Stopping by to say hello to a friend, Jessica Alba headed to a private home in Santa Monica on Friday (May 31).
The "Sin City" star looked cute in a short floral dress, denim jacket, and black studded boots while carrying a tribal print leather bag in to the house.
On Thursday, the 32-year-old actress and entrepreneur shared a peek at her family tree, showing where she got her exotic beauty.
Posting a black and white photo of a woman in braids, Jessica commented, "Mi abuelita aka gamma gamma or grammers... thx cousin 4 the pic #regram."

Kicking off the morning with some family bonding, Jessica Alba and Cash Warren showed up at Le Pain Quotidien in Beverly Hills today (May 28).
Joined by their youngest daughter Haven, the ?Fantastic Four? babe and her hunky husband both looked to be in good spirits as they smiled while leaving the restaurant.
Over the weekend, Jessica and Cash took Honor and Haven to the Los Angeles Sparks Women?s Basketball game and everyone had a marvelous time.
After the buzzer sounded, Ms. Alba took to her Twitter account to share her good cheer- ?Kiddos had a blast #LaSparks game -our new fave family activity.?

Here’s a picture of Jessica Alba being honored by at the Champion for Children Award Ceremony in Greenwich on Monday. Jessica was being singled out for her hard work to promote healthy lifestyles and wonderful lifestyle tips that are supposedly more grounded than Goop methods. Naturally, I wouldn’t be surprised if this was just a staged ruse for Jessica to promote her newish book, The Honest Life, which is a tome full of “affordable” tips to build a “healthy non-toxic” lifestyle and is essentially a promotional tool in and of itself to promote The Honest Company. Jessica might be a lousy actress, but she sure is good at branding.
Meanwhile, Jessica is also pimping another area of her wonderful life. She and husband Cash Warren just celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary, and both of them are shouting it from the Tweettops. Jessica even Instagrammed some photo montages to celebrate the occasion. How romantic?

Spending a mommy-daughter day with her eldest, Jessica Alba went to the salon and shopping at Pavilions in West Hollywood on Saturday (May 11).
The "Sin City" star looked cute in a sleeveless long black-and-white patterned dress and black hat, while Honor walked beside her in a pretty Pink frock and denim vest.
Recently, the 32-year-old actress and owner of The Honest Company poked fun at herself on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
In a segment entitled "Mean Tweets,"Jessica shared one person's unkind message to her, reading, "I just saw @jessicaaalba. If this was 2007 I'd be really excited."

Jessica Alba attended the Met Gala as the guest of designer Tory Burch. She was there along with Ginnifer Goodwin, below. Both of these ladies tried to be punk, but there was something too feminine about their gowns. Alba was interviewed by Vogue.com’s correspondent on the red carpet and she said that she felt “very elegant but kind of punk rock because it?s leather.” Leather doesn’t make something “punk rock,” cut, styling, attitude and accessories do and this dress was lacking somehow. She’s in a sexy cutout leather dress which was was actually navy blue, not black. I love the lace pattern on the leather and she looks gorgeous, just not punk. Her earrings are very cool.
Check out the studded leather jacket that Alba wore over this dress. She should have kept it on for the photos and it would have been perfect.
Ginnifer Goodwin was also in Tori Burch. She tried to compensate for the safe sequin gown with some very dark black eye makeup and messy hair. She said “Having short hair has been very liberating tonight… we were trying to keep up with how incredible the dress was.” The dress wasn’t that incredible, in my opinion. It was a typical cap sleeve gown that Burch tried to make edgy with leather details. She didn’t quite bring it.
Christina Ricci was in Vivienne Westwood and I think she rocked this sexy little mullet gown. This is the kind of plaid “ska” print that crossed over into punk. (Or maybe it originated in punk and crossed into “ska,” I’m a product of the 90s!) Westwood knows punk and she married it with fashion well here. I even like Ricci’s black fishnet stockings, this is the 90s punk that I know so well.
Minka Kelly was more goth than punk in this very striking full length purple Carolina Herrera gown. This was incredible in my opinion and was such a beautiful dress. I love the sequins around the shoulders and neckline and the way the sheer lace overlay reveals a sexy fitted gown underneath. The detail on this dress is so impressive yet it doesn’t cross over into “busy” territory. I would love to wear this gown.

On Sunday, the author, entrepreneur, and mother-of-two celebrated her 32nd birthday in a relaxing and fun day where she feels most comfortable.
Grateful for the day, Jessica tweeted, "Bday surprise brunch and spa day at home w @lauren_andersen @kellysawyer and @rrari_5000 -thnk u for an awesome day ladies!"

Preparing for a productive day at the office, Jessica Alba carried four bags inside a building in Santa Monica on Thursday (April 25).
The "Sin City" star looked super cute in a blue knee-length floral dress and black leather jacket with black platform heels as she lugged her supplies.
Recently, the 31-year-old actress sat down with Net-a-Porter magazine and revealed one of her secrets to getting her body where she wanted it to be after having daughter Haven in August 2011.
Sharing an uncomfortable secret, the mother-of-two admitted, "I wore a double corset day and night for three months. It was sweaty, but worth it. It was brutal; it's not for everyone."
