Here are some photos of Gwyneth Paltrow and Ewan Mcgregor in London last Friday. They were filming scenes for a new movie in a caf on the South Bank. That movie? Mortdecai, the new Johnny Depp film where Depp plays an art dealer hunting for some painting which holds a code to the location of some hidden Nazi gold. The film is an adaptation of Kyril Bonfiglioli’s final novel. It?s being described as a ?crime comedy?. Which I guess is why Johnny Depp has blonde hair and a mustache.
As for Goop and Ewan? have they ever worked together before? Let me see? YES. They did Emma together, how did I not remember that off the top of my head?! Damn it. Emma is one of the few Goop films that I can watch and thoroughly enjoy despite Gwyneth. I might even think it?s one of her best films ? I would also recommend the more recent adaptation with Romola Garai too, with Jonny Lee Miller as Mr. Knightley. Anyway, Ewan played Frank Churchill in Emma. They had a surprising amount of chemistry together, but Ewan is one of those actors who could have chemistry with an inanimate object.
So, Goop and Ewan have reunited on-screen for Mortdecai with Johnny Depp. This is, from my understanding, a period film set in the 1940s. Which explains Gwyneth?s styling here. Even though I?m not a Goop fan, I?ll admit it ? she can really pull off period styling. The way she looks here reminds me a lot of how she looked in The Talented Mr. Ripley.
Oooo? I just looked at the IMDB for this film, Paul Bettany is in it too. And Olivia Munn. WTF?

Working on their new project, Gwyneth Paltrow and Ewan Mcgregor teamed up on the set of ?Mortdecai? in London on Friday (November 22).
The dynamic duo dressed in their best duds as they shot a restaurant scene for the David Koepp-directed film.
The action-comedy drama also stars Olivia Munn and Johnny Depp and follows art dealer, Charles Mortdecai, as he searches for a stolen painting rumored to contain a code the leads to Nazi gold.
It is slated to hit theaters in 2014.

My father spoke so many languages. He spoke Bengali, Hindi, English and German, and I think he was proficient in Latin too. When I was in high school, I took Spanish and my dad let me know that I was a huge disappointment. I never learned Bengali, much to his everlasting shame. I remember being decent at Spanish, although I?ve forgotten a lot of it. These days, I wish I had pushed myself to learn another language when I was younger and my mind was like a sponge, absorbing all of the crazy stuff that I still remember today. Is that Gwyneth Paltrow?s justification then? That even though she allegedly makes Apple and Moses speak to her exclusively in Spanish, that they?re thank her one day?
En Espanol, por favor! Gwyneth Paltrow wants her kids Apple, 9, and Moses, 7, to be well-rounded and worldly — so much so that in an effort to teach them to be bilingual, she sometimes encourages them to speak with her only in Spanish, a source reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly.
While at Cameron Diaz’s Beverly Hills home for the Oct. 12 wedding of Diaz’s assistant, Jesse Lutz, the Iron Man 3 star, 41, urged her children to put their language skills to use. “Gwyneth reminded them through the party,” a witness tells Us.
“At one point,” the onlooker says, “Apple came to her table and asked, in Spanish, if she could sit on her lap!”
Married to Coldplay singer Chris Martin since December 2003, the Goop founder recently defended her parenting choices in an interview with U.K. magazine Red.
“That idea of ‘Oh God, if I don’t show up to this concert, all the other mums are going to think I’m terrible.’ Well, so f–king what,” the Oscar winner said. “It’s like, when I’m with my kids, I give them everything I have. And when I’m not, I give whatever I’m doing everything I have. And that’s my work/life balance.”
“I’ve made it work for me, but it doesn’t matter what my specific thing is,” she continued. “It’s like, what’s your specific thing? How do you want your life to look? It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks. It matters what you think of yourself. And what your children think…I’d say, do what is right for you and don’t give a s–t what anyone else thinks.”

