In case you missed it yesterday, I ended up updating that story about Blake and her phantom baby bump. Page Six had a source who claimed that Blake was eating more than usual on the set of Gossip Girl, and that she was ?glowing?? which obviously means BABY. Blake?s rep shut it down hard and fast, telling Gossip Cop that the Page Six story was ?completely untrue? within hours of Page Six?s publication. So, what does that mean? Blake isn?t selling you babies. Yet. She?s selling you the ideas of babies, because she?s so young and fertile and she?ll get pregnant soon, but right now she?s just so crazy in-love and baking and food and BABIES! It?s a circular argument, you see? Anyway, Us Weekly managed to get a ?tip? on how Ryan Reynolds loves the crap out of Blake?s happy-homemaker routine.
In Ryan Reynolds’ eyes — okay, in most guys’ eyes — Blake Lively is the total package.
The low-key duo and Green Lantern costars — who tied the knot in an intimate, top-secret Charleston, SC ceremony September 9 — first bonded during quiet date nights at Lively’s NYC apartment, where the actress showed off her culinary prowess. (“I love, love to bake!” Lively told Us Weekly last year.)
“Ryan loves the comfort Blake provides,” an insider tells Us. “It’s like, ‘You were on the cover of Vogue and you want to cook me dinner? Yes, please!’”
Echoes another source, “They are ridiculously in love.”
On Thursday, Lively, 25, headed back to work on the set of Gossip Girl in NYC, where two things were noticeably absent — her wedding ring, and that baby bump everyone has been on the lookout for.
That morning, her rep slammed a report in The New York Post’s Page Six that the actress and Reynolds, 35, are expecting, calling the rumors “completely untrue.”
Though she’s not pregnant now, kids might not be too far off for the head-over-heels newlyweds.
“I’ve always wanted a big family,” Lively told the October issue of Allure. “Oh, I’d love 30 [children] if I could.”

Here?s the thing ? I think this is probably true. We can debate whether or not Blake?s happy-homemaker routine is for real, but I have no doubt that Ryan enjoys the way Blake is (or how she acts around him), and she must seem worlds more stable than Scarlett Johansson.
I?ve been actively avoiding using ScarJo?s name in all of these Blake and Ryan posts, but this Us Weekly story is ABOUT ScarJo and how Blake is so much better for Ryan than ScarJo. And that gives me mixed feelings, like I actually feel sympathetic towards ScarJo (who really doesn’t NEED my sympathy). For one, Scarlett was really young when she got together with Ryan. I?m not infantilizing her, I?m just saying? I think she was trying on the ?wife/partner in a serious relationship? persona, and I?ve always felt like Scarlett got tired of playing that role pretty quickly, and her real personality came out. I think Ryan sees himself as a stable, conservative (conservative meaning ?not crazy, not a womanizer?) dude who wants a family, and women that date him tend to tailor their personalities to fit with that. ScarJo couldn?t keep up the faade. As for Blake? either it?s not a faade and this is what she?s really like, or she?ll outgrow this happy-homemaker phase in a few years too.

The ink is barely dry on his divorce from Scarlett Johansson, but Ryan Reynolds has already gone and gotten himself married again to Gossip Girl star Blake Lively. People magazine says:
The couple tied the knot Sunday night at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., just outside of Charleston.
The reception took place in a white tent at the plantation on Sunday evening. Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine, a good friend of the Gossip Girl star, performed three songs live, and… a cake was driven down from Virginia for the event.
Getting married within a year of being divorced always bodes well for a marriage. Next to staging a wedding around a fake pregnancy , it’s the best way to guarantee your union only lasts a year and a half, tops.

PEOPLE reported last night that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are now man and wife. A source says the two married Sunday night at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. outside of Charleston.
The nuptials took place in a white tent where Florence of Florence and the Machine, a good friend of Blake, performed three songs.
NDYN adds that the wedding was planned in just a month and there were around 70 guests, all of whom had to check in their cell phones. Dresses and suits were made by Chanel and Hugo Boss while the $3,000 wedding cake was baked by Maggie Austin Cakes in Maryland and driven eight hours across three states to the reception.
Ryan Reynolds rebounded from Scarlett Johansson to Blake Lively who’s arguably the hotter of the two right now. What kind of sorcery does this man posses? Beneath the chiseled abs, well defined pecs and millions of dollars, does there lie a sensitive and intelligent man? Because that would be totally unfair to guys everywhere.

