Leaving her baby boy Bronx home for the evening, Ashlee Simpson was spotted arriving at the InStyle Magazine Summer Soiree last night (August 20).
The “Pieces of Me” songstress looked lovely as she posed for the paparazzi, sporting a slinky strapless silver minidress with strands of pearls.
And Ashlee was all about schmoozing with the A-list crowd throughout the night, chatting with Katie Cassidy and Ariel Foxman.
Coming up next month, Ms. Simpson will be a weekly staple on televisions across America when her new show “Melrose Place” kicks of the fall season on Tuesday, September 8th.

As the fall television season quickly approaches, Ashlee Simpson was back out promoting “Melrose Place” at the 2009 TCA CW Summer Press Tour on Tuesday (August 4).
Held at The Langham Hotel & Spa in Pasadena, Miss Simpson looked cute as she posed for pictures outside the venue before joining in on a panel discussion.
Talking about balancing her mothering obligations with 8-month-old son Bronx and her filming duties for “Melrose Place,” Ashlee recently said that it hasn’t been all that difficult.
“It’s been good so far,” she said. “For me, I wanted to do something that’s a bit more stable, and it’s been that, which has been perfect. And we get to travel. We’ve been to Paris, Japan, everywhere with my son. And he’s so happy and healthy. I’m very fortunate he’s on a good schedule.”

Enjoying a little sisterly fun over the weekend, Jessica and Ashlee Simpson ventured out to Katsuya restaurant for a late night dinner in Hollywood on Saturday (August 1).
Joined by Jess’s BFF hairstylist Ken Paves, the Simpson sisters chowed down on their Japanese cuisine, with Jessica looking as if she thoroughly enjoyed the drink menu, as well.
Earlier in the day, Ashlee made sure to tend to her motherly duties - as she was spotted by paparazzi arriving at the restaurant Se–or Fred with her son Bronx and mother Tina Simpson.
Of the day’s outing, Ashlee tweeted, “Woo Saturday fun with my mom [Tina] and [son] Bronx. Aw being home is so nice, let’s all take an afternoon nap.”

Tending to her all-important motherly duties, Ashlee Simpson was spotted leaving her parenting class in Los Angeles on Thursday (July 23).
With baby Bronx in her arms, the “Melrose Place” actress strolled past awaiting paparazzi upon finishing up with the day’s lessons.
The outing comes amidst more rumors of trouble between Ashlee and her rocker hubby, Pete Wentz, as sources allege that Pete wants more children.
“Pete wants Ashlee pregnant NOW,” a source told the National Enquirer. “He wants a big family. And he’s adamant that the children should be close in age. But Ashlee is consumed with making it as a serious actress. Each time Pete brings up the idea of a new baby, Ashlee groans, ‘We just had one!’”
The insider adds, “While Ashlee does want more kids, she wants to wait a couple of years. It’s Pete who is getting antsy — and the baby issue is starting to create conflict. Ashlee worked hard to slim down and lose the baby weight after Bronx was born in November. She thinks another pregnancy now will slow her career momentum. And the last thing she wants is to jeopardize this new television gig because of morning sickness and dealing with the physical toll of a pregnancy.”

Tending to her all-important motherly duties, Ashlee Simpson stepped out with Bronx Mowgli in Sherman Oaks on Thursday (July 16).
The “Pieces of Me” singer toted her darling baby boy in her arms as the pair headed off for an afternoon playdate on what was a hot summer day.
Meanwhile, Miss Simpson recently responded to rumors that she’s recording an album of Michael Jackson covers, as she tells that she has no intention of doing so.
Of the MJ talk, she tweeted, “Haha jeez. I loved MJ enough 2 (sic) never in my wildest dreams think of doing a tribute album. R.I.P. A legend. Enough with the goofy stories!”

Joe Simpson is attempting to revive Ashlee Simpson’s music career. Part of his master plan is to have Ashlee record an album of Michael Jackson covers. He’s already pitched this idea to execs.
It’s been a little over a week since Michael Jackson died. At least give it a month before butchering any of his music. At least then he’ll be settled and be able to roll over in his grave.
Does anyone else think Ashlee looks emaciated. You could spear a tiger with that chin.
