They're living proof that men and women can be just friends, and Sandra Bullock surprised her pal Ryan Reynolds at last night?s premiere of ?The Change-Up.?
The ?Blind Side? babe showed up to support her "The Proposal" co-star, as the pair shared a friendly hug and kiss on the cheek on the red carpet upon the Oscar-winning actress' arrival.
After saying hello to Reynolds, Bullock skipped the rest of the press area and headed inside the theater.
The duo, who co-starred in the hilarious romantic comedy ?The Proposal? back in 2009, have kept up a dear friendship and have attended events together in the past.

Ryan Reynolds was on The Tonight Show last night promoting The Change Up, which is one of those body switching movies about a single guy (Reynolds) changing places with a married guy (Jason Bateman). It looks dumb and predictable, and it’s written by the guys who brought us the Hangover movies. The director, David Dobkin, did Wedding Crashers and Fred Claus so it’s not like this is going to be groundbreaking or particularly funny, but I could be wrong.
During his interview Ryan told so many funny self deprecating stories. (You can watch it on NBC.com if you’re in the US.) It’s been a while since I’ve seen an interview with him, and he was just so entertaining. First he talked about how he had some trials and tribulations while filming The Change Up in Atlanta. His first trailer caught fire, his second trailer flooded, his hotel room flooded, then he very quickly glossed over the detail that he split up with then-wife Scarlet Johansson at the time. It was clever the way he rattled it off. “It snowballed. My hotel room flooded, my dog got sick, came down with a slight case of divorce and I broke my pinky finger.” He said it like that very quickly as if it were his dog that got divorced and not him.
He told another story about how he got hit by a drunk driver and sent to the hospital with broken bones when he was 19 - after he had decided to walk home from the bar instead of driving. (He was in Canada at the time, where the “drinking age is six,” he explained.) Then we heard about how he jumped off a bridge in Zurich and broke a vertebrae in his back. His friend jumped, but “I dove, because I’m clinically dumb.”
The best anecdote from Ryan was about how Olivia Wilde’s pasties came off during a sex scene he was filming with her.
“In the scene I take her top off… She has these pasties, but she’s drawn these adorable little smiley faces on them. And I forget every line in the scene… I’m nervous… At some point at the end of the scene she takes my hands and puts them on her breasts. So they’re there, palms are a little sweaty. At the end of the scene I take them off. I’m trying not to look at her like a 14 year-old boy who just won the lady lottery.
“I take my hands away and I look down at my hands and there’s two frickin’ smiley faces. I have no idea what to do, so the scene is over now. I reflexively like an idiot just put my hands back on her breasts. I think I’m doing it like to cover them up, but I’m realizing right now it’s a very fine line between chivalry and workplace sexual assault. Thank God someone comes in with a towel.”
The dude is a natural entertainer that’s for sure. He surely practiced all those stories but he came prepared and his delivery was excellent.
At the premiere for the movie last night, Ryan’s maybe ex-hookup and good friend Sandra Bullock came to support him. (She also could have been there for a producer named Jonathon Komack Martin, who works on The George Lopez show, which she also producers.) The two looked very comfortable together and happy to see each other. Bullock wore a black jumpsuit. I’m not a fan of that look for her, particularly the boob ruffle, but at least the pants aren’t baggy as we’ve seen with so many other jumpsuits lately. The shoes are gorgeous and understated too. Her hair and makeup were so pretty.
Olivia Wilde wore this red Antonio Berardi dress with pointy shoulder pads. The dress itself is bizarre but not that bad. The bright red shoes have got to go. This isn’t a wedding or a prom, you don’t need to match your shoes to your dress! Plus the color is off. She’s cute though. Kaiser wants me to mention the bangs trauma. I’m not a bangs fan either but it’s a decent look for her.
And Leslie Mann wore this gladiator-style white dress with a matching braided belt. Why are sparkly shoulders so popular? At least this isn’t as bad as the dress Anna Paquin wore to the 2010 Emmys. I’m always reminded of that dress when I see this style.
Oh and I can’t forget Jason Bateman!

Here’s Ryan Reynolds in Madrid promoting Green Lantern along with costar Peter Sarsgaard, who looks completely over it. Green Lantern was out in the US last month to somewhat disappointing box office. (Box office mojo has it with the largest second weekend decline for a superhero film this year.) The film also got negative reviews. It had a budget of $200 million and has so far made $131 million but it’s yet to be released in some parts of Europe, hence this promotional tour. There are always DVD sales.
Anyway Ryan looked hot but a little cooked in this white beige suit. He’s too orange-y with the bronzer against that light color. Plus that shiny blue shirt is just ridiculous. But it’s Ryan Reynolds and you know he’s working a tight ass underneath those pants, which fit him very nicely. Then you scroll down and see his dark brown shoes and wonder if he didn’t bring enough shoes with him on this trip. That outfit needs some white loafers.
We last heard that Ryan was getting busy with Charlize Theron. I doubt it’s serious or will last for them, but they sound hot together. They’re both so pretty.

