More trouble in eyeliner paradise for Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz. Just as she showed off baby Bronx on Twitter, Pete was partying with strippers, Playboy bunnies and assorted fun-loving people in Las Vegas. He and the other partygoers were boozing it up and going crazy. At various points, ?people were even drunkenly playing makeshift Slip ‘n’ Slide with a mat and lubricant? and Pete was ?dancing on a pool table with the girls.? Jesus, that sounds like a really fun party.
Ashlee Simpson is a proud mama, sharing a new photo of son Bronx on Twitter. However, she may not be so proud of her husband’s recent antics in Las Vegas!
On Tuesday, Ashlee posted a photo of her four-month-old on the micro-blogging site, saying: “I present you my little man and his adorable cheeks!” Interesting timing as Star reports in our April 20 issue — on sale today — that Pete Wentz was getting wild in Sin City with scantily clad dancers and a boozy Slip ‘n’ Slide over the weekend.
The Fall Out Boy bassist ? who was without his wife of nearly one year ? partied hard with about 50 band members, dancers and pals (including Girls Next Door star Holly Madison) following a sold-out show at the Palms Casino and Resort on April 5.
“Everybody was going absolutely crazy,” an eyewitness tells Star. “People were even drunkenly playing makeshift Slip ‘n’ Slide with a mat and lubricant. And Pete was in great spirits. He was dancing and singing along to his band’s own songs, grinding up against the dancers.”
At one point he was “dancing on a pool table with the girls,” the partygoer adds.
However, earlier in the day, Ashlee ? who headed back home after attending FOB’s April 4 concert in Irvine, Calif. ? Twittered: “I am beyond sad to leave my love… My heart is breaking as we drive home.” And also:”I need my hubs.”
Clearly Pete wasn’t quite as upset.

That?s kind of a funny image, like a movie cutaway: Ashlee crying as she watches the rain fall, it?s dark and she?s alone, twittering sadly. Cutaway: Pete doing body shots with various strippers, then declaring he was ?King of the Party? while wearing a jaunty tiara. I?d feel badly for Ashlee, but from what I?ve read about Pete and their relationship together, I don?t think she really has anything to worry about. He loves her, but he also loves the occasional bitchin? party. Live and let live.

Ashlee Simpson is not happy in her role as stay-at-home mom. Her jealousy of Pete Wentz going out every night and partying is beginning to manifest itself. An insider says:
“Ashlee and Pete are on the rocks. He is going out all the time and she’s stuck at home. It’s just not working.”
I’d be concerned too if I were Ashlee. The longer Pete is out there making out with guys on “dares”, the sooner he’s going to discover he loves dick and the faster he’ll divorce Ashlee to shack up with a male groupie in skinny jeans. Won’t anybody think of the children? Or child?

New parents Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are having trouble in their marriage ? at least if Page Six is to be believed. The couple used to be a permanent fixture on the party scene, but since little Bronx Mowgli came into the world they?ve had to tone it down. Well, half of them has. Ashlee?s been stuck at home while Pete is still partying as much as ever. And not surprisingly, that?s created some resentment and friction within the marriage.
PARTY animals-turned-parents Ashlee Simpson (above) and Pete Wentz are having trouble with their new domestic lifestyle. An insider told Page Six, “Ashlee and Pete are on the rocks. He is going out all the time and she’s stuck at home. It’s just not working.”
A rep for Simpson, who’s currently spending some alone time with her hubby in Australia without baby Bronx Mowgli, said, “This is not true. Everything is fine in their world.”