Does this make her a good mother because, in the long run, Moses and Apple are going to have a leg up with their language skills? Is this smart because at that age, kids are little sponges and it?s easier for them to pick up a language? Or is Gwyneth just a pretentious monster? Eh. Can?t it be both? Frankly, I?m not worried about Gwyneth?s mothering skills when it comes to her kids? education. I?m worried about what Moses and Apple are learning about diets and juice cleanses and Goop?s version of ?healthy eating?.

For the last two to three months, we?ve been in constant Goop-lockdown, waiting for Vanity Fair to publish whatever tell-all, take-down, smack-down article they?ve managed to write. We?ve done stories about what the article could possibly reveal. We?ve done stories about Gwyneth?s attempts to quash the article too, and her attempts to take down Vanity Fair in total. But what if this whole thing is just a conspiracy to get both Gwyneth and Vanity Fair some extra publicity? Huh.
The drama surrounding Vanity Fair and Gwyneth Paltrow has been going on for a couple of months now, with no resolution. According to multiple reports, the Oscar-winning actress is trying to stop pals and associates from speaking to Vanity Fair, which is said to be working on a detailed expose of her past. It all began in early September with a New York Times article entitled ?Harder Edge From Vanity Fair Chafes Some Big Hollywood Stars.?
The Times claimed that back in May, Paltrow had asked friends not to deal with the glossy magazine and sent out an email which not only requested pals decline to comment, but recommended that they never work with the magazine again.
“We started a story on her,” the magazine?s editor-in-chief Graydon Carter later told the Times of London in October. “We have a very good writer and it’ll run.”
It is now November 19, and still no story. So what gives? A source who has worked closely with Paltrow told us she isn?t the controlling person she has been labeled by the press throughout the ordeal.
?Gwyneth is actually one of the very genuine few in Hollywood, she isn?t calculative but can sometimes put her foot in it without thinking it through,? said the source.
But others have suggested the whole feud could all be a carefully constructed publicity stunt. Paltrow?s longtime publicist Stephen Huvane was listed by Business Insider last year as the most powerful Hollywood publicist and is one of the founders of the top entertainment industry firm Slate PR. Slate PR also happens to handle press and publicity for the Vanity Fair Oscar Party and the week of glamorous festivities prior to Hollywood?s night of nights.

While a source closely connected to the magazine said it was highly doubtful that this was a stunt, other experts haven?t totally ruled it out.
?It takes work to break through all the noise and creating tension is a way to do it,? said crisis communications expert Glenn Selig of Selig Multimedia. ?Controversy helps sell magazines, but I would say this helps the magazine more than Gwyneth.?
Unless it doesn’t.
?I?m still not sure how much is going to come from this,? an insider told FOX411. ?It seems like a lot of hot air with little substance, at least so far.”
Entertainment writer Scott Huver agrees.
?While I give Vanity Fair credit for sticking to their guns despite celebrity pressure, Gwyneth is not exactly the most pulse-quickening subject for an expose ? the world?s not necessarily going to be a better place because of it,? Hubver said. ?But if Paltrow?s camp did in fact make a major effort to squash it, you can be sure Graydon Carter?s not going to be the one to blink in this showdown.?
Reps for both Paltrow and Vanity Fair did not respond to a request for comment.

That?s very interesting. I do enjoy a good conspiracy theory and I wouldn?t put it past Vanity Fair to orchestrate some kind of controversy like that. But wwould Gwyneth play along? I don?t know. Gwyneth, for all of her Goop-ing, is rather old-school when it comes to how she plays the game and how she sees herself as a celebrity. I wonder if she?s capable of the kind of long-term media strategy that would involve her becoming a tabloid punching bag for months on end, and for what purpose? To create some buzz? To make her look more sympathetic? Eh.

