Pampering her pooch, Eva Mendes took her dog to the Animal Hospital for a check up and trim on Saturday (December 1) in Westwood, CA.
Dressed in printed black pants and a black sweater, the 38-year-old ?Hitch? cutie held tight to her four-legged friend's leash as they left the building.

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are STILL together. It?s been more than a year. Can you believe it? I didn?t think it would last this long. So I guess I have to admit that I was wrong? they?re making it work. Eva and Ryan were in New York over the weekend, and they even posed (?) for a nice candid photo-op on the street ? unfortunately, we don?t have those pics. You can see them here. Page Six says that Ryan and Eva were also spotted catching a Broadway show!
Ryan Gosling and girlfriend Eva Mendes took in Jessica Chastain?s play ?The Heiress? at Broadway?s Walter Kerr Theatre over Thanksgiving weekend.
The couple came in just before the curtain went up at a matinee performance, and spies said Gosling tried to remain incognito with his brown hoodie up and a jean jacket.
But one witness said, ?He was trying to not be recognized, but he looked so out of place that everyone knew who he was! The grannies next to us were gushing over him.?

One, of course the grannies love The Gosling! I think many of Gosling?s Hey Girls are probably menopausal. Two, of course everyone recognized The Gosling! That seems to always happen to him ? he seems to consistently try to go incognito and he?s consistently ?discovered? by his roving band of Hey Girls. I?m not sure if that?s on him or if it?s really not his fault at all.
So? Ryan and Eva are still together. If they?re together through the holidays and into the new year, what are the chances of an engagement, a marriage and/or a baby? I?d say? it could totally happen.

Last night, Eva Mendes walked the carpet at the AFI Fest for both On the Road and her own movie, Holy Motors. It was weird seeing Eva in the On the Road photo grouping, and I kind of wonder if she didn?t accidentally wander onto the On the Road red carpet when she thought she was at her own premiere. Eva wore the same dress for both appearances ? a pretty Dolce & Gabbana dress in black lace. She wears a lot of D&G, and it suits her. She?s got a great figure, and when she does the ?Sofia Loren style,? it works on her. The problems come when she veers away from tight and sexy with big hair.
This was her first red carpet in nearly two months ? the last time she made a red carpet outing, it was at the Toronto Film Festival, and she was wearing a ridiculous turban. So? this was an improvement on the style front. Unfortunately, for this carpet, Eva did not have Ryan Gosling by her side. I think Ryan is still in Texas filming that Terrence Malick movie with Natalie Portman, Michael Fassbender and others. I?ve heard from some Gos-watchers that Eva has not been in Texas with him? but she?s been filming a movie in Boston, so maybe they?ve been separated for legit reasons and they?re still very much together. Or not. Who knows?

Hard at work on her new project, Eva Mendes showed up on the Rockport, Massachusetts set of ?Clear History? this morning (October 22).
The ?We Own The Night? actress looked to be enjoying herself as she worked alongside Liev Schreiber, Jon Hamm, and director/star Larry David while shutterbugs looked on.
?Clear History? is about a disgraced former marketing executive who plots revenge against his former boss who made millions from the electric car company the once owned.
Due out sometime in 2014, the flick also stars Kate Hudson, Michael Keaton, Bill Hader, Danny McBride, and Amy Ryan.

You know what? I still can?t get enough of these Toronto Film Festival photos of Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes and the Turban of IDGAF. They crack me up every single time I see them. Eva?s turban is the gift that keeps on giving! Anyhoodle, The Enquirer claims that Ryan and Eva are still very much loved up! Sorry, Gosling Hey-Girls. It?s not going to happen, at least according to The Turban?s propaganda machine. According to the Enquirer, Ryan and Eva will probably get married next year and they?re already planning to make a nest for themselves in Miami.
Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are running away! They plan to escape the bright lights of LA by fleeing some 3,000 miles to Miami, where they?ll set up their love nest, say sources.
?Ryan?s friends tell him he?s crazy to leave LA,? a pal told The Enquirer. ?It?s where his career is and where his friends are. But Ryan says producers and directors will know where to find him. He wants a new life and a fresh start with Eva. They feel trapped in LA.?
Ryan and Eva have been dating for more than a year, and friends say they?re likely to wed early in 2013 and are already planning their future together. They?ve focused on Miami for a good reason. Eva was born there to Cuban immigrants and then moved to LA with her mom at age 10 after her parents divorced.
?Eva has a strong liking for Miami,? said a friend. ?It?s a place of happy memories for her.?
As for Ryan, when he was just 12, his family moved to Orlando, Florida and he got his first big acting break on the Disney Channel?s Mickey Mouse Club.
?Ryan says the two years he spent in Florida were the best of his life,? notes the friend. ?Eva and Ryan agree they need to leave LA. They sometimes feel like they?re exhibits in a zoo, being ogled all the time. It?s not the life they want for themselves or their future children.?

I always think the whole ?living in Miami? thing is a nice fantasy for five minutes, and then I remember how hot it is, and how humid, and how all of the girls have awesome bodies and every year about a million college students come and barf all over your city during ?spring break?. Still, it?s nice to fantasize about ? beautiful beaches, fun nightlife, a buyer?s market in real estate, etc. But I think it?s a bit disingenuous for Eva to complain (if she?s really complaining) about the ?attention? she gets in LA. Girl LOVES the attention she?s been getting since she started up with Ryan. She eats it up. What will The Turban do if it has to go to Miami and never be pap?d again?

