The Academy Awards are just a few short days away, and hosts Anne Hathaway and James Franco are fully prepared to execute their duties.
The ?Get Smart? hottie and the ?127 Hours? stud appear in a new video in which they endure a grueling Oscar training camp.
The chuckle-inducing clip shows James and Anne preparing for the worst possible scenarios including long acceptance speeches, naked stage streakers, and of course the wardrobe malfunction.
The 83rd Annual Academy Awards is this Sunday, February 27th at 8pm on the ABC Network.

These are photos of Anne Hathaway at a press screening of Rio, an animated film where Anne did some voice work. It?s not a premiere, it?s a screening, so there was no need for Anne to get dressed up in her finest or anything. And maybe that?s the problem - this is how Anne puts together a ?casual? outfit. I mean? did Rachel Zoe pick this Marni top and bottom out for her? Or is this entirely Anne?s doing? I really, really hate to think that she chose that sweater herself. It?s like a crop-top ?90s version of something Freddy Krueger would have worn. And the pants might have been cute? in a different situation. Like, without that sweater.
Still, I can?t hate on Anne. She?s beautiful and talented and she lets Rachel Zoe put her in the worst crap, which makes her accessible. I have high hopes for her and James Franco at the Oscars - as hosts, I think they?ll end up surprising us all, and knocking it out of the park. Fingers crossed. Here are some of their cute promos:

Stepping out for her new movie, Anne Hathaway partook in a special "Sneak Beak" screening of "Rio" in Los Angeles on Friday (January 28).
Dressed casually for the affair, the Oscar co-host took to the 20th Century Fox Studio Zanuck Theater locale while joining up with fellow co-stars including Jamie Foxx and George Lopez.
The animated film is set to hit theater on April 15, 2011, with Miss Hathaway portraying the voice of a character named Jewel.
A synopsis of the movie via IMDB tells: "When Blu, a domesticated macaw from small-town Minnesota, meets the fiercely independent Jewel, he takes off on an adventure to Rio de Janeiro with this bird of his dreams."
Aside from "Rio," Anne is also gearing up to take the stage alongside James Franco to co-host the 2011 Academy Awards next month.

Big news for Batman fans — the role of Catwoman and Bane have finally been cast for the final installment of Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy. Yahoo News says:
Warner Bros just announced that Anne Hathaway will play Selina Kyle — who is more commonly known as “Catwoman” — and that Tom Hardy, of Nolan’s “Inception,” will play Bane.
It is definitely worth noting that the Warner Bros. release never says the word “Catwoman.” That could mean that Hathaway will be playing Kyle before she turns into Catwoman, or that the studio is trying to play a little coy with the announcement of an iconic Batman love-interest-cum-villain.
Cum-villain? I’d have thought Lindsay Lohan would be a shoo-in for that. Her agent really dropped the ball on that one!

I TOLD YOU. I told you Anne Hathaway was the best candidate in the alleged field of women rumored to be auditioning for the new Batman film. According to the studio?s official press release (via HuffPo), Anne has been cast as Catwoman in Batman: The Dark Knight Rises. Oh, and Tom Hardy?s in the mix too. Let?s all bow down and give thanks that Jessica Biel or Keira Knightley or Naomi Watts didn?t get the role. Although? there was another rumored woman I did like a lot too - Eva Green. Damn, Eva would have made a really good Catwoman too, wouldn?t she?
Warner Bros. Pictures announced today that Anne Hathaway has been cast as Selina Kyle in Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight Rises.” She will be starring alongside Christian Bale, who returns in the title role of Bruce Wayne/Batman.
Christopher Nolan stated, “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Anne Hathaway, who will be a fantastic addition to our ensemble as we complete our story.”
In addition, Tom Hardy has been set to play Bane. Nolan said, “I am delighted to be working with Tom again and excited to watch him bring to life our new interpretation of one of Batman’s most formidable enemies.”
Nolan will direct the film from a screenplay he wrote with Jonathan Nolan, from a story by Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer. Nolan will also produce the film with his longtime producing partner, Emma Thomas, and Charles Roven.
“The Dark Knight Rises” is slated for release on July 20, 2012. The film will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

I know some of you think Anne is rather squirrelly, but ever since I saw her in Rachel Getting Married, my respect for her has grown and grown. She?s one of the best actresses of her generation, and she?s also one of the most diverse. She can do hi-brow comedy (The Devil Wears Prada, Love and Other Drugs), low-brow action-comedy (Get Smart), straight drama (Brokeback Mountain, Rachel Getting Married, etc), period drama (Becoming Jane), and now she?s trying a comic book adaptation. I think Anne can handle it. I?m really happy for her. And you know she?ll look good in the catsuit. Please.