We all know that it's time to start thinking about our loved ones' holiday wishes, and Gwyneth Paltrow knows this. The "Iron Man III" starlet just released her children?s Christmas lists on Thursday?s (November 14) GOOP holiday gift guide.
The 41-year-old's daughter Apple Martin stated that she wanted ?an iPod 5, a Lifeproof case for my iPod5 so I can take it underwater and a Kipling rolley backpack.?
The blonde beauty's son, Moses Martin wants an acoustic guitar, the video game, "Skylanders Swap Force," and a hamster. He also wrote about an arts and crafts set, writing, ?Pretty much everyone wants a rainbow loom."
"I am overwhelmed and a disaster," Gwyneth wrote on the guide, apparently letting her Christmas game slide. For her own list, she stated that she "included some old favorites and some new finds, all of which will make Father Christmas proud."

Back in September, TMZ?s cameras caught Gwyneth Paltrow endangering a school bus full of peasant children. Gwyneth was riding her Vespa in LA, with daughter Apple riding shotgun, and Goop cut off a school bus, avoiding a crash by just a few inches and seconds. It was an awful video of Gwyneth endangering children for no reason other than she thinks she?s so special, she doesn?t believe the peasants? laws should apply to her, and she?s willing to stake Apple?s life on those beliefs. It?s awful. Well, funny story ? Apple and Moses? school saw the video and they realized it was a huge problem so the school has banned Vespas for drop-offs and pick-ups. This isn?t coming from a tabloid ? The Hollywood Reporter got a tip that the school has banned Vespas ?citing safety concerns.? For what it?s worth, Goop?s rep denies it. I believe THR though. HAHA.
Meanwhile, nothing is coming up Goop Roses these days, probably because roses are for peasants. Radar reports that Gwyneth is being ?urged? to do something to turn the tide of bad publicity she?s been getting:

Another baby? The source claims that after Paltrow admitted her heartbreaking miscarriage, she?s not interested in having a baby naturally ? let alone for the sake of fixing her image. But Paltrow, 41, has a few other options that could help tip the fanfare in her favor.
?It looks like she will have to undergo either some weight gain for a role that wins her Bridget Jones-style sympathy or perhaps do a play on Broadway or in London that will allow her to reconnect with her core fans,? the source said.

