Gwyneth Paltrow is promoting another movie! Let?s hope she doesn?t go all-out like she did with Iron Man 3, because that was like three solid months of interviews, appearances and The Full Goop. The Full Goop is not a pleasant place. The Full Goop is contradictory. The Full Goop is an enema wrapped in an enigma, covered with a 1970s bush. Anyway, Goop covers the new issue of Marie Claire Australia, because that?s the kind of publication Gwyneth can control, unlike the peasant-y Vanity Fair. The editorial is? um? I don?t like the cover and I think the photo with Goop in the t-neck is a Photoshop disaster. Some of this Marie Claire Australia interview sounds old, but I think they?re mixing in new quotes with old quotes. Specifically, I?ve never heard the quote about her kids growing up and having more complicated problems.
At 41, Gwyneth Paltrow remains luminously beautiful, her figure as lithe and graceful as ever. In many paparazzi photographs, it has become hard to tell which part of her ?perfect? body is real or is the result of retouching. Paltrow, on the other hand, is so lovely in real life, it?s confounding ? even close up, you would swear her face and body were somehow the product of Photoshop.
The daughter of the late director/ producer Bruce Paltrow (who died almost 11 years ago) and the actress Blythe Danner (with whom she co-starred in 2003 in Sylvia, a biopic of ill-fated poet Sylvia Plath), the actress attributes her air of calm assurance to her upbringing as much as to her professional success.
?The self-belief I have is thanks to my dad,? she says, her voice filling with emotion. ?We had an incredible relationship, we understood each other to perfection.? She remembers a thousand fond anecdotes about him, like the time he took her to Paris as a teen and said, ?I want you to get to know this city with a man who will love you forever?; and wise advice such as, ?Look after your old friends. The possibility doesn?t exist to make new old friends.?
The other great man of her life has been ? and is ? her husband, Coldplay?s Chris Martin, to whom she has been married to for nearly a decade. Despite the fact that one of the provisos of this interview was not to ask about him, Paltrow herself never stops mentioning him in our time together. ?One of the things that unites us the most is that we always laugh at the same jokes,? she reveals. For his part, Martin recently confessed in an interview: ?When I met her, I went from being a loser to winning the lottery.?
Like every mother, she?s discovering that parenting doesn?t get any simpler as children grow. ?Last night, I was talking about that with my husband: it gets more complicated. The problems are getting more serious and I notice that they need me more now than even when they were very little. My daughter, for example, who is super-intelligent, asks me [tough] questions! I feel I have to constantly be by her side.?
Are she and Martin planning to have a third? ?I would love to, but I don?t know if I could start changing nappies again. Also, when my son was born I had terrible depression. It was strange because with my eldest it didn?t happen, I was super-happy. But with Moses it took me a year to get out of the hole.?
[From Marie Claire Australia]
Ah, ?nappies?. She?s SO English, y?all. And that?s an interesting description of postpartum depression, isn?t it? ?The hole.? I?m not making fun of her postpartum depression, I?m just choosing to focus on the language she uses. I also find this increasingly interesting: ?Despite the fact that one of the provisos of this interview was not to ask about him, Paltrow herself never stops mentioning him in our time together.? The official line is that Gwyneth and Chris are super-private and they will never be seen in the same photo together because couple-photos are for peasants, but in reality, Gwyneth would probably love it if Chris supported her publicly just a bit more. In reality, Gwyneth needs to talk about Chris to prove to us and to herself that her marriage is solid.

