My top-five favorite things to talk about regarding celebrity weddings, in order: 1) the dress, 2) the food, 3) the cake, 4) the bridesmaids? dresses, 5) the guests? outfits. What can I say? You can tell a lot about a person from what they serve at their wedding. And gdamn it, please have a cake. The worst wedding stories involve ?a fruit tart in lieu of a wedding cake.? Anyway, Jennifer Lawrence is getting married to Cooke Maroney. I thought the wedding would happen over the summer, but no. She?s going to be an autumn bride. An autumn bride with an amazing wedding reception menu! Jennifer and Cooke will apparently get married this weekend in Rhode Island (???) and TMZ found out all the details about themenu. And I?m here for it.
Jennifer Lawrence is about to walk down the aisle this weekend but the big scoop here is what she and her guests will feast on a smorgasbord of fancy eats and drinks. We got some deets on JLaws wedding which is going down Saturday at a swanky venue in Rhode Island, 8 months after she got engaged. We gotta say, for a relatively short engagement theyve put together a pretty elaborate affair. Clearly, Jen and hubby-to-be Cooke Maroney pulled out all the stops hiring celeb wedding planner Mark Seed to do the party for about 150 people.
Lets start with the grub, shall we? According to the menu, folks are gonna have their pick from a variety of hors doeuvres ..
. sweet potato flat cakes
brussels sprouts with cured egg yolk
smoked pork belly with pickled apple
salt cod beignet
Moving on to the main course options heres what Jen and Cooke, or their hired help, will be serving up either wood-roasted fish with herbs and lemon-infused butter OR 5-week-aged leg of beef with foragers sauce. There are veggies too heirloom roasted carrots, smoked new potatoes, whey braised cabbage blah, blah, blah. Lets get to the good good.
Desserts coming in hot! Fire-baked sourdough bread pudding with chocolate; salted caramel and fresh apple; cauldron fritters with bourbon cream and cinnamon sugar; house-made marshmallow smores. As for drinks, specialty cocktails appear to boil down to either a bourbon old-fashioned or gin cucumber lavender champagnes served at a cash bar. JK!!! Like we said, its gonna be extravagant. Dare we say decadent???

BEEF. And lots of dessert options! And potatoes! LOTS OF POTATOES. I love Jennifer so much for this menu, I would marry her right now as well. You can really see Jennifer?s Southern/Kentucky influences in the desserts too, as well as her taste for more ?fun? things. I mean, s?mores! Why not have s?mores at your wedding? BRING IN THE DORITO CAKE!! And I?m shocked that there?s not also a pizza option. She?ll probably have pizzas for the after-after party though, don?t you think?

By my count, Miley Cyrus has been with Cody Simpson for about three weeks. We first became aware of their coupled-up status two weeks ago, when they were gallivanting all over LA, making out at yogurt shops and breakfast joints. Since then, it?s been a whirlwind of selfies, Instagram Stories, rants about slut-shaming, hospitalizations and? it now seems like Cody has officially moved in with Miley. And he?s releasing new music based on their new love. Did he literally go into the music studio on their first date or something? Oh, and Cody?s rep is issuing statements to People Magazine on behalf of Cody and Miley?s love.
After years of friendship, Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson?s relationship recently turned romantic ? and the couple are on the same page when it comes to their lifestyles.
?It is early, but their friendship is long-standing and deeper than people realize. Though they originally met during their own wilder phases, they?re both sober now and are focused on health, work and spending time together. Seems pretty ideal to me,? Simpson?s manager Matt Zeidman tells PEOPLE exclusively in a statement.
While attending the Tiffany & Co. Mens Launch last week, Simpson opened up about his new romance with Cyrus, saying they ?found each other again in a space where we?re both not partying? and ?working real hard.?
The Australian singer ? who was by the entertainer?s side as she recovered from tonsillitis ? also revealed he?ll be dropping a new song inspired by Cyrus this week. ?She was like, ?If you don?t put this s? out, I?m putting it out on your behalf for you. I?m getting your Spotify login and doing this s? myself,? said Simpson. Cyrus teased the track on Monday in several Instagram Stories. ?Crystal dream, Cali queen / Radiant hand, vibrant sand / I?m shy, it?s a golden thing she?s got,? Simpson sings on the track, which Cyrus revealed is titled ?Golden Thing.?

