Stepping out for a swanky evening, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were spotted presenting an award together at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards this evening (June 5).
The ?Van Wilder? stud and the ?Gossip Girl? gal looked fabulous as they worked the podium, both dressed to the nines and playing off of each other as they handed the golden popcorn trophy to Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.
Ryan and Blake?s superhero film ?The Green Lantern? is scheduled to hit theaters nationwide on June 17th.
The 2011 MTV Movie Awards is hosted by Jason Sudeikis and features performances by Lupe Fiasco and Foo Fighters.

In a new interview with Details Magazine that we covered yesterday, Ryan Reynolds sort-of admitted that he was having trouble after his divorce from Scarlett Johansson. He only spoke about it in the abstract and tried to make it sound like his divorce was amicable and that he and Scarlett were still on good terms, however. Ryan also said that he was single, and that he had “no interest in dating right now… I?ve been in relationships pretty much since high school.” He added that he was “very happy not to be in a relationship right now. That?s okay. I didn?t plan on it, that?s for sure… but that?s okay.” So as some of you pointed out, it sounded like the divorce wasn’t his idea but that he wasn’t rushing to find another girlfriend right away.
That doesn’t mean that Ryan hasn’t been seeing other women. He was spotted out with a 25 year-old German model named Agnes Fischer in March, and she even got a “five things you don’t know about” profile in People. Star Magazine claims that just a month prior he was seeing his co-star and romantic interest in the film he was working out down in South Africa, Safe House.
Star has hotel security camera captures of Ryan and his costar, 22 year-old Nora Arnezeder, hugging and holding hands while headed to his room on four different dates in February. The photos were kind of romantic, actually, and in one Ryan is kissing Nora’s hand like a gentleman that’s grateful he’s about to get laid. Nora left the shoot by March, which is when Ryan hooked up with Agnes. Then a month later in April he hooked up with a different model from South Africa. He’s been keeping busy that’s for sure.
“Ryan was shameless about all those girls,” dishes a staffer at the five star Cape Grace hotel [in Cape Town, South Africa], where Ryan stayed while shooting the thriller Safe House earlier this year. “They clung to him as if he was their dream guy. I guess none of them knew about the others.”
The first beauty Ryan, 34, entertained… was French starlet Nora Arnezeder, 22, who plays his romantic interest in Safe House. Soon after the shoot began, she was caught accompanying him to his room at night.
But once Nora’s filming schedule ended in March, Ryan began stepping out with Agnes Fischer, 25, a German lingerie model…
After Agnes, Ryan - whose only promising post-split relationship has been with pal Sandra Bullock - quickly moved on to South African model Alyssa Fischer, 24. But she now plays down their connection. “I met him and his buddies one night, that’s all,” she told Star, adding “I don’t want to talk about it.”
A source tells Star that in fact Alyssa visited Ryan’s room on April 15, 25 and 29.

This story endeared me to Ryan actually. The photos of him with his costar were really sweet. I don’t see anything wrong with the guy dating different women post divorce. He’s obviously keeping his options open and isn’t trying to jump into another relationship right away. I get the sense that he wants too though. He’s dating one woman a month from what this story claims, not several in the same week. In that Details interview it sounded like he was fighting his natural urge to find a longterm girlfriend. There are guys who are more comfortable in a relationship and Ryan strikes me as that type. He can play the field for as long as he wants to though that’s for sure. There are plenty of women who would jump at the chance. I’m just glad that Blake Lively never got her mits into him. Or did she?

Here’s some more evidence that Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds are more than just “friends” who happened to spend New Year’s Eve together. Radar Online reports that they’ve been trying to keep a low profile and have been holing up together at a home Bullock owns in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. First of all, how romantic, and second - how incredible must it be to own homes around the world? From what I can find, Sandra also has homes in New Orleans, Austin, TX, and Tybee Island, GA.

The Proposal co-stars were very publicly spotted on New Year’s Eve at the restaurant Sandra owns in Austin, Texas. They’ve denied they’re dating, but a source with knowledge of the situation tells us exclusively that the two “are very much dating, and trying to keep a low profile.”
Fresh off her divorce from Jesse James and his surprise split from wife Scarlett Johansson, Sandra and Ryan are understandably media shy, which makes her Jackson Hole house a perfect getaway.
Sandy has owned her Wyoming home for a number of years, and loves that she’s left alone there. “She feels very comfortable having Ryan there with her,” the source told RadarOnline.com.
“Sandy and Ryan are just enjoying spending time together. They have known each other for years and they have a built-in familiarity.
“It’s great to see Sandy with a true smile on her face. Ryan has made at least two trips to Jackson Hole during the holidays, and her friends expect more to come.”

