Introducing her first collaborative clothing item on her website, Gwyneth Paltrow has created a $90 white t-shirt for GOOP which is dubbed ?the perfect t-shirt?.
Only available in the United States, the "Iron Man" actress explained on her website, ?We've collaborated with Kain Label, creators of the perfect tee, to create a version exclusive to goop, inspired by tuxedo tailoring, we added grosgrain piping to the shoulders and sides, and shortened the length, modernizing this essential wardrobe staple.?
The limited edition tee is the first of many items to bear the company name as GOOP confirms each week a new clothing, home accessories or beauty item will be featured as an exclusive limited edition collaboration available.
Through the website, Paltrow offers tips such as where to find expensive one-of-a kind clothing items for children, how to "build the ultimate closet,? as well as advice on how to whip up the perfect Korean dish Bibimbap.
As for why she created the site, the 39-year-old actress told People back in 2009, "I felt like I had a lot of really useful information that I was privileged enough to get, because I have this amazing, super, fortunate life," adding, "My friends call me all the time to say, 'Where should I go?' or 'What should I do?' And I thought, you know maybe some other people would be interested in it as well, so I started it, and it's doing great."

After attending a concert in Paris this weekend, Gwyneth Paltrow took to her Twitter page to show off her fun night, but instead she got a firestorm of negative feedback.
On Friday (June 1), the "Contagion" actress posted a photo of herself on stage with rappers Jay-Zand Kanye West in Paris for their 'Watch the Throne' tour with a caption reading, "Ni**as in paris for real."
Although the 39-year-old's caption was just the title of a song written by the performers, it sparked a racial controversy on whether or not she was using the N-word in a derogatory way.
Following the weekend uproar, Miss Paltrow once again to took to her social media page to defend herself tweeting, "Hold up. It's the title of the song!"
Regardless of the context of her tweet, Jay and Kanye did perform that hit 11 times during their performance.

Gwyneth Paltrow did an event in London two days ago for the Clinton Foundation, and I?m sorry I didn?t get a chance to get to the photos yesterday. There good pics – Gwyneth actually stopped for a moment outside the venue to smile and pose for the waiting paparazzi, which she rarely does. I do like her outfit – white slacks and some kind of intricate, lacy shell. Gwyneth does white and cream a lot, and sometimes the paleness washes her out, but not here. She looks toned and fit and tan.
But really, let?s talk what?s important. HER HAIR. I?ve been on a tear over the past year or so about Gwyneth?s hair. In my defense, Goop is kind of stuck in the 1990s, her hey-day. She still believes her go-to red carpet look should be ?long blonde hair, flat-ironed, with a strict center part.? It no longer suits her face, and I think the style ages her and dates her. Look at how much better and younger she looks with her hair all wavy and fluffy and teased out a bit? Isn?t this such an improvement? She needs to adopt this style more often.
As for the event – President Clinton was there. Don?t worry. Goop is SO not his type. Let?s face it – you could show Bubba a dozen slim, elegant, icy blondes and he?s always going to go for the zaftig, bubbly brunette. I kind of want Bubba to meet Christina Hendricks. RIGHT? That needs to happen. Here?s more about the London event:
It was certainly an eclectic crowd at the Millennium Network Event held held in London last night. Gwyneth Paltrow brought Hollywood glamour to the bash and turned up in an all white outfit and a winning smile. The 39-year-old star donned a bright ensemble held at The Old Vic Tunnels in Waterloo. Gwyneth was seen waving to fans and photographers as she arrived at the event, showing off her trim figure in a white top with embroidery detail and a pair of tuxedo trousers. The mother-of-two had her hair teased into loose beach waves and had heavy eyeliner for the occasion.
Gwyneth was co-host of the event which was attended by Princess Beatrice and her boyfriend Dave Clark, Joan Collins and Lily Cole. The Millennium Network is part of the Clinton Foundation and former President Bill and his daughter Chelsea were there to support the event.
The fundraiser was arranged to help raise funds for the organisation which aims to improve global health, strengthen economies, promote healthier childhoods, and protect the environment. Guests, who paid upwards of 120 a ticket were treated to music, speeches and drinks as well as the chance to mingle with the familiar faces in attendance.
[From The Mail]
So she co-hosted! Good for Goop, deigning to mingle with the charitable peasantry. Oh, but she got to have some face time with Pres. Clinton and Princess Beatrice, I?m sure. I really want this week?s Goop newsletter to be all about Gwyneth finding a way to name-drop ?Mr. William Jefferson Clinton.? Please, like Gwyneth would ever stoop to call him ?Bill?. As if.
UPDATE: Hahaha, funny story – this event that Goop co-hosted is being called the “WORST PARTY EVER”.
Bill Clinton hasn?t had much luck on the party circuit. Another exclusive bash he?d hosted in London recently with tickets costing up to $1,600 was blasted as ?the worst party ever? by guests who lined up for hours to get in. Marie Phillips, author of ?Gods Behaving Badly,? wrote on Twitter, ?WORST. PARTY. EVER. The queue was the highlight.? She described how celebrity guests including Gwyneth Paltrow and Will.i.am were led in while hundreds of others who paid for tickets waited outside near Waterloo Station. She added, ?I haven?t seen so many posh angry people in a line since the shrimp ran out at Kate and Wills? wedding.?