Thank goodness celebs employ high-priced reps who do nothing but deny, deny, deny. That?s money well spent. At this point, I feel most of them could fire their PR flacks and the rest of us can just assume their response to anything less than the most flatting story is either ?No comment,? or some variation of ?We?re as happy as can be.? Oh wait, unless they?re breaking up, in which case it?s, ?We plan to remain the best of friends.?
Since Bronx was born I hardly ever see pictures of Ashlee out and about compared to Pete. How could that not create some ill will? She?s only 24, and Pete has admitted Bronx was a ?happy accident.? Ashlee clearly wasn?t planning on being a mother at this point in her life, and she?s still fairly young. I?m guessing she?d like to go out and party once in a while too. Pete?s 29. He should be better able to prioritize. What really ought to happen is they should both stay home most of the time. Their child needs to be number one in their lives. But at the very least, Pete should offer to stay home and let Ashlee have a break as often as he does.

I can tolerate Ashlee Simpson as a singer. You only have to take her in 3 minute, radio-friendly doses. And I don?t think she?s had any songs out in a long, long time. She?s really just famous for being famous at this point. But unfortunately Ashlee?s decided to step it up a notch, and act. Back in the day she had a few guest episodes on ?7th Heaven,? but now Ashlee?s going to be coming at us full-time, in 60 minute doses, as one of the stars of the ?Melrose Place? remake.
The real-estate market may be sagging in real life, but it’s looking up on TV: The CW has reportedly signed a deal for Ashlee Simpson-Wentz to move into Melrose Place.
The singer-actress, 24, plans to return to TV as a small-town girl trying her luck in Los Angeles, according to Entertainment Weekly. The character she will play ? seven years after her first big role on the WB’s 7th Heaven ? will display a “disarming naivet [that] masks the calculating, shrewd sex kitten within,” says EW.
Simpson-Wentz and her rocker husband, Pete Wentz, will also guest star on the March 18 episode of CBS’s CSI: NY as a Bonnie-and-Clyde-like couple who get caught up in a drug deal gone bad. “I wish I got the chance to be murdered or rob a bank but I heard the make-up is much longer for that,” Wentz, 29, recently told PEOPLE.

Oooh, how unique, a character that?s a disarmingly nave but also a calculating sex kitten. Let me call the Emmy committee and put them on early alert. Seriously, the only thing I like about Ashlee Simpson is that I only have to look at pictures of her. That?s all she?s been doing, walking around and being photographed by the paparazzi. And frankly, that was working for me. Actually sitting through an hour of her ?acting?? Not so much.
Speaking of ?Melrose Place,? Entertainment Weekly reports that Mischa Barton will probably be joining the cast ? and both the roles she?s being considered for are hysterical. ?Did Simpson score the part that Mischa Barton had been circling? My sources tell me no. That means the ex-O.C. siren is in talks to stretch her acting chops to within an inch of their life play straight-arrow med student Lauren or revoltingly sweet schoolteacher Riley.?
I?m encouraging everyone to stay away from this craptastic show. God forbid anyone actually come up with a new concept when they can rehash played out shit television.

Celebrity parents Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz have been seen taking their son Bronx Mowgli to catch a departing flight to London at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Tuesday. The three-month-old baby boy was photographed sucking on a pacifier. The occasion marked the first time ever that Ashlee and Pete brought Bronx out in public place since they debuted his first picture on his official site on December 25 last year. The threesome was photographed arriving at London’s Heathrow Airport the following day.Ashlee Simpson and Bronx Mowgli reportedly are in London to show support for Pete Wentz and his band Fall Out Boy who are scheduled to play the next leg of their tour in support of their latest music effort “Folie a Deux”. The band will play four U.K. dates this week before heading for Europe for the rest of the month.

Enjoying a rare night out on the town since the birth of their baby girl, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were spotted leaving Chateau marmont on Friday night (February 27).
Showing off her bright red locks, Miss Simpson was shielded by her Fall Out Boy rocker as the two exited a star-studded party being held at the popular Los Angeles hotspot.
Meanwhile, Pete is lined up to host the Australian MTV Awards at Darling Harbour on March 27, which he found out while there for the nomination announcement ceremony.
“I just found out. I’m very excited,” Wentz said, adding that he he may bring Ashlee and baby Bronx along for the trip, but said “I don’t know yet”.

