Not letting their marital collapse to influence their parental duties, Ashlee Simpson got together with ex Pete Wentz for a family day with their son Bronx in Los Angeles, CA on Thursday (April 21).
The rocker family spent the day at the Travel Town Museum, where Bronx got the chance to see real trains and take a ride through the small park.
Despite Ashlee and Pete's differences, the former couple continue to do things as a family for the better good of their son Bronx.
Meanwhile, Miss Simpson is having a bit of trouble selling her abode - as her home has been relisted with an asking price of $3.69 million, down from the original price of $4 million.
Realty reports tell that the Beverly Crest spread was built in 1992, with Ashlee having bought the home in 2007 for $4.5 million.

They may have split up in February, but earlier today (March 31) Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were spotted out together in Los Angeles.
The ?Pieces of Me? songstress and the Black Cards rocker took their son Bronx to the Beverly Glen Mall where they grabbed some Starbucks libations.
And despite their hang time, it seems things are definitely over for Ashlee and Pete, at least when it comes to their marriage.
They?ll both still remain civil to each other as they want to give their son the best family situation possible.

Not blinking an eye as she transitions into life as a single mother, Ashlee Simpson took young son Bronx out to the 2nd Annual Annual Milk And Bookies Story Time Celebration in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon (March 20).
Recently separated from Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz, the "Pieces of Me" singer made her way over to the Skirball Cultural Center venue while attending the good-hearted weekend get-together with her little one.
With other stars such as Jack Black, Rainn Wilson, Julie Bown, Josh Holloway and Jason Biggs in attendance, the Milk + Bookies event offers boy and girls "the opportunity to select, purchase and inscribe books that are then donated to their peers who do not have access to books of their own. The fun-filled events feature music, story time and, of course, milk and cookies."
With the organization having been founded by Meredith Alexander in 2004, Milk + Bookies has the mission of "combining two essential and worthwhile efforts: literacy promotion and service learning. While the book donations are imperative to our mission, just as important is instilling the seed of giving into each host and their young guests, sparking feelings of importance, self-confidence and the desire to give and give again."

Looking as if she may be gearing up to decorate a bachelorette pad, Ashlee Simpson spent the day browsing the offerings at a local furniture store in Los Angeles, California on Monday (March 14).
The newly single Hollywood mommy was accompanied by her mother, Tina, and young son, Bronx, as the trio rummaged around Lotus Home for possible new home decor purchases.
Having spent the weekend alongside ex-hubby Pete Wentz, Miss Simpson received nothing but praise from her former Fall Out Boy beau during a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest.
Wentz told the "On Air" host, "Ashlee's been my best friend for five years. She's the mother of my child, I have nothing but love and respect for her."
He added, "Going through something like this isn't easy,but we're friends and the most important thing is to put our son first."

She?s divorcing her husband Pete Wentz, and yesterday (February 21) Ashlee Simpson was spotted without her wedding ring at LAX International Airport.
The ?Pieces of Me? songstress sported a cheetah-print jacket as she strolled out of the terminal and hopped into a chauffeured limousine.
Ashlee has been spending her time looking for a new place to live now that she?s single, as she?s been shacking up at mom and dad?s residence as of late.
An insider told press "They drove by a few houses in the USD 3 to 4 million range. Ashlee didn't get out of the car and was quiet and subdued. At one point, she was going to get out of the car but when she saw photographers she decided to stay in the car and then went home."
"The homes were two-story traditional style homes in a family neighborhood. One of the houses was just up from the street from Coldwater Park where she and Pete like to take Bronx to play. The homes were also very close to [sister] Jessica's house, which would be nice for her."

I’m sure tens of you have spent many sleepless nights racking your brain and wringing your hands, wondering where it all went wrong in Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz’ marriage. The obvious answer is that Pete’s a total fag, but it turns out that wasn’t the only impetus behind the split. Us Magazine says:
“Ashlee has been out late partying for the past few months,” says one insider. Specifically, the singer-actress hangs with a crew of pro skateboarders in San Clemente and returns home at sunrise.
Fall Out Boy rocker Wentz, 31, “started getting burnt out” by those antics. On the road with his band, he “would constantly check in on Ashlee, and he’d have his friends call the house and her cell to make sure she said she was where she said she was going to be,” an insider explains. “He felt like he couldn’t trust her.”
But that’s not the story her friends are telling. According to them, it was Ashlee who was staying at home while Pete was out partying it up with his douchebag friends. Page Six:
“Ashlee has been unhappy for a while. Pete continued living the life of a rock star, hanging out late, going to clubs, posing for the paparazzi… She wants her life and her career back.”
She wants “her career back?” Sorry, but you can’t get something back that you never had in the first place. I think it has something to do with the Law of Conservation and the fact that Ashlee Simpson sucks.

