Posh is going to be pissed! Rumors abound in the fashion world that Victoria Beckham is about to be axed as the face of Marc Jacobs. Not just fired, but replaced with a younger American star - Anne Hathaway.
Posh became ?the face? of Marc Jacobs in 2008. Some of the print ads were really cute, like the one of Posh in one of the oversized Marc Jacobs purses, with only her legs hanging out. When Posh launched her own clothing line in late 2008, some people took note of how similar some of her pieces were to some of Marc?s designs. The horror! Even though Marc and Posh still seemed to have a professional and personal friendship, word around the street was that Marc was looking for a new face. He may have found his new muse with Anne Hathaway.
Victoria Beckham may have been replaced in the affections of one of the men in her life. Fortunately it is not her husband David, but her friend and designer Marc Jacobs who is on the look out for a new leading lady. Jacobs unveiled Beckham as the face of his eponymous line in 2008 but, with the former Spice Girl focusing on her own design collection, he is reportedly courting a younger woman; actress Anne Hathaway.
Hathaway appeared last week in Beverley Hills to present Italian design legend Valentino with his Walk of Style award. The young actress was nominated for a Best Actress award at this year’s Oscars and was highly acclaimed for her role in 2005’s Brokeback Mountain, but latterly her red carpet appearances have stolen the headlines.
“Marc and Anne have forged a fast but very intense friendship,” a friend of the star revealed to the Mail on Sunday. “They’re going to start doing public appearances together soon.”
“Anne hasn’t signed up to do any advertising yet but, by dressing her, Marc can infuse his line with a fresh but famous face and Anne can revamp her image,” the source continued. “If it works well, Anne would be happy to model for some of Marc’s campaigns.”

Yes, I?m sure Anne would be ?happy? to model for Marc Jacobs. Spare me! A Marc Jacobs contract is one of the most sought-after modeling gigs in fashion. It has the ?cool? factor, it pays well, the ads are hip and fresh, and it?s great exposure for any actress or model. Anne should be thanking her lucky stars that Marc Jacobs is interested in her, even if it?s just a rumor.

Valentino Garavani is the latest designer to be honoured with a Rodeo Drive Walk of Style Award. He is the 13th recipient of the award, which has also been been bestowed upon Giorgio Armani, Tom Ford, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Manolo Blahnik. Introducing Valentino was Anne Hathaway, who spoke of her nerves whenever she met with the famed designer.“I wanted to be perfect in Valentino for Valentino,” she said, while dressed in one of his silk floral dresses.

Anne Hathaway continues to make my pants happy this morning! Anne was at the premiere of Valentino: The Last Emperor, and these are some of the better pictures of her. Anne is definitely a conundrum to me because sometimes the actress looks less than her best, but other times she's a stunner! Either way, Anne Hathaway is hotter than most of the girls I meet daily. I haven't decided if that's good news of Anne or really bad news for me. Probably the latter...damn.

There?s this rumor going around that Anne Hathaway is trying to be Angelina Jolie. I had never heard the rumor until today, but apparently the rumor was out there. It bothered Anne Hathaway so much she felt she had to respond with an explicit denial. Anne says she loves Angelina, but is only trying copy Angelina?s approach to fame. Showbiz Spy has more:
Anne Hathaway has denied she models herself on Angelina Jolie.
The Devil Wears Prada actress - who recently revealed a fake tan left her “looking like an orange zebra” - says although she admires the Tomb Raider star, she only tries to copy Jolie’s attitude to fame.
She explains, “I love Angelina, I think she is beautiful - but it is not my aim to be just like her. I admire what she does greatly. She uses her fame in a good way - and that is what I hope to do too: to make a difference.?
“Aside from getting a nice table at a nice restaurant and occasionally getting free clothes, fame can begin to seem very empty. And if you do not take certain steps to use it for something good it can really consume you and make you completely self-obsessed.”

Of course this is being billed as ?Anne Hathaway Hates Angelina, Wants Her Dead?. Whatever. What probably happened is Anne got a weird question about Angelina for some reason, and was trying to be polite.
The same thing happened to Brian Cranston, the dad from ?Malcolm in the Middle? and the meth dealer in AMC?s ?Breaking Bad?. He sat down with Esquire for an interview, and the Esquire guy questioning him is kind of a tool. The way the question and answer is worded, it makes it sound like Cranston thinks Brad Pitt is an utterly untalented actor. Which Cranston really might think, but the wording is weird. Here?s an excerpt from the interview:
ESQ: Actors who say they have techniques for “going to their dark place” are bullshitting, right?
BC: Actors are inherently self-centered. We’re trained to focus on who I am. What do I want? Who is in my way? How do I get this? That’s how we’re trained. Unfortunately, that sometimes spills over into real life. But it’s all very subjective. You just try to portray someone beyond the surface, the different layers.
ESQ: So why can you do that and, say, Brad Pitt can’t?
BC: Talent has something to do with it. Opportunity. You will not have an acting career without luck. How can you prepare for that? I love acting because it’s empowering. It empowers me.
ESQ:Who are some actors you admire? Sorry, I hate that question.
BC: Then why are you asking?
ESQ: Because I’m trying to figure out how the guy who played the dad on a cartoony comedy ended up the guy on this show, and those role models might help shed some light.
BC: Well, look at Michael Chiklis: He was on Daddio, and he’s a very good actor, and he had an opportunity for The Shield. Most actors have the chops to do it, but are they going to get an opportunity? Denis Leary. Ted Danson on Damages. Look at what he does.
ESQ: I still don’t accept him as anyone but Sam Malone.
BC: Jason Alexander, a friend of mine, says they will be inexorably tied to those characters. It’s the other side of the double-edged knife. He’s doing everything he can to not associate with that role. I’m very fortunate Malcolm wasn’t as successful as Seinfeld.

The Esquire guy is a douche, right? The reason Jason Alexander is tied to his ?Seinfeld? role is because he?s not a very talented actor and he got lucky once. Ted Danson, on the other hand, is enormously talented, and has had a varied and challenging career post-?Cheers?. I do think Brian Cranston will probably go more the Ted Danson route in his career. He just won an Emmy for his role on ?Breaking Bad? and the show is a word-of-mouth hit. But he probably won?t be working with Brad anytime soon.

Even though she walked away from the Oscars empty handed, Anne Hathaway was just thrilled to find herself as a nominee at the prestigious annual event for her work in “Rachel Getting Married”.
Since her weekend Academy Awards stop in Los Angeles, the 26-year-old brunette beauty has been traveling about the country, most recently spotted passing through Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport on Tuesday (February 24).

There’s always a division in me when it comes to Anne Hathaway. There are parts of me that do not think that Anne is attractive at all besides her beautiful breasts. Then there are times, like these pictures from GQ Russia, that I think Anne is one hot mama that I can’t stop fantasizing about! These pictures are pretty hot (probably the sexiest I have ever seen of Anne), and my only wish was that I got to see more of what I like about Anne. Nevertheless, these pictures of Anne Hathaway has turned me back towards the “Anne is hot” side of my thinking! Hopefully she keeps this up!

I can’t get past Anne Hathaway’s exaggerated features. If you drew a caricature of her, she’d just be two eyes, a nose and a gaping mouth on roller skates. Plus, she’s so white and reflective. Depending on the time of day, you’d probably get sunburned if you stood next to her. One time I tried to throw a snowball at her, but she harnessed the Sun’s rays and melted it before it even touched her.

The “Bride Wars” babe looked perfect and pristine in a shimmery silver strapless floor-length dress as she posed outside the Kodak Theatre.
