixie. I don?t know if it?s right for me.?
