Earlier today I had pictures of Anne Hathaway in a lame ass see through dress for Paris Fashion Week and now I’ve got her dressed as a corpse for something called The White Fairy Tale Love Ball. I don’t get it, does she want us to completely stop thinking of her in a sexual manner?

Anne Hathaway is still in France, like she was yesterday, when she was the guest of honor at the Valentino show. These are pics from last night?s White Fairy Tale Love Ball at the Chateau de Wideville in Crespieres, France. I believe she was the guest of honor at this event as well, and she posed for photos with Valentino, who looks like a gigantic ham. Is it just me? Am I just hungry? Anyway, Anne is wearing Valentino, of course. I?ve talked about this issue I have with pale girls wearing white before, and I specifically remember bringing it up with Anne before - she looks washed out when she wears white and cream. And she?s ALWAYS wearing white for formal events or red carpets. The affect tends towards ghostly and corpsey, and it?s totally unnecessary, considering Anne looks amazing in jewel tones, as we know. All of that being said? I like the dress. I like that Anne is styled like a princess-fairy. It?s a cute effect, overall.
When we were talking about Anne?s mob widow style yesterday, a lot of pointed out that something weird is happening with her nose. I agree! I?m not saying ?Bitch got tweaked? - at all. If anything, her nose looks larger than before. I have a theory, and it?s kind of mean. Remember when Ashlee Simpson got her nose job, and then years later, people started saying that her old nose was growing back? I wonder if that?s happening to Anne. Like, she got tweaked years ago, and her old, original nose is slowly creeping back. Or it could just be a deviated septum.

Looking princess-like as she stepped out for a good cause, Anne Hathaway dazzled at 'The White Fairy Tale Love Ball' at Chateau de Wideville in Crespieres, France on Wednesday night (July 6).
Held in support of The Naked Heart Foundation, the Oscar winning actress was decked out head to toe in Valentino garb as she joined the famous designer Valentino Garavani at the annual event.
As for the cause, The Naked Heart Foundation has a stated mission "to provide a safe and inspiring environment in which to play for every child living in urban Russia."
The praiseworthy effort actually just launched a new program based on the principle that: ?Every Child Deserves to have a Family? - which supports the implementation of new and development of existing family support centers.

Here are some new photos of Anne Hathaway today at the Valentino show for Paris Fashion Week. Annie is wearing Valentino, of course. At first, I was all ?Meh, Mob widow much?? But check out the bottom of the dress - it?s totally transparent! Not Anne?s usual style, at all. Of course, I?d be hard-pressed to really define Anne?s style - Rachel Zoe is her stylist, and Rachel has put Anne in some horrendous things in the past, almost like Zoe is hypnotized by Anne?s pale skin and dark hair and eyes, and doesn?t know how to dress someone not blonde and tan. Over the past year, Anne has been working a more sophisticated style (especially during her fashion show at the Oscars), but this Valentino number just shows that Anne still needs to learn the power of saying ?NO.?
Meanwhile, it seems like Anne is looking so fit and slim because she?s currently filming The Dark Knight Rises, where she will playing Catwoman. Hollywood Life recently had some details about the Catwoman suit Anne will be wearing:

?Anne?s outfit is more tactical, like the comic book, than the previous Batman movies,? a source very close to the costume design tells us exclusively. ?She will definitely be wearing the goggles and it?s going to be less sexy than Halle Berry and Michelle Pfeiffer?s Catwoman costumes. She?s going to look more like a robber.?
Adds the insider, ?But fan boys shouldn?t be worried. This costume is going to be form-fitting enough to make Anne look smoking hot.?
We cannot wait to see Anne ? who says she?s been working out non-stop to get in shape for the role ? as Catwoman. As we previously reported, a source on set told us the 28-year-old actress is dominating in the role and will blow audiences out of the water.
?Everything from the looks in her eyes, her head movements, her body?everything is so feline. The role is taking her to new places,? the insider said.

Goggles. Tactical. Feline. Not bad. I didn?t hate Michelle Pfeiffer?s Catwoman suit, though - it looked painful, but I thought it seemed fun. Hallen Berry?s suit was just awful, though. Like a budget stripper in a kitty mask. I wonder if Anne?s suit will be latex, leather or perhaps some other material? We?ll see.