Go ahead and just blame it all on Gwyneth. PEASANT REVOLT!!!

| Gwyneth Paltrow just single-handedly ruined 'The New Girl' | Added 13 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

|
As many of you know by now, I am a big fan of The New Girl. I think it?s the most underappreciated new comedy of the 2011-2012 network season. At first I was right there with the haters, yelling about Zooey Deschanel/Jess?s indie/hipster affectations, but honestly, the show is really, really well-written and funny. One of the best parts of the show is the supporting character of Schmidt, Jess?s anal retentive, metrosexual, douchebag roommate, played brilliantly by Max Greenfield. Unfortunately, I now feel like I have to hate the show in general and Max Greenfield in particular. Why, perchance? Because I just found out that Dame Gwyneth Paltrow LOVES the show and Max Greenfield in particular. DAMN IT, GOOP. Stop ruining everything!!
In her current issue of Goop (the weekly newsletter), Gwyneth talks up the show and then allows Max Greenfield to ?guest edit? Goop for the week. It doesn?t matter that he?s completely charming and funny (he is, by the way). It only matters that I can?t love the same boy as Goop.
This past September, I made a discovery that has made my life a better, happier place: the show New Girl, of course! I fell in TV love with Schmidt, played by Max Greenfield, who’s the kind of guy you lusted after at your cousin’s Bar Mitzvah. I asked him to edit our issue this week. Enjoy. And thank you, Max.
Love,
gp

She hands the reins over to Max and he quickly explains his email-relationship with Gwyneth and in the span of several paragraphs, he manages to poke fun at her famous Duck Ragu recipe, the Oprah/Goop-ification of wishy-washy ?happiness? seeking, and of the endless consumerism that Gwyneth shills. It?s kind of brilliant:
I recently connected with Gwyneth Paltrow and explained to her how much I love goop. Being all that Gwyneth is, she has allowed me to write a piece for the site, which you are now hopefully about to read.
-mg
?Zen and the Art of Goop?
Now that that?s out of the way, my name is Max Greenfield. I am an actor living in Los Angeles and currently play the role of ?Schmidt? on Fox?s New Girl. I am husband to an amazing wife and father to an incredible two-year-old daughter. I am thirty-blah-blah-blah-years-old and have achieved the greatest goal one can achieve — I am happy with my life.
How much of my happiness has to do with the fact that I now e-mail with GP? It?s definitely a percentage. Be it a small one, this is my truth and I am okay with it.
The remainder of my happiness is derived from one simple mantra: ?Stop thinking, surrender and goop?. To the extent that I am able to do this, my life is perfect.
Not thinking can be difficult. Surrender even more so. For example, how am I supposed to be ?Ready for Summer? when I was never ?Ready for Spring?? I could sit on the couch in my Rag & Bone high-neck sweater and spin out on this for a full week and by Thursday all I?m thinking is what a disaster fall is going to be!
Then I remember to stop thinking. I remember that today is just today and that is all that it is. I take a deep breath in and I realize that in this moment I am fine and everything is okay. More importantly, I am reminded that my A.P.C. jeans are so perfectly worn in that they are appropriate for any season and I am suddenly at ease. It is at this moment that I have surrendered.
The third part of my mantra, and perhaps the most important, is goop. I use this as an adjective. The trick to goop is that it is not about me. It’s not about my Scrapbook from Marrakesh or my Dr. Bronner’s Liquid Soap and dare I say it’s not even about Gwyneth. It?s about what I can add to the lives of the people around me. Goop is about giving. It’s about bringing people together.
After all, Gwyneth’s recipe for Duck Ragu was never intended for one. But like I said before, this is not a recipe for Duck Ragu.
[Via Goop]
Greenfield then goes on to list his ?Ten Best? things that he?s into currently. One of them is George Clooney?s Lake Como house, which is kind of awesome. The list is very Schmidt-y and it does make me wonder if Max Greenfield is secretly a lot like Schmidt. So? I?m torn. I?m torn between wanting to hate all things Goop and all things that Goop likes, and wanting Max Greenfield/Schmidt to guest edit all Goop newsletters from here on out.
Here are some photos of Goop leaving a Jay-Z/Kanye concert two nights ago.

