I know there is going to be a lot of fighting over this one, but I just want to say at the beginning that I don?t hate it. Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy have released the name of their newborn son, who Kate gave birth to on Saturday. The name? Bingham Hawn Bellamy. ?Hawn? for Kate?s mom, Goldie Hawn, I?m just taking a wild guess. Kate did that with Ryder too - Ryder?s middle name is Russell, after Kurt Russell, Kate?s stepfather and the man who raised her since she was very, very young. Screw you guys, I think ?Bingham Hawn? is SO CUTE.

Oh noes! Kate Hudson wanted a girl so badly!! Kate?s rep is confirming that Kate Hudson gave birth to a healthy baby boy last night, in LA. Is anyone else surprised that she was due so soon? I thought she had another couple of months left. I?m also surprised that she didn?t gain more weight - when she was pregnant with Ryder, I remember how she got very heavy (and cute, I liked seeing her like that). Anyway, she and Matt Bellamy haven?t released the name yet.
Kate Hudson and fiance Matt Bellamy have a brand-new muse: Their first baby together! The Oscar-nominated actress, 32, gave birth to a “healthy baby boy” in Los Angeles on Saturday night, her rep confirms to Us Weekly.
The little guy joins big brother Ryder, Hudson’s 7-year-old son with ex-husband Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes. Us Weekly was first to break news of Hudson’s second pregnancy in January 2011. She and the Muse frontman Bellamy, 33, debuted their romance in late spring 2010; they reportedly met years ago in Australia.
“He’s lovely,” Hudson (whose mom is actress Goldie Hawn) told Elle UK back in September. After confirming her pregnancy in late January, she admitted that life was a little more chaotic with another baby on board. “I babble a lot. I forget words. And how to put sentences together,” Hudson laughs. “I just give up.”
“This is a totally different pregnancy, completely,” Hudson said in April. “It couldn’t be more opposite…With Ryder, I didn’t even have a nursery. I didn’t really have a house until I was seven months pregnant.”
Nabbing a Grammy in L.A. in February, British rocker Bellamy couldn’t help but give his love a shout-out, thanking his “beautiful pregnant girlfriend,” who watched proudly in the audience. Hudson initially poo-pood talk of getting married again. “I don’t feel it necessary to get married,” she said on British chat show The Graham Norton Show. “I already have one child, and have had one divorce, so it is not necessarily the golden ticket. I just want to be happy.”
She clearly changed her mind — debuting a huge engagement ring (worth an estimated $200,000) and announcing her engagement to millions of viewers on The Today Show April 27. “I haven’t really announced it, I was waiting for someone to notice,” the Something Borrowed actress told Matt Lauer.
Famous pals like Courteney Cox, Nicole Richie and Rachel Zoe feted the mom-to-be at a casual, family-friendly baby shower held June 5 at a private home in Malibu.
Time will tell if Hudson and Bellamy will add another to their brood — but Hudson is ready to sign up! “I love being pregnant,” she told Marie Claire last month. “Gosh, I could be pregnant all the time.”
For now, Hudson, Bellamy and the baby are expected to spend time together at Bellamy’s home in London while he records a new album, according to one source. “She’s crazy about him…Kate and Matt are so adorable together.” Adds another insider, “she’s a great mom.”

Congratulations to Kate and Matt! Do you think they?ll end getting married, or will they just be ?engaged? until one day they?re over? It?s hard to tell? Kate doesn?t seem to care either way, but Matt has surprised me with how thrilled he is to be with Kate, so maybe he?ll be the one to force the marriage issue. With her due date rapidly approaching, Kate Hudsonn enjoyed a baby shower thrown for her in Malibu, CA on Sunday (June 6).
The ?Something Borrowed? babe was the guest of honor at an afternoon bash with over 80 guests in attendance at a private home.
Kate and fiance, Matthew Bellamy, don?t know the sex of their baby yet and received gender neutral items, according to one of the guests at the shower.
Some of our favorite celebs were there to celebrate Hudson?s bundle of joy including Rachel Zoe, Courteney Cox, Jessica Capshaw and Jennifer Meyer Maguire.