I know Ryan has a reputation for being an entitled ass, but he doesn’t have a reputation for cheating on his girlfriends. Plus I truly believe he has grown up recently. He seems like he’s loyal and commitment-minded, and Sandra needs that right now. She likes guys with an edge, and if she’s found one that’s a good match for her, I’m happy for her. I don’t think Ryan is a great guy by any stretch, but he’s not as awful as her ex and she probably knows what she’s getting into with Ryan. She’s been friends with Ryan for years and that really counts for something.

You didn’t really think the greatest actor of our generation would stay single for long, did you? Hello! You saw Blade: Trinity, right? Star Magazine says:
Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock ushered in 2011 together… [and] the pair are dating!
Ryan, 34, and Sandra, 46, were spotted dining at her Austin, Tex., restaurant Bess Bistro on New Year’s Eve. They reportedly danced the night away and left together at 2 am.
Ryan has been leaning on Sandra since his marriage to Scarlett Johansson started falling apart on Dec. 23. Sandra’s marriage to Jesse James crumbled in early 2010 after she adopted baby Louis.
I don’t know about you or Sandra, but Ryan Reynolds had me at “cock-juggling thundercunt” and “sugar-frosted fuck off the end of my dick.” Everything else is just gravy.

It took about a week after Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson?s separation announcement for the tabloids to begin pushing stories about Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock. Bullock was friends with both Ryan and ScarJo - in fact, Ryan and ScarJo were supposed to be pretty close to Jesse James too, and when the couples were partnered up, it?s said that they all spent time together. Anyway, I have no idea why the tabloids are making it seem like Sandra is more ?Team Reynolds? when she hasn?t issued one word or pushed any story about her friends. Perhaps the tabloids just the like idea of Sandra with Ryan? although I can?t think why. It seems like a horrible pairing. Or maybe Sandy is Team Reynolds? because ScarJo fooled around Ryan?? We?ll probably never know.
Anyway, PopEater has another story trying to make Sandy & Ryan happen. This actually makes it seem like they?re close to doing it:
Sandra Bullock has been spending a lot of time with Scarlett Johansson’s soon-to-be ex-husband, Ryan Reynolds, leaving many to wonder if the two are romantically involved.
“Sandra loves Ryan,” a friend of Ryan’s tells me. “They became very good friends when they filmed ‘The Proposal,’ but they are not a couple, at least not yet.”
For now, “They love spending quality time together.”
Adding fuel to the rumors, the two celebrated New Year’s together at Bess Bistro, which Sandra owns in Texas. New photographs show them sitting next to each other with three other friends — with Sandra dressed as a flapper.
“They are both newly single and leaning on each other for support,” an insider tells me. “Who knows what will happen in the future, but any rumors of them being together and splitting up Ryan’s marriage to Scarlett are false.”
My source adds: “Sandra would never get involved with a married man after what her ex did to her. She has way too much respect for Scarlett, Ryan, the institution of marriage and herself to do that.”

I?ll buy that Sandra is the only one with a healthy respect for the institution of marriage. I think she took her vows seriously, and I think she was faithful to Jesse, and that she was devastated when her marriage fell apart. Not so much for ScarJo and Ryan. But this gives me a chance to reprint the old People Magazine interview from last year where Ryan and Sandra are climbing up each other?s asses about how their marriages are so great:
People Mag: You and Jesse and Scarlett are all close. Why do you get along so well?
Reynolds: [To Bullock] I love that your marriage ? and forgive the ineloquence here ? is not for sale.
Bullock: We?re very similar in that way. There?s an honor and a level of integrity that exists in their home that I really admire ? [To Reynolds] I?m just happy you found a good human being. They both take excellent care of each other and they?re honorable, beautiful people.

Very interesting? on Thursday, December 23rd, Ryan Reynolds officially filed for divorce from Scarlett Johansson. TMZ reports that Ryan and ScarJo coordinated the filing so that Ryan ?went first? and ScarJo ?responded? to the filing at the same time. So? even though (my opinion) Ryan has been whining like a baby to whomever will listen about how ScarJo is a horrible, immature, self-absorbed, frigid monster, they are still on good enough terms to coordinate the end of their marriage. Almost as if ScarJo just wants to get the hell out, and she doesn?t care if she looks like the bad guy?

Scarlett’s response to Ryan’s petition was filed at the same time — a strong indication the two of them coordinated the court filings.
Neither party is asking for spousal support. Sources tell TMZ there is no prenup, and Ryan made more money than Scarlett during their 2-year marriage.
Ryan lists the date of separation as December 14, 2010. Scarlett agrees on the date.
Since everything they earned is community property, presumably it will be divided 50/50, though the petitions say property rights are yet to be determined.
Although the divorce is friendly, they aren’t taking any chances. Ryan has hired disso-queen Laura Wasser, and Scarlett has retained Lynn Soodik.

