Not fooling paparazzi with her new look, a brunette Katherine Heigl was spotted out in Los Feliz, California on Monday (March 8).
The “Grey’s Anatomy” actress strolled over to Little Dom’s for lunch, having just recently dyed her blonde locks the new darker shade.
Meanwhile, Miss Heigl is gearing up to be honored as the female star of the year at ShoWest 2010.
Katherine is expected to attend a fancy ceremony held in Las Vegas on March 18th, with ShoWest managing director Robert Sunshine telling, “Her ever-present charm and innate talent have made Heigl’s transition from TV screen to silver screen seemingly effortless. Her comedic timing and flair for acting are showcased in each of her roles and have captivated audiences around the globe.”

Enjoying the lovely weather, Katherine Heigl was spotted out for an afternoon lunch date with her mother on Friday (March 5).
The “Grey’s Anatomy” actress was all smiles as she and her mom ventured into Figaro Bistro restaurant in Los Feliz for the midday meal.
Meanwhile, Miss Heigl is gearing up to be honored as the female star of the year at ShoWest 2010.

After a shocking return, Katherine Heigl’s character Izzie of “Grey’s Anatomy,” may not be sticking around much longer.
After the new mother took maternity leave for adopted 15-month-old daughter Naleigh, the actress has returned to the set of ABC’s hit medical series.
However, Heigl doesn’t seem all too pleased. She tells press, “Our first day back was Wednesday and it was — I’m going to keep saying this because I hope it embarrasses them — a 17-hour day, which I think is cruel and mean.”
For now, the audience will just have to wait and see just how long she stays. Of Katherine’s possible departure, a show’s insider tells, “The level of speculation is no different than it has been in the past couple of years.”
Heigl’s rep is yet to comment.

It took a small, innocent baby to tame the wild beast known only as ?Dame Heigl?. This is according to Betty Confidential?s sources, who claim that since Heigl adopted her beautiful little daughter Naleigh and brought her home from Sourth Korea, Dame Heigl has been almost professional and nice! While coworkers previously described Heigl as ?unprofessional? or ?diva? or ?unfortunate? or ?Jesus, shut up, bitch,? now Heigl is being described in glowing terms as ?tolerable?. Chuckle. That one is still cracking me up. My God, her co-workers must hate her, if there?s this huge story about how Dame Heigl has changed so much and now, at long last, she?s ?tolerable.?
What a difference a baby makes! That?s what stars of Grey?s Anatomy are saying about their co-worker Katherine Heigl. A source tells BettyConfidential that Katherine has become a changed woman since she and her husband, singer Josh Kelley, adopted their daughter, Naleigh, a special-needs child from South Korea last fall.
?She’s mellowed out since bringing home Naleigh,? says the source. ?She?s a doting mom. She doesn?t like to be apart from her baby, so she brings her to the set as often as she can.? And co-stars are not complaining! ?Katherine loves showing off Naleigh. And her co-stars get a kick out of her,? says the insider. ?She?s such a good baby. She?s always smiling and hardly ever cries.?
As BettyConfidential previously reported, Katherine (who returns to TV screens tonight as Dr. Izzie Stevens) had been labeled a diva on the set. ?She?s really trying hard to be pleasant and not offend anyone this year,? adds the source. ?She?s by no means anyone?s best friend, but she?s tolerable and that?s the main thing. Everyone is more at ease with less tension on the set.?
When Katherine joined Grey?s Anatomy in 2005, she and her now ex co-star, TR Knight, became fast friends, but it seemed the pair courted drama. Katherine complained loudly and publicly about her long working hours and TR had a much-publicized feud with Isaiah Washington. Last season, when TR left the show, everyone thought Katherine would be easier to work with, but that wasn?t the case.
?She and TR hung out together on the set all the time. Once he was gone, everyone thought she?d be friendlier. But she started rattling the cages again, complaining about scripts.?
The cast was even relieved when she took time off last year to film her upcoming movie, Five Killers, with Ashton Kutcher. And, then took another five weeks off this season to film the romantic comedy Life As We Know It. But, now it seems that motherhood has made Katherine more laid-back and the insider says it?s interested to see the changes in everyone on set as they gather around her and her well-behaved baby.
Could it be that Katherine now has more in common with her co-stars? Ellen Pompeo had a baby last year and Chyler Leigh already brings her daughter, Anniston, to the set, and Eric Dane and his wife, Rebecca Gayheart, are expecting their first child together, a girl, later this year.
The source adds that even directors and producers have been commenting on how easygoing Katherine has been lately. But no one is analyzing it too much; they?re just happy that the drama is now contained to what?s going on in front of the cameras!

I think it?s perfectly possible and probable that Katherine is toning it down, maturing, and learning how to be more professional and classy. Is it because she?s a mom now? Could be. It could also be that she finally got into her head that her big diva mouth was destroying her career. You know what I?ve noticed, though? Since adopting Naleigh, Katherine has barely talked to the media one way or the other, letting her charity do most of the talking on her behalf. She?s also been MIA for any kind of promotional duties for Grey?s Anatomy. Interesting? could it be that there?s another Dame Heigl moment coming, just waiting until she gets in front of a journalist?

Prepping for a flight on a private jet, Katherine Heigl was spotted taking off from Van Nuys, CA earlier today (Dec 2).
The “Grey’s Anatomy” star looked cute and comfortable in Uggs, jeans, a turtle neck and button up while she made sure adopted baby daughter, Naleigh, was happy before boarding the plane.
Also along for the ride were Heigl’s three beloved dogs who, earlier in the week, paid a visit to the veterinarian’s office.

Spending the entire day doting on his birthday bride, Josh Kelley escorted Katherine Heigl all around town in honor of her 31st on Tuesday (November 24).
The “Grey’s Anatomy” actress and her handsome hubby first went shopping for some groceries before eating up lunch at the Desert Rose restaurant in Los Feliz.
Afterwards, Katherine and Josh headed back home to check in on their precious daughter, Naleigh, before getting all dressed up for a night on the town.
Keeping things classy, Mr Kelley escorted the Izzie Stevens actress over to Eva Longoria’s Beso restaurant for a romantic night-capping birthday dinner.

Spotted out for lunch in Los Angeles, CA yesterday (November 20th), Katherine Heigl looked to be having a great time during the mid-day meal.
The “27 Dresses” actress, joined by husband Josh Kelley, and two others, was very animated throughout lunch as she talked, laughed and goofed around. At one point, Ms Heigl didn’t care who was watching as she openly picked her teeth, and even had hubby, Josh, help her.
Heigl is on yet another hiatus from her “Grey’s Anatomy” gig, spending time with her adopted daughter, Naleigh, through the end of the year.
She and Kelley adopted Naleigh, a Korean baby, in September. They named her after Heigl’s mother and sister, Nancy and Leigh.

It has been a big week for Ms. Heigl, who was spotted helping movers load her belongings into the moving truck en route to her new digs.
Katherine is enjoying some downtime thanks to a belated maternity leave from her “Grey’s Anatomy” gig in favor of spending more time with her adopted daughter Naleigh.
