Here is Amanda Bynes walking through Times Square in New York City. Ex-Nickelodeon star was photographed wandering around New York City’s Times Square wearing a blue button-up shirt on her head. She appeared to be trying to hide her identity, but she just ended up attracting even more attention.
Amanda was sure her cleavage was on full display in her latest Twitter snapshot.

She took a taxi to get a new phone because no one was calling her on her last one.

Because she may think she’s screwing over the paparazzi, but really she’s just doing us all a favor. Amanda Bynes posted two pictures of her new cheek piercing on her Tumblr. One above and one here. What does this tell us about how Amanda Bynes is doing? Not much except for the fact that she’s still kind of crazy and making questionable decisions. Who knows how many hallways she had to stand naked in before she found one that would do a cheek piercing.

Kaiser and I were emailing about this, and she posed the question of whether some of Amanda’s recent issues (staying for hours in a hair salon, locking herself in various bathrooms and dressing rooms) were somewhat of a put on. Crazy Days and Nights floated this theory a few weeks back. We both agree that she has serious mental issues regardless, and I thought that this was further evidence of that, until I read the details. It sounds more like a “look at me” stunt, but with Amanda it’s hard to tell. She apparently walked buck naked out of a spray tan session in search of some goggles, going up to the receptionist’s desk without a stitch on. I’ve lived places where this would be perfectly acceptable, but Amanda knows it’s something that will get people talking here in the states. Here’s the story, thanks to In Touch:
After purchasing a Mystic spray-tan session, the 26-year-old was set up in a private room ? but it wasn?t long before Amanda strode back out into the main salon area in search of goggles.
Only problem: She wasn?t wearing any clothes! ?She walked out of the room completely naked,? the eyewitness tells In Touch. ?She didn?t seem to care that everyone saw her naked.?
?She seemed totally out of it,? the eyewitness says. ?She took her time walking back to the Mystic room, dragging her fingers along the wall and smiling at customers who passed her.”
The eyewitness adds: ?There was definitely something wrong with her.?

If Amanda was sitting in the lobby nekkid for a couple of hours, just applying her makeup, I would say it was a definite mental health issue, but this is something else. This suggests she knew what she was doing, but again who knows? Amanda has done a lot of things that suggest she’s troubled. At least she’s still doing “ok” somewhat, for her. I mean she’s not driving anymore and she seems to be keeping busy, what with the spray tans and the shopping. I wonder if her fashion career is going to take off at all, and if she actually is moving forward with those plans.
In response to this story, Amanda told US Weekly that it was untrue and that they should leave her along because she’s rich or something. She said “I’m not ‘troubled.’ I don’t get naked in public. I’m 26, a multi-millionaire, retired. Please respect my privacy.” So we shouldn’t talk about her because she’s retired and has piles of cash in the bank? That makes no sense. At least she’s ok after Hurricane Sandy. It must be rough in New York, even if you’re uptown.

Amanda Bynes read that story about her walking around a tanning salon in a naked haze and isn’t happy about it. She says the story is a complete lie and plans on suing In Touch.
“I’m suing In Touch for printing a fake story,” the furious star told Us Weekly Thursday. “I’m not ‘troubled.’ I don’t get naked in public. I’m 26, a multi-millionaire, retired. Please respect my privacy.”
Uh, ok, Amanda Bynes. *Backs away slowly* You keep living in fantasy land. Hey, while you’re there, can you wrangle me a unicorn? I’ve been searching for one of those for, like, ever.

Amanda Bynes moved to NYC to avoid all that bad press and now that she’s not crazily driving around LA slamming into cars, she’s walking around NYC naked. Most recently at a Mystic tanning salon where she walked around the main area naked looking for goggles.
In Touch reports that after buying a spray-tan session, Amanda was given a private room but it didn’t take long for her to walk back out into the main salon area looking for goggles.
This would have been a non-story had she not bee completely naked. A witness tells In Touch, “She didn’t seem to care that everyone saw her naked.” They went on, “She seemed totally out of it. She took her time walking back to the Mystic room, dragging her fingers along the wall and smiling at customers who passed her.” The witness concluded, “There was definitely something wrong with her.”

First I should mention that Dina Lohan did an interview with Entertainment Tonight as part of damage control for her drunken disastrous Dr. Phil appearance. There are so many gems in there, and Kaiser will be covering it separately as a full story. We’re just going to focus on what Dina Lohan said when asked about what kind of advice she would give to Amanda Bynes’ parents. She said that they should just “be around,” basically, since that worked so well at keeping Lindsay out of trouble. Then she added that “she’ll be ok.” Just like Lindsay, right? She’s fine! Here’s what Dina said:
On if she’s upset that Amanda hasn’t had any consequences yet
“You know, I’m a mother, and I feel that that’s for her mother to speak about, and not me, because people have spoken for my child and myself, so I really feel that’s for her parents to discuss and Amanda herself.”
Dina’s advice to Amanda’s parents
“Just be around. ? It’s hard when your daughter’s not, you know, over 18, and you want to let them go ? and they want to, you know, feel like they’re in control of themselves. So it’s a very strategic place for a parent to be, but she’ll be ok.”

Dina’s “strategic place” to “be around” with Lindsay was out at the clubs, at the dermatologists getting their botox and fillers, and probably in some dingy bathrooms doing lines. I don’t want to speculate beyond that, although other things come to mind.
Getting back to Amanda Bynes, whose parents may have moved to California to keep an eye on her (reports vary as to whether they did it for her sake), she’s plead not guilty to the two counts of hit and run she was charged with. Also, we’ve heard that Amanda is now in New York, she moved there to start some kind of “fashion career,” so it’s not like her family can be around her there unless they fly out. Amanda’s lawyers entered this plea on her behalf since she’s on the east coast now. Amanda still has to face charges for DUI and two counts of driving on a suspended license. TMZ reports that she could get a year in jail on each count, although you know that’s not going to happen. This all sounds a hell of lot like Lindsay, except Amanda has gone silent and is trying to avoid the paparazzi. Plus we haven’t heard directly from any of Amanda’s family, except for a concerned uncle who spoke to Celebuzz. In that respect I think Amanda is ahead of Lindsay. I’m thinking Dina “being around” messed up Lindsay more than if she would have kept her distance.