The vespa-riding bus-cutting-offing Gwyneth Paltrow was asked if she was going to reprise her role as Pepper Potts inThe Avengers: Age of Ultron. The answer was no. In fact, she didn’t even know it was called Age of Ultron. No one tells her anything.
“What is it called?”Paltrow asked me during our chat about the forthcoming sex-addiction dramedy “Thanks for Sharing,” in which she stars opposite Mark “The Hulk”Ruffalo. “‘Age of Ultron,’ okay. Well, no, I don’t think [I'll be in it]. I haven’t heard any…my phone has not rung for ‘Avengers 2.’” HitFix
Yikes. This is like asking if the unpopular kid is going to that awesome party on Friday and the kid asks, “What party?!” Then you sort of hum and pretend your friend called your name and you have to leave. And, and, and then I’m all like, “What party? Where is it? Hey, I know you can hear me!” Well, fine, whatever. I didn’t want to go to the stupid party anyway. What? Me? Projecting? No, never.

| Gwyneth Paltrow in pristine white for 'Thanks for Sharing' premiere: lovely or boring' | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Last night was the LA premiere of Thanks For Sharing, the sex addiction rom-com starring Mark Ruffalo. Only Ruffalo didn?t even come to the LA premiere. What?s up, Ruffalo? Didn?t want to be man-handled by Gwyneth Paltrow? As you can see, Goop was there in all of her pristine elitism. I don?t have the designer ID on the dress ? it reminds me of her Tom Ford Oscar dress a few years ago, so maybe it?s Tom Ford. It?s okay. I feel like we?ve seen Goop wear pristine white dresses so many times, so it?s kind of boringly pretty. And Goop?s idea of mixing it up is to do a red lip. Everything else is the same boring old style, down to the flat-ironed 90s hair. Hey, at least she isn’t wearing a minidress or showing her Goop Beav. If anyone finds the designer ID, give me a heads up!
Goop was on Chelsea Lately last night. The interview clip that I just watched was so boring. Chelsea and Goop look so much alike (for real) and they sound alike too. Chelsea ?joked? that Goop is a sex addict and Goop joked, ?Well, basically I was a really normal person, and then I started hanging out with you all the time.” Goop also claimed that for her 41st birthday, her plans were ?Chick-Fil-A and that’s it.? *clutches pearls*
I?m also including some other photos from the premiere ? Pink and her husband Cary Hart (she?s in the movie), Rebecca Romijn (who is not in the movie) and Patrick Fugit, the kid from Almost Famous, who is all grown up and rather hot these days.

Continuing Gwyneth Paltrow?s life mission to tell other rich white women what they should buy, what they should never eat, how to hold in their perfect farts and how they should all be more like her, this week?s Goop-letter is a doozy. You know how Gwyneth is really close to Stella McCartney, right? It?s not for any real affection for Stella?s designs, although Gwyneth occasionally deigns to wear something Stella made. No, I really think Gwyneth and Stella are cut from the same cloth and they recognize that in each other. Both are second-generation celebrities, born into exclusivity and elitism and a wealth of family connections. Both have severe critics who they barely acknowledge with an eye-roll. Neither woman is as talented as they think they are. And so? for more than a decade, a friendship has been nurtured. And now they are joined as one. Stella has ?designed? a capsule collection for Goop. Gwyneth announced it in this week?s Goop-letter:
Sometimes in life you get a girlfriend who becomes like a sister. Someone who really sees you. Who is as honest with you as they are loving. Who shares a similar world view, who has similar values. Who is a bit of a life raft when you live in a country that you lovingly adopt, but is not your own. Who also happens to be hilarious and a bit naughty and is constantly trying to get the balance of everything right, just like you are. Who is also one of your favorite designers ever, who has a ruthless eye and makes perfect, perfect things. Stella is that girl and so much more. I convinced her to do a collaboration, a very mini capsule collection of some beautiful, covetable things.
Here it is: Stella x goop.
Love, gp
[From Goop]
?Who shares a similar world view, who has similar values.? As I was saying, elite white women born into privilege flock together. You can see the capsule collection here ? the purses are okay, but as I?m writing this, the $770 clutch (IT?S NOT EVEN LEATHA!) and the $1230 shoulder bag are both sold out. Yes, those are the correct prices. There?s also a $1240 onesie with unfortunate bulges (ha), black pants (which you could easily find at The Limited) for $835, and a $1895 black blazer. FOR REAL. This is some racket for Goop.
Here?s the video of the Goop-Stella capsule collection launch ?English Garden Party? thing. Cameron Diaz was there. Rachel Zoe was there (awkward ? because Cameron fired Rachel Zoe last year, I believe). Various models were there. Chris Martin was there. Sarah Jessica Parker was there. Paul McCartney and Blythe Danner were there. No fatties were allowed there. No adult under 5?8? was allowed in. All of the children had to be blonde-ish too. Do you smell that? That?s the smell of trust funds.