I told you so! Sort of. I predicted some parts of this, but not others. To be fair, many people predicted that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were definitely on the marriage path. But I thought that when they did become engaged, everyone would know about the engagement and the wedding would be a big deal, like? the build-up would be huge. But as it turns out, Ryan Reynolds? dong has magical powers. It can magically turn a once hardcore-famewhore into a demure, 1950s housewife with no desire to famewhore her wedding. MAGIC!
It’s been nearly a year since they were first publicly linked ? and now Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are husband and wife. A source confirms to PEOPLE that the couple tied the knot Sunday night at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., just outside of Charleston.
The reception took place in a white tent at the plantation on Sunday evening. Florence Welch (of Florence and the Machine), a good friend of the Gossip Girl star, performed three songs live, and there was also a deejay who spun tunes. PEOPLE also confirmed that a cake was being driven down from Virginia for the event.
Lively’s mother and sister were also spotted in town, and a source told PEOPLE that the two had dinner in Charleston with Bette Midler earlier in the weekend.
Reps for the two actors had no comment.
Lively and Reynolds have been in nesting mode since buying a home in Bedford, N.Y., earlier this year. They have subsequently been seen working out together at a local gym, as well as spending quality time with their families in New York and Vancouver, where Reynolds, PEOPLE’s 2010 Sexiest Man Alive, was born.
The two, who costarred together in 2011?s Green Lantern, have stayed relatively mum about their relationship, though Lively, 25, did tell Marie Claire this summer, “It’s definitely attractive when a man can dress well.”
Reynolds, 35, was previously married to Scarlett Johansson. The couple divorced in 2010 after two years of marriage. This is the first marriage for Lively, who previously dated her Gossip Girl costar Penn Badgley.

Whenever I think of mama?s boys trying to pass themselves off as Hollywood heartthrobs, my mind always goes straight to Bradley Cooper. I swear, poor Zoe Saldana AND Renee Zellweger spent more quality time with B-Coop?s mother than they ever spent with Bradley. But would you peg Ryan Reynolds as a mama?s boy? I don?t know much about his family, but I?ve heard general things about his family being tight-knit, nice, normal Canadians. I just looked them up – his dad has Parkinson?s, which is just awful. Awful for his dad, and awful for the family. Ugh? anyway, by all accounts, they?re a tight-knit family, as is Blake?s family.
So, a few weeks about Ryan took Blake to Canada so they could spend some time with his family, after they spent many, many mini-breaks and holidays with her family. I?m positive that this is not the first time Blake has met Ryan?s family, but according to Star Magazine, there was something about this trip that pitted Blake and Ryan?s mom against each other. Tammy Reynolds thinks Blake is a diva. Blake thinks Tammy needs to mind her beeswax. Who shall be victorious?
As they blissfully prepare to share their lives together in a new home, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively?s whirlwind eight-month romance has hit a major snag. The couple?s recent visit to his hometown of Vancouver erupted into a showdown between Blake and Ryan?s mother Tammy – causing a furious Blake, 24, to storm off, a source tells Star.
Ryan?s mom, a retired salesperson, ?is a straight-talker who speaks her mind,? says a source. ?She hasn?t really warmed to Blake.?

Indeed, Blake and Ryan are ?unofficially engaged? and planning to wed in the summer of 2013 at the $2.6 million estate they recently purchased in Bedford, NY, the source reveals. But Tammy is urging them to relocate to Vancouver full-time.
?She says when they have kids, Blake and Ryan should raise them in Canada because it?s safer,? says the source. ?Blake refuses to even consider that, saying that she has to be in NYC for work.?
Despite her objections to the hasty wedding, Tammy ?has also been trying to take over the wedding planning,? says the source. ?She wants to invite all these family friends Blake doesn?t know.? The mama drama came to a head during a May 6 dinner at the Reynolds family home.
?When Tammy started grilling her, Blake left the room and had a meltdown? she told Ryan she wanted to stay at a hotel for the rest of the trip.?
Blake cooled down enough to dine with the actor, his brother and sister-in-law the next day, ?But she made it clear to Ryan that Tammy was not welcome.?
Now tensions remain high. ?Tammy says it proves she?s right: Blake?s a diva? Ryan is torn between them – and in an impossible position.?

While I think Tammy has some good points – especially about actresses prioritizing their careers and about Blake pushing Ryan so fast – I do think Tammy needs to butt out. Moving to Canada? No. Interjecting herself into wedding plans? No. I mean, was Scarlett Johansson the perfect daughter-in-law? No. And Blake won?t be the perfect daughter-in-law either, but Tammy?s son has a thing for big-boobed blonde actresses, and if that?s his prerequisite, he could do SO much worse. I know I?m about to get many, many lectures from mother?s of mama?s boys, but seriously ladies, why can?t you let your sons just make their own mistakes? Why does it always have to only be about your future daughter-in-law being a Leo DiCaprio-boning, workaholic hussy? That?s obviously what your son likes.