Ashlee Simpson took to her blog to defend her sister Jessica from those meanies calling her fat.
I am completely disgusted by the headlines concerning my sister’s weight. A week after the inauguration and with such a feeling of hope in the air for our country, I find it completely embarrassing and belittling to all women to read about a woman’s weight or figure as a headline on Fox News.
All women come in different shapes, sizes, and forms and just because you’re a celebrity, there shouldn’t be a different standard.
Is this something you would say to your wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, or even a friend?
I seriously doubt it.
How can we expect teenage girls to love and respect themselves in an environment where we criticize a size 2 figure?
Now can we focus on the things that really matter.
Oh how wrong she is. Friends and siblings get the worst of the fat jokes. They know you say it out of love and, anyway, those hurtful words just bounce off their soft, jelly-like exterior. But, Ashlee’s right. Jessica isn’t fat. She’s “Rubenesque.” Which is just a fancier way of saying fat. And, for the record, just because you grease yourself up and squeeze into a size 2, doesn’t make you a size 2.

Jessica Simpson had people talking earlier this week when photos came out of her looking like she’d recently put on weight. Jessica’s minor weight gain wouldn’t have been so obvious if it wasn’t for the the incredibly unflattering outfit she was wearing. She’s a beautiful woman with a normal, sexy figure but she chose to wear a tight blank tank top, a bizarre stacked leopard print belt with gold buckles and tight high-waisted jeans that emphasized every pound.
Commenter brianne pointed out that it looked like Jessica was “dressing with the mindset that she’s still superthin,” with an outfit that would have looked fug on anyone.
Jessica’s younger sister, Ashlee, and her former trainer, 5 Factor Diet author Harley Pasternak, have spoken out against the media’s focus on Jessica’s figure. Ashlee got indignant and was surprised that people even talked about it while Pasternak said that Jessica looks great.
“She has curves where a woman needs to have curves. We all go a little bit up and a little bit down. But she’s healthy,” Pasternak tells Extra…
But Pasternak says “she’s still sexy. She’s still a beautiful woman. And I have no problem with the way she looks.”
Adds the trainer, “I think if more people looked the way she looks now, the country would be a lot healthier.”

Pasternak is absolutely right and Simpson looks beautiful, notwithstanding the outfit, and is by no means overweight. It’s nice to see a celebrity who isn’t starved to some warped ideal of perfection. Now if only Jessica could learn to dress well, and could quit oversharing, she’d be all set.
Ashlee Simpson didn’t handle the criticism of her sister’s weight as well, and that’s understandable. She sounds like she’s been ignoring all the tabloids that her family has been courting for the past ten years, though, and considers it some great injustice that her sister’s weight is even mentioned. She blogged that she was “disgusted” by the coverage and said that we would never say the things that were written in the press about her sister to the women in our lives:

Ashlee made the same argument that Jennifer Love Hewitt did and made a reference to a size 2 while trying to address criticism of small sizes in general, not her sister’s particular size. She’s right and it sends a very negative message to young girls especially when we focus on celebrities’ weight. Jessica Simpson appeared on several magazine covers in her Daisy Dukes when she got super fit for her “Dukes of Hazzard” role in 2005. Her diet and exercise plan were featured all over the press and she encouraged it. Now that she’s gone the other way, the press is going to point it out. They don’t need to be nasty about it, though.
Jessica Simpson has issued a statement, that “Going from a size 2 to a size 8, that’s not fat. If I weren’t Jessica Simpson, no one would care.” That’s true, and many people don’t care anyway.

Ashlee Simpson took the net to blog about the media and blog coverage about her sister's weight and I have to agree with her. You look at Lindsay Lohan who is painfully thin and hard to look at and when Jessica Simpson puts on a few (yes more than few) pounds we all say she is fat and make a huge deal about it. So far she has said she comfortable with her new size, but others stars have become anorexic because of stuff like that. I know I am just as much at fault, but I would rather see a celeb with some meat on their bones than one that is just skin and bones. So tomorrow when I bash someone for putting on weight, you can give me crap about it!!!
