Ashlee Simpson’s hair has been blonde, brown and red, but it’s never been short before. Until now. Pete Wentz posted the above picture on his Twitter and wrote:
New blonde pixie haircut is cute! Cute hair mama!
I’m sure he loves it. Now she has the exact same hairdo and eye makeup he does. When they’re doing it from behind, I bet it looks just like he’s having sex with himself. Only it’s his Bizarro self, because she has blonde hair. Otherwise it would just be too weird.

I can?t even remember how long Ashlee Simpson was rocking longer, black hair. I didn?t hate her dyed black hair - it made her stand out from Jessica, and it seemed to compliment Pete Wentz in a husband-wife matchy-matchy way. But, as you can see in a photo that Pete Wentz took yesterday, Ashlee has just chopped off her hair and gone back to a bleached blonde color. Don?t kill me, but I don?t hate it. I think Ashlee has the face to pull off short hair, and the blonde makes her look younger somehow. It?s pretty cute, in my opinion.
Ashlee Simpson has gone back to her roots — literally!
After promising that he would “try and sneak a pic to post” of Simpson’s sassy new blonde pixie cut, Pete Wentz followed through when he uploaded a photo of Simpson and son Bronx, nearly 2, Tuesday afternoon.
“Yah fam headed out tonight stoked!” Wentz, 31, tweeted. “Cute hair mama!”
Simpson (who is a natural blonde) was most recently seen with long, ombre-style hair — though the 26-year-old has also rocked black, brown and red shades in the past.
Wentz’s thoughts on his wife’s new ‘do?
“New blonde pixie haircut is cute!” he tweeted.

Is anyone else pleasantly surprised that Ashlee and Pete are still together, and still seemingly strong? I generally don?t care for either of them, but together - with their very cute baby - they are kind of adorable, and I always like it when a husband has a vocal opinion about his wife?s hair. Very cute! And look how blonde Bronx is!

Showing off a brand new blonde hairdo, Ashlee Simpson was spotted jetting out of LAX Airport in Los Angeles, California on Tuesday (October 12).
The former "Melrose Place" star was all smiles as she proudly debuted the platinum blonde pixie cut while toting her adorable boy Bronx in her arms.
Breaking the news of the new hairdo, Ashlee's hubby Pete Wentz tweeted on Monday, ?Ashlee Simpson-Wentz (@ashsimpsonwentz) new blonde pixie haircut is cute. Ill try and sneak a pic to post."
With Ashlee making her way out to NYC to join her man, Pete quickly snapped a shot and tweeted this evening, ?Yah fam headed out tonight stoked! Cute hair mama!?

Making for quite the adorable trio, Ashlee Simpson and her husband musician Pete Wentz took their adorable son Bronx to do some shopping in Sherman Oaks, California on Monday afternoon (September 27).
Hitting up the West Field shopping center, happy family looked cheerfully colorful as they browsed for the family needs before heading back to their west coast abode.
Both busy on their Twitter accounts during the course of the day, Ashley wrote last evening, "I'm leaving on a jet plane.. Don't know when I'll be back again."
Meanwhile, Pete took time to give props to "Entourage" actor Adrian Grenier, as he tweeted, "the @adriangrenier doc on paparazzi is really good. very balanced in its execution."

Bringing an end to the weekend with a family excursion, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz took Bronx Mowgli out to a local park in Sherman Oaks, CA on Sunday (September 26).
The "Melrose Place" cutie and her Fall Out Boy hubby eased their way to the kiddie's paradise as they watched on while their young son played in the sand in between utilizing the swingset and slides.
Having been splitting time between NYC and LA as of late, Ashlee has recently been working on a new album which is said to have a folk-inspired direction.
Meanwhile, Pete has been traveling all over the world, as he tweeted this past week, "To all my friends apologies for spacing out as of late. My brain has been jumbled mess. I think the jet lag of life caught up with me. Sorry"

The ?Sugar, We?re Going Down? rocker and his ?Pieces of Me? songstress took their son Bronx Mowgli with them as they explored a koi fish pond complete with turtles.
As for her forthcoming album, Ms. Simpson has declared that she?s taking a new folk-inspired direction for the project.
Let?s just hope Ashlee?s new musical journey ends up better than her sister Jessica?s country ambition turned out.

Making the most of their weekend, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were spotted attending a private party in Hollywood yesterday (August 29).
The ?Pieces of Me? songstress and her Fall Out Boy bassist hubby both looked to be in good spirits as they arrived at the luau-style soiree.
