Trying her best to stay healthy, Amanda Bynes showed up at a local fitness center in Thousand Oaks, California on Friday (January 31).
The troubled ?She?s the Man? actress looked a bit cranky to see shutterbugs waiting for her as she strolled inside sporting a black t-shirt, black shorts and black sneakers.
After spending some serious time in rehab last year, Amanda is said to be on the road to recovery and has even enrolled in college.
Last week, Bynes attended classes at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, a reassuring sign that things are looking up.

She's fresh out of inpatient mental health treatment and Amanda Bynes is already experiencing a good start to her 2014.
The former Nickelodeon star and prosecutors have come to a resolution regarding her criminal case in which she allegedly threw a bong out of her NYC apartment window.
With the evidentiary issues and the 27-year-old actress's well-documented treatment, law enforcement sources tell TMZ that tomorrow in court the charges will eventually be thrown out by Adjournment in Contemplation of Dismissal.
If Amanda stays out of trouble and continues therapy for the next six months, the charges will be formally dismissed and the case sealed.
With her legal woes wrapping up, Ms. Bynes hopes to get a fresh start with a whole new venture. She has just enrolled in the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising for the winter quarter.

Hoping for a much brighter year than last, Amanda Bynes took a walk in Thousand Oaks, California on Thursday (January 2).
The former Nickelodeon star wore a black T-shirt with "Homies" on it, blue skinnies, and Pink sneakers as she jammed to some tunes on her stroll.
After being sprung from inpatient mental health treatment late last year, the 27-year-old actress has been laying low.
Getting plenty of fresh air and support from her parents, Amanda looks to be adjusting well and ready to turn over a new leaf.

Going about her usual routine nowadays, Amanda Bynes got her hair done at the salon before walking the dogs with her parents on Sunday (December 29) in LA.
The ?Sydney White? starlet wore a patterned dark blue shirt, black skinnies and a pair of Pink running treads, walking along, looking a little sullen as she went with her parents.
The 27-year-old has been the basis for an impressive number of arrests and bizarre incidents, leading to her being placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold in California.
Her arrest and hold came after she allegedly started a fire in a stranger's driveway, but she seems healthy now, and is getting back in the swing of things. Let?s hope she can make her come back to stardom soon!

Bynes recently completed a four-month stint in psychiatric rehab after a series of bizarre incidents that led to her arrest and subsequent treatment.
Amanda?s lawyer previously issued a statement on her behalf- "Amanda and her entire family would like to thank everyone who's contacted them with good thoughts and wishes for Amanda's recovery. Amanda has completed her inpatient rehabilitation and she's feeling better every day."

The star’s healthier appearances comes after the news that the star has enrolled at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.
After being discharged from UCLA Medical Center in Malibu earlier this month, where she was being treated for schizophrenia and bi-polar disorder, Amanda is said to have signed up to the private design school in order to pursue a career as a fashion designer.

Enjoying a little family time in Thousand Oaks, CA, the troubled Amanda Bynes took her family dogs on a walk with her parents.
The "Easy A" actress strode along with her pup on Saturday (December 7), wearing a bright blue Captain America" sweatshirt with black skinnies, sporting a black and white cap featuring the text, "Twerk Team."
The 27-year-old recently completed her rehabilitation at a treatment center. She plans to go to college for fashion design, and her lawyer released a statement about her experience.
"Amanda and her entire family would like to thank everyone who's contacted them with good thoughts and wishes for Amanda's recovery," Tamar Arminak's statment read. "Amanda has completed her inpatient rehabilitation and she's feeling better every day." Let's hope Amanda can make a complete recovery!

Tending to her daily duties just one day after her release from rehab, Amanda Bynes headed into a Los Angeles, CA medical center this afternoon (December 6).
The 27-year-old actress sported brunette locks with a simple ensemble as she kept her head down to avoid the awaiting paparazzi before heading inside to her appointment.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Miss Bynes is staying with her parents after her rehab stint, which began in July. According to her mother's lawyer Tamar Arminak, Amanda "has completed her inpatient rehabilitation and she's feeling better every day."
Arminak added that the "She's the Man" actress is doing very well after treatment and "She's now looking at various colleges with the intention of majoring in fashion design. She's mentioned before she's interested in creating a clothing line."

Does it ever seem to anyone else that almost no time passes before a celebrity is out of treatment, even if they’ve been inside for months? That’s the case for me with Amanda Bynes, who was placed on 5150 psychiatric hold after setting fire to a random person’s driveway in July. The fire-setting incident put Amanda’s involuntary treatment in motion following months of bizarre behavior, half-dressed selfies and taunting tweets. Her mother was granted conservatorship over Amanda in August.
Amanda emerged yesterday looking sober and lucid, and was seen out with her parents walking their dogs. She gave a simple statement to In Touch earlier this week, saying “I am doing very well. I’m doing great, it’s been five days since I got out of rehab.” So it sounds like she waited a little while before going outside and allowing the paps to see her. Here’s a statement from Amanda’s mother’s lawyer about her release:
Amanda Bynes has completed inpatient treatment and is recovering at her parents’ Los Angeles home, her mother’s attorney tells PEOPLE exclusively.
“Amanda and her entire family would like to thank everyone who’s contacted them with good thoughts and wishes for Amanda’s recovery,” says a statement from lawyer Tamar Arminak. “Amanda has completed her inpatient rehabilitation and she’s feeling better every day.”
Bynes, 27, had been forcibly hospitalized following a driveway-burning incident in July, but was eventually moved to a Malibu rehabilitation facility.
“She’s now looking at various colleges with the intention of majoring in fashion design,” the statement continues. “She’s mentioned before she’s interested in creating a clothing line.”
“Despite the fact Amanda is no longer in a facility, her outpatient treatment is continuing. She’s very happy to reestablish the loving relationship with her family that she once shared.”
As Bynes continues her recovery, her mother Lynn will remain in indefinite control over Bynes’s well-being and finances, Arminak confirmed.

TMZ reports that Amanda has already enrolled in fashion school, and will be taking two classes at the the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Orange County near her home. She’s starting slow and will have a chaperon to and from class. That sounds like a good plan for her, and she’s expressed an interest in being a fashion designer. A lot of celebrities have fashion lines, and I think she could be successful if she’s serious about it and stays sober and in treatment.
TMZ also has video of the paparazzi following and questioning Amanda and her parents while they walk their dogs. They ask her a lot of annoying questions but the only thing she responds to are compliments on how great she looks, saying “thank you.” Amanda is lucky to have caring parents to go home to. Think of how differently things could have turned out for Lindsay Lohan if she had the same.
I hope that Amanda stays with a program, that she stays sober, and that she stays off social media. I realize that there’s more going on with her than just drug abuse, but if she stays clean she stands a much better chance.