Just a few weeks after their separation was announced, Ryan Reynolds has begun the process of officially ending his two-year marriage to Scarlett Johansson.
The actor, 34, filed for divorce from Johansson, 26, Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court. A source told PEOPLE recently that the couple grew apart under the strain of managing two thriving careers.
They were married in a private ceremony in Canada in 2008.

People Magazine and Us Weekly have taken suspiciously pro-Ryan stances in their reporting, which is definitely a head-scratcher. My take is still that Ryan is pushing a version of the story in which ScarJo is the villain and Ryan is the poor, defenseless nice guy who just wanted babies and a wife who gave up her career to be at his beck and call. You?ve got to wonder why he?s pushing that version so hard? is it because ScarJo was screwing around (with Liev Schreiber and God knows who)? Or is it because Ryan got dumped for good reasons, but ScarJo doesn?t care enough to make those reasons public? Or a little from Column A, a little from Column B??

Using his celebrity for a good cause, Ryan Reynolds is speaking out to help raise awareness of the tragic Gulf oil spill.
The ?Van Wilder? stud teamed up with the National Resources Defense Committee to film a Public Service Announcement pleading with Americans to look for alternative energy sources.
In the spot, Reynolds states, "What we're doing is literally the same thing cavemen did. We set things on fire to produce energy. There are so many viable alternatives."
Ryan continued, "I see this whole thing as a wake-up call, a chance to shift to cleaner energy and build a greener economy."

Scarlett Johannson and Ryan Reynolds have more than just a two-year wedding anniversary (in September) to celebrate: they’ve also got a deluxe new love nest!
The Hollywood couple recently purchased a two-bedroom, three-bath house in the L.A. area. Recently listed at approximately $2.8 million, the property features chic, mid-century design, a swimming pool and stunning vista views.
Reps for both actors had no comment.

What did Blake Lively wearing to Comic-Con? Satin harem pants and a blouse that shows off most of her breasts, of course. The nerds are definitely going to be seeing The Green Lantern now. Sure, they were excited about seeing it before, but now they know that Blake?s amazing (purchased?) boobs will be heavily featured. Ryan Reynolds looks okay too, I guess. Is it just me, or does his skin always look funky in candid photos? I think he fake-bakes, and it looks especially weird on him. Plus, he was making a lot of dorky faces, probably trying to fit in with the nerds.
Ryan Reynolds says he took the title role in “Green Lantern” to play a hero that can “throw a punch, tell a joke and kiss a girl.”
The actor, along with castmates Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard and Mark Strong and director Martin Campbell, presented a clip from the film at Comic-Con Saturday for some 6,000 ecstatic fans, many of whom camped out overnight for a chance to see the presentation.
Campbell says the 3-D movie blends realistic action with humor and an otherworldly trip to the planet Oa, home of the Green Lanterns. He added that while the hero’s costume is “a work in progress,” his cinematic story is set: He is joined by his fellow Green Lanterns for a face-off against Parallax, whom Reynolds describes as “the physical manifestation of fear in our movie.”
The clip showed Reynolds as Hal Jordan, who, after a fight with street thugs, takes the Green Lantern oath and uses his new powers to blow them away. Reynolds recited the oath for the Comic-Con crowd, which rewarded him with cheers.
The cast seemed to embrace the Comic-Con energy, and revealed which characters they’d dress up with if they could walk the convention floor. Reynolds would go as a Wookie because he likes to “be cute and dangerous.” Lively would dress as Harry Potter and Sarsgaard would go as Captain America. Strong said he’d dress as his “Green Lantern” character, Sinestro.
DC Comics chief Geoff Johns hinted that other Green Lantern films, and a Justice League movie, could follow: “The success of ‘Green Lantern’ will lead the charge for everything DC does.”
“Green Lantern” opens in June of next year.

Damn, it sounds like they?re really putting the future of comic book franchises on Ryan?s shoulders. Can he hack it? I don?t know. But I was reading some additional ocverage, and it really does sound like he was selling it, hard. He even name-dropped his famous wife, telling the audience that what with ScarJo playing The Black Widow in Iron Man 2, ?We’ve had some strongly worded dinners? we’ve probably got a lot more comic books lying around than your average married couple.?

Pairing up for a day of Comic-Con promotions, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds turned up at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California on Saturday (July 24).
The "Gossip Girl" hottie showed off a little more skin than usual in a low-cut, white, sleeveless top with black pants as she joined her hunky co-star in taking part in a "Green Lantern" panel discussion.
With fellow movie mates Peter Sarsgaard and Mark Strong as well as director Martin Campbell also on hand, Ryan dished on why he loves the "Green Lantern" character, saying, "He could throw a punch, tell a joke, and kiss the girl. I couldn't figure out who wouldn't want to play that for a movie...or maybe two or three."
Meanwhile, Blake received quite the applause as she announced to the packed audience, ?I?m excited to go to the Harry Potter panel next!?