I agree that it?s a stupid idea to have a baby just to fix your image, although let?s be real ? SO many celebrity women do that and we as a society let it happen. Pregnancy and babies white-wash everything. I think doing a play would be a dumb move too. What other options does she have besides ?stop being such an elitist a?hole?? Huh. Before I get into these new, asinine Tracy Anderson quotes, let me recap and update the situation with Gwyneth Paltrow?s Vanity Fair thing. Hopefully, VF is going to release their Gwyneth take-down in the beginning of December. Until then, Gwyneth has allegedly been trying to organize some kind of boycott of Vanity Fair. She?s asked all of her A-list friends (she doesn?t have anything BUT A-list friends) to boycott appearing on the cover of VF, and Radar also claimed she was trying to organize a boycott of VF?s annual Oscar party, which is the hottest ticket in town. But late last week, Gwyneth?s rep told media outlets that the ?boycotting the VF Oscar party? story is ?completely false? and ?Gwyneth has not asked anyone to not attend the party.? You know what I find interesting? That she would specifically deny the Oscar party story but not the ?calling all her friends to get them to boycott the magazine? story.
Anyway, on to the new quotes. Gwyneth and Tracy Anderson are in business together. This part of Gwyneth?s new branding effort, one of her many goopy side projects. Tracy and Gwyneth own gyms together, plus one ?blow out bar? where you can get your hair done, and I think Gwyneth is invested in Tracy?s DVD line too. Now, Tracy and Gwyneth are tight because they are both delusional a?holes who love to not-so-subtly shade the peasantry, but sometimes Tracy?s hyper-critical eye extends to her friend and business partner. She?s already openly pitied Gwyneth?s ?significant problem areas? and trash-talked Gwyneth?s naked body. So what does Tracy have to say now?
Tracy Anderson thinks Gwyneth Paltrow looks better in her 40s. The celebrity trainer was furious her close friend and business partner was criticized in the media for donning a stomach-baring outfit to the launch of her new chat show, ‘The Conversation’, and doesn’t see why the 41-year-old actress shouldn’t be allowed to flash the killer abs she spends hours toning.
Tracy exclusively told BANG Showbiz: ”Oh please! This is not a hoochie mama crop top, this is a gorgeous crop top. How ridiculous! If you look at her arm, how chunky it looks next to Kate Moss’ arm years ago, if you look at her now, she looks a lot better! She looks fantastic! What makes me mad is, why is that not inspirational? Why do women criticise women who work hard? It doesn’t make any sense. I think it’s a great outfit.”
The fitness entrepreneur has recently launched the Tracy Anderson Men’s Program, working with the likes of Robert Downing Jr., and she admits she would love to get her hands on ‘How I Met Your Mother’ funnyman Jason Segel.
Asked which star she would like to whip into shape, Tracy laughed: ”I think I’d like to work with Jason Segel. I can just tell sometimes he cocks his neck weirdly. ‘He’s really out of balance, it feels like his face and his body are not connected right, I think the men’s program would really help him because I feel like he’s super talented!”
However, the star – who has teamed up with Xbox Fitness – has incredibly high standards and refuses to work with A-list clients who don’t ”bring it” in her studio.
Tracy said: ”I have celebrity clients that come in and they have very fixed mindsets. They’re like, ‘I’m a diva! I will only perform if 70,000 people are watching me!’ If the Xbox was training some of the people that I’ve trained it would be like – FAIL – because they just don’t bring it. I have no interest in that.”
Tracy said: ”Gwyneth Paltrow is my most acclaimed student. The thing about Gwyneth is she’s an extremophile. How can she go to all these extremes of being a successful actress, being a wonderful mother, being a lifestyle expert, being a partner to me in fitness? And looking better in her body than she did at 20??
”When people see someone in that position they envy that or make excuses for why they can do it. But the thing is with Gwyneth that sets her apart is that she has a growth mindset. Gwyneth loves to learn. She executes things and sees them through to actually have the results.?
”She’s remarkable that way. She’s speaks multiple languages, she has learnt to play the guitar for roles. She does things right. I think it’s unfortunate that when people see people in successful positions they think they got given that, or they got lucky. A lot of the time that’s the case. Here?s what I always think when some trainer is complaining about their clients: if your client was motivated and organized about getting fit on their own, they wouldn?t need you. If you describe yourself as ?trainer? you better know how to motivate people in a healthy way. Instead, Tracy thinks her job as a trainer is to tell people that they have fat disaster bodies and that she?ll help them but only if they pay her exorbitant fees and motivate themselves.
As for the Goop stuff? it?s like Tracy is just making up controversies where none exist. No one is saying that Gwyneth can?t show off her body (although I do judge Gwyneth for her reliance on miniskirts at her age). Here are some new photos of Gwyneth Paltrow in Paris yesterday evening. She was at the Printemps Haussmann department store, unveiling the new ?Nol, Joyeuse Obsession by Prada? window. Obviously, she wore Prada to the event. I kind of don?t hate it. The dress fits, the white-and-black is a bit fussy but cute, and it still feels kind of holiday-themed. I even like her hair here, even though she?s still doing the dreaded center part ? her hair looks very fluffy here, which is what I like. I prefer my Goop with fluffy hair rather than thin, lifeless, flat-ironed hair. I?m assuming Gwyneth got a decent paycheck for this appearance ? Gwyneth consistently feathers her nest with these paid appearances all around the world. Just like Stacy Keibler.
Have you checked out this week?s Goop-letter? This week?s Goop is all about French-style ?deconstructed tasting menu experiences? which are bargain-basement for peasants: under $100! For appetizers, basically. She also Goops about Art as Therapy but the best part is her newest collaboration (because Goop is basically just a fancy online boutique at this point). Goop?s collab this week is with Paperless Post, and she?s ?designed? a line of cards. Cards which feature some vintage photos of Goop. Doesn?t everyone want that? What better way to send a thank you card to someone than to use cards with Gwyneth Paltrow?s face on them?
Which brings me to this interesting article/editorial from The Guardian ? you can read it here. The Guardian?s Tanya Gold asks, ?Why do so many women hate Gwyneth Paltrow?? The editorial is all about how Gwyneth has become a tabloid target of scorn and how Vanity Fair is gleefully going after her. Tanya?s argument goes off the rails a little bit when she compares Gwyneth to Samantha ?Women Hate Me Because I?m So Beautiful? Brick, but I guess the larger point Gold makes is this: ?I do not know if Graydon Carter would self-identify as a feminist, but I am certain that the loathing of Brick and Paltrow is largely driven by women.? As in, if you criticize Gwyneth, well you?re obviously just a self-hating woman, a spiteful female misogynist who loves to gang up on ?the pretty girl.? My answer to that criticism: I make fun of Gwyneth because she?s an elitist snob, a product of nepotism, a hypocrite, a liar and a fake. Her ?advice? is out-of-touch at best and downright dangerous at worst.