| Gwyneth Paltrow's casual airport look: so much cuter than her red carpet looks' | Added 13 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

These are some new photos of Gwyneth Paltrow at Heathrow Airport yesterday, on route to NYC. Doesn?t she look really, really tiny here? Obviously, Dame Gwyneth would never deign to look horribly fat, but usually she looks more substantial than this. Perhaps she?s trying a very special new cleanse and it?s working. Perhaps it?s just a really good pair of jeans. Perhaps it?s the angle of the camera.
I have to admit – except for the boots, I like this outfit. I?ve begun to like Gwyneth?s casual style a lot more than her red carpet style lately. I know some people are all over Gwyneth?s formal looks, but I feel like she?s been phoning it in for a while. Maybe I just like to see her in candid photos, without her horrendous flat-ironing obsession. Look how cute her hair looks without all of the flat-ironing! Of course, she?s still parting her hair down the middle. Does she know that she looks younger and cuter with a side-part?
We mentioned this in the links last week, but it?s worth discussing again. Gwyneth has just signed on to be the new ?face? of Boss Nuit Pour Femme, a new perfume by Hugo Boss. Which brings me to something I?ve been wondering about lately – is Gwyneth poor? I mean, obviously, she?s not ?poor? like the peasantry. But she?s been signing on to a lot of ad campaigns lately. I?m sure her rationale is ?it takes less time to shoot an ad campaign than film a movie? – like it?s all her choice. But I have to wonder – again – if Gwyneth isn?t getting the scripts she thinks she deserves. She really hasn?t worked that much as an actress in the past five years, which makes me think that she consciously supplements her income by taking these modeling jobs as she waits for better scripts.
When the Hugo Boss announcement was made, Gwyneth told WWD, ?To me, the Boss woman is driven, ambitious, and goes after what she wants, but she balances being strong and very feminine at the same time ? characteristics that I strive towards in my own life.? For goodness sake, Goop. Do you need the money that badly?
Last thing – Rashida Jones tweeted this photo of Gwyneth a few days ago – the assumption is that it might have had something to do with Apple?s eighth birthday, which was Monday. Some kind of Cats-themed face-painting birthday party? Sure. Why not? I?d like to note – look how Gwyneth?s face is perfectly painted. Like, she hired the most A-list children?s face-painted in the whole world.

I promised yesterday that I wouldn’t talk any more about the Met Gala, but then I found these pictures of Gwyneth Paltrow in a bonafide mullet dress with half her tit hanging out, and now here we are, talking about the Met Gala again. Okay, so I lied to you. Big deal. People lie all the time. Like when they told you those pants didn’t make your ass look huge, for instance. Get used to it.

| Gwyneth Paltrow in Prada at the Met Gala: mullet-y fugness or ice queen beauty? | Added 13 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Gwyneth Paltrow attended last night?s Met Gala, of course. She comes nearly every year, because it?s like the Mecca of Fashion Girls. Last night?s theme was ?Schiaparelli and Prada ‘Impossible Conversations??. So of course Dame Paltrow wore Prada, instead of her usual ass-kissy Stella McCartney. I actually thought this Prada WAS Stella at first, just because it seems like the cut is off somehow, which seems a hallmark of Stella McCartney?s designs: a bad fit. Anyway, this dress is like the fancier cousin of the mullet dress – it has the soul of a mullet dress, yet I would not really say that it?s a full-on mullet. The color – a pale, icy white-blue-silver (depending on the light) – seems pretty obvious for Goop. She loves her icy, artic colors.
Thoughts on the side-boob? I really do think she had a boob job. Thoughts on the short dress to a gala event? Eh. Gwyneth wasn?t the only girl going with a shorter dress. I think if you?re ever going to wear a full-length gown, it should be to the Met Gala (and the Oscars), but I guess Goop considers herself to be a ?fashion risk taker? and ?rule-breaker?. Plus, she fancies herself ahead of the curve, mullet-wise. Overall, though, I don?t really hate this look on Gwyneth. It?s not groundbreaking, and it?s not surprising. It?s also not bad. The fit could be better, but? I don?t have a hate-on for it.
Goop?s shoes are Prada too, by the way! I really like her shoes, they might be my favorite part. My least favorite part? Her hair. She needs to stop with the center part.

