Ending out the weekend with some shopping, Katie Holmes was spotted at the Brentwood Country Mart yesterday (July 24).
Joined by her adorable 5-year-old daughter Suri, the ?Mad Money? mommy looked stylish in a white cardigan overtop a muted floral pastel printed dress with round shades.
And if Katie is correct, little Suri is gearing up to follow in her famous mommy and daddy?s footsteps.
She told press, ?I think she?s going to do a lot of different things. She?s an amazing athlete, singer, and dancer, and I think she?ll probably be an actress.?

Katie Holmes does the leather ‘n lace thing for the August issue of Vogue Espana, and supposedly, this is a side of Katie we’ve never seen before. Until now, it’s only been hanging in the back of Tom Cruise’s closet.

Adding another magazine cover to her credit, Katie Holmes is on the front of Vogue Espana's August issue.
And this time, the ?Mad Money? mommy has traded her wholesome persona for a darker, dominatrix demeanor.
Katie dons a tight-fitting black lace dres from the Lanvin Fall 2011 collection along with a black leather hat.
And that?s just the beginning- in the accompanying photo spread, shot by Tom Munro, Katie keeps things racy in a cleavage-bearing top, suspenders, and a lacy mask.

Katie Holmes covers the August issue of Vogue Spain, presumably to talk about her film Don?t Be Afraid of the Dark, which doesn?t come out for another? five weeks or so. Ah, it just occurred to me why Katie did a Spanish fashion magazine? it?s produced by Guillermo del Toro, one of the most successful Spanish-language director-producers working today. I guess that?s the connection?? It makes no other sense to me.
As for the cover and cover shoot - our little Katie is trying to mix up. I feel like she?s been doing a lot better recently with the whole red-carpet/magazine/candid photos thing. Her hair has been looking great, her makeup has vastly improved, and she?s found some great jeans. But I think Katie was pushing her Xenu-provided envelope with this faux-dominatrix shoot. Does Katie think that if she dresses up like one of the Village People, Tom will come running? Sigh? it doesn?t work that way, Katie.
The rest of the photo shoot looks like ?The Audited Becomes The Auditor? (LOL, I cracked myself up with that one!). Seriously, these pics were taken in the ?basement? of The Castle d?Xenu. And by that, I mean John Travolta?s ass.

With her movie star hubby Tom Cruise hard at work, Katie Holmes spent the afternoon at her Miami, Florida hotel pool with daughter Suri Cruise on Sunday (July 17).
The two cuties were joined by family friend Mike Piazza (who happens to be an ex NY Mets catcher) and his daughter Nicoletta Piazza.
During the pool playdate, Suri practiced her front flips and played with beach balls and a noodle before taking a break to eat ham and cheese paninis.
Recently talking about balancing motherhood and work in the August issue of InStyle, Miss Holmes said, "My work has changed for the better [since becoming a mom]. I have more to bring to a role."
She added, ?We already have a very big family; a full household with cousins who are over a lot, and she has her friends. My biggest thing is making sure she's fully taken care of and doing well."

Katie Holmes is the cover girl for the August issue of InStyle, and these are some shots from the pictorial. I?m kind of meh on it - Katie?s been looking so good lately in candids, and in these overly ?Shopped photos, she just looks plastic and cartoonish. The only thing I take away from the shoot is that she should wear more dark green - that shade of green really agrees with her coloring. Anyway, in the interview excerpts from InStyle, it?s basically the same old robot, except for one notable quote - Katie comes very close to saying that she doesn?t want to have another baby. THAT is very interesting.
Katie on date nights with Tom: “Two years ago he took me up on his P-51 Mustang, a fighter plane from World War II. He painted the words, ‘Kiss Me, Kate’ on the side? It feels like you’re on a bike in the sky. I thought, I’m either going to spend this whole flight totally freaked out or realize this is pretty thrilling.”
Katie on Tom and getting romantic: When you’re married to one of the world’s biggest movie stars, whom Holmes calls a “manly romantic,” life is bound to be exciting but also challenging when it comes to balancing careers and family. “In our family we have a policy: we make it work,” she says. “We Skype, and we try not to go for a week without seeing each other. We’re also very good at setting up camp wherever we go.”
Being a mom has influenced her work: “My work has changed for the better. I have more to bring to a role.”
She doesn?t feel pressure to have another baby: “We already have a very big family; a full household with cousins who are over a lot, and she has her friends,” Holmes says. “My biggest thing is making sure she’s fully taken care of and doing well.”
Experimenting with fashion: ?I?m not afraid to try a new designer or do something trendy, but it has to look right on my body. You don?t want to look like a fashion victim!?
Aging: ?Hopefully I can age gracefully. And if not, I?ll have to figure it out. But I don?t think I?m ever going to do my lips - my sisters would kill me!?
Teaching her younger self: ?If there were one thing I could teach my younger self, it would be this: Realize your own power.?
On the excitement of landing new roles: “Every time I get a job I cry. It sounds hokey, but it’s a sparkly moment that reminds you you’re living your dream every day. No matter how many roles you get, it’s like, ‘Somebody thinks I can do it!’”
On always making sure to be ‘ladylike’: “I always try to conduct myself in a ladylike manner. That was my mom’s advice to me before every school dance, and it’s really locked in.”