| Gwyneth Paltrow Doesn't Have a Valid License | Added 11 years ago | Source: The Blemish |

I’m not sure why OMG! Yahoo looks like total ass now but they’re reporting Gwyneth Paltrow doesn’t have a license to drive a Vespa or even a car in California.
Paltrow explained that she pulled in front of a school busand endangered her children a few days ago because she was trying to get away from paparazzi and she thought the school bus had stopped.
“Gwyneth was being followed by several very aggressive paparazzi,” he said. “And they kept swerving in front and back of her and made her very nervous driving and resulted in her pulling in front of the bus when she thought the bus had stopped.”
The video doesn’t really show that happening, but sure, Mrs. Celebrity, I believe you. Forget traffic laws because paparazzi are out to get you.
Still, OMG! says Paltrow hasn’t had a valid California license since 2004 and hasn’t ever taken a test to get a Class M1 license to drive a motorcycle/vespa/etc.
According to her reps, Paltrow had been living in London for a decade and “she just moved back to California.” Adding, “She has 30 days to transfer her licenses, which are in the process of happening.” Though OMG! says the DMV requires drivers obtain a license within 10 days of moving to the state.
Anyway, Paltrow is still driving her Vespa but has since mounted cameras on the front and back of it. Hopefully in a week we’ll get a crazy dash cam video on YouTube we always see coming out of Russia. This one will probably be of Gwyneth maniacally running over paparazzi with her Vespa while screaming with delight.

You know you’re white when you’re riding a Vespa around LA. You know you’re white and the 1% when you’re picking your kids up with your Vespa and cutting off school buses and not giving a shit because fuck them.
That’s exactly what Gwyneth Paltrow did when she went to school to pick up her two gluten free kids with Chris Martin on their dorky Vespas.
When it came time to leave, Paltrow zipped in front of a school bus causing it to slam on the brakes. She didn’t even look back once. And why should see? These god damn peasants and their mass transportation system. Get a Vespa, fucktards.

| Gwyneth Paltrow freaked out when Chris Martin took their kids to McDonald's | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Do you think Gwyneth Paltrow ever lets her kids have a French fry? She changes her mind about her diet and her kids? diets all the time, and it?s difficult to get a straight answer out of her either way. Sometimes she says she lets the kids eat Oreos and have one soda a week (or something), other times she?s talking about how she put them on a no-carbohydrates diet. I do have to wonder where Chris Martin is in all of this ? does he ever wish that his wife would stop pushing her food issues on their children? Does he ever let them have one French fry each on the down-low? Well, according to The Enquirer, it might have happened:
While Gwyneth Paltrow went off to do a bookstore gig promoting her ?It?s All Good? cookbook in New York?s chi-chi Hamptons, hubby Chris Martin whisked their kids Apple and Moses to a local McDonalds ? even though health-nut Mommy had told him to feed them a healthy, nutritious meal because they?d be on the run all day.
When the family reunited later, sharp-eyed Gwyneth spotted a McDonald?s wrapper on the floor of the car ? and exploded!
?I thought I asked you to take them for a healthy lunch,? she snapped at Chris, then launched into a yada-yada rant about how she :?can?t understand why he never follows her directions?.
Chris quickly defended himself, saying he?d carefully picked ?healthy choices from the fast food menu ? and the kids instantly chimed in that they love eating out with Daddy because ?he takes us to fun places!? Defeated and outnumbered, Mommy rolled her eyes and groaned: ?I give up!?
[From Mike Walker?s column, The Enquirer, print edition]
Yeah, McDonald?s has salads now. And healthy-ish wraps and stuff like that. Do you think Chris follows Gwyneth?s rules all the time though? Or did Gwyneth find a wrapper for a Big Mac? HOW GAUCHE.
Speaking of gauche, have you read Gwyneth?s insane Goop-letter this week? The theme is ?Back to School? and you can read the epic mess here. It includes ?healthy? recipes, of course, and an essay from a lady who hates summer. But my favorite part is the ?Back to Office ? supplies? part. Gwyneth shills for all of these smaller boutique companies who do fancy, elite, specialty products like? paper clips. And scissors. And a fancy tape dispenser. What kills me is not the price on these items ? although the prices are absolutely insane for anyone other the 0.1% of crazy rich people who think that it?s perfectly reasonable to spend $8 on 88 elite paper clips ? no, what really kills me is that Gwyneth is too f?king lazy to add hyperlinks to the actual products she?s shilling. The hyperlinks included in the Goop-letter are just to the main pages of the online stores, you have to actually exert time and effort hunting for what Gwyneth has ?recommended?.