Not letting her growing baby bump slow her down, Kate Hudson joined fiance Matthew Bellamy in attending a benefit dinner for the Natural Resources Defense Council's Ocean Initiative in Malibu, California on Saturday evening (June 4).
The Chanel hosted fundraiser was held at the home of Ron & Kelly Meyer, with stars such as Drew Barrymore, Courteney Cox and Bryce Dallas Howard also in attendance.
As for the cause, the NRDC is described as "the nation?s most effective environmental action group, combining the grassroots power of 1.3 million members and online activists with the courtroom clout and expertise of more than 350 lawyers, scientists and other professionals."
Rounding out the star-laden attendee list were former "Heroes" actress Ali Larter, Camila Alves, Chris O'Donnell, Diane Lane and Barbara Steisand.

These are some new photos of Kate Hudson and her fianc and baby-daddy Matthew Bellamy out and about in LA yesterday. They were actually at a baseball field, watching Ryder play with his team. Lots of people have been noting that Bellamy seems to have put on some ?sympathy weight? during Kate?s pregnancy. I kind of love when that happens - I think it?s shows that the soon-to-be mom and dad are totally bonded. Probably because I associate food with love? Yeah. Anyway, you can kind of see that Bellamy is working a gut here. And Kate is pretty big too - doesn?t it seem like she got really pregnant really fast? But she?s carrying much differently now than she did with Ryder. Do you remember what she looked like during her first pregnancy? It all went to her face, I swear. It was awesome.
In other Kate-and-Matt news, Star Magazine has a story that I don?t think much of. They?re claiming that Matt and Kate are in the midst of a huge battle over money. More specifically, over the pre-nup that Kate?s demanding. The source says:
?Kate and Matt are clashing over money issues? and it may destroy any chance they have of getting married. Their relationship was in a much healthier place before her put a ring on her finger.?
Kate is insisting on a pre-nup because she has more money than Matthew, and the proposed agreement is tougher on him than her.
?He would be on a payment plan of sorts, where he is allotted a certain amount of money annually? and if he cheats, he will lose everything, but if she cheats, no harm, no foul. The fighting over the pre-nup has soured the experience? they may not get married at all. They may just stay engaged, or even split up.?

I don?t believe this because I don?t really think Kate gives a crap about money in general. I mean, she cares about buying things and working and stuff, but she?s not one of those people who prioritize the big paychecks. Now, is it possible that they?re fighting? Sure. Is it possible that Kate thinks it would be no big deal if she cheated on Matt? Sure. But it?s just as likely, in my mind, that they are totally loved up and blissed out right now.

Enjoying some quality time outdoors, Kate Hudson and Matthew Bellamy were spotted at a baseball field in Malibu, California yesterday (June 2).
The ?How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days? actress and her rockstar fianc watched closely as Kate?s son Ryder participated in a baseball game.
Ms. Hudson looked extremely pregnant and possibly uncomfortable as she repeatedly cradled her back while strolling around the grounds.
Kate?s pregnancy has been tough from the beginning. She explained, ?I was so sick the first trimester that every time I tried to read, I couldn?t concentrate. So I started brainlessly watching TV in the fetal position on my couch. It was brutal. I only just started getting a bigger appetite. I?m eating, but I like healthy foods in this [pregnancy].?

Her baby bump is growing quite rapidly, and Kate Hudson was spotted clad in cute maternity get-up on Wednesday (June 1) in Brentwood, CA.
Joined by her fiance/baby daddy, Matthew Bellamy, the ?Something Borrowed? beauty looked gorgeous per usual as the lovely couple grabbed up breakfast at the Brentwood Country Mart to kickstart the day.
Making the tough yet responsible decision, Bellamy recently gave up his song-writing duties and handed them over to his ?Muse? band mate, Chris Wolstenholme, while he preps for his child's arrival.
Of his new duty, Chris told The Sun, ?Matt's raised the bar quite high in terms of song-writing. I'm a bit nervous because I don't want to write a song and have it be responsible for the demise of the band.?

While most women can?t wait for the day their baby pops out, Kate Hudson says she loves being pregnant and ?could be pregnant all the time.?
Sitting down with Marie Claire alongside Ginnifer Goodwin for their June issue, the ?Something Borrowed? actress also revealed that she can?t wait to have another one.
This is Kate?s second pregnancy as she has a seven-year-old son, Ryder, with ex-husband Chris Robinson. "Kate is happy for Ryder to finally have a brother or sister," says a friend.
Hudson is now engaged to Muse frontman, Matt Bellamy, and their little bundle of joy is due this summer.