Spending the weekend taking in a little tennis, Anne Hathaway and boyfriend Adam Shulman were courtside at Wimbledon on Saturday (July 2).
The cute couple sat alongside tennis legend Billie Jean King as they watched the Ladies' final round match between Maria Sharapova of Russia and Petra Kvitova of the Czech Republic at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.
Having been together for two and a half years, Miss Hathaway recently called her relationship with Shulman as being "mellow," as she told Harper's Bazaar, "So far, it's worked out great."
Of settling into a laid back romance, Anne said of her previously dramatic dating situations, "(They) had their wonderful side, of course ... but also it was exhausting, and sometimes it would freak me out."
She added, "Mellow doesn't always make for a good story, but it makes for a good life."

Anne Hathaway is the August cover girl of Harper?s Bazaar, all to promote her role as Emma in One Day, a film that I will not be seeing. Okay, I might see it. But I won?t be happy about it. If you?ve read One Day, you know the story, and you can probably see how Anne is a decent choice for Emma, although the choice of Jim ?Pillow Weeper? Sturgess as Dexter is still perplexing. Dexter is supposed to be a pretty boy who falls apart, spectacularly? is Jim pretty enough? Eh. Anyway, the Bazaar piece is an easy read, and Anne is a perfectly pleasant young woman. My affection for her has grown significantly over the past few years, and it?s at an all-time high after her performance as Oscar cohost this year, where Anne worked her ass off and James Franco was like a bump on a log. Anne talks about James briefly, and she?s still being classy about it. You can read the full piece here - and here are some highlights:
Preparing for Catwoman: Anne’s preparation for her role as Catwoman in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises, the next Batman installment (currently filming in Pittsburgh), has been more than cosmetic. She has been working out five days a week ? rigorous exercise and stunt training followed by an hour and a half of dance. “I’ve always thought that skinny was the goal, but with this job I also have to be strong,” she says.
Brokeback Mountain: “I think people assumed that I was a girl searching for a happily-ever-after, when for me that’s the least interesting part of the story,” she says. “With Brokeback, I got to go beyond that.”
Being timid: Outwardly, she was a beautiful star with the extravagant mouth and energy bubbling up like Old Faithful, but Anne was filled with self-doubt. “I could have traveled the world with a backpack and would have gotten nothing from it,” she says with a rueful laugh. “I was just this lost, timid person.”
On James Franco and cohosting the Oscars: That puts perspective to the Oscars and the impossible task of making the show fresh. While Anne was dancing as fast as she could, her laconic cohost seemed sleepy. “How did I take it?” she says mildly about Franco’s comments on Letterman. “I let James know that a whirling dervish is a more flattering comparison than a Tasmanian devil. I called him, and we e-mailed a bit.” She is sanguine about the whole experience. “In the grand scheme of things, I got to have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I met great people, wore beautiful clothes. And I got to put on a show. I don’t see a downside. Anyone who disliked my personality probably disliked my personality before the Oscars.”
Love & Other Drugs and nudity: “I don’t get hung up on nudity. To me, it was just an extension of who she was. It was real.”
On her new film, One Day: “Every girl feels she’s Emma Morley,” she says. “There’s so much growth that happens in your 20s. To me, the character felt very authentic to that experience.”
Anne?s a vegetarian: Anne’s looking ridiculously cheerful, we go off to have lunch at a vegan spot. She orders a plate of basil soy protein with an unfathomable eagerness. A vegetarian, she started eating meat while dating Follieri because, as she once said, it was “easier for the lifestyle at that time.”
Being a people-pleaser: “There’s something very addictive about people pleasing,” she says. “It’s a thought pattern and a habit that feels really, really good until it becomes desperate. It’s one of the reasons that relationship ended. I wasn’t able to grow or foster anything. I think a lot of girls have that story. It’s a big moment when you step away from that and say, ‘I’m going to be exactly who I am. And I’m going to be brave enough to only be with someone who wants me the way I am.’”
Her current relationship with actor Adam Shulman: “So far, it’s worked out great,” she says matter-of-factly, observing that she used to get caught up in the intensity of a romance. “Which has its wonderful side, of course,” she adds with a half shrug, “but also it was exhausting, and sometimes it would freak me out. Mellow doesn’t always make for a good story, but it makes for a good life.”
Anne the student: Her calm is matched by her eagerness to learn. When I casually ask what she is reading, she tells me The Edge of Physics. “It’s about this one man’s explorations around the world to visit all the experiments being done to further cosmology,” she explains. “It’s fascinating! All about neutrinos and dark matter.” Anne, who was attending Vassar when The Princess Diaries was released in 2001, says that if she ever returned to college, “I would probably focus on philosophy, theology, and physics.”
On fashion: Talking about fashion, Anne says she “feels like the luckiest girl in the world when I get to wear all these glamorous clothes,” but away from the red carpet, she is decidedly more moderate, insisting on wearing pieces that she owns, especially favorites like Isabel Marant and Vivienne Westwood. “I’ve become a lot more specific about what I love and why I’m doing it,” she says.