Showing off his main squeeze back home, Ryan Reynolds was spotted out with Blake Lively in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada yesterday (May 8).
The ?Van Wilder? stud took his ?Gossip Girl? girlfriend on a two-hour ferry ride to visit his brother, an officer with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Ryan and Blake were also spotted in Vancouver over the weekend for a Reynolds family reunion at the Altitudes Bistro.
An insider told press, ?It was a really nice family reunion, and they spent several hours catching up on the latest news and sharing lots of laughs with each other.?

Taking some time to relax in the big city, Ryan Reynolds was spotted taking his adorable pup for a walk in the Big Apple on Saturday (April 14).
The "Green Lantern" star looked suave while clad in khakis, a button up, sweater vest and sunglasses as he and his canine companion strolled down the crowded sidewalks.
Though Reynolds is currently linked to "Gossip Girl" star Blake Lively, the NYC outing comes just as as his ex-wife, Scarlett Johansson, spoke to Vogue magazine about their divorce and how she isn't quite over it yet.
"I don't feel on the other side of it completely, but it gets better," Johannson told the mag of her 2010 divorce, adding, "It's still there. More than anything, it's just that not having your buddy around all the time is weird."
"The Avengers" actress also explained that divorce was not something she saw for herself, explaining, "This was something I never thought I would be doing. And there's no way to navigate it. ... It's a very lonely thing. It's like the loneliest thing you?ll ever do, in some way."

Ever since Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds got together, friendly little Blake-centric pieces have been dropped into tabloids and such, and they began to give me an idea of what Blake and Ryan are like as a couple. And I do believe they are a couple, by the way. I think they?re probably in love. I don?t think this just a PR thing – I?m not even sure that Ryan ever does publicity fauxmances. I think he definitely likes girls – specifically, he likes big-boobed blonde girls. He likes girls who stay at home and cook for him. He thought he had that with Scarlett Johansson, but as it turns out, the whole ?being quiet and staying home? thing was just a phase for ScarJo, and once she was done with that phase, Scarlett was ready for the ?boning Sean Penn? phase of her life. But I think Ryan has found what he?s looking for with Blake. In any case, Blake seems more suited for him, because the impression I keep getting is that they?re both super-WASPy. They like ice cream socials in Connecticut. They like country clubs and reggatas and hanging out with their WASPy families and drinking martoonis. More evidence:
Things between Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are getting so serious, they spent the holiday weekend together along with Lively?s family. On Saturday night, the couple went to see ?Mary Poppins? on Broadway with several family members and afterward went for late-night treats at Serendipity 3 on the Upper East Side.
We?re told Lively and Reynolds, both wearing hats, held hands while they ordered a round of desserts, and remained largely unnoticed by other diners. Sources told us two girls sitting at the next table noticed Lively?s phone, saying: ?That girl has the same iPhone cover as Serena on ?Gossip Girl!? ? ? not recognizing the actress until her party got up to leave.

This story is being billed by some outlets as ?Blake and Ryan are headed to the next level because he?s hanging out with her family.? But they?ve ALWAYS hung out with each other?s families. Blake went to Canada to visit with Ryan?s family, and Blake?s folks are always in NYC visiting her too. They all get together and do WASP things. Which are a mystery to me, so I can?t describe them. What do WASPs do at this point? Are they still hanging out in country clubs all the time? And then they go yacht-shopping?

Showing some love to their Spanish fans, Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds were spotted at a photocall for their new film ?Safe House? in Madrid on Tuesday (January 31).
The ?American Gangster? stud and the ?Van Wilder? hunk joined Swedish director Daniel Espinosa for some press duties at the Villamagna Hotel.
And it sounds like there was plenty of action on the film?s set, both scripted and freestyle- Denzel told press that Ryan gave him his first black eye!
"I've never had a black eye in my life! There's a scene where I reach over to try to choke him while I have handcuffs on. We were flying around in the car. It just happened that as I was reaching forward he was flying back ... and POW," explained Washington.
Ryan added, "That was my early retirement. I've given Denzel Washington a black eye and I should probably go home. I'm glad I was your first. If it had to be anyone, it was an apologetic Canadian."

Looking to be taking off for the weekend, Ryan Reynolds was spotted leaving his Boston, MA pad on Friday (January 6).
The ?Green Lantern? stud was bundled up in a sweatshirt and vest as he carried a packed bag to his awaiting vehicle.
Perhaps Mr Reynolds was en route to visit his ?Gossip Girl? gal girlfriend, Blake Lively, was nowhere in sight.
As for Ryan?s next film, ?Safe House? will be released in theaters on February 10 and is an action thriller film about a CIA-operated safe house being destroyed.