Arriving ahead of his presenter duties, Ryan Reynolds was spotted at the 2011 ESPY Awards in Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday (July 13).
The ?Green Lantern? hunk looked dapper upon arrival, posing for pictures alongside fellow actor Jason Bateman while showing off his oh-so-suave style before inside the Nokia Theater.
Aside from his ESPY appearance, Mr Reynolds met up with ex-wife, Scarlett Johansson, for a rather friendly post-divorce dinner at L.A.?s Little Dom?s restaurant over the past weekend.
After calling it quits following nearly 3 years of marriage, it?s nice to see the couple on friendly terms - despite the fact that it has been rumored that Ryan has his eyes on actress Charlize Theron as of late.

He took his divorce from Scarlett Johansson especially hard, but now it seems Ryan Reynolds is ready to love again.
According to a report from Us Weekly, the ?Green Lantern? guy has been spending plenty of time with Charlize Theron as of late, and they?re excited to have begun a romantic relationship.
An insider told press, ?Ryan and Charlize have been dating for months. They?re exclusive and it?s very hush-hush.?
And it sounds like Reynolds and Theron are well-matched. A pal shared, "They're both career-focused, but not in a crazy way."
Last month, Ryan?s motorcycle was spotted outside Charlize?s home, sparking rumors that something could be going on between them. And it looks like there is after all.

Gearing up for some holiday weekend travel, Ryan Reynolds was spotted at LAX International Airport yesterday (June 30).
The ?Van Wilder? stud looked a bit annoyed at the swarming shutterbugs as he carried his backpack through the terminal.
In a recent interview, Reynolds talked about connecting with his Irish roots with trips to the Emerald Isle.
?Yes. I?ve been to Dublin and Galway. My brother and I just toured around there for a while. We have relatives there, whom we completely avoided.?

A few weeks ago, back when Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were actually promoting The Green Lantern, Page Six had an interesting little item about Blake and Ryan and Leo DiCaprio all going out to dinner together. Blake?s current squeeze and her maybe-ex squeeze? Eh. Some people say that Blake was trying to get on Ryan when they filmed The Green Lantern. I don?t know if she was, but I do tend to think Blake has always set her gaze on bigger prizes than Ryan Reynolds. Anyway, In Touch Weekly has a story about Leo getting super-jealous of Blake?s relationship with Ryan, and how much time they spent together during Green Lantern promotions?
Blake Lively seems to be growing closer and closer to her Green Lantern costar Ryan Reynolds - and who can blame her? Well, her new boyfriend, Leonardo DiCaprio, can - and is! Though the movie itself wrapped a while ago, now that Blake and Ryan are doing press -a nd are both out of the long-term relationships they were in while filming - things have changed.
?They had some chemistry, but they controlled it since Ryan was married at the time they were working on the movie,? a friend says. ?Now they seem to be having a great time together. Even Leo has noticed it, and that?s why he?s not particularly happy. Even though the relationship is relatively new, he has a lot stronger feelings for Blake than people realize.?

Now, I wouldn?t put it past Blake to USE Ryan to make Leo jealous, but as for the idea that Leo might have some competition for Blake?s affection?? Please. Blake knows what she?s doing. She might not be a passable actress, but the girl knows how to play the game. Although? I have to admit, it would be amazing to see Blake Lively try to break Leonardo DiCaprio?s heart. But who could Blake go to after Leo? Who would be a worthy jumpoff? Certainly not Ryan!

Ryan Reynolds was on Conan Thursday to promote Green Lantern (which is obviously poised to be number one at the box office come Monday). He told Conando that he wasn’t always so ridiculously good looking. At least not to women. Ugh. Another one of those I didn’t used to always be good looking stories.
“Up until I was like 18, I looked like a Vietnamese girl,” said Ryan. Unfamiliar with that stereotype, I looked up “Vietnamese girl” on Google image search and, except for a couple of pictures, he sounded pretty hot. I bet all the guys wanted to do him. Especially his principal who he described as looking “like an online predator who lost his computer.”
Ryan also admitted to accidentally falling on a girl he liked during volleyball practice just to get close to her. “And just a few years later, that’s illegal. That’s straight up inappropriate.” Wait, what? *Gets up off girl on the ground, pulls up gym shorts, runs away*
He also admitted to being suspended and ultimately expelled. He smirked, “As though sitting at home all day masturbating to Spanish soap operas is supposed to teach me a lesson.” Wow, Ryan Reynolds. He’s just like us! Or like me yesterday afternoon at least.

Taking over Grauman?s Chinese Theatre, ?The Green Lantern? held its Los Angeles premiere earlier tonight (June 15).
The film?s stars Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively both made it out for the affair and looked fabulous as they greeted fans and press.
With the lovely Angela Bassett also on hand, Reynolds explained what sets ?Lantern? apart from other films that have come out of the booming superhero genre.
?A lot of the current iterations of superheroes are a little bit darker and more serious in tone. The thing I distilled from diving into that mythology and that universe is that there's a tone that's different.?
Ryan continued, ?He's not overly funny, but he's witty. I always say he's that guy who can throw a punch, tell a joke and kiss the girl. It was mostly just finding out who Hal Jordan was and also distilling what it is that the fanboys love about him and making sure that that can be found up on screen because if they love it there's a good chance that a broader audience will love it."
