Stepping out to promote her new movie ?Clear History,? Kate Hudson showed up at ?The Tonight Show with Jay Leno? last night (July 31).
The ?Fool?s Gold? gal discussed how she and her main man Matt Bellamy disagreed on the sex of their son Bingham back when he was still in the womb.
?There was no question in my mind that it was a girl. Because it was completely different, it was a totally different pregnancy, I carried different, he felt different. My mom and I, we knew it was a girl? Matt totally was like, ?It?s a boy.? He knew the whole time he was like, ?Ah, I think it?s a boy.??
As for the Royal Baby fanfare over in London, Kate shared, ?Oh that was insane actually. You can?t help but follow it because it?s on every news channel. Like, that?s all you saw. It was the longest labor on news, it literally was full coverage.?
And though she?s never met the Royal Family, Hudson told of a time that her father Kurt Russell let them stay at the family vacation home. ?Prince William and Prince Harry actually stayed at our house in Colorado when they were kids. I remember we were all in LA and they were staying with their mom at the time. And we get this phone call at the house, and my dad gets to the phone. I think it was Prince William, calling my dad to ask if he could use the ATVs? And when my dad got off the phone he said, ?That?s a really well-raised boy!??

Here are some new photos of Kate Hudson at last night?s premiere of the HBO movie Clear History. You know what?s weird? This TV movie has a great cast, but almost none of them showed up to the premiere. No Jon Hamm, no Eva Mendes, etc. But Kate was there, and she wore this Balmain Resort 2014 mini-dress. And no, your eyes are not fooling you ? the dress is DENIM. Not just denim, but denim patchwork!!! But it?s not like it?s some hippie-dippy denim dress, it?s like Balmain is trying to making denim patchwork into some high-concept, rich-looking dress. Did they succeed? I do not think so. Plus, the dress barely covers her butt.
While I was going through these premiere photos, I noticed this closeup of her ring ? look at this thing!!
Is that the engagement ring Matt Bellamy gave her? If so, kudos to you, Bellamy. That?s an amazing ring. I would marry the guy who offered me that ring, no problem. Of course, she might have just borrowed a fabulous ring for the premiere.
I?m also including some photos of Kate and her boys arriving at LAX a few days ago. Ryder finally got a haircut, and I swear he looks so much like his dad Chris Robinson. Bing Bellamy is still a baby/toddler so I can?t really see anything but mega-blonde hair. Kate Hudson only makes blonde babies. Also: her jeans are tragic. What is with Kate and all of the denim?

Touching down in Los Angeles after a mid-day flight, Kate Hudson departed LAX Airport with her hubby Matt Bellamy and their sons Bingham and Ryder.
The ?Bride Wars? actress looked lovely in jeans and a white tank as she helped her family get into their awaiting ride.
In career news, Miss Hudson is continuing her partnership with women?s clothing store Ann Taylor.
Though she?s a busy mom, Kate told WWD, ?It?s a little bit about how I live and a lot about how women live every day. As working moms, we?re all just figuring it out as we go, right? But if I were to offer my advice, I?d say, Try to be present. When you?re at your job, be 100 percent committed to it and do the very best you can. And when you go home at night, leave all the work behind and show up completely for your family. That?s the best part of your day, so really be there.?
The blonde beauty?s new campaign debuts in September magazines including Vogue, Elle, InStyle, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan and People StyleWatch.

Hard at work on one of her latest projects, Kate Hudson shot scenes for her flick "Good People" in London, England on Tuesday (July 9).
Looking casually chic, the 34-year-old actress rocked skinny jeans, a leather jacket and fringe boots as she made her way around the set with fellow co-star Anna Friel.
Although Kate was busy with her work duties, her beau Matthew Bellamy still made sure to squeeze in a bit of family time.
Giving her adorable son Bingham a first hand behind-the-scenes look, the proud papa brought their little one to enjoy a day on set with mom!

Here are some photos of the inaugural Novak Djokovic Foundation gala in London last night. A handful celebrities showed up for the event, but let’s start with Kate Hudson in this high-low hemline Elie Saab dress in flowing chiffon. I can’t really ascertain the true color of this dress. Most outlets are going with chocolate brown, but it looks very drab and duck-grey to me, and the long train is so mullet-y. Seriously, was there a wind machine on the green carpet?
This dress does nothing for Kate’s figure at all, and although the beaded embellishments are very Elie Saab, I’d have preferred to see something more body-hugging on Kate’s fantastic figure. Kate’s pointed stilettos are by Christian Loubouton, and her hair and makeup look both youthful and refreshing. I just think this dress is a wasted opportunity for Kate to shine as one of the biggest names at this event.
Naomi Campbell wore a black, multi-tiered Azzedine Alaia dress that made her lower body look like an upside-down lampshade. From the waist up, she looks fantastic.
Gerard Butler was in the house and probably vastly disappointed to find no sexy porta potties on the premises. Did you see those selfies he took with Bradley Cooper at Wimbledon? Those were adorable. Here, Gerard looks like he’s sporting a rug on his head.
Goldie Hawn was there too, and I’m pretty sure she was wasted by the looks of things. I probably shouldn’t say that — perhaps she was just her usual, bubbly Goldie self. I actually like this dress a lot, but don’t ask me why she’s making this weird expression with her lips in the close up photo below.
Jeremy Piven looks like the ultimate perv here. Is he serious with this moustache?
Sarah Ferguson was in attendance as well. The Mail says that the Butler was chatting her up like crazy at this event. Oh nooooo.

Stylish in a loose, brightly-colored sundress, the ?Something Borrowed? sweetie and her Muse beau posed for pictures and signed autographs for fans before grabbing a bite to eat at Dal Bolognese.
In career news, the daughter of Goldie Hawn has been busy filming her next motion picture, ?Good People,? alongside James Franco in London.
Directed by Henrik Ruben Genz, the thriller follows a couple who find a stash of money in their dead tenants apartment and become the target of a deadly adversary.
?Good People? is slated to hit theaters nationwide early next year.

Decked out in jeans, boots and a bohemian style blouse, the "Bride Wars" beauty chatted on her phone between takes for the upcoming drama.
Also starring James Franco, the Henrik Ruben Genz directed film is officially described as follows: discovering a cache of cash in their dead tenant's apt, a couple in debt take the money and find themselves the target of a deadly adversary-the thief who stole it.
Fans can check out Kate and James in "Good People" when it hits theaters early next year.

Hard at work on their new project, Kate Hudson and James Franco showed up on the set of ?Good People? in London, England today (July 2).
The ?How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days? starlet and the ?This Is The End? heartthrob looked to be enjoying the scene they were shooting at an outdoor park location, and joked with each other in between takes.
Meanwhile, Kate is featured on the cast of a new HBO original movie called ?Clear History? from writer/actor/producer Larry David.
Also starring Jon Hamm, Eva Mendes, Bill Hader, Danny McBride, Michael Keaton, and Amy Ryan, ?Clear History? is about ?a former marketing executive at a start-up electric car company who ends up publicly humiliated for leaving behind the billion dollar idea, and ultimately gets a second chance for revenge against his boss (Hamm) under a new identity.?
It hits HBO on August 10th.

Adding another film to her already-impressive resume, Kate Hudson has joined the cast for Zach Braff's indie film, "Wish I Was Here."
The flick centers around Aidan Bloom, played by Braff, a struggling actor, father and husband who at 35 is still trying to find purpose for his life.
Hudson will play Zach's wife in the movie and will be joined by other cast members Mandy Patinkin and Josh Ga.
Though there is no release date scheduled at this time, Stacey Sher and Michael Shamberg will be producing through Double Feature Films.