Yesterday, I had an interesting little piece from OK! Magazine that included a few choice quotes from Joe Simpson. Papa Joe was discussing Ashlee Simpson?s marriage problems, and how he?ll ?never let his daughters be alone? whenever they?re in crisis. Well, PopEater had an interesting pro-Pete Wentz story about Papa Joe too. According to a pro-Pete insider, ?Just like when Jessica split from Nick, Joe is doing nothing to encourage Ashlee to give the marriage another try, if only for the sake of her son. Joe likes being the only man in his daughters’ lives and is happy that Ashlee has moved back into his home [in Encino, Calif.], just like Jessica did after she announced she was leaving Nick?Joe got rid of Nick, and now he is saying goodbye to Pete. Let’s hope Ashlee finds more happiness than Jessica did when she finds herself officially single again.” Ouch.
Now, Even though the idea of Papa Joe forcing out his daughters? significant others is particularly juicy, I have to admit, I don?t completely buy it. I think Joe stage-manages Jessica?s relationships, sure, but Jessica is now and has always been his blatant favorite. I just don?t see him as super-involved with Ashlee. And maybe Ashlee is the one who needs his help, even more than Jessica. Us Weekly has another pro-Pete story too - and this one is all about Ashlee?s alleged late-night problems:
When the going gets tough, the tough go partying — at least Ashlee Simpson does. Although their Feb. 9 divorce announcement took many by surprise, pals close to Simpson and husband Pete Wentz tell the new Us Weekly that the spouses of nearly three years “have been talking about splitting up forever.”
Simpson, 26, had coped in part with the impending split by having some late, late-night fun. “Ashlee has been out late partying for the past few months,” says one insider.
Specifically, the singer-actress — and mom to son Bronx, 2 — hangs with a crew of pro skateboarders in San Clemente, Calif., and returns home at sunrise.
“She would lose track of time,” the insider says. A source says a part-time nanny helps look after Bronx, and in her divorce filing, Ashlee asked for physical custody of Bronx and child support.
A Simpson source says the skateboarder thing is all innocent, however. The skaters are from Joe Simpson?s new show, The X-Life. ?She went to the wrap party for the shoot, and Pete deejayed. They went and came back together.

Wentz left a full hour and a half before his wife, who chainsmoked outside with Nicki Hilton.
Add to that, Ashlee?s career problems, like getting fired from Melrose Place halfway through the season. ?She?s frustrated and insecure,? says on source, saying that the anxiety has caused her to lose weight. ?She?s so skinny? I worry.?

I?ve read the print edition of Us Weekly too, and there?s even more in there. Here are a few tidbits: Ashlee has decided to go back to her maiden name. Ashlee and Pete?s marriage fell apart a few months into their marriage, and Ashlee only got married because her parents basically forced her to (through guilt, I think). ?Everything changed? after she got pregnant. Sources also say that she?s left the home she shared with Pete, and she?s moved back in with her parents.
Oh, and here?s another gem: Us Weekly?s sources say that Joe Simpson is going to try to use Ashlee?s divorce to re-launch her career. Once source predicts, ?In a few weeks, she?ll have an album annoucement? Then he?ll announce she?ll go back on Saturday Night Live to promote it.? Ooooh? that should be good!

Showing her sisterly support, Jessica Simpson is sticking by younger sis Ashlee during her separation and divorce from Pete Wentz.
An insider revealed to In Touch that the ?Pieces of Me? singer has been staying with Jessica and her fiance, Eric Johnson throughout the difficult time.
"Leaving Pete was tough for Ashlee and she needed to be with her family," the source said. "Jessica told her she and Bronx were welcome to stay with them until she was ready to find a place of her own."
"There have been a lot of family dinners and lots of praying," the source further explained. "Ashlee couldn't have asked for better support."

They announced their separation earlier this week, and details concerning the divorce between Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz continue to emerge.
According to one report, Mrs Simpson-Wentz has been unhappy in the marriage for quite some time while Wentz was satisfied with the marital situation and didn't see this coming.
Another report from People claims that the once happy couple's story is a classic case of marrying young, having a kid young and growing apart over the years.
Both Ashlee and Pete were spotted out separately just days before Simpson filed for divorce on Wednesday.
The soon-to-be ex-couple released a statement saying, ?We remain friends and deeply committed and loving parents to our son Bronx [2 years old], whose happiness and well-being remains our number one priority.?

Well, isn’t this the day for the death of true love. Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz have announced their split. Says Digital Spy,
Ashlee Simpson has filed for divorce from husband Pete Wentz.
According to the court documents, Simpson has cited “irreconcilable differences” as the legal reason for the split. The 24-year-old is seeking spousal support, reports TMZ.
“After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to file for divorce,” the couple said in a statement.
They added: “We remain friends and deeply committed and loving parents to our son Bronx, whose happiness and well-being remains our number one priority. We ask that everyone honour our privacy as we navigate this next phase of our lives.”
Simpson is seeking primary physical custody of 2-year-old Bronx with visitation for Wentz. She also hopes to drop the moniker Wentz from her name.
The pair married in May 2008. Their official date of separation is to be determined, according to the court papers.
Yes, yes, “irreconcilable differences” indeed. The problem was that there was one too many vaginas in the marriage. And no, I’m not talking about Ashlee’s.