Here’s some photos of Eva Mendes on the set of Clear History, which is an HBO film that she’s filming with Jon “Freeballing” Hamm. I’ve included some photos of him at the bottom of this post, and it is with much regret that I report he is probably wearing underwear. Or so I assume because HBO probably has a slightly (ahem) more expansive budget than AMC does, which is my running theory on why Don Draper doesn’t always wear undergarments. Or maybe he’s just, you know, a male slut.
If you haven’t noticed, Eva’s hair is looking markedly different than her usual street style, and she’s got some fairly springly curls going on, but are they real or just a wig? I’m inclined to say “wig,” but I can’t tell for sure because that hat complicates matters. Also, Eva has taken a “life-changing” trip to Sierra Leone to raise awareness for women’s issues in the region, and she’s spoken about her trip to People:
With a visit to Sierra Leone, Eva Mendes is helping raise awareness about serious issues affecting girls and women around the world.
Based on the best-selling book by Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn, the new series “Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide” introduces Mendes and other stars, including America Ferrera, Diane Lane, Meg Ryan, Gabrielle Union and Olivia Wilde to women and girls living under difficult circumstances, ranging from maternal death to prostitution.
Mendes, 38, kicks off the four-hour series – airing Oct. 1 and 2 at 9 p.m. ET on PBS – with her visit to Sierra Leone, where she meets with activist Amie Kandeh, a survivor of gender-based violence working with the International Rescue Committee to help other survivors toward safe, productive futures.
“I knew I was in for a life-changing experience,” Mendes says of participating in the project.
“This experience has profoundly affected me,” she says. “I was so shocked and saddened to learn the extent of gender-based violence taking place in Sierra Leone every day and that trip has made me want to be a part of the solution.”

Like most of you, I’m not a huge fan of Eva, and it’s not even because she’s all up in Ryan Gosling’s Disneyland business because I think he’s pretty inherently douchey too. Rather, I just think Eva is a lousy, one-note actress and a famewhore who rarely neglects to comment upon her own sexuality in any given interview. Still, I can’t fault her in any way for participating in this cause. I do think that using the term “life-changing experience” is fairly clich, but no one ever accused Eva of having a way with words beyond telling you whether or not she’s wearing underwear at any given moment.
Speaking of underwear, here’s some photos the Hamm. His hair is looking pretty interesting too, but that’s probably due to the wind and not some potentially wiggy situation.

Getting into character with a nearly unrecognizable look, Eva Mendes was hard at work on her latest film project on Tuesday (October 2).
The 38 year-old Tinseltown beauty ditched her everyday hotness as she rocked curly locks and an athletic ensemble while making her way around the Topsfield, MA set of ?Clear History."
As for the upcoming Larry David directed HBO production, the storyline focuses on a disgraced marketing executive who plots revenge against his former boss after walking away from an electric car company that ends up being worth millions.
Joining Miss Mendes in the star-studded cast are Kate Hudson, Michael Keaton and Jon Hamm, among many others.
While no exact release date has been revealed at the current time, you can expect to see ?Clear History? hit the small screen in 2014.

Showing off her amazing sense of style, Eva Mendes was spotted out and about in West Hollywood, CA on Wednesday afternoon (August 22).
The ?Holy Motors? actress looked casually gorgeous in a patterned summer dress and strappy wedges as she made her way past the awaiting photographers.
Though Eva has been spotted out without her Hollywood beau Ryan Gosling, it seems she has been keeping herself busy with some retail therapy.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, the 38 year old actress was out just yesterday for some mid-day shopping, coming just a day after she a made a stop at her stylist's, Rachel Zoe, office for some fashionable advice.

I was so surprised that so many people wanted to talk about Eva Mendes and her beautiful, giant puppy earlier this week. I wrote that post thinking no one would care. So? you probably won?t care about this one, right? Too bad! I like talking about Eva Mendes. She stepped out again yesterday for a spot of shopping. She was seen all around West Hollywood, running errands and going into a vintage clothing store. Fortunately, she did not bring her unleashed, giant dog with her.
We can debate whether or not Eva Mendes actually likes to be pap?d on a nearly daily basis, or whether the paparazzi just find her and follow her around all day ? I suspect it?s both. She enjoys it, she enjoys her newfound ?celebrity? as Ryan Gosling?s girlfriend, and she puts on little fashion shows on a daily basis, encouraging us to talk about her. I think she also gets followed by the paparazzi against her will too.
So, what of her fashion? Eva Mendes tends to dress ?pregnant? right? I?ve made the mistake of doing Bump Watch on her before, but it?s not entirely my fault ? she likes loose-fitting, phantom-bump-creating clothes. This dress is another Classic Mendes ? the kind of dress only a woman with a superior figure (like Eva) could even come close to pulling off. She doesn?t look pregnant from the profile? but I?m not completely ruling out an ?unplanned pregnancy? in the future. Even if Ryan Gosling believes in marriage before babies.

The 38-year-old actress looked effortlessly chic in a vintage belted dress and strappy heels while she stopped into Necromance and Design Utopia to pick up a few items.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, the the "Hitch" actress took her large pooch Hugo out for some relaxing time in WeHo on Monday afternoon (August 20).
During their outing, the two made a stop at her stylist Rachel Zoe's office.