She?s no stranger to high-profile industry shindigs, and Gwyneth Paltrow looked right at home as she arrived at the 2012 Met Gala tonight (May 7) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
The ?Sliding Doors? dame worked her red carpet magic in a halter-style silver Prada dress prior to the ?Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations? event.
The annual fete finds actress Carey Mulligan acting as honorary co-chair valongside designer Miuccia Prada and US Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, while Azealia Banks is lined up to perform.
As for the celebratory occasion, this year's rendition of the Met gala ushers in the 'Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations' exhibition exploring "the striking affinities between Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada, two Italian designers from different eras."
The display is described as being "inspired by Miguel Covarrubias's "Impossible Interviews" for Vanity Fair in the 1930s while featuring "orchestrated conversations between these iconic women to suggest new readings of their most innovative work."

| Gwyneth Paltrow: 'I never understand why mothers judge other mothers' | Added 13 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |
|
|
|
|
|
If I happen to agree with Gwyneth Paltrow on an important topic, can I still find her insufferable? More importantly, can Gwyneth Paltrow, with her history of being insufferable and judgy, really expect me to buy her argument that mothers are simply too judgy of other mothers? This is my dilemma today. Us Weekly has some transcribed excerpts of Gwyneth?s new interview on Lifetime?s new show, The Conversation With Amanda de Cadenet. Sidenote: Amanda de Cadenet is an English rock-star-wife and ?personality? – you can read her Wiki here. Anyway, Goop is the first guest on this new show, and they ended up talking about postpartum depression and how judgment-laden mothers are of other mothers. It?s the new ?trend? in parenting: judging other people?s parenting skills, whether it?s breastfeeding or diet or even how you style a child?s hair. Do I hate the ?mothers judging mothers? thing? Yep. Do I think Gwyneth is absolutely full of it because she will judge you and anyone else with one upturned nose? Yep.
Shortly after giving birth to her son Moses in April 2006, Gwyneth Paltrow suffered from postpartum depression.
“I couldn’t connect with my son the way that I had with my daughter [Apple, now 7] and I couldn’t understand why,” she said on Thursday’s premiere episode of Lifetime’s The Conversation With Amanda de Cadenet. “I couldn’t connect to anyone. I felt like a zombie. I felt very detached.”
Paltrow, 39, continued: “I just didn’t know what was wrong with me. I couldn’t figure it out. It never occurred to me. My husband [Chris Martin, 35] actually said, ‘Something’s wrong. I think you have postnatal depression.’ I was mortified. ‘No I don’t!’ And then I started researching what it was and the symptoms and I was like, ‘Oh, yes I do.’”
Paltrow isn’t alone. Brooke Shields, Courteney Cox, Bryce Dallas Howard and Amanda Peet are just a handful of celebrities who’ve experienced similar symptoms, and as many as one in five women in the United States will suffer from postpartum depression.
“We think that it makes us bad mothers or we didn’t do it right, but it’s like, we’re all in this together,” Paltrow said. “I never understand why mothers judge other mothers, like, ‘What do you mean you didn’t breastfeed? What do you mean you didn’t do this?’ It’s like, ‘Can’t we all just be on each other’s side?’ It’s so hard anyway. Can’t we all help each other get through it? There’s a shame attached to it because if you say, ‘I had a baby and I couldn’t connect to the baby,’ it’s like, ‘What is wrong with you?’”
Though the Country Strong actress believes “you never totally get rid of it,” being open about her struggle with postpartum depression made it easier to cope.
“That’s why I talk about it, because even the awareness of it started to diminish it,” Paltrow explained. “Because I didn’t feel like I’m dying or I’m crazy — period. It’s like, ‘Oh, this is a thing. This is a real thing and these are the symptoms and I have them all.’”
[From Us Weekly]
I?m partly taking Gwyneth as face value – I think she means what she says about not wanting to judge or be judged about mothering choices. She means it in the moment, and that moment is right. But when she returns to her normal Goopy self, she will continue to judge you for feeding your children anything but organic food. She will judge you for not doing three postpartum juice-cleanses. She will judge you for not working out after you had the baby. What Goop is really saying that is that YOU shouldn?t judge HER.