Here is the cover for the June issue of Marie Claire, starring Kate Hudson and Ginnifer Goodwin. They star in Something Borrowed, that rom-com that already came out (and died quickly, right?). So? this feels kind of dated. Not just because the movie is already out, but because it also appears that Ginnifer and Kate shot this cover a long time before Kate began showing. I don?t even want to talk about Kate right now - her face looks wonky - but look at Ginnifer! That?s one way to come out of rom-com/nice-girl purgatory, right? Chop off most of your hair and tease that junk up until you show everyone that you?re more Ziggy Stardust than Julia Roberts. Ginnifer is so punk. I kind of love it. Anyway, Marie Claire hasn?t released anything from the article, but I did find some good quotes from Ginnifer from another interview she did. Here are some highlights:
Ginnifer on typecasting: “I have done my share of stock characters.?
On Kate: “We really do get along like gangbusters in real life.”
On Big Love: “I loved digging my elbows deep into the character over a period of time,” she says of the series, “instead of doing something in an hour-and-a-half movie.”
Hoping to do another television show, Once Upon a Time: “I pray to the TV gods every day that we will be picked up,” she says of the quirky drama co-created by Adam Horowitz, one of the writers from the hit series Lost. Is Once Upon a Time just as bizarre as Lost? “They are being so top secret about it, I can’t say,” Goodwin confesses. “I will say it does have a Lost flavour to it.”
On being grounded: “In this business, we all have aspirations that are highfalutin,” she says. “But I have no regrets, because I am insanely lucky I get to make a living as an actor every single day.”

See? Ginnifer is pretty cool. I wish she got more work, and I wish that the work was something other than rom-coms and television shows. Maybe her strength is in television, though, in which case, I hope her show does get picked up.

This story is in Star Magazine, so it could be a pile of hooey, or it could be a valid scoop. Either way, it’s only slightly damning in that it makes it sound like Kate Hudson’s fiance and soon-to-be-born baby’s father, Muse Singer Matthew Bellamy, was promiscuous. At least he allegedly was until he hooked up with Kate. Right before Bellamy met the lackluster romcom actress, he is said to have had a three day fling with a groupie in which they didn’t use protection and the young girl fell pregnant. (I love the British way of phrasing that, as if it was a little accident.) The poor girl tried to contact Matt and was unable to, and ultimately lost the baby.
Star Mag - A lady who slept with Muse singer Matthew Bellamy right before he hooked up with Kate Hudson says Matt betrayed her. Sophia Bloxam claims that she met Matt via MySpace (?!?!) and they had an intense email relationship. Finally, she saw him in the flesh at a show, after which the twosome “shacked up” in a hotel for a “two-night, three-day sex marathon. Sophia says they had unprotected sex at least eight times, and that Matt knew she was not on birth control, but was “fine with that.” Later he texted her, “There is a good chance you could be pregnant, as we used no contraception.” She texted back that everything would be fine, and that whatever the outcome was “we would be ok.” WTF does that mean? She wanted to get knocked up? Anyway. Sophia found out she was pregs and tried to call and text Matt, who refused to return her messages. She wanted to see him at Cochella and tell him the news in person, but felt too ill. Later she found out that he met Kate Hudson at Coachella. Soon after that, Sophia suffered a miscarriage. It doesn’t seem like Sophia and Matt were dating ?- sounds more like a one-night-stand gone cuckoo, but Sophia warns Kate: “He has an issue with fidelity.”

You know, it could be true that someone told this to Star. Muse is huge and Bellamy probably has some really delusional fans. I’m not saying that it’s not possible that a rock star had unprotected sex with a fan he met online. (Although the MySpace part is ridic.) It surely happens constantly. It’s just that this story is too convenient in that the girl miscarried and that she never got to contact the rock star again. Plus how did he anticipate that she could be pregnant? I know they weren’t using protection, but it sounds too contrived. It reads like fan fiction, especially since it’s coming out well into Kate Hudson’s pregnancy and not earlier.