Arriving on an incoming flight, Anne Hathaway was spotted at LAX International Airport last night (January 17).
The ?Love and Other Drugs? actress was none too pleased to see a swarm of shutterbugs waiting for her as she exited the terminal and drove off.
Ms. Hathaway recently made a bid to appear on ?Glee? and presented co-creator Ryan Murphy with a full-on proposal.
Murphy explained, ?She wants to play Chris Colfer?s lesbian aunt- she presented the whole episode, she came up with the songs. I love her and would definitely be interested.?

It?s no secret that she?s expressed a desire for a guest spot on Fox?s ?Glee,? and now Anne Hathaway has gotten her wish.
While attending Sunday night?s Golden Globes, the ?Love & Other Drugs? babe - along with her agents - chatted it up with the show?s executive producer, Brad Falchuck.
Of the spontaneous meeting, Falchuck told UsMagazine, "Tonight, she and her agents made a deal. She came over and talked to [?Glee's? creator] Ryan [Murphy] about wanting to come on the show. And there you have it!"
"It was her idea, and [with] someone like her, it's sort of hard to say no!" Falchuck added. "We don't generally get excited about guest stars just for the sake of guest stars, but when you have someone like Gwyneth [Paltrow] or Anne Hathaway, where you can say 'They are amazing,'...they are big gifts to you."
Word has it, Ms Hathaway will be playing Chris Colfer?s ?Glee? character Kurt Hummel?s lesbian aunt.

She?s one half of the Academy Awards-hosting duo, and last night (December 16) Anne Hathaway had a very important question for the students of P.S. 22?s Chorus- Do you want to go to Hollywood?
According to Gossip Cop, the ?Get Smart? hottie was in the house for the New York City school?s Annual Winter Concert, and at the end of the gig, she invited the pint-sized singers to come perform at the Oscars.
Of course, all the kids began screaming and jumping around once they heard that they?d be performing at the high-profile affair.
Following the pandemonium, Anne sang ?Jingle Bells? with the choir to celebrate the great evening.

Anne Hathaway comes in as Katie Holmes at 2:20
On her SNL guest host gig about three weeks ago, Anne Hathaway did an amusing impersonation of Katie Holmes. Anne affected a soft voice and curled half her mouth up in a skit playing Holmes on a talk show hosted by “Miley Cyrus.” Anne later explained that she was a “big fan” and was channeling Holmes circa Dawson’s Creek in the late 90s. The impersonation was pretty accurate for how Holmes talks out of the side of her mouth in breathy superlatives and it didn’t seem like a tribute to Holmes’ Dawson’s era. If anything Holmes was bubblier and more outspoken when she was younger. (Here’s a recent interview with Holmes and here’s an interview with her in 1999. She’s spacier now and the mouth curl thing is more pronounced.)
According to the National Enquirer, Holmes saw that impersonation and is furious at Hathaway for mocking her. This might be made up, but it’s still funny enough to repeat. Katie is allegedly planning to turn the tables and mock Anne on Saturday Night Live, if they ever let her host again.
“Katie is feeling really hurt and less than thrilled about Anne,” according to an insider.
In an effort to make sure there are no hard feelings, Anne offered an explanation of her hilarious send up of Katie, who got her first big break on the TV series “Dawson’s Creek.”
Anne, 28, told a reporter: “I was a teenager when ‘Dawson’s Creek’ was airing. And I was a pretty avid fan, so it just sort of came from that. It wasn’t really Katie Holmes; it was more [her Dawson's character] Joey Potter.”
But Katie, 32, isn’t buying it, insiders say.
“Katie says she can take a joke but she thinks Anne’s backpedaling is ridiculous and insincere,” confided a pal close to the “Batman Begins” actress. “She and Anne have auditioned for some of the same roles, so there’s always been competition between them.”
Now, Katie and her hubby Tom Cruise, who’s terrific at impersonations, have cooked up a plan to get revenge against Anne…
“With Tom’s help, Katie has come up with a pretty dead-on impersonation of Anne,” the source divulged. “Katie has hosted ‘SNL’ in the past, and she can’t wait to reveal it on the air.”

You know that Holmes is really jealous of the fact that Hathaway has a great career and a lot of opportunities while she’s stuck doing miniseries and spending her time blowing her husband’s cash at Barneys and planning designer outfits for her four year-old. She should take a look at Nicole Kidman’s career and realize that Tom Cruise, with all his wealth and connections, only brings his wives down. Then again, it’s not like she’s supremely talented. She did that Pieces of April movie and I guess she was OK in The Romantics but I doubt we’d be hearing so much about her if she didn’t marry Cruise. If she was still with what’s his drunken douche face she wouldn’t even be fodder for mocking on SNL.