They?re both beloved fashion icons in their own right, and now Stella McCartney and Gwyneth Paltrow are joining forces for a mystery project.
The ?Shakespeare in Love? starlet and the British designer will launch the collaboration in September, though the details surrounding the team-up are scarce.
At this point, Gwyn?s Goop blog seems to be the center of the action, though with the wide range of subject matter it covers, there?s no telling whether the venture will concern clothing, healthy living, or something entirely unrelated.
Paltrow has worked with Rag & Bone, Chinti & Parker, and Beyond Yoga in the past, so here?s to hoping for some fabulous new duds!

| Gwyneth Paltrow & her family eat bags of éclairs all the time, Simon Pegg claims | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Here are just a couple of new photos of Gwyneth Paltrow at a book signing in NYC yesterday. Fame/Flynet says that Goop ?brought along hubby Chris Martin, who stood and glared the whole time she talked.? YIKES. Damn, Chris. If you don?t want to come out to support your wife, don?t do it. But don?t come out begrudgingly and then act like a douche the whole time!
Incidentally, did you know that Simon Pegg is godfather to Goop and Chris?s daughter Apple Martin? Not only that, but Chris is godfather to Simon?s daughter too. Simon talked about his relationship with Gwyneth and Chris:
The British actor Simon Pegg is godfather to Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow’s 9-year-old daughter Apple. In turn, Martin is godfather to Pegg’s 4-year-old daughter Matilda.
It’s been a joy, Pegg tells PEOPLE, but sometimes difficult to reciprocate certain gestures.
“[Chris] sang a song for [Matilda] in Berlin when she was born,” Pegg said, with still-apparent awe, last week at the Los Angeles premiere of his latest film, The World’s End. “He dedicated one of the songs, and I was really chuffed about it.”
And what does Pegg, 43, do for the Paltrow-Martin household?
“Muffins,” he deadpanned. “Any kind of gift basket, maybe some toiletries …”
In fact, food does work, he added. “They eat anything, believe me,” Pegg says with a chuckle. “I go around there with a bag of clairs every time I see them. They scoff ‘em down, and I don’t even get any.”
While being a godfather has been amazing, Pegg adds that fatherhood to Matilda has been the most transformative experience in his life.
“She’s amazing,” he says. “She’s the center of my life, and I value spending time with her more than anything. She’s the best.”
[From People]
The bit about the eclairs is interesting. You would think that Gwyneth would practically need an exorcism after some guest brought a sugary baked good into her home, but I guess not. Anyway, I didn?t know she and Chris were tight with Simon Pegg at all. That seems rather downmarket for Goop, right?
Also, the second trailer for Gwyneth?s new film was just released. This Thanks For Sharing, with Mark Ruffalo, Pink, Josh Gad and Tim Robbins. This trailer has less Goop than the first trailer and more Ruffalo and more Gad. Which is a good thing.