So far, only George Clooney has taken her call, I guess, but Julia Roberts is ignoring her. And now, a new peasant wrinkle. Gwyneth is trying to get A-listers to boycott VF?s annual Oscar party, which is known as ?the hottest ticket in town? come awards season. Hahahaha.

As we reported, the war between Paltrow, 41, and the popular magazine ? which is planning to run a bombshell expose on her ? is at an all-time high amid private vows and declaration to destroy the monthly?s reputation.
?Gwyneth feels her relationship with the magazine has been destroyed and she?s urging pals not just to avoid doing business with the magazine, but to skip the mag?s Oscar party as well,? a source dished to Radar. ?To be frank, she wants to shut their Oscar party down entirely.?
It?s not the first time Paltrow has enlisted the help of her famous friends to tarnish the magazine.

The fuss started when Vanity Fair?s editor-in-chief Graydon Carter expressed his hard-hitting approach to Paltrow when she decided to decline cooperation with the magazine for a cover story featuring her.

When the article failed to make it into the magazine?s latest issue, Paltrow?s efforts ?notably stepped up,? the source said.
They said: ?She wants the magazine?s reputation destroyed before they can even publish anything on her.?
As Radar previously reported, a mass email Paltrow sent to her friends begging them not to participate in the magazine?s expose was revealed stating: ?If you are asked for quotes or comments, please decline. Also, I recommend you all never do this magazine again.?
Paltrow, 41, has supposedly convinced George Clooney to withdraw from appearing on the magazine?s Hollywood Issue cover, but had trouble with Julia Roberts who is apparently close to the magazine?s editor-in-chief, Graydon Carter.
?[Julia] is ignoring Gwyneth, has no problem with Graydon and is happily still committed to appear on the cover of that issue,? the source revealed, noting that the refusal to bend to Paltrow?s wishes ?has probably ended any chance of a friendship between the two of them.?

HOLY CRAP. Now I really want to see a girl-fight between Julia Roberts (*goose honk*) and Gwyneth Paltrow (*simper*). And I think it?s hilarious that Gwyneth has spent DECADES cultivating and culling her elite list of strictly A-list friends, and how very few of those friends have her back in a Goop Emergency. First Jay-Z appeared on the cover ? JUDAS! And now Julia Roberts won?t back down? Hahahaha. Oh, and George Clooney probably just pushed his VF cover back a few months since The Monuments Men isn?t going to be released in time for the awards season anyway.
Once again, I just have to say ? Gwyneth really has no idea how to behave when every single person around her isn?t kissing her ass. This is only one of the first cracks in Goop?s armor. Maybe she needs to hire Liberty Ross?s crisis manager or something?