I applaud Katie for talking about how she doesn?t really feel the need to have another kid - I think it?s brave, considering most people expected her to have another baby, and considering there are constantly ?bump watches? on her slouchy frame. She?s not giving into societal pressures? but of course, there could be other explanations (that I won?t get into).
LMAO at ?Every time I get a job I cry. It sounds hokey, but it’s a sparkly moment that reminds you you’re living your dream every day.? Oh, honey. Poor robot.

Yesterday, I put up some of the earliest photos we had of Katie Holmes at the Armani show in Paris. Thankfully, we got some better photos so now we get to see how much Mr. Armani secretly disliked the Kate-bot. He put her in this slouchy black outfit - although to be fair to Mr. Armani, Katie might have picked it out for herself. Ill-fitting slouchy pants? are they meant to be Capri pants? Or is the hemline just wonky? And that shiny faux-menswear-style shirt. It?s all pretty bad. I was wondering why this outfit seemed so particularly hideous to me, when really, it?s far from the most terrible thing Katie has ever worn. I think I hate it so much because A) Katie?s style has actually been improving lately, and it hurts me to see her take a dip, and B) because Katie rarely does that all-black thing, nor the all covered-up thing.
I will say this, though - in addition to being (generally) more stylish lately, her hair has also been consistently AMAZING lately. I don?t know what she?s doing with it, but it looks so good. Her makeup is great too lately, What?s up, Kate-bot? She really needs to work on not looking like she?s rebooting though:
Next up: Katie?s casual look for an outing to the Dior children?s boutique, which she went to after the Armani show. The outing deserved a costume change! You know what? If Jennifer Garner was wearing this ensemble, I would probably find it dated and cloying, but on Katie, it?s not bad. I dislike skinny jeans, but she?s working a pretty good pair, and that blouse looks feminine and sweet on her, rather than immature.

Katie Holmes went back to her hotel after attending the Armani women Haute Couture Fashion Show in Paris on Monday and, as Fame Pictures so astutely notes, she’s greying at 32. Being married to Tom Cruise, having a kid and keeping up a Stepford housewife facade must be stressful.

Enjoying some time overseas, Katie Holmes was spotted at Paris Fashion Week in Paris, France earlier today (July 5).
The ?Dawson?s Creek? darling looked lovely in a black and grey ensemble as she arrived for the Giorgio Armani Prive Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2011/12 show at the Palais de Chaillot.
Katie had flown into the City of Lights from Miami Beach, Florida where she helped her husband Tom Cruise celebrate his 49th birthday.
Over the weekend, Holmes threw her ?Top Gun? guy a fabulous fete at the super-luxe SoHo Beach House Hotel, and pranced around in a black bikini.

Checking out of the super-lux South Florida hotel, Katie Holmes was spotted leaving the SoHo Beach House earlier today (July 4).
The 32-year-old was all smiles as she made her exit from the exclusive members club - the place where she hosted husband Tom Cruise's weekend-long 49th birthday celebrations.
Meanwhile, Katie is stepping up to show support for her hubby's latest project, recently gushing about his forthcoming action flick, "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol," telling MTV, "It's amazing."
Holmes furthered her excitement for the film with an equally-exciting claim, telling, "The movie is going to be very cool and intense and the best Mission yet."