Did you know that Gwyneth Paltrow has taken a break from her Goop-letter for weeks and I?m only realizing it now? I?m not surprised ? from what I remember, Gwyneth always takes a ?Goop holiday? for the month of August, if not longer. Because writing one blog post a week is super-exhausting, you guys. For real. After I write one post (and Goop and I are the same, we cut-and-paste a lot of stuff), I need to soak in a tub full of diamonds and champagne too.
Anyway, her last Goop-letter was all about Honesty and The Truth and Living An Honest Life. And it got me thinking about whether or not Gwyneth is an honest person. Part of the controversy around Gwyneth?s last cookbook (and the promotional tour for her cookbook) was that she was advocating for a complete elimination diet (only she didn?t call it that). She told stories of taking eggs, dairy, pasta, bread and rice out of her children?s diet and out of her own and everyone was like ?OMG, are you insane?? And then Goop came back and was like ?That?s not what I meant? even though it was exactly what she meant and exactly what she was shilling in her cookbook. So much for honesty.
Since that kerfuffle, Goop has been talking up the idea that OF COURSE she eats meat and pasta and she drinks and smokes and all of that, and she has no idea where anyone got the idea of any kind of elimination diet. So does she really practice what she preaches? Or are we not even clear on what exactly she?s preaching these days?
Gwyneth Paltrow gives new meaning to the phrase “veg out.” The actress, 40, has worked hard to get the body she has now, and she’s determined to keep it — even if that means eating just steamed veggies while everyone around her chows down on pasta and pizza.
That was the scene at New York eatery Serafina East Hampton on Aug. 20, when Paltrow and her husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, took kids Apple, 8, and Moses, 6, to dinner with a couple of friends. A source tells Us Weekly that the group ordered a carb-filled feast, but that the Oscar winner didn’t indulge in any of it.
“Gwyneth didn’t touch the carbs,” the source notes. “She only ate the steamed vegetables. So everyone else had a pizza and pasta feast while she ate her vegetables and drank sparkling water.”
Her family, meanwhile, had no qualms about loading up. After digging into plates of spaghetti and pizza margherita, they sampled several of the restaurant’s desserts, including chocolate souffle, apple pie, and ice cream.
“They seemed really happy, lots of smiles,” the source tells Us of the group.
Paltrow has said in the past that her attitude toward food changed after her dad, Bruce Paltrow, got sick several years ago. “I began to consider the effects of food when my father was diagnosed with throat cancer in 1998,” she told Beach magazine earlier this year. “I started to research anti-cancer diets in hopes that he would try to hit it from all angles.”
When Bruce died in October 2002 at age 58 due to complications of the cancer and pneumonia, Paltrow decided to eliminate dairy and gluten from her own diet.
“It’s about being mindful about what you are putting in,” she explained. “Good whole foods are the way we have eaten for generations. It’s amazing how good you feel when you just cut out the processed stuff.”
That said, the Goop founder does have her guilty pleasures. “I love Starbucks — I’ll have a cappuccino,” she confessed to British Cosmopolitan in July. “My guilty snack in the U.K. is cheese, and in America, things on buns: a lobster roll and French fries, or a turkey burger with cheese.”
[From Us Weekly]
Whenever I think about subsisting on only steamed veggies for the rest of my life, I think about how it?s not always about the quantity of years one lives, but the quality. This story represents a certain kind of hell for me ? the idea that I would have to sit around and sip water and nibble on steamed cauliflower while everyone around me ate pasta and pizza and ice cream and chocolate. Should we applaud Gwyneth?s strength of will? Or should we pity her? Because you know what? I would rather have a few extra pounds and eat the dessert rather than do what it takes to look like Gwyneth. And I think most people feel that way. Wait, did I say ?people?? I meant ?peasants?. Most peasants feel that way.