I do believe that Anne is probably a dorky people-pleaser good-girl in real life. I used to not buy that from her - I thought she was probably more of a high-maintenance princess, especially when she was with that con artist. But Anne has grown up a lot, and I think this current incarnation suits her. I mean, she?s one of the most in-demand young actresses out there, and she?s definitely on the right track to win an Oscar someday soon. So, this is definitely working.

She?s never one to miss out on a snazzy shindig, and last night (June 23) Anne Hathaway was in the house for the 13th Annual White Tie & Tiara Ball.
The ?Princess Diaries? dame looked absolutely breathtaking in a fancy cleavage-bearing dress as she hobnobbed with fellow attendees.
As for her upcoming role as Catwoman, Anne told press that having such an iconic role has caused her to up the ante on her performance.
"It makes you work harder. I am taking a chance that something may not work but there is a certain satisfaction that, at the end of the day, I did everything I could."

I?ve been calling Jim Sturgess a pillow-weeper for so long, I kind of forgot that he doesn?t just exist as a vague, watery-eyed image that speaks ?One thrust and weeps into a pillow? for everyone. He?s in a new movie with Anne Hathaway called One Day, and the trailer was just recently released. Now, I read the book (by David Nicholls) several months ago after Lainey raved about it. I really, really enjoyed the book until the last 60 pages or so, but I won?t spoil the story for you. So here?s what the film is about in broad terms: Anne plays Emma (?Em?), a studious, dorky, funny English girl, and Jim plays Dexter (?Dex?), a hip, cool, English boy. They meet on their graduation day at University of Edinburgh in 1988. The book follows them for the next twenty years, year after year on the same day that they met. Here?s the trailer:
I don?t hate the trailer. Lainey does - she thinks the trailer makes the film sound like one of those interchangeable Jennifer Aniston/Katherine Heigl rom-coms. Considering that I ended up hating the book (after loving the first three quarters of it), I tend to think the trailer gives me a nice taste of what to expect. I?m not too impressed with what I heard of Anne?s accent work, but I?m impressed with how grungy and dorky Anne is looking - Em is supposed to be quite a hot mess for a number of years, so at least they?re not making her ?Hollywood dorky? - which is like giving Anne a blowout, a face full of perfect makeup, and then just putting glasses on her. Anne looks truly flat-out unattractive in some of the little clips, so good for her and good for them.
As for Jim? damn, I find myself being attracted to a pillow-weeper. What is the world coming to? He looks really skuzzy-hot in parts of the trailer. YAY! Huzzah for pillow-weepers!
But still, I know what happens, so I probably won’t see this in the theater. But now I know that I’ll be renting it.

It looks like the great summer romantic flick will be arriving July 8th- ?One Day? just released the official trailer and it?s nothing short of intriguing.
The film stars Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess as a could-be couple who spend the night together on their college graduation.
And the basic premise is that they revisit each other each year on the same date to see how their lives have progressed.
Sometimes their visits are by phone and others are in person, but either way it?s an emotional roller coaster.
