Apparently in the upcoming issue of BlackBook, they revamped Claire Danes’ image. They write,
BlackBook magazine has completely revamped Claire Danes? image with a sexy new ?powerhouse? look for the cover of the September Fall Fashion issue (on newsstands next week). Shot in the penthouse of Manhattan?s Cooper Square Hotel, and inspired by the ?Greed Decade?, the shoot shows Danes in an entirely new light and is one of the last major photo shoots before her marriage to Hugh Dancy next month.
At one point Danes found herself flat on her back, legs in mid-air, with two stylists yanking boots down on each foot: ?I?ve never felt so infantilized in my life.? However, she looked anything but infant-like in the shoot, clad in high-heel boots, fishnets, and cropped, slicked hair.
Danes? career is also going from strength to strength with new productions, including Richard Linklater?s upcoming film ?Me and Orson Welles? (starring alongside Zac Efron), and a controversial new movie, ?Temple Grandin.?
No offense, but that was really long-winded. They could have just as easily chopped those three paragraphs down to “TITS!” Simple, concise and straight to the point. That’s why people send me pictures, right? Or am I seriously confused?

Now that engaged Claire Danes is about to have a marriage of her own, she?s no longer okay with cheating and infidelities. Several years ago Danes was considered the cause behind Billy Crudup?s leaving Mary Louise Parker - then seven months pregnant at the time ? for Danes. The pair moved in together, but the old saying about ?once a cheater, always a cheater? proved true: she cheated on Crudup with Hugh Dancy, who she met while filming ?Evening.? Now she and Dancy are engaged, and suddenly Claire?s had a change of heart on the whole cheating issue.
Claire Danes, who was famously blamed for breaking up ex-boyfriend Billy Crudup’s relationship with a pregnant Mary-Louise Parker, has subsequently given a lot of thought to the subject of monogamy. “I was talking to my friend about [whether it] is feasible, is it realistic?” Danes muses in September’s BlackBook, adding, “I resolved that there isn’t really a better model. We just can’t shake monogamy. It definitely demands a kind of rigor and discipline and selflessness. But it’s also fun.” Danes is now engaged to Brit actor Hugh Dancy.

Waste. Of. Time. I have a hard time believing that Claire is capable of the selflessness she mentioned. It?s hard to champion a woman who cheats with a guy who has a seven-months pregnant girlfriend. People will make all sorts of arguments about ?Oh, their relationship must have already been broken if he cheated,? and ?he?s just as responsible as she is,? yada yada. All true. So she bears some of the blame.
I always felt so badly for Mary Louise Parker, who by all accounts was very gracious about the whole thing, especially considering she and Billy had been together for seven years. Claire had been with singer Ben Lee for about the same length of time. It seems like she can be faithful, but only for relatively short periods. Of course now her whole opinion?s changed. Perhaps as Claire gets older she realizes what goes around comes around, and that?s got to be frightening for her. But really, what a terrible quote to give. She?s just asking to open herself up to all kinds of scrutiny and claims of hypocrisy.

She’s always been pretty private when it comes to her personal life, but yesterday (March 4) Claire Danes showed off her new engagement ring for the world to see.
The “Igby Goes Down” hottie looked chic as she made her way to lunch with a friend in Beverly Hills, sporting a beige sweater with a colorful scarf teamed with a pair of jeans and black heels.
An enthusiastic fan of theater, Miss Danes is scheduled to appear at the 2009-2010 “Focus on Russia” series at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
Showcasing various artists with disabilities, the upcoming season will feature everyone from the Mariinsky Balley and Opera performing “War and Peace” to a new play called “Golden Age.”

Still glowing from her recent engagement, Claire Danes was all smiles at the 2009 Film Independent’s Spirit Awards in Santa Monica on Saturday (February 21).
The “Stardust” starlet was accompanied to the annual ceremony by fiance Hugh Dancy, with the two posing side-by-side after Claire finished making her rounds to the VIP gift lounges.

Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy have become engaged. Danes, 29, has been dating the British actor for more than a year, reports People Magazine, but if my memory serves, I think it?s been closer to two years. After ?breaking up? (perhaps the term ?homewrecking? applies?) Billy Crudup and a very pregnant Mary-Louise Parker in 2004, Danes and Crudup dated for about three years.
Allegedly, Danes and Crudup broke up towards the end of 2006, which is around the time she met Hugh Dancy. She and Dancy met while filming the film Evening. Danes confirmed her relationship with Dancy the summer of 2007. So, yeah, I?m probably right and People?s not - they?ve been together closer to two years.
Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy will be getting married, a rep for the pair confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.
Danes, 29, and Dancy, 33, met while filming Evening in Newport, R.I., and had been dating for more than a year.
The couple recently stepped out at the Screen Actors Guild and Directors Guild awards in Los Angeles.

Ordinarily, I would make a bad joke about the name ?Hugh Dancy?, but I really like the guy. I saw him first in The Jane Austen Book Club, and he is really cute. The couple currently lives in New York, where they are likely to stay. I just looked up Dancy?s filmography, and I am surprised to learn he was in Basic Instinct 2! Yikes. He?s also the love interest in that horrible-looking film Confessions of a Shopaholic, probably one of the worst-timed film releases in history. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Arriving alongside boyfriend Hugh Dancy, Claire Danes was on-hand for The 61st Annual DGA Awards held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles on Saturday night (January 31).
Looking stunning in a flowing blue dress, the 29-year-old “Stardust” sweetheart was in attendance as one of the evening’s presenters, joining the likes of Sean Penn, Amy Adams, Christian Bale and Michelle Monaghan.