Yeah? Miley has every right to move on and move in with a guy she?s been banging for three weeks, tops. But when the New Guy?s rep is issuing statements and Miley?s trying to parlay her fame to help out Mr. Three Week Boyfriend, I?m sorry, that?s tacky and gross. Miley could have been alone with her thoughts! She could have spent this time actually dating someone quietly, someone who isn?t going to release music less than a month into their love affair. And just like the thing with Kaitlynn, Miley is just burning through Cody too they?re doing everything so quickly and in a month, Miley?s going to be out the door.

I think Bella Hadid is beautiful. I also think she looks like she?s gotten bad plastic surgery and/or gotten tweaked with fillers and Botox. I think all of that at once she?s a beautiful young woman and she needs to stop messing with her face. But yeah, in general, I?ve always liked Bella?s ?look? as a model and I think her vibe is very high-end she looks at home in print ads for high-end designer labels, but I?m not sure she could sell me a pair of jeans. But here?s a question: is Bella?s ?look? really the ideal? Is she ?the most beautiful woman in the world??

London facial cosmetic surgeon Dr. Julian De Silva has determined supermodel Bella Hadid, 23, to be the most beautiful woman in the world, based on modern mapping techniques that implement the classic Greek ?Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi.?
?[Hadid] was the clear winner when all elements of the face were measured for physical perfection,? De Silva told the Daily Mail of Hadid, who landed a 94.35% perfection score. ?She had the highest overall reading for her chin which, with a score of 99.7 percent, is only 0.3 percent away from being the perfect shape.?
While Bella?s big sister Gigi Hadid didn?t make the list, singer Beyonc, 38, came in second (92.44%) while actress Amber Heard, 33, placed third (91.85%). Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift placed fourth and fifth, respectively. The ?Golden Ratio? was used by artists such as Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci to mathematically calculate the beauty of much of their work, including but not limited to assessing the beauty of female subjects.

The Golden Ratio is a real thing and we, as humans, are drawn to look at people with the right kind of facial symmetry. That being said, this guy is just shilling for his own plastic surgery business. It?s more likely that his clients are women coming in wanting to look like Bella Hadid, and they believe that she?s got an ?attainable? look because she has been tweaked.
Also: Ariana Grande doesn?t have ?the right kind? of symmetrical face. That?s why she always demands to be photographed on her left side, her ?good side.? It?s because she knows she?s got an asymmetrical face.

As everyone keeps saying, Angelina Jolie is back to feeling good about life and feeling good about herself. It took three years, basically. Angelina has been promoting Maleficent: Mistress of Evil all over the world for weeks, and she?s been making a lot of public comments as she does press for the film. Her quotes, taken together, kind of reveal that Angelina spent 2014-2016 in a bad place. Those were her final years with Brad Pitt, and she was deeply unhappy. In the wake of their split, Jolie says she was not feeling strong, especially not strong enough to play Maleficent again:
Angelina Jolie had to work to find the strength to play Maleficent again in the upcoming sequel. Jolie put the horns back on last summer to shoot Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, which comes out this Friday, marking her first acting role in four years.
?It was a tough time,? Jolie tells PEOPLE of returning to the character in this week?s issue. ?I?d been coming off a few years of difficulty, and I was not feeling very strong. In fact, I was feeling pretty broken. It took me a moment to feel the strength of [Maleficent] again.?

And it made me laugh because Angelina sounded like such a stage parent when she talked about trying to get Vivienne to do ?act? as Aurora. I wish at least one of the kids wanted to be in the second movie!
